Mithra stretched as she laid out in the park. She wasn't really doing anything in particular at the moment, other than relaxing, but she just couldn't help but enjoy the weather. It was now finally, FINALLY spring, and today had been a day without the showers to boot! Of course, that meant she was out much more often and on patrol more often, even if she didn't get as much energy.

Luckily though, it seemed as though spring brought plenty of other people out, and so she was always able to gather enough. Currently she was powered because she had just let her wraith go around to gather some energy, and was just waiting for it to get back to her when it was finally complete. Though if any Negaverse agents were around and decided they wanted to start something she would be more than happy to punch them if need be. She still hadn't gotten over what they had done at that circus.

Suddenly though, she had the familiar feeling of another aura. Not a Negaverse agent, but a White Moon senshi. She snorted. She wasn't going to move. If they wanted to do something then they would have to come to her.

There was a funky aura off in the distance. Not quite the kind of aura that Cor Caroli was seeking out right now; he was looking for a more traditional Chaos aura than this one. In fact, it took him a bit to remember that this was the way a Dark Mirror senshi's aura felt. He didn't seem to encounter them quite so often, so this was something of a surprise. Well, approaching couldn't cause that much harm, right? About 100% less threat of starseed yankage than dealing with the Negaverse.

So, letting his curiosity win the battle, Cor decided to approach the Dark Mirror senshi in the park. Surely, a Dark Mirror could provide some interesting information, too. He whistled a little as he approached, not being subtle at all (as though the aura wouldn't be a tip off anyway). "Nice night to be a senshi, right? Any kind of senshi, that is," he called out.

Mithra didn't move as the aura still approached, and it wasn't until the other senshi started to talk that she sat up and actually looked at him. He didn't seem... too threatening. But they never did really. So she coudln't underestimate him just in case he did decide to attack. But so far, the conversation was casual, and she didn't feel like punching him... too much.

She smirked. "A lot better than being an agent or a knight. I'd hate to have to rely on something external to help me." She loved, loved the fact that her powers enhance her punches. It was like she was specifically born for this. Well, from what she had learned she technically was but still. And she had an outfit that looked a lot nicer that quite a few other senshi too. And it was warmer in the winter.

Lazy Dark Mirror was lazy. No movement, barely registered his presence until he spoke, and even then seemed to be on standby. A flash of sadness passed through Cor Caroli's mind as he realized that this Dark Mirror senshi would have been a sitting duck for any other White Moon senshi with less restraint. Then again, maybe she was capable of getting off standby fairly quickly. Who knew? Cor wasn't going to push it.

Cor gave a short chuckle. "'Something external,' huh? Yeah, sounds about right. I mean, every powered person gets a boost to strength and speed and stuff, but Knights have to hold their weapons to use magic. Kind of limiting, right? And agents, well... Lieutenants tend to get screwed over by their joke weapons a lot. I feel kind of bad for them, I guess." He shifted his weight, contemplating sitting down next to the Dark Mirror, but he didn't want to be too exposed in case she changed her mind. "So, what were you doing? Just enjoying being one of Destiny City's powered people, or...?"

Mithra laughed as she thought about some of the weapons those poor lieutenants had. At least as senshi they had some basic magic, which was better than some of the stuff that she had seen. "I don't feel bad for them though, unless they've been forced into all of it. They seem eager enough to do whatever is wanted of them anyway." She could hear the disgust in her voice. The circus incident had incinerated any good thoughts she had left about the Negaverse and their agents, and she was glad that she couldn't count herself among them.

She lazily waved her hand around. "My wraith is currently collecting energy as we speak. Though, if you do try to go after it, I will have to stop you." She was smiling, but her tone was serious. She wouldn't let him interrupt, because energy stealing was 'bad' and that as a White Moon senshi he would have a 'duty' to stop her.

She may collect energy, but it was nothing like what the Negaverse did.

Cor Caroli nodded, listening to Mithra go on about her stance on those poor Negaverse suckers. "You don't sound too happy with them. Aren't you guys supposed to be allies with the Negaverse, or something? Or are they kind of fair-weather friends?" He paused, taking a look over his shoulder at the mention of the wraith, as though he expected it to be flitting around somewhere nearby. "Eh. One little wraith in a big city like Destiny City would be too much trouble to find. A Negaverse agent at least has an aura. ...Do your wraith things have auras?" He wasn't extremely bothered. He'd heard whispers that the Dark Mirror Court was more Order-friendly these days, though he wasn't quite sure how solid those whispers really were.

