Beringia had felt the aura of a lower level senshi and youma within his range of patrolling for the evening, and regardless of the balmy heat of Destiny City, he headed right for it.
He didn't like the idea of order people alone anymore and since his partner was now working with the darkside, it was up to him to make sure others didn't fall prey to their wicked wiles of the ways.
Or something like that. He hopped around the buildings, just to see a senshi dressed in even worst wear for the balmy heat then himself, dispatch a youma into the rift again.
"That vas good vork." He stepped down, crossing his arms over his uniform and pulling at the neck where he gave her a steely blue gaze. "Are new to senshi life or no?"

Slowly but surely she was getting better at this Senshi thing. While she wasn't really new anymore she still felt new. As the creature screamed back into the rift from whence it came she felt as though someone was watching her but was quickly remedied of that thought when someone spoke. So there was someone there. Turning to look upon the well dressed man she couldn't help but note that he too was dressed warmly. "Thank you." Giving a little wave of her hand she answered his question, "No and yes. I suppose you could say I'm at war with myself." She was curious to know a little more about the well dressed man that stood not far from her.

Ah, she wasn't the jumpy kind of senshi. Beringia thought that was sort of admirable of someone who looked so young, though most senshi looked young to him. Perhaps because he was a old 25year old polaris knight who had seen war too much.
Perhaps because he was just grumpy old man. Secretly the soul of a 100 year old man.
"Is veird vay of ansvering?" He cocked his head as arms came up to cross over his chest and he studied her longer with bright blue eyes. She was a well covered senshi, quite the opposite of his sister Methone, but none the less a senshi.
"Var vithself how?" He wasn't some counselor but her answer intrigued him. "I am Beringia." He said with a gruff, "Squire of the Princess Polaris." He waved his hand, "She has vinter style with more..." He like gestured to his stomach, "Less."

It was a fairly good thing she wasn't the type to get lost in thought often or she'd of had a hard time understanding what he was saying to her, his accent was a little thick but she understood him easily enough since she was paying attention to him. "I don't feel as though I'm as good a Senshi as I should be." It was a matter of fact observation she had made of herself, she was holding herself back because she was afraid and she needed to stop doing that. "I'm Kiviuq. It's a pleasure Beringia." His name was unique and she quite liked it. When he gestured to himself, explaining the other's outfit she chuckled. "Oh yes, most have less than myself. I'm the Senshi of the Arctic, so I suppose this suits it." She gestured to herself when she said the last part. "How long have you been a Squire?"

"Ah I see!" He nodded, "You are seeking improvement of self. More stronger perhaps? More skills?" She seemed to do just fine dispatching youma's but not everyone felt the same when trying to dispatch a agent.
She was also young, so the squire rubbed his chin. "Thank you, very polite. Not many senshi have that." He decided she was probably a very well raised senshi. Considering the difference of Sedna to her, and even Methone. Methone was more showing and open, Sedna more go getter.
This senshi seemed level headed and knew her way in the war. He feared though....
"I have been squire for not long, vas awakened in....couple years ago." He nodded, "You have ice magic then?"

The words he spoke was exactly right, giving a nod of her head with a smile she looked around for a moment and then returned her amber colored gaze back to him. "That is correct, just self improvement in all areas is a better way to summarize it." Cocking her head slightly she hadn't met many others so she was slightly surprised when he had said she was polite. "I haven't met many others, at least in a one on one setting." He'd been awake far longer than her, she had only been a senshi for about a year and a half. "Sort of, it's more like cold wind. What of you?"

"That is admirable goal." Beringia rubbed his jaw and made a small sound. "It is hard to self improve though, when it is self." It was something he was lacking in himself. He didn't know how to improve himself after what happened to Sedna, and was going into a downward spiral of a.....whatever he was downward spiraling in.
"That is shame. Must have a partner....." Or maybe not since he hadn't done anything to protect his, "Is good to have family or friends to watch the six." He gestured to his back, using the military term for it.
"Magnets." He gruffed, summoning the envelope that was his weapon. "This is my weapon." He looked at it pitifully, "But magic is magnet from envelope touching object to another object. Useful vhen vant to talk to pesky agents."
He took a deep breath. "If not busy then, vill patrol vith for night to make sure remains safe?"AstoriaFallen I'm at word count if you wanna wrap soon? <3

Pixie Nyxie we sure can wrap this up in your next post probably? and a last response from me. It was true that self improvement wasn't anything anyone else could really help you with, though she also wanted to better herself as a senshi. Listening as he continued to speak she hadn't ever thought about a partner. Well Brioche was sort of her partner, wasn't he? While he wasn't HER guardian cat that feline had been so helpful to her in so many ways, but he wasn't exactly a battle partner. Giving some thought she wondered how someone even went about getting a partner, usually it was a friend of theirs wasn't it? That was probably her problem, she didn't have any friends really. Not any powered one's that she was aware of. Brioche was about as close as she had but he wasn't able to do too much. "I'll have to look into that partner thing." Really she just needed to make friends. "Oh interesting! Perhaps we'll run into some more youmas and you can show me how it works." She gave him a wink when he offered to patrol with her for the night. "I would very much like to patrol with you." She said happy to at least have a form of acquaintance for the evening.
