Ulla was walking her way to the Dragon’s Den. She had her usual galaxy dress on but was wearing a light blue kimono just in case it was cold inside the Den. She stopped before proceeding any further as she sighed. ”....Riolu. I can’t move any faster than I have been with you tugging on my dress.’ She said very calmly as she looked back. Riolu was holding on to her dress very tightly, trying to hold her back from going to a very dangerous den. A dragon den?! Riolu didn’t like the idea of obviously going into somewhere dangerous. Ulla pulled Riolu’s paw off of her dress. ”Look, Riolu. I will be with one of you the entire time. But right now, you can not be out of your Pokeball. You might spread your virus. Sub’s orders. Remember?” She said as Riolu knew she was right. She smiled as she took out two Pokeballs. The girl threw one of them up in the air as Togetic popped out happily as she flew around them cheering. ”Togetic is a fairy type. He is strong against Dragons. So don’t worry. Now, go back in your Pokeball.” She said as Riolu looked at Togetic. Togetic had a salute stance, saying that he will not leave Ulla’s side. Riolu hesitated then nodded as he went back into his Pokeball. Ulla looked at Togetic as she smiled, ”Alright Togetic, it’s time to work our magic.” The little fairy smiled happily as they continued walking to the Dragon’s Den.

They soon made it over a cliff as they were able to look out to see Blackthorn City. As they were looking down in the city. They can already hear the roars of the dragons, even though the den was beneath the city. Many of those roars sounded angered. Ulla looked around to see if there were some Team Rocket goons anywhere, the only ones she was able to see were two guarding the door. ”I’d really like to get into that cave as soon as I can. Let’s go around behind them Togetic, that way they don’t see us just coming.” She said as Togetic spun happily. As they were climbing to get around Team Rocket, they felt eyes on them. ”Togetic…do you feel eyes on you too?” She asked as they both looked around. Soon enough, a Charmelon and two Charmanders appeared. ”Shoot, we are outnumbered…”

The Charmeleon let out a roar as they obviously didn’t like the company they were receiving. ”Alright calm down, we’re the good guys. We don’t mean any harm.” The fire dragons weren’t buying it as the two Charmanders went up to use scratch as Charmeleon used Flamethrower. Togetic was able to dodged the attacks but his wing touched a bit of the Flamethrower. ”Togetic take care of the Charmanders first! Use Fairy Wind!” Togetic’s wings started fluttering as gusts of wind with bits up glitter in them hit the fire dragons as it knocked them back.

The fire dragons then looked at one another as they nodded. The Charmander’s then used Ember as puffs of small little fireballs were being launched at Togetic as Charmeleon continued to use Flamethrower. Togetic took the skies as it weaved its way through the fire attacks. ”Alright Togetic! Time to take the chance, Metronome!” She called out as Togetic started singing happily and waving its hands back and forth as it started glowing blue. As Ulla was watching Togetic, her jaw dropped in shock. A giant whirpool was forming in Togetic’s hands as he had to raise his arms as it was growing even bigger. The Charmeleon and Charmanders were also in shock as they started to run off holding their tails close to them so it wouldn’t go out. Togetic threw it down as the waves of the water crashed with the rocks as it was going to where the Team Rocket goons were watching the entrance to the Den. The two Team Rocket members looked back to see so much water come at them as they were pushed into the pool of water surrounding the entrance. Ulla got to higher ground just in time so she wasn’t affected by the huge mass of water.

As the water started flowing down, Ulla noticed something splash into the water. Rocks fell down into the water, but the thing she saw. Was blue. Togetic floated over next to the girl making sure she was okay. She merely patted the fairy on the head. ”You did a really great job. Let’s keep moving shall we?” Togetic nuzzled her head against her hand as they started to carefully climb down to the entrance of the den.

The duo finally made it down the ridges as they entered the den. Already, they felt the air change as they entered. So many roars they heard as it was a mess inside. It was a little dim inside as they were walking around. ”This place is really creepy now. It’s kind of hard to see, but it’s pretty manageable-” As she said that, she fell off the ridge and started sliding down. Togetic frantically followed right behind her, trying to grab her hand but couldn’t as Ulla fell into the water. Togetic called out to her non-stop as he noticed a Team Rocket member noticed him. Ulla was underwater holding her breath as she opened her eyes and was memorized by all of the different dragons that were in the water. Gyarados, Seadra, school of Dratinis with a few Dragonairs watching over them. She then noticed a small little cave at the other end, it looked dark inside as she started to swim towards it but then in like an instant flash. She saw a glint of something purple then the purple turned out to by eyes, as those eyes were right in front of her. It was a Dragonair, staring right into her eyes. Ulla was startled as she started swimming up to get some air. She popped out of the water and looked around.

Togetic quickly found Ulla as he nuzzled against her face. ”I’m fine Togetic. Are you?” She asked as she saw the Team Rocket come closer towards them on a boat. ”You there! You are on unauthorized territory! Get out before I take you out with force!” ”You think right now I’m enjoying my time in the water? I could’ve been attacked by some dragons.” She said as Togetic grabbed her arm to help her up on Team Rocket’s boat. ”W-What do you think your doing?! This is my ship! Honchkrow go!” The grunt shouted as he threw a Pokeball in the air and popped out a large bird. Togetic was getting himself pumped as Ulla put her hand on his tiny shoulder. ”Why don’t you take a break from this one?” Togetic sighed a little disappointed but she was right as he stood back. Ulla then pulled out a Pokeball and threw it in the air. ”Alright Rowlet take the sky!” She shouted as Rowlet popped out flying around Ulla then up in front of the larger bird.


”Honchrow use Dark Pulse!””Rowlet cut through it with Peck!” Honchcrow’s wings let out a ring of darkness around them as Rowlet’s beak started glowing as it collided with Honchcrow’s attack. A puff of smoke came out as it covered the trainer’s watch over their Pokemon. Both of them flew out of the smoke with Rowlet chasing Honchcrow. ”Catch up to them and use Leaf Blade!” Rowlett picked up the pace as his wings started glowing green. ”Don’t let brat catch up you! The grunt shouted as the Rowlet quickly caught up to Honchcrow as he slapped his wing downwards. Honchrow took little damage as it wasnt that effective, he was able to regain control quickly as he turned his body to face Rowlet.

”Sucker punch lets go!” The team rocket member shouted as his Pokemon swung his swing right at Rowlet. Rowlet took the punch as he started falling and fell into the water. ”Rowlet no!” She shouted as the little girl went to the end of the boat looking where they fell. ”Rowlet…..Rowlet answer me!” She shouted as she saw a few bubbles coming up. She looked up to where the Honchrow was. ”Rowlet use Brave Bird!” She shouted as Rowlet splashed out of the water as they were flying directly at Honchrow as Rowlet was surrounded by red aura and crashed right into Honchrow. Honchcrow landed in front of his trainer knocked out as Rowlet landed gracefully but was covered in static from the shock. He was also soaking wet from just getting out of the water. ”Honchrow return!” The Rocket member returned his Pokemon as he looked at Ulla angrily. ”You won’t get passed all of us. Just watch it.” He said as he jumped into the water and left the the den.

Ulla looked at Rowlet and picked him up. ”You did an amazing job Rowlet!” She hugged the bird tightly as Rowlet hooted happily. When Rowlet was let down, he shook his body to get some of the water off his feathers. The little girl giggled as she pulled out a towel and helped him dry up.

After Rowlet was dried off, Ulla took the paddles of the boat. ”It’s time to get going again. She said to her Pokemon as she started rowing. Togetic and Rowlet were looking around as Rowlet looked down in the water. He watched as he saw different types of Dragon Pokemon, suddenly he sees violet eyes staring right at him. He started hooting scared as he flew over to Ulla and sat on her lap shaking. Togetic looked at Rowlet and started laughing. ”You guys, come on. We gotta take this seriously. She said as the boat started rocking back and forth.

Togetic quickly flew over to Ulla a little scared as well. ”You two. Come on it’s probably just the Pokemon down below playing fun with the boat. We are almost at our stop so-” Right then, a Gyrados sprung up in front of their boat. It made a very loud roar as the little girl’s Pokemon screamed. ”Rowlet go and use peck go!” She shouted as she started rowing the boat out of the way. Rowlet reluctantly felw up as its beak started glowing as the bird darted at the Gyrados as he let out a Hydro pump. Rowlet quickly dodged it and swarmed around the giant pecking him in several directions. ”That’s it! Now use Razer Leaf!” She shouted as Rowlet chirped as a storm of sharp leaves came flying down at Gyrados. It then lashed out and used Ice Fang, it connected as the bottom half of his body was frozen. The weight of the ice was making it hard for him to fly. ”Rowlet return!” She said as she recalled Rowlet back to his Pokeball and looked at Togetic with a soft smile. ”You up for battling again?” Togetic nodded as he flew up to the dragon

It roared another mighty roar as it let out a mighty Dragon Rage. Togetic braised for impact as he was being knocked all over the place but it showed it barely did any damage. ”Lets go Togetic! Metronome!” She shouted as the little fairy’s hand started glowing as itself was glowing pink. He smiled as he flew quickly to the dragon as a big pink puff of smoke surrounded them as Togetic was using Play Rough. The smoke then started to clear as it showed both Pokemon pretty beaten up. Togetic was breathing a little heavily, while the Gyarados was merely staring it down. It then went down with a big splash. Togetic and Ulla sighed with relief that it was over as the big splash made Ulla’s boat pick up some speed. Togetic quickly flew back to her and nuzzled against her face. ”You did awesome out there Togetic. So did you Rowlet. I’m very proud of you both.” She said as she released Rowlet from his Pokeball that way Togetic could help break the ice off of him.

After a little while, they made it to the center where the Dragon Elder would be. Ulla then recalled Togetic and Rowlet to their Pokeballs. She then ran up the stairs as they saw Team Rocket Excutive Ariana with a Team rocket grunt. It looks like they were trying to get Claire to get out of the way. ”You are in Team Rocket’s way of world domination. I suggest you move before you break a nail.” ”Not a chance. This place doesn’t belong to Team Rocket. It belongs to the Pokemon that live here and to the Dragon Elder! So back off before I blast you outta here!” She said as a Dragonite popped out of one of her Pokeballs. The Team Rocket grunt pulled out a Pokeball as a Nidoking appeared. Ariane watched as the battle commenced as she was about to run to look for another entrance. She then halted when she saw Ulla.