Mithra sighed. "One would think. But from what I've heard and experienced, I understand why we aren't aligned with them. Apparently they, along with some of the White moon, attacked us a while ago. Though that was before my time. However, and maybe you haven't heard about this, but there was that fake circus even that happened that was all a Negaverse plot. Unfortunately I got caught up in it. Hard to forgive them for that once you saw what they did there." And it was not pretty. It was disgusting to see that General eat all of those starseeds at once, and having to kill the captain and lieutenant along with the two youma. However, even some of their own agents had been victims. "But it seems as though that was an attack on everyone. As long as they went, it seems that the Negaverse didn't care if they were hurting their own agents." She made a disgusted face and then shook her head, as if she was trying to whip the images out of her brain.

She shrugged. "I don't know. Either it's so close to mine that I just can't tell that it has an aura, or it doesn't and it can only be tracked by the Dark Mirror senshi who sent it out, but either way, I couldn't answer your question fully." She didn't really care about giving him that information. Wraiths couldn't go too far from their senshi, and they weren't meant to be used for fighting either.

She didn't really care about fighting the White Moon too much. She just couldn't resist a battle if someone wanted to fight her.

"The circus thing?" Cor Caroli felt a pang of panic go through his heart. "Oh, yeah. I remember that, kind of. All I wanted was to find my wheel, haha..." The laugh came out exceedingly awkward, and he scratched the back of his head. "I didn't snap out of the circus persona thing still a bit later than everyone else, I think. That was definitely a nasty series of events, though. The way that guy popped those starseeds like literal candy... yikes. Just thinking about it gives me the gibbers." Indeed, he gave a visible shudder at the thought. That guy's behavior wasn't natural at all. "That's kind of weird, now that I think about it. I'm hoping they were some kind of Negaverse lunatic fringe or something, and that they're not always that willing to literally cannibalize their own like that."

When the topic switched to the wraiths, Cor might have let a small sigh of relief escape. "Well, an educated guess is better than nothing. And it still tells me that I probably wouldn't be able to find your wraith, so." This time, he sighed more audibly and put his hands behind his head. "You know, I don't think I got your name. Super Sailor Cor Caroli, Senshi of Will and all-around defensive magic guy, at your service." His manners prodded him to extend a hand for a handshake, but a sitting-to-standing handshake was kind of awkward sometimes.

"I snapped out of it... as quickly as I could. I was already feeling like I needed to punch something and the feeling of it being 'off' just kept following me through the whole thing. The General was awful. You're right, it was like the starseeds were candy to him. It was sick." She only wished the Negaverse was like Cor Caroli had hoped, that the more crazy ones were fringes but... She shook her head. "I wish. It seems that it's only a few of them that aren't crazy. From what I've been told, they've been involved a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if they were behind the spider thing last October." Or at least she had only learned about that from her boyfriend who had told her that he and his little brother had gotten caught up in the mess.

She did not like spiders.

And at least the senshi decided he wouldn't be going after her wraith. It was good that he did, otherwise Mithra would have to punch him. She smirked at him. "Mithra, Super Dark Mirror Senshi of Mantis Shrimp. I bet you can guess what my powers are all about." She replied, letting him figure it out for himself. If not, he could always go and look up what Mantis Shrimp did on the internet.

But it was punching. It was so nice to have the punching power. She stood up and stretched, sensing that her wraith was almost done collecting all of the energy that it could.

"Spider thing?" Oh, geez. Cor must have been super self-absorbed at the time. How the heck hadn't he heard of this? "Care to explain? In case you're wondering, yes, I was living under a rock at the time." That was the only explanation that made a lick of sense to him. When Mithra introduced herself, he made a thoughtful noise. "Mantis shrimp, huh? Aren't those the things with the ability to basically rip your thumbs open if you don't hold them right? They either stab you or they smash you. Looks like you won the offensive power roulette!" Stabby or smashy powers sounded awesome, but also like a lot of responsibility. Being the team's main damage dealer sounded like a lot of pressure, particularly if glass cannon tendencies abounded.

Mithra laughed a bit, though it was more at Cor's explanation of why he hadn't heard of it rather than him not having heard of it. After all, the Negaverse apparently controlled the media, it was very easy for them to keep the spiders out of the news. Of course, they mostly just blamed it on visions that the people there had so... whatever.

