And then it was gone. The leaf was in the wind now, and both cubs were moving to chase after it instead of the fireflies. Didiji giggled as she lept, trying to catch it in her mouth by the step so there'd be few holes in the actual flat of the leave.
"Come back, leaf, we need you!" She had missed, and twisted herself so she didn't land on her side. However, one of her feet trailed behind the rest and Didiji tripped up over herself and she went down in with a squeak and a pile of dust from the earth. "Get the leafe! We need that!"