”Out of my way kid! Your in the way of-” She then noticed Ulla’s SNAG machine on her arm. ”I see. So they are now having kids join?” ”I’m gonna ask you politely. Leave this place now. Before anyone else gets hurt.” The little ask as she threw a Pokeball in the air and popped out was Riolu in a fighting stance. Ariana just snickered. ”A child pulling out a child Pokemon? This is going to be grand.” She said as she pulled out a Pokeball of her own as Honchcrow popped out. ”Prepare to die! Honchrow sucker punch!’ She shouted as the Honchrow flew fast straight at Riolu. Riolu barely had time to react as the hit landed. He flew back a little but was able to regain his balance. ”That thing is really fast. But we can be faster. Quick attack go!’ Ulla said as Riolu nodded as he dashed quickly to the enemy but instead of going for a direct attack, he made a hard turn as Riolu was circling the bird and then attacked it from the side.

”I’m impressed you guys have some moves. But how long can you stand? Wing attack go!’ She shouted as the bird quickly got up in Riolu’s face and slapped him with it’s wing. Riolu was knocked back a little too close to Ulla as Honchcrow went again up close to Riolu for another Wing Attack. Riolu quickly pushed Ulla out of the way as he went in the other direction to dodge it. It came close to hitting both of them, but the only thing that was damaged. Was Ulla’s necklace. The strap broke as it fell off her neck. ”Oh no!” She tried to grab it but it fell down the stairs and into the water. Both Riolu and Ulla looked at the water in denial. ”....That was my necklace I shared with Riolu….” She said as a few tears fell from her face. Riolu was still in disbelief as his anger took over as he was possessed by the Shadow Virus. He quickly turned to the Honchrow as he dashed at the bird as he kicked the air as waves of dark aura went launching at the bird Pokemon. Honchrow startled by how big it was took the hit as it was critical. ”It’s weak against flying type moves Honchrow! Keep using Wing Attack!”

The battle between Honchrow and Riolu kept going as Ulla kept staring at the water. That was the last thing mama gave me…..before….mama….I’m so sorry. I lost your most precious necklace. She thought as she heard Honchrow cry out in pain. She came back to her senses as she turned back to the battle as she saw Honchcrow fainted with Riolu seriously injured and still in Hyper Mode. ”...Riolu. Can you hear me?” She asked as Riolu didn’t turn his head back to her. He slightly heard her but he was too angered. Ariane recalled her Pokemon and pulled out another Pokeball that held a Vileplume. ”Riolu, tag out. There’s no need to-” She was then cut off as Riolu charged straight at the Vileplume with its tail being illuminated from dark aura. ”Use Poison Powder Vileplume.”the executive said calmly as the Vileplume shakes its body as spores of poison surrounded it’s body as Riolu got infected. Riolu squinted at the pain of poison as he knelt forward. ”Riolu listen to me! You can’t give up! Riolu!” She shouted as Riolu came back to his senses. He looked over to Ulla and nodded to her with a faint smile. He stood up in pain as he walked over to Ulla. She then quickly hugged him and let him sit down next to her. ”It’s okay buddy, we’ll find that necklace. One way or another.” She then turned her attention back at the women. ”We aren’t done here. Togetic, go.”

Ulla threw a Pokeball as Togetic popped out ready to give a beating. The executive was unimpressed ”What a baby team. Poison Powder once more.” Ariana commanded as Togetic prepared himself to move. ”Blow it back with Fairy Wind Togetic!” She shouted as Togetic started flapping his wings furiously as the Poison Powder went back at the Vileplume. The Vileplume then became poisoned as it started looking sickly. ”Nice job! Now time to use Metronome.” She said as Togetic started waving his arms. ”Vileplume stop them with Stun Spore!” She shouted as Vileplume started shaking as yellow powder come from it’s body.

Togetic stopped moving its hands as his hands were glowing a light brown and so was his head. He then charged at Vileplume with a Head Smash. Togetic directly hit Vileplume in the center as the grass type quickly fell over. ”You have go to be kidding me…” She said under her breath as she was about to call out another Pokemon but noticed the sounds of many roars. The Team Rocket member that was fighting Claire was running away as he passed by Ariana ”Where do you think you are going?!” ”A-Anywhere but here! Look!” Ariana looked to where the grunt was talking about as she saw a massive horde of different dragon Pokemon were coming at them. ”T-Togetic run!” She shouted as she took out her hoverboard, put Riolu on her back, and started skating to the side. Togetic quickly flew towards Ulla as the Team Rocket executive had to retreat herself.

The dragon Pokemon finally got some spirit as they were driving most of the Team Rocket members out of their den. But the executive was nowhere to be seen. The dragons were being led by a Drogonair, a lone Dragonair who looked very serious. The Dragonair made sure that all the Team Rocket members were sent out as Ulla watched from the sidelines. ”I’m sure that should get all of them out.” Claire said as she patted Ulla on the shoulder. ”You were really brave out there. This being a dangerous place, nice job.” She said as Ulla smiled warmly.

Claire brought Ulla and her Pokemon back to the Dragon Elder as she was surrounded by numerous different dragons. ”My my. What a cute little girl. You must be the one the dragons have been talking about.” The elderly woman said as she petted one Dratini that was sitting next to her. Riolu and Togetic looked at eachother who was amazed by an elderly woman who can understand Pokemon. ”Thank you so much for everything please. I would like you to take one of my many dragons with you on your journey.” She said as most of the Pokemon stepped up. Ulla was amazed as she looked back at her Pokemon. Both of them just pushed her to go choose one.

Ulla walked around to all of the dragons as she was looking through them one by one. None of them, she really felt nothing towards any of them. While she was walking around, one of the Pokemon tapped her shoulder. She turned around to see a Dragonair. ”Oh uhm hi. You were the Dragonair that pushed Team Rocket out right?” The Dragonair nodded as she had something in her mouth. It was Ulla’s Key Stone that dropped in the water. Ulla’s eyes lit up as she saw the stone, the dragon elder took notice. ”Oh my. How did that child get hold of a Key Stone?!” She then looked over to her Riolu who had the Lucarionite. ”They also have a Lucarionite?!” She then realized she was speaking pretty loudly as she composed herself. The little girl had tears in her eyes as she grabbed her necklace and retied it around her neck. ”....M-Mama…” The Dragonair heard as she was a little touched as Ulla hugged onto the Dragonair. ”T-Thank you so much...I thought I’d never see this again.” ”Oh why isn’t that sweet~” A familiar voice was heard as it was Ariana, she was soaking wet as it looked like she probably was underwater to hide. ”I’m not gonna let you take the glory and get a free Pokemon!” She threw out a Pokeball as it splashed into the water as it was a Lapras.

The dragon Pokemon were very unsettled as many of them were roaring ready to battle. But the Dragonair roared at all them to let her take care of this. The Dragonair looked onto the little girl, as she pointed at herself. ”You want to partner up?” Dragonair nodded as she splashed into the water. She glared at the Lapras as she wanted all of these strange people out. ”Uhm, uh, uh. Moves, moves…” She held her out that had the SNAG machine on, it scanned the Dragonair as it showed what moves the Dragonair knew. Both Ulla and Riolu looked at it as they saw a specific move that was surprising Dragonair knew. ”Let’s get this over with! Lapras Ice Shard!” Lapras roared as an icicle sphere appeared in front of it as it started shooting literal shards at Dragonair. ”Dragonair dive to dodge it!” Dragonair quickly dived down as it was swimming side to side as shards were still being shot at it. This was Dragonair’s turf, so she knew all of the secrets and where it was best to strike. The Lapras dived down to look for Dragonair.

Both the Team Rocket executive and the little girl looked around in the water to locate their Pokemon. Riolu tapped on Ulla’s shoulder as he discreetly pointed where Lapras and Dragonair were. Ulla smiled warmly as she took in a deep breath and shouted. ”Dragonair use Extreme Speed!” ”W-WHAT?!’ Lapras was looking around as it was too dark to find Dragonair as they felt a very sharp pain on their side as Dragonair appeared out of almost thin air as she used all of her force to push Lapras out of the water and back on ground. The Lapras slammed on the ground as Dragonair gracefully jumped out of the water in front of Ulla. ”You’re so amazing Dragonair.” ”We aren’t done here brat! Lapras use Hydro Pump!”

The Lapras was shooting several pumps of water at the the Dragonair. Dragonair was able to evade several shots but not all of them as it pushed her back as Lapras was moving even closer. ”Lapras!” Both Ariana and Lapras shared a glance at one another as Lapras shot several more Hydro Pumps in different directions and but then aimed one at Ulla. Dragonair was able to dodge all of them as she didn’t realize one was aiming at Ulla, she panicked as she was about to go back to her but then saw Lapras use Body Slam as Lapras was now on top of her. Ulla crossed her arms over her face as to protect her face but then Riolu stepped in front and cut the Hydro Pump in half with his Iron Tail. Ulla placed her hand on Riolu’s shoulder and smiled then looked at Ariana ”Do all of you always throw low blows?!” ”If it means it gets the job done! Ice Beam Lapras!” Lapras threw its head back as it started charging up an ice beam. Dragonair tried to squirm out but Lapras’s weight was crushing her. ”Thunder Wave Dragonair!” She shouted, Dragonair looked at Ulla as she merely had a smile on her face and nodded.

Dragonair started focusing electric energy on her body as a wave of electricity came off her body and ran upwards on Lapras’s body. The Ice Beam it was charging was then released but it was hot in the air. Dragonair was finally able to break loose as she looked at Ulla. ”Let’s wrap this up! Use Ice Beam!” Dragonair charged up her own Ice Beam as it was a direct hit on Lapras as it was now in a block of ice. ”Now let’s push them out with Extreme Speed!” Ariana didn’t like the sound of that as she started running towards the exit. Dragonair was seen slithering towards Lapras closer and closer very quickly as she slammed right into her as it sent the Lapras popsicle right into Ariana as it sent them flying out of the cave. ”Y-Youl’ll pay for this brat! You have my word!” She shouted as they couldn’t be seen anymore.