"It was in October and they had some party going on and my boyfriend and his brother went and apparently the electricity went out and then spiders smashed through the ceiling and they had to flee to the maze. However, it seems that was all covered up, even though it's hard to explain all of the damage and the multiple witnesses." She shrugged. If people were going to be dumb enough to believe whatever the news told them, then that was their problem.

She nodded. "Yeah, it's pretty nice. I basically get to punch whatever I want. But, that does leave me pretty vulnerable, which is why I do try to go out with teammates for a battle. But if it's just against regular civilians, then there isn't a problem. And before you think I go after just anyone," She gave him a bit of a glare while saying that. "I go after a-holes who won't leave women alone. It's kind of nice to be able to punch them out." She didn't really care if he agreed with her or not, she wouldn't stop anyways.

Cor couldn't help but chuckle at the rapid-fire explanation. "That sounds wild. But you know what? How can you explain half the stuff that goes on in this crazy city? Maybe it's a good thing it got covered up, because the Negaverse covering their tracks sometimes covers other factions up in the process, too. Either that or they blame it on the White Moon, but it looks like we got lucky this time, sorta."

The second half of what Mithra said gave Cor pause, however. "Wait wait wait. Hold up. You use that super glass cannon punching power against normal civilians? Isn't that kind of extreme? Like, we already get a boost to speed and strength. Can't you just give those a-holes a normal punching out instead of a super punch out?" He made a disgruntled noise and scratched the back of his head. "How much force gets added on? I'm not gonna say you're wrong for taking justice into your own hands, but I think I have a right to worry if you're basically punching out someone's blood." Ah, the signature grey justice of being powered. Yes, the targets were justified, but was it really necessary to punch out ALL the blood?

"True. Perhaps it is best if they covered it up. I still don't like it though." She didn't tolerate lies that well, and the news clearly lying to their faces was some of the worst. She waved her hand in the air when Cor started to panic about her using her powers on civilians. "Oh no, I don't use my punches on civilians. My magic is only for going up against other magic individuals. It's just that while I'm powered, I get a lot more strength than just being a regular old female on the street. Even if I do have some muscle. They are easy targets for draining energy too."

Sheesh, she didn't want to kill someone, that would be ridiculous, and she would kill an ordinary civilian if she did use her powered up magic punches on them. Her boyfriend however was a different story, since he seemed to clean up after her...

She smirked. "My punches are hard enough on powered persons, I don't need to go that far with a jerk civilian."

"That's fair." The relief very obviously spread across Cor's face when he heard that Mithra wasn't punching out all the blood. "Whew, okay, good. You had me seriously worried for a second, there." He gave an awkward laugh and scratched the back of his head. "Y'know, from the sounds of it, you Dark Mirror guys have kind of a weird position in this fight. You've got people on both sides who love and hate you, and you kind of love and hate both sides back. I know someone who considers you guys pretty reliable, even if you're supposedly... filled with Chaos, or something." It was kind of a lopsided neutrality from the sounds of it. And it kind of irked Cor that these guys had to have Chaos in them. Why'd they have to be slathered in the Bad Stuff, too?

At this point, it seemed that Mithra's wraith was done collecting energy, and returned to her. She quickly dismissed it, before the senshi even thought about trying to possibly break it. She sighed. "Yeah, we do. I'm not really sure what our purpose is. I think it's different from the Negaverse, but not quite on the same path as the White Moon. Heck, I don't even thing our leaders know. At this point we just sort of exist." She replied, shrugging her shoulders lightly. It felt good to roll them. She could feel herself getting stiff.

"Apparently our powers come from chaos, so we do need to do energy collecting. Not sure why... It's not like we have a huge giant beef with anyone in particular." She rubbed her face a bit, trying to get some feeling back in it since it too felt a little stiff, even if she had been talking this whole time. "I wish we didn't? I'm not really sure what the point is, but we collect energy so our powers work and well, that's what we have to do." She didn't think she could go back to a regular civilian life after this, even if it did mean less chaos. She would have a hard time not being able to punch creeps in the face, only she wouldn't have as much power behind her anymore.

"It's good to hear we're reliable though. And I'm liking the White Moon a lot better than the Negaverse right now." At least the White Moon didn't set up freaking death traps.
