Personality: Sam is not that fond of people and prefers to spend time working on something or studying new things as her social skills aren't that good. However she might be a tad bit talkative when it comes to technology, mostly the things she has theorized or just learned. She has the habit of getting carried away with her explanations, only to simplify it halfway when she notices the other party doesn't understand her terms. At times she might sound rude or blunt but, in reality, she is just brutally honest and extremely rational. She dislikes when others pretend to know more than they actually do but doesn't particularly dislike people who simply lack knowledge.
Biography: Born in a family with many children, she experienced difficulties during her childhood. However, as she was the youngest child, when the elder siblings reached ages where they could work, life became easier for her and her curiosity started to manifest. Because she was left to her own devices, she often disassembled toys of her older brothers to find out how they worked. Anything that had a mechanism she couldn't understand was carefully studied by her during the times she was not being watched by her parents or an older sibling. Of course, she was able to revert them to their original states once she was done, making sure that her actions were not discovered. When she turned fifteen, the girl was able to invent simple toys that would serve as a source of income for her, allowing Sam to help her family. However, her older siblings tried to take advantage of her and steal her profits by fooling her. Luckily she knew how her older siblings could be selfish and cunning. When they were about to attempt to make her invent things for them to "manage" the sales, she announced to her family that she'd be leaving to travel on her own and escaped the scheme of her brothers by giving the excuse that she wanted to open her own workshop somewhere in the Grand Line.