Ulla and Riolu quickly ran towards the Dragonair as the little girl hugged the dragon. ”You were so great Dragonair!” ”Most impressive you two! I’m guessing you’ve chosen your partner?” Ulla nodded as the Dragon Elder as she looked at Dragonair. ”So. You’re finally ready to leave the den?” The dragon nodded as Ulla was a bit confused. ”Dragonair didn’t want to leave at first?” ”Yes. You see, this one was a mother at one point. But one night, some people stole her children, sense then she hasn’t went to chosen to leave the den with a Trainer. Anytime she was challenged to a battle, and if they tried to capture her, she would whip the Pokeball to the ground to destroy it. Believing one day, her children will be able to come back to her. I even taught her how to use Extreme Speed. That was probably the secret those no gooders wanted to learn.” the elder chuckled as the Dragonair stared at Ulla. ”....You’ve been watching me this entire time I’ve been here haven’t you?” The Dragon nodded as she laid in front of her ready to be captured. Ulla took out an empty Pokeball and tapped it on the dragon’s head as it went in and quickly clicked shut. She then returned the rest of the Pokemon that were out. ”Welcome to the family Dragonair.” ”Please be sure to take care of her. She may still be a handful, even though she chose to be with you. She is still a dragon.” ”Don’t worry, I believe this young one can’t take of things.” Claire walked over as she had one hand on her hip.

Ulla smiled at both of them ”I’m just so glad I was able to make it in time before anything bad happened. ”Yes, yes of course. Anyways young child how did you get that Lucarionite and Key Stone?” ”Lucarionite and Key Stone?” She asked a little confused as she looked at her necklace. ”You mean this?” The elder was a bit surprised the child didn’t know what she held was something very powerful. ”Y-Yes. With those two, you’ll be able to make your Riolu once it evolves to Lucario, it can mega evolve to Mega Lucario.” ”Mega Lucario huh….” She said as she took a better look the necklace as it was just her mom’s favorite necklace. Now she understood why. ”Thank you for everything! I should be heading off now.” She waved both Claire and the Dragon Elder good-bye as she exited the Dragon Den. As she was heading out, the other dragons still there bid the child farewell to her as well.

Ulla and Leon were in the family living room as they were looking through the binder titled ‘Hanabi’ given from Professor Kukui. Finding out about their mother; Nagi Hanabi being a Fairy Channeler. Actually explain a whole lot to them. But, the thought of it still shocked them. Ulla was reading every single file in that binder with incredible speed. ”...Apparently Grandpa was a Channeler as well. But, he chose not to go through with training so it was very slim. But, mother chose a different path and followed through with training….The report that Kukui gave us as well says that they spotted papa’s Lucario at Mount Lanakila.” Ulla said aloud to Leon who was in the kitchen making their dinner. Leon then brought out two plates of curry with rice as he placed one in front of Ulla as he sat down next to her and started eating. ”Eat.” Ulla put the binder down as she took a bite out of the curry. Soon enough, her face turned a faint red as he started breathing heavily. ”It’s too spicy.” Leon wasn’t use to making food for two again. He gave her a glass of milk to wash it down as she drank it quickly but then started eating it again. Between them, they were pretty quiet. ”....We need to go see dad’s Lucario.” ”....Yeah.” Ulla looked at her brother with a bit of concern. ”...I’m okay. I’m just wondering. Why he never came back. Why did dad’s Lucario never come back, but left his Lucarionite? Why did mom give us her Key Stone? Why did nobody tell us the truth about what happened? Why was our parents so secretive about their work?” Leon stood up with their dirty dishes as he put them in the sink. Ulla stood up and walked over to a family picture of all four of them. ”...We can’t really talk about our work as well to anyone either...Maybe it was something like that?” ”No way. Mom and Dad would never do anything so reckless because they-” Leon stopped his sentence as he might have a good idea what was going on. ”Leon?” ”....They wouldn’t do anything reckless...because they had us…we are going to Mount Lanakila. We need answers. And Lucario needs to perfect Mega Evolving.” Ulla nodded as she kept staring at the photo. ”Papa...I’ll get to meet one of your Pokemon in battle...I can’t wait.”

Few days passed as they were now at the bottom of Mount Lanakila. Both were wearing their usual attire but they also had on thicker jackets on and snow boots. Lucario popped out as he started to try and sense for their father’s Lucario aura. ”Any luck Lucario?” Lucario looked back at both of them and shook his head. ”He’s probably towards the top of the mountain. We better start climbing while the weather isn’t too bad for now.” Leon then looked down at Ulla and Lucario. ”I won’t be helping you in your battles. Just think of me as a supervisor. I may catch a Pokemon along the road but that’s it. This is your test to show you guys can Mega Evolve.” Lucario and Ulla nodded as they all started going up the mountain. As they were heading up the mountain, nothing popped up just yet. ”What do you think papa’s Lucario looks like now? You haven’t seen them since that day.” Leon pulled out his SNAG as he mad a copy of the binder in his SNAG machine. ”From what it said in the reports, a few have seen Lucario up on this mountain. Some noticeable traits. He seems to be bigger than any regular Lucario. Plus, some trainers have seen that the piece on his chest is broken.” ”So. He became a Totem.” ”....Yep.”

As they kept walking higher and higher up the mountain, it started getting colder. Ulla was hugging herself as Lucario kept walking in front of while Leon was walking behind them. The wind started to pick up as they had to stop anytime it blew hard. ”Make sure you’re not close to edges Ulla. You might fall over.” Ulla nodded as she ran into Lucario as he stopped in his tracks. ”Lucario what is it?” He pointed towards where he felt a strong aura. Out in the snow, there was a Snorunt. But, this one seemed stronger than any others. The Snorunt looked at the three of them but then his eyes landed on Lucario. He stepped in front of their way as he shouted for a battle. Lucario nodded as he took a fighting stance. ”Looks like we aren’t getting through until you battle the Snorunt.” ”So, guessing this is some sort of test then. Awesome.” Ulla stood next to Lucario as he was waiting for a command. ”Lucario Metal Claw go!”

Lucario’s claws started sharpening and started glowing as he charged forward at the Snorunt as it used Double Team. There were multiple Snorunts around them as Lucario was slashing out at each and everyone of them. ”Lucario focus! Use the Aura!” Ulla shouted as Lucario calmed down and closed his eyes and started focusing on where the real Snorunt was. He finally caught where the Snorunt was, it was now using Icy Wind as the temperatures started to drop. Lucario quickly ran towards it as he jumped passed several different clones and used Metal Claw. Snorunt was knocked back as it buried in the snow but then got back out. Lucario looked back at Ulla to check if she was okay with the weather condition, she was managing as she was putting her arms around herself. ”I’m fine Lucario! Go and use Metal Claw again!” Lucario’s speed was lowered a bit due to the Icy Wind as he started throwing punches as it was dodging each blow but Lucario was able to land super effective one. Before he was flown back, he took a bite out of Lucario’s arm and used Ice Fang. The cold started to get under skin as he was panicking as he was trying to flick Snorunt off. ”Lucario! Lucario Close Combat!” Lucario then slammed Snorunt into the ground as it finally released him from the Ice Bite. Before Lucario could combo punches and kicks, Snorunt shouted in Pokespeak. Saying that he surrenders. Once he did, the Icy wind settled as it was a bit warmer. Lucario helped the Snorunt up as it gave him a smile.

Leon and Ulla walked over to Lucario and Snorunt as the Pokemon were talking amongst themselves. ”Why did you attack us? Are you testing us or something?” Leon asked as Lucario asked in Pokespeak for him. Once Snorunt gave Lucario an answer, he was even shocked. ”What did he say?” Lucario faced the two of them and pointed at the spike on his chest. ”...Dad’s Lucario told him so. huh?” Lucario nodded. Ulla and Leon fell quiet until the Snorunt started jumping to get their attention. ”What is it Snorunt?” Snorunt started running off to a hill as it stopped and started calling out for them again. ”It wants us to follow it.” Leon said blankly as he led the lead. Lucario and Ulla followed as they were both genuinely surprised what the Snorunt was standing next to. It was a Time Flower. Both of them had sparkle in their eyes as Leon was a bit confused what it was. ”...It’s a stupid plant.” ”Stupid plant?! Big Brother this is a Time Plant! This is just like the plant in Sir Aaron’s story! I wonder if it still works.” Ulla and Lucario looked at eachother very happily as they held out their hands to the plant as it started glowing. The center opened as all of them were surrounded by an image of the past.

Lucario and Ulla were amazed by it, but their amazement. Turned into shock. ”Nagi? Where are you?” Ulla was facing her father as Lucario was facing their father’s Lucario. Taka Hanabi, had the same hairstyle as Leon but a bit darker. He was a bit more bigger when it came to muscles compared to Leon as well. His eyes were a light purple color. Leon quickly stood behind Ulla as he put his hands on her shoulders. He was in shock that this was actually happening. ”...Ulla. This is our dad. Taka Hanabi….” ”I’m right here dear! I’m just checking out these rocks here.” A woman called out as she was climbing up to Taka and his Lucario. Ulla froze in place as she saw the woman. ”....Mama…” Leon tightened his grip on Ulla’s shoulders. Nagi Hanabi, the Fairy Channeler. She had long white, silvery hair that went below her waist. Her eyes were a darker purple compared to Taka’s. Taka helped Nagi up where he was as he hugged her tightly. ”Are you sure you wanted to come with me and Lucario to get the Lucarionite? You just had Ulla not that long ago.” ”Don’t worry dear. I’m sure we won’t be gone long. Ulla has a very caring brother and the entire village.” Taka released her from his hug and ruffled her hair. Ulla took note of her dad ruffling her mom’s hair. ”C’mon. I don’t want my little princess waiting for us long...Lucario?” ”Yes master?” Taka’s Lucario was beant over observing the Time Plant as he stood up to look at the pair. ”I believe you two are ready to move on?” Taka and Nagi nodded. ”Very well. Master, I will lead the way. Please watch Nagi from behind. As you already know, the weather is unpredictable here.” ”That’s not a problem.” All of them started walking up the mountain once again. Soon enough, the image dissipated back to the plant.

