Chione was trying a different outdoor café tonight, though her end goal was of course the same, draining all of the couples that she could see outside and then go home.
It had become a routine, picking off the ones that looked the most happy, or draining one and not the other and seeing how panicked the partner grew. It didn’t fill the void in her heart…but it gave her a little moment of pleasure. Of glee. A heady feeling of power.
It was a control that she felt less and less of as she continued to muddle through her life…but…it helped. Doing this helped her feel more stable. And it didn’t really hurt anyone. They would recover.
So there was nothing wrong with what she did.
And this café was so hidden in a little back alley that she was sure nobody could find her unless they were really looking for trouble…and of course the moment she smirked at the very though, she felt the order aura and scowled, glancing around, her arms crossing over her chest.
…It was still far enough away that she could join the crowd at the café or run and find a mirror but…
Chione sat up a little straighter, making a motion with a finger for her wraiths to continue on their path, draining the fat balding man with his young…girlfriend.
Let them come.

Humming contentedly, Xibalba patrolled quietly, sticking to the darkness and shadows where he could. As nice a night as it was, he was hoping there wouldn't be any trouble. It was pleasant enough to just inhale the warm, flower scented night air and think about the fact that he had a plane ticket waiting for him at home for a little weekend trip.
Just in time for the holiday.
He paused for a moment, as a chaotic aura brushed across his skin. His sense of responsibility demanded that he investigate. But what if it turned out to be like Ptolemy? Someone who was just out wandering, but not causing mischief? Then he'd have wasted his time. On the other hand, it could be someone like that little idiot lieutenant who'd been haunting the bus station.
The tall page thought for a moment and then sighed heavily and veered to try and track the aura. He just couldn't do nothing.

Chione was almost growing bored waiting for whoever it was to get there. She wasn’t moving from her spot and the longer the order aura too, the more energy she could gather.
Her eyes lit again on the heavyset older male and a smile curled across her face as he gave a great yawn and fell forward, his face now resting lightly on his pillow of salad.
Serves him right. She could see that the young lady he was with looked a mixture of relieved and horrified…and it made her feel pretty darn good. Stupid creep.

Well, the trail had led him to an outdoor cafe and Xibalba almost threw his hands up in disgust and left, except, he saw an older man slump forward. Of course, ti could have been a stroke or heart attack. But with a strong Chaos aura in the area, he doubted it.
Careful to not reveal himself too soon, he hung back in the shadows and studied the area intently. And after a few minutes, he was rewarded with the sight of a feminine looking figure on the rooftop just opposite the cafe.
"Gotcha," he murmured before very carefully circling the building. Once he found an out wall that wasn't in sight of the public, he rubbed his hands together and began to climb. Hardly a dashing way of doing things, but it was a quiet way. He didn't want to alert whoever it was too soon.
And once he reached the edge of the rooftop, he pulled himself over and crouched for a moment, watching the girl.
"Well now, ye don' look as daft as the last lass. Should we just cut right tae the chase and not bother with th' lectures?"

Her wraiths had been recalled when the male got closer than she would have liked, and slowly, Chione stood, shrugging. “Not…really sure what you just said, but your uh. Stealth approach doesn’t really work when I can feel your aura. I’ve been waiting for you for, oh, I’d say almost five minutes or so now. I was getting bored.”
Her eyes took in his appearance and for a moment, she felt a strong sense of glee. “Oh. Oh my. You’re going to get cold, aren’t you? Not much clothing there.”
Chione held her hand out, almost as though to introduce herself, though she smirked slightly. “Chione Little Blizzard.” It was satisfying to watch the magic burst from her…and it was even more satisfying to know that this half naked…knight? Was it a knight?
Whatever he was. He was about to be very cold.
…And for some reason, that was almost as amusing as watching the disgusting old man fall into his salad.
“Don’t mess with me. I’m not in the mood much anymore.”DaisyMilk Chione Little Blizzard! Sailor Chione holds out a hand towards her opponent and a small burst of snowflakes flies out, surrounding the target and wrapping them in a mini blizzard. It is very cold, snowy and windy and the 'blizzard' renders all movements nearly useless, and limits the vision of the the one affected. The attack can be used twice per battle and and lasts for twenty seconds per use.

Something in the girl's gleeful expression as she gloated over him being very cold made Xibalba determined to in no way oblige her. And when he saw the miniature blizzard bearing down on him, he thought that he'd be damned if he gave this wee bint the satisfaction of seeing him shiver. He'd turn into a blue ice statue first.
As the snow obscured his vision and the wind began to whip through his hair and up under his kilt, the burly knight ground his teeth together and summoned his ladle. It was useless. But he knew enough about senshi magic to know this couldn't last forever. And when this s**t faded, he was going to be ready to throw his ladle at the girl's face.
In the meantime, all he could do was inch himself closer and endure.

Chione watched her magic work and suddenly felt…bored. There was no fun in this. In just jumping in and using magic on people. They didn’t care about why she was doing what she did…and honestly, if she were being entirely truthful, she wasn’t sure why she did what she did…the gathering energy had never really made much sense to her…but…if it was for her ‘cause’ then she supposed she could keep it up.
It was her job. And it was expected. Sort of.
Not like she would get into trouble for not doing it.
For a moment she sighed, shoulders slumping and all the fatigue that had built up over the last several months felt as though it had come crashing down to utterly destroy her. She was sure that she still had a good few seconds left on her attack, and biting her lip she hesitated. Would it be cowardly to run? Or just…
“You’re in luck. I’m bored. And I’m tired. And I’m just…out of here. So. Maybe next time before you try to mess with me…put on some clothes, won’t you? It’s easier that way…besides.”
She walked past him to hop off the roof. “You look dumb.”
Grinning, Chione took a running leap off of the rooftop, and slipped into the mirror that was propped up in the nearby alley.

Xibalba was vaguely aware that the girl was moving and possibly talking, but his own little localized blizzard made hearing exactly what was being said... difficult. Still, he fought to turn to face her. Only to have the the magic that had fed the blizzard vanish and reveal that she'd vanished.
Well, okay. Not vanished, but as he followed the direction that he thought she'd taken, he rather thought she had a means of escape somewhere nearby.
Sighing gustily, the tall knight threw his hands into the air in exasperation and shook his head. Well, a hollow victory was better than total defeat. Maybe.
Still shaking his head he leapt from the rooftop and once he'd landed in the alley and was sure of being alone, powered down. His time would be better spent packing.
