 Cyril lingered at the edge of the cafeteria. He was hungry, but didn't want to brave the crowd yet. Especially since he didn't know what he actually wanted to eat. Truth be told, there weren't really that many nightmares getting food night now. Most of the mob had descended on the cafeteria and then moved en masse to the door outside. Gaze flicking throughout the room, he sidled closer to the wall as yet another group pushed past to leave. There was a handful of freshlings, a table of juniors, and a scattering of seniors left. Seemed like now would be the best time to head over if he wanted to get something with enough time to actually eat it.
Fidgeting with the edge of his shirt, biting his lip, he glanced through the room one last time. Nobody seemed to be taking any special notice of him.The last couple nightmares in line finished up their orders and left and he gathered up the courage to make a break for it. Sticking to the edge of the room, he made his way towards the closest line. He'd see what was left and pick from there. Most of the time it was the least desirable things from the menu, but occasionally he got lucky.