The Snorunt said it’s good-byes to the group as it ran off. Leon kept his grip on Ulla’s shoulders as this was hurting him harder than he thought. Ulla placed one hand over his as he took a deep breath in and let it out. ”Let’s keep going. I’d rather not freeze to death.” Leon let Ulla go as he started going up the mountain again where he saw his parents go. Ulla looked at Lucario as they both started following him. It was quiet, as it getting colder due to it being a cloudy day so there wasn’t many rays of light to keep them warm. ”...So, Papa was the reason we started ruffling each other’s hair?” ”...Dad? He wasn’t really well with expressing his emotions to me growing up or to you. He always felt like he would crush us seeing how small we were. So, he would ruffle our hair to keep us close enough without hurting us.” ”...Did Mom always smile?” ”Mom would light up any room she was in. But when she was mad, it was a scary sight.” Leon chuckled under his breath a little as he looked back at Ulla. ”I’m sorry. It’s just, seeing them after….even though it was just a memory. It was good to see them again.” Leon motioned for Ulla and Lucario to walk next to him. They caught up to Leon as he looked up to the mountain. ”...How’d it feel seeing them Ulla?” ”Though it was just a memory...It was like they were there. It was so real.” Leon could only snicker. He held Ulla’s small hand. ”I’m glad you were able to see them.”

As they were getting higher up the mountain, the snow was getting thicker and making it harder to walk. Leon took out a Pokeball as Pyroar popped out. ”Ulla. Get on. Pyroar will be able to keep you warm and it’s easier to walk.” ”I-I’m fine for now big brother. Thank you.” Though Ulla was saying something she was fine. But she was shivering. Leon watched her shiver as he sighed. ”Do whatever you want.” Leon got on Pyroar as laid down on his back. Ulla kept walking along the the path until she fell in a pit. ”AAH-” Before she fell completely out of sight, she looked up to see Lucario holding on to her hand as he was struggling to hold her. He was hanging on to her as he was also hanging on to the ledge. Ulla looked down as she could only see darkness. She didn’t even know how far down this pit went, she then grabbed onto Lucario’s arm with her other hand as Lucario started pulling her up. Once Ulla was out, both of them were relieved that it was over. ”...Can you please now get on Pyroar? I told you to be careful of ledges and what not didn’t I?” Ulla got up and so did Lucario as both of them were more pumped now. ”No way. Like you said Leon, this is my trial. No helping!” ”I said I’m a supervisor. I said I wasn’t going to be doing any battles with you….Were you even listening?”

The group continued their ascendance up the mountain as the weather wasn’t letting up one bit. ”I-It’s getting really bad now…” ”I know.” Before they could continue, they noticed another Pokemon in their way as this time it was an Absol. He looked angry as he was growling at Lucario. Lucario growled right back at him. ”Looks like we aren’t backing down in this one. Lucario Bone Rush!” Lucario formed a staff as he used the bone staff to launch himself above Absol. Suddenly, before Lucario landed any attack on him, there was a slight flash. Lucario swung his staff as it landed a hit onto Absol’s side. Lucario chased the Absol as it was using Quick Attack to create some distance between them. With that, Absol was able to focus as Lucario’s speed was lowered due to the snowy terrain. Absol then striked back as Lucario was launched back but did a backflip. He kept looking back at Ulla making sure she wasn’t freezing in this weather. ”Lucario Close Combat go!” Lucario dashed forward to attack but before he could, he felt a sharp pain as he fell in the snow. ”Lucario?!” Absol looked happy that his attack from earlier worked. Earlier, he used Future Sight. Absol’s black horn then started glowing as several Night Slashes hit Lucario. Lucario was now buried in the snow as he tried to get up. ”Lucario! Don’t worry I got you buddy!” Ulla started running towards Lucario as the Absol noticed this as he started heading towards their direction. ”Ulla!” Leon shouted as Ulla noticed the Absol as she held out her arms in front of Lucario so Absol wouldn’t pass through. Lucario noticed this as he jumped out of the snow with a Aura Sphere prepared as he launched it behind Ulla as it passed by her face. It landed a direct hit to Absol as Lucario got close to Absol and finished him with Close Combat. Absol knelt down in pain as he admitted defeat. He looked at Lucario and spoke to him in Pokespeak as he looked in a certain direction. ”Lucario!” Ulla ran towards Lucario and Absol. ”Lucario are you alright?” Lucario nodded as he started walking towards a tree and noticed another Time Plant. Lucario touched it as another memory was playing. Leon and Pyroar walked over to them as they were inside another memory of the past.

”Force Palm Lucario!” Taka’s Lucario focused a ball of aura to his hand as he slammed it against an Absol as it flew back. Absol was weakened as he was limping as he surrendered and ran off. ”Way to go you two! Now can we please get to somewhere it’s warm? It’s starting to get too cold.” Nagi said as she was shivering like crazy behind Taka. ”I told you, you could’ve stayed home.” ”And miss out on coming here?! Not a chance.” The woman said as she was looking around. ”Isn’t it amazing? All of the beauty, and it’s all for the Pokemon.” She said with a warm smile. One day, when Ulla is old enough. I want to bring her here. Have her feel what fresh snow is like.” Ulla stayed quiet as she was listening to her mother’s voice speak about the future. ”If you only knew mom…” ”Hm? Nagi, where’s your Key Stone?” Taka realized Nagi didn’t have her Key Stone on her. Nagi didn’t seem surprised as she gave a soft smile. ”I gave it to Leon.” ”Oh? But what about you and your Gardevoir?” ”...I gave it to Leon. Because, I want to be their for my children. My family is my whole world now. Being a Channeler, especially a Fairy Channeler. We aren’t really affected by time. But with my children, I see them growing up so fast. Just yesterday I thought I just had Leon...but now I have Ulla.” Nagi started rubbing her belly, remembering when she gave birth to Ulla. ”...I understand. Being parents, it’s life changing. I think I know what your saying. Maybe, when this is over. I’ll retire from Aether, that way we can both be there for our children.” ”Master, I think I found a place for us this way.” Lucario said as he pointed at the direction. ”Perfect! Let’s get going!” Before they headed up the mountain, Taka noticed the Time Plant. ”Lucario, is that what I think it is?” ”Hm? Yes Master. It’s a Time Plant.” Soon enough, the memory dissipated.

Absol bowed to the group as he started walking away. ”....I’m guessing he also fought dad.” ”Or it could’ve been someone before him.” Before they could keep talking, Lucario noticed something wrong with Ulla as she wasn’t really moving. Soon enough she fell to her knees as she was freezing as she was getting frostbite. Lucario quickly picked her up as Leon noticed this as he quickly jumped off Pyroar as Lucario handed Ulla to him. ”Dang it Ulla! I knew you should’ve stuck to Pyroar!” Leon took off his coat and wrapped her up in his as he put Ulla on Pyroar. He moved Pyroar’s mane around that way Ulla would be covered with it. Leon then looked at Lucario. ”Lead us to where dad’s Lucario led them!” Lucario nodded as he closed his eyes to get a better feel for what they were talking about. He then picked up something as he started running towards it. Leon hopped onto Pyroar as they stared following Lucario’s lead.

Lucario led them to a cave as the snow started coming even harder with wind. Pyroar was able to get out of the terrible weather before it picked up as Leon hopped off of his lion. He sighed of relief as he checked on Ulla as she wasn’t too bad now, but was still pretty cold. ”Let’s go a little deeper into the cave. That way we can avoid the cold.” They went into the cave a little deeper as they finally settled down, letting everyone warm up a little bit. Pyroar was fast asleep as everyone was leaning against him for his warm body. ”...B-Big brother…?” Ulla started to wake up as she looked around, she noticed Leon was right next to her as Lucario was against Pyroar’s face. Leon looked over to Ulla as she crawled out of Pyroar’s mane as she gave back Leon’s jacket. ”You surprised me, you are sticking next to Pyroar for now. Understand?” Ulla nodded. ”Good…” ”...Hey. You heard what Mom said right? After that, she wanted to settle down with dad finally. So that means they weren’t doing something bad right?” ”Of course they wouldn’t. They were genuine good people….that doesn’t explain-” Before Leon could finish his sentence, he remembered he saw something in that memory. Before it faded, there was a figure in the distance. The figure was on lower ground compared to their parents. ”Big brother?” ”Huh? Oh sorry.” Ulla softly chuckled as she leaned against her brother. ”....You think….they are still alive?” ”....I don’t think so…” With that Ulla went quiet, Leon held out his arms to her as she hugged him as he rested his arms on her. ”You and Lucario should get some rest….we still have a ways away to go.”

After a couple of hours of rest, the group started moving up the mountain, but they were able to find a path that leads up the mountain thankful, but bad thing about it. It’s pretty dark inside and the floor was pretty slippery. Leon was walking carefully on the ice so he wouldn’t slip. He soon the slipped but then Pyroar caught him with his teeth as he helped him up. ”Thank you Pyroar. Ulla. You doing okay?” ”For the most part yes.” Ulla said as her and Lucario were a bit ahead of Leon and Pyroar. They were scaling up a steep hill of ice to get into another cave. Lucario looked back and helped Ulla up. As they proceeded Lucario looked back at the group and put his paw in front of his mouth to show to be quiet. He then pointed up towards the ceiling as there was a nest full of Zubat. Ulla was about to gasp at how many Zubats there were but Leon and Lucario quickly stopped her. They then started walking slowly past the group of sleeping Zubats. As they were walking, a curious Golbat was watching them as they were walking off. Soon enough the Golbat swooped down as Lucario jumped up and kicked it to the side as it was trying to grab Ulla. When the Golbat was kicked, it hit the wall as the ceiling shook. The Zubats started waking up one by one as they were looking around to see what woke them, but Ulla and the group were gone by that time and so was the Golbat. The group was running down a long hallway as the Golbat was chasing them. ”Ulla we aren’t going to out run this thing off of us so you better do something!” ”We are working on that! Leon pass by us! Lucario and I will stay behind!” Lucario quickly made a hard break as he was in front of the group as he quickly grabbed Ulla bridal style as he jumped high up that way he could jump over Leon and Pyroar. ”We will see you out of this!” He said as he kept running ahead. Ulla and Lucario watched them run off as Ulla looked back where the Golbat was. ”Lucario quick Bone Rush!’ She shouted as Lucario looked as well as the Golbat was coming at them with Poison Fang. The two were still in the air as Lucario held Ulla tighter close to him with one arm as Ulla held on tighter around his neck. With one free hand, he was able to make a Bone Staff as he made it spin in his hand as he smacked the Golbat downwards.

