【Understanding Senjutsu】
- Senjutsu are a specialized field of jutsu that involve the use of natural energy. Senjutsu practitioners, known as sages, learn to draw natural energy inside their bodies, blending it with their own chakra to create senjutsu chakra. This chakra adds a new dimension of power to the user's techniques, while also allowing for the use of techniques that would not otherwise be possible.
To use senjutsu, one must first learn to sense the natural energy in their surroundings and gather it inside their body. It must then be balanced with the user's own physical and spiritual energies, which make up their chakra, to create senjutsu chakra. If too little natural energy is added to the mix, senjutsu cannot be used, but gathering too much results in the user turning to stone. In the case of humans, absorbing too much natural energy first causes them to transform into an animal, be it a toad for practitioners at Mount Myōboku or a snake for practitioners at Ryūchi Cave. This process can be reversed if the natural energy is expelled from the person's body before they fully transform, but once the transformation is complete, it becomes permanent.

XXXXXTraining to master Senjutsu and even Sage Mode will follow the Transformation Mastery AND Jutsu concept with utilizing posts & paragraphs. Because Senjutsu is so rare yet so powerful, your journey to becoming a sage will take quite some time. When undergoing your training, your character will pass through stages involving the body's proper acceptance to nature energy. Dependent on the user's rank.
Improper Balanced State
XXXXXThis is the first common stage of the senjutsu training where the user first begins to experience entering Sage Mode. In this state, the user has not able to properly balance their own chakra with natural energy, resulting in his appearance taking on a number of animal-like traits when using Sage Mode. Some of the physical alterations, can be beneficial dependent on the animal contract you have made and can consciously manifest the alterations in order to take advantage of them. When entering this state of Sage Mode, the user will not be able to fully utilize this mode's true potential but will benefit some of it.

Fully-Balanced State
XXXXXUsers that can properly balance their own chakra with natural energy will not experience any animalistic transformations to their body. The one exception is a dark pigmentation around their eyes and the eyes themselves, which usually differ based on where the user learned Sage Mode. When entering the Fully-Balanced state of Sage Mode, the user will be able to fully utilize this mode's true potential.

【Sage Mode】
- Sage Mode is an empowered state that can be entered by blending natural energy with one's chakra, creating senjutsu chakra. Sage Mode allows users to tap into the natural force of the world, opening up new techniques to them and allowing them to power up existing ones with the new senjutsu chakra. In order to enter Sage Mode, the gatherer must remain absolutely still in order to be one with nature and balance the natural energy with their own physical and spiritual energies. If the user puts too little natural energy into using senjutsu, the technique will not work. Conversely, if too much natural energy is taken in, their body will turn to stone forever; humans will also be transformed into whichever animal's school the senjutsu was learned from.

XXXXXThe benefits of the user's Sage Mode is dependent on what current state of Sage Mode the user can access.

Fully-Balanced State
XXXXXThis is the true stage of Sage Mode. In this state, the user has truly mastered finding the balance between oneself and natural energy to where the user reaches their 'state of enlightenment.' Appearance-wise, the user no longer takes on traits of their animal contract but instead develops a dark pigmentation design around their eyes as the pupils themselves become that of the animal they have a contract with.

When facing an opponent that can drain chakra, this can prove to be fatal to the opponent if they absorbed too much chakra and will be turned to stone if they haven't had training with Sage Mode in the past. Furthermore, the user of Sage Mode can hold still to absorb more natural energy for the opponent to absorb and turn their own chakra absorption against them.

.../1... In order to gather enough natural energy to initiate the transformation into Sage Mode, the user must remain perfectly still, leaving them vulnerable. - Requires 1 full post just to gather natural energy
.../2... Because the user needs to move during combat, the senjutsu chakra cannot be replenished, which means the user can't stay within this state for extended periods of time.

XXXXXSage Transformation (仙人化, Senninka) is a way of attaining Sage Mode, using a bodily reaction exhibited by members of Jūgo's clan. By exposing their special body fluids to natural energy, they gain increased physical capabilities and the ability to perform various shape-shifting feats. Users who possess the ability to absorb natural energy regularly without having to undergo senjutsu training, accesses only the Improper Balanced State in appearance however gains the access of the Fully-Balanced State's benefits.

XXXXXDependent on the user's rank, the user will be given a separate pool of Sage Chakra (SCP) where there users will be drained from in conjunction to the usual drain of their regular chakra pool. Each rank has their own cost when using techniques

XXXXXJōnin rank contains a lesser amount of SCP than Kage's does. However, it is still more than enough for them to utilize.
