Lailah sighed as she looked out at the twilight skies that adorned the top of the world of Below. If there was one thing that she wanted to see, it was sunny skies that she had sometimes read about in books. Wouldn't that be interesting?

Instead though, she was stuck here in the academy for now, waiting to finish her classes and grow up, trying to figure out what she wanted to do. Unfortunately for someone like her, she couldn't really keep her mind on one thing at a time. What did she want to do? Photography? Write stories? A professional puzzle completionist? The possibilities were just endless to her! And she was only a freshman! She figured that there would be plenty of time to figure out what she wanted to do when she was a bit older. After all, she would have to go from Junior to Senior and still have to graduate at that point.

However, it seemed that the teachers really wanted to push the freshlings into a role that they weren't even sure they wanted to do yet. It seemed a bit unfair. She had heard that even those in college didn't know what they wanted to do sometimes.

She couldn't do anything about it though. That's why she was stuck here, having to write about what she wanted to be when she grew up. She could only write the truth however.

"I'm not sure what I want to be when I grow up, after all, there are so many possible things that I could be and there are many things I'm interested in! I can't focus on just one yet!" She wrote, conveniently forgetting to put that she was easily distracted. "Once I get a bit older and have to think about it more, then I'm sure I'll be able to come up with something. For now though, I'm focusing more on becoming a writer if possible. And if not a photographer of nature." And with that she was finished, and handed her paper to the teacher, before she toddled off to her dorm room for a nap.