Both of them finally landed safely on ground as Ulla let go of Lucario as she gave him a warm smile. ”Thanks buddy.” Both of them looked at the Golbat as shook off any snow that got on it, it then cawed out as it used Air Cutter. ”Lucario dodge it!” Lucario swiftly dodged the slashes as best he could within these premises. They were still in a hallway where there wasn’t much leg room. Lucario jumped over each one except for one that hit his leg. It was super effective but he was now above the Golbat. ”Metal Claw!” Lucario’s claws started glowing as he scratched the Golbat right across the face. Golbat screeched in pain as it regain composure as it used Air Cutter once again. This time it was a direct hit as Lucario fell back as Ulla caught him before he hit the floor. ”You okay?” Lucario nodded as he then got another Bone Staff ready as Golbat used Acrobatics. It was moving side to side and all around them as Lucario stood infront of Ulla in a protective stance to try and predict where and when the Golbat would strike.

For now, Lucario grabbed Ulla’s arm and started running towards the exit. He kept his senses on high alert for the Golbat. As they were close to the exit Golbat appeared in front of them as he charged right at them. Lucario held his Bone Staff in front of them as he was about to attack. But then, his staff broke instantly in half as Golbat hit Lucario right at his stomach as Lucario lost his breath as he was launched back into Ulla. Both of them hit the wall as Ulla was coughing and gasping for air. ”L-Lucario?! You good?” She asked as Lucario wasn’t responding as she watched the Golbat started using SuperSonic. Ulla covered her ears. She then shook Lucario. ”Lucario please wake up!” She shouted as she looked up at the Golbat as she took out a Pokeball. ”Sorry Lucario. Dragonair go! Thunder Wave!” Dragonair popped out of the Pokeball Ulla threw as Dragonair then used Thunder Wave as a massive wave of electricity hit Golbat. It flew down as it was paralyzed. ”Ice Beam go!” Dragonair then launched an Ice Beam at it as it started to become frozen in a block of ice. Few moments later, Lucario started to become conscious as he looked around frantically to look for Ulla. He then saw the Golbat in a block of ice with Ulla and Dragonair standing in front of it. Lucario called out to both of them as they both turned around to see Lucario up, Ulla quickly hugged him. ”I’m so sorry Lucario! I know you wanted to beat this Golbat, but he was just so strong and you weren’t responding to me! I’m so sorry, I don’t know if I messed up the test but-” Both Lucario and Dragonair stopped her before beating herself up completely. Lucario understood as most of his attacks weren’t very effective against Golbat. As long as Ulla was safe, that’s all that mattered. Ulla simply smiled. ”As long you understand.”

Ulla returned Dragonair back into her Pokeball as they started heading toward the exit. When they reached the exit of the cave, they were once again outside. Luckily, there were no harsh winds, but it was extremely foggy. Ulla and Lucario looked all around for Leon and Pyroar. ”I can’t see anything with this fog. Lucario, can you feel their aura?” Lucario closed his eyes to feel for Pyroar’s and Leon’s aura. But he couldn’t locate them anywhere. He opened his eyes and shook his head. ”No luck huh…? Leoooonnn! Pyroar! Where are you?!” The little girl shouted. Her voice echoed out, it then grew silent. She then heard almost a whispering not too far by. Lucario tugged on her sleeve of her coat as he started leading the way. Once they got where they heard the noise, they found Leon and Pyroar. Crouched forward. ”...Big brother?” Leon was a bit startled as he looked behind him to see his younger sister. ”Hey. I found another one of those plants. Lucario can you?” Leon asked as he looked back at the flower. It looks like he’s been trying to making it open himself. Ulla looked a bit concerned for her brother, after all. He got to grow up with parents. ”....Leon. Are you sure you are fine?” ”Yes. Just please. Play it.” He said without even looking at the pair. Ulla and Lucario both looked at one another concerned, but. How could they say no. Lucario went down to the plant and placed his hands on it as it started glowing once again. This time it showed a different picture.
”Now that I put a little bit of my aura in it. Whoever sees it, they’ll be able to see this.” Taka’s Lucario said as he looked back at Nagi who was very interested in the plant. ”This is incredible! Is it possible to grow these? We could use this to store history!” ”I don’t think so. Just because someone that has a hold of aura, can even activate them.” The Hanabi’s parents were talking amongst themselves while the plant was seeing all of this. Nagi thought about it as she took a few steps back and stood up facing away from the flower. She was looking in the direction Ulla and Leon were, both of them were a bit shocked as their mother smiled. ”Hello children. How are you?” Bot of them froze where they were. Was this actually happening? ”...Mom-” ”Taka what are you doing there? Come over here!” Taka walked over to his wife. ”What on earth are you doing?” ”Making a video for the kids to see when we come with them! Come on say something.” ”Uhm...it’s a bit weird because we are facing a rock.” ”Just play along. Imagine them standing right there. Obviously, they will probably be older, so imagine them a bit taller.” She pointed where Leon and Ulla were standing. That sent a chill down their spine. Ulla kept her eyes locked on her parents as she grabbed Leon’s hand with her tiny one. Leon was looking the other way to hide his face from his sister.

”Okay. Hey kids. It’s Dad. How old are you now? Are you eating well? Are you….this is embarrassing.” ”Taka! Take this seriously!” Nagi pouted but then composed herself as she smiled. ”Alright. Alright. Ahem...Leon. I hope you sharpened up a little bit for Ulla. You may not know it. But she is going to depend on you; and you’ll depend on her.” Taka said a bit in a stern voice. Leon tightened his grip on Ulla’s hand. ”Your the older brother. Be sure to chase off anyone who tries to bully her. Be sure to protect her. Explore the world with her, show her what it’s like to grow up with Pokemon and family by her side. We are counting on you….you make me so proud son.” ”The same goes for me. Ulla, you are just only a few months old right now. But you are already so spunky, I can tell. Even when you were in my belly. I can’t wait to see what you’ll grow up to be. Your curiosity in everything is just so adorable. Try not to give your brother a hard time. I know he might be lazy sometimes, but always know. He loves you.” Nagi giggled ”He was so surprised when you were first born. He told all of his friends about you-” ”Dang it mom….even in a memory you are embarrassing.” The image was soon being cut out as they were able to see the Lucario sense something. The image then went away.

Both of them just stood there as Leon let go of Ulla’s hand and kept walking. ”Come on. I get the feeling Dad’s Lucario isn’t far now-” ”Big brother wait.” Leon stopped in his tracks, he didn’t look back at her. ”What.” ”....Big brother. If there’s something you want to get off your chest. You can tell me.” ”I’m fine. Let’s go before you freeze again.” He said blatantly as he kept walking. As he was walking, he kept his head down while Pyroar followed by his side a bit concerned himself. Leon then heard small, hurried footsteps behind him as he was then stopped with Ulla and Lucario blocking his way. ”...Ulla you are blocking me from walking.” ”Leon please talk to me. Ever since we saw that first plant, you’ve become more and more quiet. I want to hear what’s eating you up before we see Dad’s Lucar-” ”I SAID I’M FINE ULLA!” He shouted as it startled both Ulla and Lucario. It even scared Pyroar. ”Get moving. Or I’ll make you.” Leon said still not looking up, he just kept staring at the ground. Ulla stood there for a second as she started walking towards him. ”Pyroar Flamethrower.” Pyroar was shocked that he ordered him to use an attack against Ulla. He looked at Leon then to Ulla. Lucario was about to jump in front of Ulla but she reached her arm out to her partner to stop him as she kept walking forward. ”Pyroar I said Flamethrower…” Pyroar looked at Ulla as she shook her head. Ulla reached her arms out to her brother ready to hug him but then he quickly stopped her by extending his hand out and placing it on her head. ”Just...stop…” Leon grew quiet. Ulla frowned as she slapped her brother’s hand away and hugged him tightly. Leon just stood there not hugging her back, but then he knelt down to her height as he wrapped his arms around her. He then picked her up and started hugging her very tightly. ”L-Leon...this hurts…” ”I-I’m sorry...just hang in there for a little longer.”

After a little bit, Leon started sobbing making sure Ulla didn’t see as he cradled her head with one hand. ”Ulla...I miss mom and dad...when I found out the news...you and I were out in the yard. Budew was playing with you while I watched the two of you. Their funeral...all eyes were on us. Everybody wondering what would happen to you. I miss them so much...I hated them so much for leaving that day to get the Lucarionite….maybe that’s why Lucario never came home. I hated that this had to happen to us….I-I….I hated that mom and dad couldn’t see how we grew up.” That last part pulled some strings in Ulla as well. He then released Ulla from his grasp as she had tears in her eyes as well. He chuckled a bit to lighten the mood the best he could. ”Heh. Why are you crying now? Sorry. I was just remembering mom and dad.” He wiped her tears away as he wiped his own tears on his shoulder. ”I’m sorry. I worried you didn’t I? I should’ve said something sooner.” Ulla nodded as Leon ruffled her hair. It seemed some air cleared between them, as their bond grew deeper. Lucario was touched by this but sensed a strong aura closing in as he looked up to see a Aura Sphere being launched at the siblings. He quickly jumped up and kicked it to the side as it exploded and left a crater in a rock.

