[PRP] Meat and greet (Businge x Argyros)

Businge was new to the council but she had been a member of the pride since she was a tiny cub. She loved the pride land it had become her home in every sense of the word and she loved that her mother had come to live here instead of living in the rouge lands. Businge wasn't very happy right now though she felt the tension in the pride. She wasn't sure how many members knew about the murder and about the missing member but she felt like she needed to do something to ease the fears of her pride, her home.

So Businge had the hunters bring meat to the center of the pride and set up a lovely meat and greet for the pride. Welcoming everyone to this little party. She also hoped she would hear some things from her fellow pride members so she could gauge how they felt in this time. Businge wanted to be the best council member she could be. So part of that was being there for those not in the council. Listening to the members of the pride, their problems, their fears. She had her own fears. The fear that they would find the female dead. The fear that she would fail as a council member.

Businge smiled shyly at the male and she nodded and then said: "Yes it feels strange at times to think about the sun and rain will continue to come and the grass will grow even when something terrible happens, but that is the circle of life.." She said softly. "I'm Businge one of the council members.." She said in a soft tone. "You're welcome to join me to eat." She said doing her best to look him in the eye to be polite though it was hard for her. Businge had never done well talking with males they always made her nervous. "This was supposed to be an open meet and greet but I'm not sure if anyone else will come. Things are tense these days." She said softly.

"That is very true." She said in her soft tone. Businge didn't know the family directly either. She had only recently been appointed to the council. She had grown up in the pride raised by her mother who had been a rouge. She couldn't imagine how the female who was lost felt right now. Businge would be heartbroken and lost without her mother. Businge gave him a shy smile, she still didn't have his name but that was alright. "No it's alright the meat is here so you are welcome to stay, I'm sure no matter what the meat won't go to waste someone will eat it before it goes bad." She looked around and then said "It's alright if that doesn't happen, thank you for coming." She said in a nice tone.

Businge smiled and nodded "And your welcome to take some home with you if you like." She then leaned down and took a piece for herself. She wasn't harsh or greedy with her movements. She sighed and thought on the matter. "I think so much about it, we had a meeting I can't tell you much about it since we of the council decided that wasn't what was best for the pride, but we will figure this matter out I assure you." She looked up at him and looked at him seriously "Have you heard anything from the other members how they are feeling in these dangerous times?"

Businge nodded "It has certainly been shocking, it's easy to forget that life can be destroyed so easily when we have so much peace and prosperity in the pride lands. I know it's foolish, but I guess it just hurts my heart that a member of our pride is dead and another is missing." She said softly
