The district of Kawabata is where most of Uzushiogakureβs crops come from. Located in a low lying area of the village where several rivers converge is an area of terrace, bog, and floating garden farming. It is here that numerous different crops are grown before they are harvested and brought via the many rivers and pathways of the village to the other areas for purchase and consumption.

Taylor felt like he gathered enough distance from the vortex operatives chasing him. Horus flew above before he used the transformation technique and dropped down as a simple kunai. Taylor caught the weapon and also used the transformation technique. He took the form most familiar to his youth as he thought it would better blend him. In his transformed state he feigned a village headband based on the one he saw upon Masato. Taylor kept a wary eye as he looked up and down the river. He expected Masato to follow, but was afraid that wouldn't be the only person to show up

Several moments after Taylor would have decided he was safe, his brother in arms would appear in a flurry of wind and ambient chakra inches before Taylor. He paused to look around as he realized Taylor had chosen a particularly low profile area. The two would be able to blend into the crowd quite well here. " We can't stay here long. " Masato said plainly, looking skyward. Due to the villages layout, this area was beneath the rest directly in the center of the giant ravine that ran through it. " Not outside at least." He would pause. " I know....something." he said, cryptically. Closing his eyes. He would reopen them, releasing his mangekyo. Somehow though Taylor and Horus would begin to have reality and space warped around them as they swirled inward on themselves as Masato would do the same. As the boy and his companion would open their eyes after a blinks time, they would find themselves in an alternate dimension. The land around them was blank. This place had building like pillars around the two of them, the tallest, they had landed upon.
Masato would nod, his Mangekyo shifting to look at the boy. " This will do. We can stay here for a short while. I'll move you out of the village once we've spoken." He would sit candidly, closing his fist and resting it upon his knee with his elbow stuck upward. " So. What is this rogue nonsense?"

Taylor's eyes widened as the arena around him changed. He never knew Masato of having so much power. When they appeared in the alternate dimension Taylor dropped his disguise. He had Horus remained in his kunai form, however, since it would be easier to transport in case of an emergency. When Masato asked his question, Taylor sighed. "When I awoke, I had none of my memories. I was apparently rescued by the leader of a rogue group, and he led me to Uzu where I met with you." Taylor's answer was rather vague, but it got the job done. His mind was too distracted with all of the questions he needed to ask. "Who were those people?" Taylor asked as he faced his friend. He felt like Masato knew something about them since they called him formally by his name.

Masato would listen as his friend dropped the disguise. Masato had many questions. He would keep them simple after answering the questions Taylor had. " They're Vortex Ninja. " He would draw a red oni mask from his lapel, placing it cockeyed over his face and to the side, covering his ear more than anything while keeping his eyes revealed. " I joined their ranks a year ago. I'm one of their leading operatives...there's very little chance they'll pursue me. Still. This is safest." He paused, feeling strain on his vision as he held them inside this dimmension. It was something he had read about while traveling upon a great stone tablet. Taylor was stunned when Masato spoke about the actions of his affiliates. It didn't sound like something Takumi would do. Then again, he only just met the man a few weeks ago. It's not like he was good friends with him. Taylor wanted to ask a follow up question, but Masato beat him to the punch. The boy took a breath before he answered. "At the moment, I think he's making it up as he goes." The boy chuckled. "When he found me the building he owned was being used by a mad scientist. I think right now he's in the process of making his group, and is looking for any sort of tools he can get his hands on to make his group a threat." Taylor realized that after this was done, he was going to have to decide if he wanted to go back to Takumi. Why would he need to though now that he had Masato back? Masato...
"Masato, I think most of my memories of you have returned." He said as he looked away into the nothingness around them. "A similar thing happened with Horus that happened with you. First I draw a blank, then we fight, and then I get some memories back. A lot of these memories have blank pieces, or smudges on them. On one hand it feels like I know who I am again, but on the other it feels like I'm just a shell of who I once was." He said. He then looked at his friend once more. "I'm sorry, I'm rambling." Taylor said with a smile. "Whoever made this report must have known that I was part of their group. Do you think that you can talk to the person and explain that I was with you the whole time?" He asked.