The siblings looked where the Aura Sphere came from as they saw it. Taka’s Lucario. Their father’s trusted Pokemon. Standing over them on a cliffside looking down on them. He jumped down to them as he landed in front of Ulla’s Lucario. When he landed, the ground under him was indented as his broken spike on his chest was visible to prove this was their father’s Lucario. The older and much larger Lucario scanned Ulla’s to see he was wearing the Lucarionite around him like a necklace as he looked at Ulla who had the Key Stone being worn like a necklace as well. ”....You two have grown up…” ”Lucario….what happened to mom and dad? How come they were missing for so long then were found dead? If you lived….what of the other Pokemon? Why didn’t you come home? Why did you leave the Lucarionite at our doorstep?” Leon asked all of these questions as the Totem Lucario approached the two. Ulla was amazed how big he was as Leon held her hand tightly as both of them were staring at the now Totem Lucario as he was staring at them. ”Your parents would have been so proud to see you two.” ”Lucario answer me! What happened to mom and dad?! They wouldn’t have just left us without a word.” Lucario drew his attention to Leon as he was very determined to get answers. He then pointed to Ulla’s Lucario. ”You are here for these two correct? To perfect Mega evolving? If they beat me, I’ll answer all of your questions. The whole truth.” Taka’s Lucario said as he started to walk to Ulla’s Lucario. ”...Fight me as Mega Lucario. That way I know you two are serious. If you for some reason break from it…you guys walk away empty handed. Are we clear?” Lucario looked at Ulla as she nodded very determined. ”Good answer.”

Ulla and Lucario were on one side of the snowy area as it was like a regular battlefield, just covered with snow and a few rugged edges to climb on. Totem Lucario was on the other side as Leon was in the center. He looked at Ulla as both of them nodded. ”Lucario Mega Evolve let’s go!” She shouted as she swiped her hand across her Key Stone as it started shining. Lucario’s Lucarionite started glowing as well as he turned into Mega Lucario. Their father’s Lucario looked at Ulla and Lucario as they were filled with determination. He couldn’t help but grin, as he thought of his time with their father. ”Let us begin.” He spoke as he was seen lunging forward then appearing infront of Mega Lucario. ”Lucario Bone Rush!” Lucario quickly stepped back as he summoned a long bone staff but Totem Lucario was not giving him any space to actually swing his bone staff as Totem Lucario actually grabbed it out of his hands as he jabbed Lucario in the stomach numerous times as he then swung downwards on his skull. Both Leon and Ulla were shocked at how fast that happened. ”He’s really fast.” ”Lucario you got this! We are counting on you!” Ulla shouted as Lucario growled as he was laying on the ground from that last blow. He grabbed Totem Lucario’s leg forward to make him trip. As he was falling backward, Lucario was able to use the to get up. He then let go of his leg then grabbed his arm so he would have a harder time of blocking as he was landing blows to his chest before knocking him upwards. Totem Lucario merely grinned. ”So. You want a fist fight? You got one.” Totem Lucario said as he was throwing punches as he was able to swiftly move around to confuse Lucario. Lucario couldn’t keep up as he was taking blow after blow. ”Lucario duck!” He then quickly bent down as he was able to dodge one swing from Totem Lucario. ”Shift left! Then swing! Duck again! Round house go!” Lucario was able to dodge all of them successfully and also land some nice blows thanks to his trainer. After every blow they either counter or landed, a small blast of aura would be coming from the punches or kicks. They then landed a blow on one another’s cheeks as it sent them skidding back. Totem Lucario was able to stop himself with digging his heels deeper into the ground, while Lucario had to use his hand to stop.

Both of them looked pretty exhausted, but Lucario was looking worse than the Totem. ”What’s wrong with Lucario?” ”We’ve reached our time limit. F-From here it’s all based on how much longer we can hold this form.” Ulla said as she was starting to feel a little nervous. Lucario and Ulla looked at each other reading each others emotion. ”What’s the matter? All out of tricks? Is this really the best the two of you can do?” Totem Lucario said as he started charging at the two again. ”Lucario we got this. Metal Claw!” Ulla shouted as Lucario dug his heels into the ground as he took the impact of Totem Lucario’s charge. He started sliding back, when he go the chance he would punch Totem Lucario with the Metal Claw but he felt a sharp pain in his side as he looked down. He saw Totem Lucario’s fist glowing as he used Force Palm. His legs couldn’t move as he was paralyzed as he fell to his knees. Lucario squinted in pain as Totem Lucario had an Aura Sphere as big as Lucario’s head in front of him. ”...You’re pathetic. You think you can protect your Master like this?” ”Ulla this isn’t good.” Lucario was staring at the Aura Sphere then at the Totem Pokemon

Obviously, there was a big difference in power. Especially in aura. Lucario closed his eyes as he started glowing as if he was going to revert to his natural form. ”LUCARIO DON’T YOU DARE GIVE UP!” Ulla shouted as Lucario quickly opened his eyes as the glowing stopped and looked back at his trainer. The little girl was gripping her Key Stone tightly to her heart. ”Don’t you dare give up. Not when we have so much more tricks.” Lucario stared at her for awhile as both Totem and her Lucario saw that Ulla’s aura flickered brightly. In turn, Lucario smiled. Totem Lucario notice a difference between before and now with Lucario’s aura. Totem quickly brought his arm back and was ready to slam it into his face. ”Aura Sphere Lucario!” She shouted as Lucario howled as an Aura Sphere came to his hand as it collided with the Totem Pokemons. An explosion happened as black smoke covered the area. The Totem Pokemon backed up as his ears were perked listening for his opponent. He heard crunching from the snow then it went silent again. He then heard something being thrown, wasn’t sure what it was until it came close to his face. A snowball. He punched it out of the way as Mega Lucario was now in his face with a Aura Sphere in hand. He then slammed it into the Totem’s chest as the broken spike on his chest cracked. The Totem quickly grabbed Lucario’s wrist and attempted to flip him. Lucario let him to tentionally flip him over but manuevered it so he wouldn’t be thrown off balance as he did a swift kick to his face. ”Bone Rush Lucario!” Lucario then quickly made two small bones as he spun it around his fingers as he started swinging repeatedly. The Totem also used Bone Rush but made his about the size of a sword as he swung it in a defensive manner. Lucario then threw one of his smaller bones at the Totem to divert his attention. The Totem quickly reacted by swinging the bone away but he fell right for their trap, ”Finish it with Close Combat!” Lucario then threw his other bone at the Totem to divert him once again as he was going for a finishing blow with a uppercut. The Totem saw this as he grabbed the Mega Lucaro’s fist quickly ”That’s enough!” He shouted. In that instant, when the Totem grabbed Lucario’s fist, Lucario saw something. He felt this Lucario’s pain for these many years he’s been on this mountain. He saw, what he had to go through. Mega Lucario quickly pulled his fist away and backed up with fear in his eyes. The Totem looked at him with sorrow. ”You saw...didn’t you? Through my aura?” Lucario nodded as he converted back in to his original form.

Ulla and Leon joined the two Aura Pokemon as they headed to a cave. It looked like the Totem Pokemon was staying here. There wasn’t much, but it showed someone was living here. Leon’s attention was caught onto a single photo that was hung on the walls. He stared at it, as it was his father, himself when he was probably only five years old, and his father’s Lucario. ”...That was the day you said you would beat your father and I with your own Pokemon.” ”How do you have this photo?” ”....Your father kept it with him always.” He said as he took a seat on the ground, Ulla’s Lucario took a seat right next to him as he had a worried look on his face. The Totem Pokemon merely averted making any sort of eye contact for now. ”Uhm..so did we pass?” The little girl asked as she sat next to her Lucario. Their father’s Lucario merely smiled. ”Yes. You and Lucario still have a lot to work on. But your display on planning was very well put. And your bond between one another is like any other. Brother, your aura is strong. Especially when you work with your trainer. Don’t ever lose hope when it feels like there’s no way out. Though it seems hard, there is always an opening.” Lucario nodded as he still felt uneasy. Leon was still looking around as he sighed. ”So. Our Lucario won. And like you said...you’ll answer all of our questions.” Lucario looked at the Totem Pokemon, begging him for mercy as he looked to Ulla pleading. ”Lucario what is it? What’s the matter?” ”What I’m about to show you...will answer all of your question on what happened to your parents. Where is the rest of their Pokemon are, why I never came home, and why I stayed here. Your Lucario wishes you not to see, as he felt my emotions during that time...are you sure you wish to see?” Ulla stayed quiet but then nodded. ”I need to know.” ”...Very well.”

Their father’s Lucario stepped out in the snow as he came back with a potted Time Flower. He then looked at Leon and Ulla. ”...This is your final warning...are you sure you want to know?” Both of them nodded, the Totem Pokemon sighed as he made the Time Flower open. Once it did, they would hear their mother’s screams. As they obtained the Lucarionite, they were ambushed. The parents were separated as someone covered their mouths with some cloth which made them fall unconscious. Their father’s Lucario was enraged as he transformed into Mega Lucario through his rage as he was attacking all of them to get away from Taka and Nagi. A Salamence then came out of nowhere as he slammed his tail into the Lucario which made him be slammed into a pointed rock as it broke the spike on his chest as he fell unconscious. The group left the Lucario there and only took their parents. Both of the siblings were shocked at this as Leon sat next to Ulla, but he picked her up as he made her sit on his lap as they watched. ”Mama...Papa…”

The Plant kept playing more and more as it showed their parents being tortured by this man named Ein. they were always bounded. Watching the other being in pain as they couldn’t do anything. Their Pokemon were taken away from them. This went on for weeks, with every different scene that would pop up, their parents looked worse and worse. With more visible bruising, burn marks, and even drugging. Leon tried to cover Ulla’s eyes numerous times but she would move her brother’s hands away.

It went dim for a moment as a new image came to light. It was their parents together in a cell with Nagi curled up whimpering and Taka trying to comfort her. It looked like several weeks have passed as their clothing was torn and dirtied. Both had significant signs of bruising and burned signs, even a few drugging marks. "I-It's okay Nagi. We will get home, and Leon and our new baby girl will be waiting for us." "I-It's already been....weeks....we have no idea what they did with our Pokemon...Leon and Ulla must be so scared....t-they've done so much to us...trying to open a portal to the Fairy realm...that has never been done....yet...they continue to experiment with me...I wanna go home....I want to see my children...my babies...my sweet Leon...a-and my innocent Ulla...." "Our Pokemon are safe I'm sure....If they tortured your Pokemon...you would've felt something....but seeing what they've done to you....I'm sure they are feeling the pain..." Soon enough, they heard someone approaching their cell. To their surprise, it was Lucario. Lucario looked pretty beat up as the sharp bone like piece on his chest was broken. "Lucario! Thank Arceus I am so glad to see you! Quick get us out-" Before he could finish his sentence, Ein appeared behind Lucario as he had a stun staff in his hand. He hit Lucario's leg as he fell to the ground being shocked.

