Inside You I Was Reborn *Padding could be heard, slinking along the dry grasses of the pride lands. It was sunny out and the skies that hung over pride rock seemed unless. Resting along side the water hole lay many types of birds; it was a good day to be out and about.
With a deep breath the female Maned Wolf softly trotted to the waters; her head held high. She was boosting about how lovely she looked today; her coat shimmered under the suns raze. Smirking to herself she would sit beside the water, eyeing the birds that passed her.*[[Night Dust! Good job today! ;o;!!]]

The charcoal hued wolf, sat under the shade of an old tree whose leaves and branches scattered about. He watched as the Pride Land pride did their hunts and their daily routines.
I wonder where Mufasa went off to... the wolf thought to himself. He scanned the savannah when something caught his eye. Another maned wolf with a strange assortment of fur coloring, almost impossible to miss if it were hiding. What...is that? His curiousity peeked and something urged to see it for himself.
He rose to his feet and trotted to the watering hole((What do you call those trees? They are everywhere in the savannahs but I have no clue what they are called o.O))

Lethrossen (Eee im quite happy, just started playing Maple Story and I got a maned wolf -motions toward sig- and im really excited about both.) "Wudje lookit that!" He stated to himself, it was a low whisper. He was creeping low to the ground, nosrtils flaring. Up ahead he could certainly smell birds. And finally he had come upon their hiding spot! Not ten feet in front of him!
"Yeeee'hah!" He shouts out as he's suddenly dashing into the chaos of the birds trying to fly off in every which direction, finding the enemy among them. He lept into the air, body twisting as he snapped at the last of them, landing with a thud and a slight stumble he laughed to himself, panting. He loved doing that!
Actually sometimes it was very easy to get near beasts that normally thought wolves a foe. Sure, his smell was that of a preditor but lots of times when the prey only spotted his front they thought him some kind of zebra. It was good for confusion, and he thanked the gods of hunt every day for that. Well.. every day he hunted, anyhow.
"Oy! Taj!" He suddenly called, slinking away from the grasses and toward the watering hole. He could see his friend from far away, but mostly because he knew what to look for. Her colors actually worked quite lovely in the dark. "Yeh should try yerself some bird springin', it's quite a blast. Anyee'oo I think Im 'bout ready fer a sw...." He trailed off, golden optics landed on the charcoal hued wolf and he stopped dead. His eyes narrowed just slightly, but then he gave an idle shrug and continued forward.

Eyes widened a bit and then reverted to normal. They got me... He raised his body to its fullest height and trotted the rest of the way.
The watering hole was nice. Peaceful, clear and calm. The only thing that ruined it was the ruckus the avians created as another wolf came. As the wolf got closer, he lowered his head slightly until he came to the two canines. One had a wide color panel for fur as if it was dropped one a canvas before a painter. The other looked like a zebra yet had a body of a canine. He whispered.
"...Hello there."

Lethrossen "A dull looking bloke if I ever did see one." He suddenly leaned his head toward Taj, whispering in those odd, overly-loud whispers. He was just teasing, mostly. Which would be apparent by the cheeky grin he gave the other. But in all truth when he looked at himself so often in the water and had a companion such as Taj... charcoal was a dull look.
"Aye, that 'gaties would love so feast on my sexy body, just as half the female race... and dare i saw at least a third of the male race of maned wolves would." He hummed a little as he passed Taj, pouncing into the shallows. He wasn't young or anything, in fact he was quite on in his years. He just.. was very silly, joyful.
"Eya, Widget. Watchu up to?" He was directing this question to the other male, leaning down and gulping up water. After his fill he splashed around in the shallows a bit, before leaping back toward Taj. It took him three hops to get to her and with that he plopped down, sitting. "Your'd like to nibble on my sexy body, woulnya?" He grinned, delighted, to her. He gave her a wink and giggled, scrambling away so she wouldn't snap at him or anything, he was just yanking at her tail really.Quagga! He's based off of a quagga biggrin

"I...I live by the old tree over that hill there." he replied, pointing to the hill behind him with his tree's top hanging over it. "...and no, I have not met you...But I have met him" he narrowed his eyes as he glared at splashing wolf. "I have met that old dog once before...." he huffed a little and then let out a slight sigh. "Maybe coming here wasn't a good idea. I'll just go..." he turned around and began to head back to his shelter.