The Uchiha would nod. Masato had other questions about this rogue group, but they were of very little interest to him in the long run. " Seems like you've gotten yourself into a situation." Masato said as he thought on the circumstances. The man would feel great concern for his close friend as he relayed his issue with retaining memories. " Hm. " He said, finally gathering his thoughts. " The woman responsible for the report can be...a handful." he said, laughing as he leaped to his feet. " I can clear your involvement from this event. As for your memories... I think that is something you'll have to discover on your own. Nariomi Sensei taught us that we're always connected through chakra. Ninshuu. You'll be able to contact me whenever you need for help. You shouldn't stay here though. Not yet." Masato would raise his hand into a fist and gently bumb Taylor's own, the action would reveal a synergetic flow of chakra between the two. Taylor would be unable to see without their contact, Masato however, with his Mangekyo would. He would pause, letting Taylor say anything he might need to get off his chest. Reactions. New questions. He had gotten a hold on such a technique now after holding it's use.

"Nariomi..." The name seemed strange to Taylor. It was definitely a memory which begged for release, like a song with lyrics you're begging to remember because of the sentimental value they once held. He was angry at the fact that he couldn't remember him, and kicked a nearby rock in his frustration. Still though, at least Masato had his back. Taylor smiled as he raised his fist to connect with his friend, allowing his chakra to flow just the same instinctively. As he did, however, black sparks flared flared from the connecting fist, and the demonic tattoo crawled along his extended left arm.
"Not again!" Taylor shouted as he broke apart the connection. The sparks faded and the tattoo receded. Taylor took a breath. He was suddenly aware of the memories which occurred as he was bound against some force within his mind. That was a memory he would gladly forget. "Sorry, but let's not do that again anytime soon." He said sheepishly as his arm lowered. "You said that now is not a good time to stay here. Is there something wrong in this village?" He asked concerned. Masato had to have had a reason to tell him not to stay in Uzushiogakure.

Masato would observe Taylor's curse mark spread. " It's nature chakra" he said as he grasped the arm firmly. " It doesn't flow naturally through your body like Nariomi's sage chakra did. It's...forced." His eyes pierced through the boy's chakra and would locate the mark on his body, directly on his chest over his heart. " Nature chakra is...being forced into your own chakra network...it might....maybe it's messing with chakra flow in your mind." It was a leap...but with his eyes, he would see the chakra overlapping near that point. Luckily the boy had it under control. Masato relaxed, happy to not utilize the skill more that he had before. " The village was alerted to the group's presence. Like I said, I can get you out of this mess...but I don't plan on staying much longer. I won't be able to save you then." He clenched his fists in anger as he reflected upon the past. " When the village fell. I witnessed the power of the tailed beasts. Demons. I was able to buy time for the villager's escape. but not able to put a dent in it alone. I feel that those...beasts will be used by many people. Many of them will use them to similar means. I will be the one to regulate their use. Stop them from falling into unworthy hands."

Taylor flinched at the word demon. A vision suddenly came to him as he felt himself drift back into a memory. In the memory, a faceless man with silver hair looked upon him. The man looked at a girl with black hair whose face was also blanked. They were both in robes, and they seemed familiar with each other. "Taylor. Remember that after I pass, you will be the one to take care of~" There was static before the man could finish his next words. Taylor shook his head to try and remember it. "Remember that a demon's power is an incredible burden. You must not use it for evil. Too many others will, and you must be the one who carries onward in the name of peace."

Taylor paused at Masato's inquiry. "I didn't?" His voice dragged as he said those words. He felt shocked at the news. "We're so close though. I can't imagine that I wouldn't have told you about my..." He looked away. Darn it. He couldn't recall what the bloodline was called. Did he get it recently? Taylor shook his head. "The power feels natural. It came out instinctively when I needed to defend myself against the leader." He said as he was clearly trying to analyze his thoughts. His hand grasped at his chin. "Why wouldn't I have told you?" He asked mostly himself. He looked up at his friend. "I'm sorry." He said honestly. His eyes then flared slightly, however. "Well on the topic, I don't recall you being able to materialize limbs of chakra. Is that some sort of deviation of those red eyes?" Taylor asked. He recalled the man's eyes changing colors during the fight, and how they work right now. He wasn't sure if this was the result of Masato getting stronger or if these abilities were new.

"Zhi?" Taylor said with confusion. He recalled a genin tournament, but most of his opponents are blank faces in his mind. He recalled a piano, and a girl... So much of it was lost. Taylor felt defeated for a moment. "I wouldn't recognize her if I saw her. I don't suppose there's any sense in looking for her, since you have all of the information I need about my past." He said honestly. Taylor wanted to know everything, but he wasn't sure at this moment what was and what wasn't important. He was going to have to rely on Masato for that information. "Going back to your demon corralling plan though..." Taylor said with his arms folded. "Do we know where any of the demons are? Like, does this village have any information on them?" He asked.