"Lucario!" "Nagi. Come here." Nagi didn't respond as she held tighter to Taka. "Do not listen to this man! I can handle-" Before Lucario could say anything else, Ein turned up the voltage. "Nagi. You've left me no choice. Tell me where these portals are now....or this one dies first." Ein turned it up even more as Nagi stood up quickly. "That's enough!...Please....I'll tell you...just leave him alone..." She said as Ein sighed of relief and opened the cell door. Nagi approached the door as Taka tried to stop her but she merely looked back at him with an apologetic smile. Ein stopped the shocking as he smiled. "I'm so glad you finally agree. Now follow me to the-" Nagi then tripped Ein as she grabbed the staff from him. She looked at Lucario and Taka. "...I'm so sorry..." She then stabbed herself through the chest with the staff as she turned on the shock. She fell to the ground as she started to bleed out. Taka ran over to her side in utter shock. He looked at Ein who looked angry and was about to go mad. He quickly looked over to Lucario. "Lucario run." "But Master-" "I SAID GO! GO HOME! GET OUT OF HERE! MAKE SURE HOME IS SAFE!" Taka yelled out as he hugged Nagi tightly crying.

Lucario was frozen as he didn't know what to do. All he knew, was that he understood what he meant by 'home'. "...I understand..." Lucario then bolted out of there as Ein started landing blow after blow on Taka. Taking all of his frustration out on him. The image then faded as the flower closed up. Both of the Lucarios were looking down at the ground ashamed. ”...Now you know…” Both of the children were in shock. No. Shock wasn’t even enough to describe this emotion they were feeling. Their father’s Lucario quickly sat in front of them and bowed. ”I-I must apologize to the both of you...I-If I was stronger at the time….They could have been alive today...I stayed in these mountains...to keep you two safe...s-so Ein wouldn’t know you two existed..I would sometimes climb down this mountain to watch the two of you...but..n-never approached.....I left the Lucarionite with you two...because I knew. That it would be in better hands with you...I couldn’t save my Master...I-I couldn’t save Nagi...my friends...m-my comrades...I-I’m a failure. I’m so-” Suddenly, Lucario felt a small pressure on his head. He looked up to see that it was Ulla patting his head. ”I-It’s okay Lucario...you did all you could. M-Mama and Papa...would be happy that you were able to watch over us for so long...and for you to be all alone up here...a-after all y-you’ve been through…” ”...Young Master Ulla?” The aged Lucario sat up as he wiped a single tear from her face. The little girl held in her tears as she was whimpering. Her Lucario then stood up and patted her shoulder as he looked passed her to her brother. Leon had a very scary look on him, as he felt disgusted. He felt complete rage. For a single man, put his parents through numerous torture for so long. He tightened his fist, as he wanted that man dead. By any means necessary. He then snapped out of it as he heard both Lucario’s call out to him, he looked towards them as Ulla was holding in her tears. ”Come here.” He held out his arms to her as she quickly ran into his arms. She was silent at first but then the silence broke as she started crying. He hugged her even tighter as he was hurting as well deep down. Don’t worry Ulla….I’ll take down that man….for us. And for our parents. He thought as both Lucario’s looked at one another with concern.

Shortly after, they were down the mountain as Leon teleported them with the help of Claydol. He also explained to Totem Lucario who they were and what group they were a part of while Ulla was fast asleep in her brother’s arms. ”These people sound like good people all around. I’m glad you are with people that could care for the two of you.” The Totem Pokemon looked at Lucario and Leon. ”..Young Master Leon. Whatever you may be thinking. Please don’t do anything rash.” Leon was a bit caught off guard as his father’s Lucario said that. ”I don’t know what you are talking about.” ”Leon. I can feel your aura. So can Young Master Ulla’s Lucario. We can feel something stirring in you. Don’t let that cloud your judgement. Whatever you are thinking. Think about your sister first.” ”She’s all I ever think about. We need one another. I won’t ever admit it to her, but she’s been keeping me sane. Because she is something only I can relate to in this crazy world.” He said as he fixed himself so Ulla would be more comfortable. ”What are you going to do now? Why don’t you stay at our place now? We can leave you with some of our Pokemon to keep you company. That way someone could be always watching the house.” The Totem Pokemon shook his head. ”Even though you two don’t live there and only visit from time to time now. It’s still better for me to be here. And, I’m a Totem Pokemon. The Pokemon on the mountain stop by every once and awhile to keep me company. And also trainers as well to battle.” He said looking back at the mountain. ”Leon. Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable around your sister. You don’t need to always play the cool big brother.” He said, he was about to head up back the mountain then looked back. ”....I know you took it….what are you going to do with it?” The Totem Pokemon sounded more serious this time. Lucario looked at Leon as he knew what he took as well. In his bag, held the Time Flower with the scenes they just saw. ”...I’m going to show this to our leader. I’m gonna ask him to have me personally be there when we face Ein.” ”....Just like your father. He may have been a bit aloof. But he has the same look you do now when it was time to be serious.” He said as he walked off. Leon had a blank face, but his eyes were piercing as if they would cut through almost anyone. ”C’mon Lucario...let’s bring Ulla home.”

The Hanabi children teleported into the Pokemon Center closest to the Tricksters Home in the Hoen region. As they exited the building, Ulla was holding onto Leon’s hand. ”You are probably gonna have to do the talking to Mr.Trickster. He would probably think of you as a regular trainer. If I were to talk to him, he might think I’m with Team Magma.” Ulla nodded happily as she started skipping. ”...What’s gotten into you?” ”Just really happy to go on a mission with you.” Soon when they arrived close to the Trick Master, there was already a ton of Team Magma in front of the Trick Master’s doors. ”Trick Master! Open up!” ”If you want to get me, you are gonna have to go through the same thing everyone would!” He shouted through the door. Ulla and Leon watched this happen as Ulla wonders off to the side of the building without being seen. ”Ulla?” Leon followed her as the snuck to the side of the building. Ulla was able to notice a secret door to the side big enough for what looked like the Trickster could escape from. It was well hidden as it was behind several bushes. ”How did you know this was here?” ”Every trickster should have some sort of back up plan. And, no I didn’t know this was here. This was just a 100% guess from being in the Fairy Realm playing with the tricky Fairy Pokemon.” Both of them conversed quietly as Leon got the door to open as Ulla crawled in first. Leon then entered and made sure nobody else noticed them as he closed the door. Once they made it to the end, they were in a large dark room. There was some light from the emergency lights illuminating the place slightly. The sibling looked around as this was the maze room. Both were a bit amazed as they noticed a man shivering in a bit of fear in front of the maze, facing towards the door that Team Magma were trying to get in. Leon pushed Ulla forward a bit as she looked back at him a bit aggravated that he pushed her. But then she started walking to him slowly. ”Uhm. Excuse me? Trick-”

Ulla tugged on his shirt, as she did, the Trick Master screamed. Which in turn, made Ulla scream. Leon came over calmly as he put his hands in front of the Trickster and Ulla. ”Please the both of you. Be quiet.” The Trickster moved Leon’s hand away from his mouth as he trembled. ”H-How on earth did you two get in here?! I am the Master Trickster! The only way you could’ve gotten is through those same doors those darn Team Magma are trying to get through! N-Nevermind that! What do you w-want?!” He said in a panic as the banging on the doors became even louder. Ulla motioned him to calm down as she gave him a warm smile. ”Nice to meet you Mister Trickster. My name is Ulla and this is Leon and we are here to rescue you! Obviously, you are gonna need you to come with us.” The Trickster looked at Ulla’s expression as he started to calm down a bit. ”Rescue me? How? There is crowd of Team Magma outside those doors wanting me! Hired by the very own Hoen government! How do I know you aren’t hired by the Hoen Government?!” He said as he started to panic once again. ”Because if we were hired by the government. We would’ve stuffed you in a bag, Magma was hired to kidnap you. Seeing how you declined the government, they hired them to help by force.” Ulla then elbowed him on his side. ”He ahs a point though. We are asking you to come with us so we could protect you. We can deal with the Hoen Government later. So please we need to get out of here before-” Soon enough, an explosion was heard as one of the doors were broken. A flood of Team Magma grunts started coming in. The Trickster screamed as he started running off deep into his house. ”There’s the Trickster! Get him!” Some of the Team Magma grunts started chasing after the Trickster. ”Zubat use Swift!” A few Magma grunts were able to slip through as the Zubat popped out of his Pokeball and started spinning as a swarm of stars blocked the entrance the grunts were going to. ”How dare you! Poochyena come out!” The grunt threw a Pokeball out as a Poochyena popped out and started growling at Zubat.

Leon stood in front of Ulla in a protective manner, ”Ulla, get going. Track down the Trickster and get to him before Magma does. I’ll join you shortly.” Ulla nodded as she started running towards an entrance to the maze. ”Oh no you don’t! Poochyena Tackle!” Poochyena ran towards Ulla ready to tackle her. ”Wing Attack!” Zubat flew down to the Poochyena as Zubat started slapping it with his wing. Ulla looked back at Leon as he looked at her. ”I told you to get moving.” Ulla nodded as she pulled out a Pokeball as Dragonair came out of the Pokeball as her body slithered around the small girl. ”Be on the lookout for any of Team Magma grunts. We don’t want any of them following us if we find the exit to this crazy maze.” Dragonair nodded as they started running into the maze. Leon looked back at the Magma grunt with a mean look. ”Eyes on me grunt. Zubat Poison Fang.” ”Poochyena Shadow Ball!”

Ulla and Dragonair were running around to try and get out of the maze. Ulla noticed a particular door as she opened it and was about to run into it. But then she ran into a face full of wet sponge. She was about to fall backwards but Dragonair caught her. She got back to her feet as she scratched her head. ”I’m gonna go crazy if we can’t get out of here.” She said to Dragonair as she saw some Magma grunts pass by. A couple made a hard turn as they noticed Ulla as they started running towards her. ”Run Dragonair!” Ulla shouted as both of them started running in the opposite direction. After a short while, they were cornered in a dead end. ”Where did the brat go?” ”I think she went this way!” ”We just came from that way!’ Ulla looked around desperately ”Come on. Come on. Come on. TrickMaster, where are your secrets?” Ulla was pushing on the walls but then heard a clicking noise. She pushed the wall more as it was a secret passage. Dragonair noticed the Magma saw them find the secret wall as she started pushing Ulla out. As they made it out of the maze both of them looked back. ”Ice Beam Dragonair!” Ulla shouted as Dragonair started blocking the wall with ice so it wouldn’t turn. Loud thuds could be heard on the other side as it sounded like the grunts were pounding their fist at it trying to break. ”Sorry Leon. Looks like you are gonna have to find another way out.” Ulla and Dragonair started running towards the next part of the Trickster’s insane house.

”Game over. Venoshock Zubat.” Zubat started flying around Poochyena as the bat himself started turning slight purple. Waves of purple started flying at Poochyena as it was it numerous times. Poochyena was able to stay on his feet, but if anyone were to look at him, he was purple from head to toe. Poochyena was swaying back and forth as it finally fell over unconscious. The Magma grunt recalled his Pokemon as he ran off. With that, Zubat then perched himself on Leon’s shoulder. ”Tired?” Zubat shook his head. ”Good, let’s go catch up with Ulla now.” Leon put his hands in his pockets as he started walking through the maze. As he walking through the maze, he heard a ton of commotion from different grunts trying to find the way out. He overheard about some kid freezing over the only known exit to this madhouse as he assumed they were talking about Ulla. Leon then was able to see what the grunts were talking about when he saw a wall covered in ice. It looked like chips of ice were broken off and melted off but the ice was just too thick to melt through. ”...I should probably thankful that none of the Magma grunts have strong Fire types right now….Pyroar Flamethrower.” As the lion started using FlameThrower on the wall, the Trickster was half on a wall looking at Leon. ”I’m surprised you were able to get through this without any trouble.” Leon was a bit startled by his sudden appearance. ”I thought you were further ahead? ”Did you forget who’s home you are in? I can be here-” He fell down on the opposite side of the wall. He then appeared at a door that was across from Leon. ”I can be here.” Leon sighed as he looked around. ”If you are such a trickster. Why haven’t you just left us all here? You could’ve been long gone.” Leon said in disbelief that he was really still here. The Trickster was silent then he spoke. ”If I were to escape. Where would I go? I like to have my fun. Hoen Government wants to use my fun, for war. I refused. And they are now recruiting me by force. If I run away or go with them, I’m still a prisoner. Least with you guys, I hope at least. I can still have my fun. The little one made me believe in that.” He said as he heard his name being called as both of them looked back as a couple of grunts saw them. By this time, Pyroar already took care of the secret door. ”I guess I’ll see you later Leon!” He then closed the door, Leon was shocked as he did as he opened the door the Trickster came from. There was nobody there, in fact. It was now a brick wall. ”Trickster your making this harder than it has to be!” Leon then hopped on to Pyroar as they now advance to the next level as well with a few Magma grunts following.

The next level was a big waterfall as you had to cross on logs. ”Dragonair Extreme Speed!” Ulla and Dragonair were still on a log to get across to the other side as a Magma grunt is on solid ground with his Numel. The grunt tried to attack them from behind but Dragonair spotted them really quickly. Numel took fatal damage as he fell unconscious as the grunt recalled his Pokemon and started running away. Ulla sighed of relief as she was finally able to be on solid land. Her work wasn’t done yet as she had to push the logs down so nobody could pass. Lucario and Dratix popped out of their Pokeballs as they watched Ulla and Dragonair push several logs down. They both looked at one another and nodded as they started helping. ”You are going to get a splinter.” Ulla screamed as she looked behind her as the Master Trickster was leaning against the wall to the entrance of the next maze. ”I’m so glad you are safe! Once Leon gets here, we can leave this place and Magma won’t know a thing!”[/coor] ”....How do I know you guys won’t use me?” Ulla stopped her pushing as Dragonair was able to do it herself. She turned to face the Trickster, ”I won’t lie to you. We’ve done some pretty bad stuff. But, we’ve done it all to protect our home. We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future.” Both of them stood their quiet as they heard running from the other side. Ulla looked at the Trick Master as he merely nodded as he ran into the next maze.

Ulla returned her Pokemon except for Dragonair who whipped her Pokeball back at Ulla. The little girl caught the dragon’s Pokeball as she merely smiled. ”...Want to see this to the end?” Dragonair didn’t respond as she merely looked back towards where they came from. Ulla and Dragonair were able to hear battling as they were finally able to get a picture out as a large flamethrower wa heading towards them. Both of them ducked until they were no longer in danger. They peeked as they saw Leon riding Pyroar from down the hallway. Ulla popped out from hiding as she waved towards Leon. ”Ulla tip the bridge now!” Leon shouted as more Magma grunts started to show up. Ulla and Dragonair started pushing the last log to cross down as it was about to tip. ”You better move now!” Leon and Pyroar jumped on the log as it was falling then jumped again onto the other side where Ulla and Dragonair were. All of them watched as the grunts were standing on the other side dumbfounded unsure what to do. Leon ruffled Ulla’s hair proud she was able to push off the large log in time. But that small victory ended as two Mightyena were able to jump across as their trainers were surprisingly able to as well. ”Hand over the Trick Master!” ”Or prepare to face defeat!” The sibling looked at each other as they just slightly smiled at one another. ”Not a chance.” ”Hope you are ready to face more than just defeat.”

”Mightyena Shadow Ball! ”You too Mightyena!” Both of the dog Pokemon launched Shadow Balls as Zubat and Dragonair were able to evade it easily. ”Dragonair Twister!” ”Poison Fang.” Dragonair started off as two medium size tornadoes formed next to her as she launched them at both Mightyenas. Zubat was able to maneuver around as he bit one of the Mightyena as it was soon injected with poison. ”Bite that Zubat with Fire Fang!’ ”Sand Attack on Dragonair!” Mightyena that had Zubat on them was trying to bite back with Fire Fang but couldn’t reach it as it kept moving around. The other one then ran up to Dragonair as it looked like it was about to kick her but faked it and and sweeped the ground in front of her as the sand got into her eyes. Dragonair tried wiping the sand out of her eyes but she was really furious that a mutt did this to her. She started using Ice Beam all over trying to remember where the Mightyena’s were. Leon grabbed Ulla quickly as he made both of them fell backward so they wouldn’t get hit by the Ice Beam. They couldn’t say the same thing for the Magma grunts as they were half frozen. Ulla and Leon got back up, ”Mind calming down your dragon?”

Ulla was about to go calm Dragonair down but then saw Leon’s Zubat be flung of by the Mightyena they were hanging on to. Ulla quickly catch Zubat as she sighed of relief. ”Shadow Ball!” One of the Mightyena launched a Shadow Ball at Zubat and Ulla. ”Ulla!” ”Dragonair!” Dragonair quickly heard Ulla’s cry out for her as she quickly stood infront of her. ”Extreme Speed Dragonair!” Dragonair quickly launched herself at the Mightyena that sent the Shadow Ball at them. ”Zubat Swift!” Leon shouted as the Zubat broke free from Ulla’s grasp and used Swift to redirect the Shadow Ball. When Dragonair was in front of the Mightyena, she charged with her full body weight as she sent the Mightyena into the other one, also their trainers. ”Once again Dragonair! Extreme Speed!” Dragonair did it once more as she pushed the grunts and their Pokemon over the ledge as they fell into the waterfall. Leon and Ulla sighed of relief as it was over. Dragonair calmly slithered over to where she last heard Ulla as she bowed down to help get rid of the sand in her eyes. ”I’ll get that right out.” She grabbed a tissue from her bag and started wiping her face of the sand. ”....Ulla. I’m sorry but we are gonna have to go.” Leon said as he approached the obht of them. He pointed towards the other side as more and more Team Magma grunts started showing up. They started trying to grab one of the logs in order to make it go to the other side. Ulla watched for a little bit as her and Leon recalled both of their Pokemons to their Pokeballs. Leon grabbed Ulla’s hand as they started heading to the next level of this crazy house.

As they made it to the next level, it was just a plane room which the ground was made of dirt. The Trick Master was in front of the part where the tile would change into dirt. ”Glad you guys could make it. Follow me. Exactly as I walk. Understand?” He said with a big goofy smile as he started walking towards the end of the room. He was zig-zagging, swirling around several parts, even jumping over to one side to another. Leon looked at him as if he was crazy, but asked no questions and did as he was told. When they finally made it to the other side, Magma grunts made it. ”There they are!” ”Oh no! Team Magma! What on earth will we do!? All of our Pokemon are too tired to do anything!” The siblings looked at him strangely as Magma knew he was taunting them as they started charging at them. Ulla and Leon were about to throw out their Pokeballs but then, All of the Team Magma grunts fell into holes that were covered up. Both of them were impressed as none of them were able to make it to them. ”That was amazing!” ”Amazing? That was my simplest trick yet!” Ulla and the Trick Master shared a few laughs as Leon just groaned as he sat down on the ground. ”Great. We got the Trick Master. Now. Can we please go home?” ”Oh yeah! Just one thing.” Ulla pulled out a blindfold from her bag and held it out for the Trick Master. ”Please wear this. We can’t reveal our own Trick House now can we?” Ulla smiled warmly as Trick Master grabbed it. ”I can respect that.” Leon was about to have all of them teleport back to HQ but then Ulla stepped back. ”...You're not coming back?” She shook her head. ”I need to head back to the Fairy Realm. Togekiss is waiting for me there.” Leon just stood there for a second and sighed. ”At least stop by to show you are okay.” ”Wish I could. But the longer I take, the closer Ein and Team Cipher are getting there. I need to prepare for when that happens.” Soon enough, Ulla teleported back to where the big tree was to continue her fairy training. Leon sighed as he teleported back to HQ.
