Viewing Awajishima from the sea, an observer would see the windowed classrooms of the School of Heaven looking out over the scar from atop the left slope. A multistoried building which features small classrooms with personal desks, a handful of lecture halls, gyms for physical training, a comprehensive library, and outdoor training areas for ninjutsu practice. Students of the academy wear a unisex uniform consisting of gray coats and pants, with black shoes.
INDENT[ Ϋ ] Haruto wandered through the halls of the Academy. He has spent about three months studying here independently with a tutor to get the basics of being a shinobi down, but due to the frailty of his body...he was exempt from a few courses. Now...he had no idea what to do. So he wandered with his headphones on. He mostly just...thought about what he was good at. Apparently his bloodline is great at Genjutsu, so there is that to consider, and there is also his natural inclination towards Fuuton and Suiton techniques. There were all options. He wandered the halls, quietly trapped in his own mind, until he found the library. He smiled, and coughed slightly. The dust might aggravate his lungs, so he pulled a mask up to help out a bit. He perused the scrolls till one caught his hand. 'Demonic Illusions...huh. Must be a genjutsu manual.' Haruto pulled the scroll out and took it to a desk, sitting down and unfurling it. It was indeed a genjutsu manual, covering a few interesting techniques. His eyes seemed to absorb the information.
INDENT[ Ϋ ] His eyes pulled him to a technique that induces a sense of fear in a target. Chiru no Jutsu. Just reading it, about how it is done via an action designed to intimidate, usually eye contact, made Haruto begin to move chakra intuitively into his eyes. Luckily someone had walked up to him and tapped his shoulder, he glanced and made eye contact, releasing the chakra into their central nervous system. He watched the victim visibly shudder, wave his hands in apology and scurry away. Haruto blinked a moment and looked back at the sheet in front of him, looking over the technique again like...it was the most banal thing. It would be useful, but Haruto was confused. What happened? He didn't have much time to ponder it when his hands worked to move to another technique. - [Chill Technique Learned] - [Perform 1/3]
INDENT[ Ϋ ] Chouba no Kage, the next technique he was direct to learn by his instinct. Haruto would be able to manipulate his shadow's shape, or any shadow into a variety of potential images. He thought about his fears, he thought of a massive salivating zombie creature, with holes in its body, droolling as it loomed over a victim. As he envisioned this, chakra reacted to his own shadow, causing it to change and grow into what he was envisioning. Another voice screamed in surprise behind him at the scene on teh wall, displayed by light near Haruto. His reverie broken, he looked back and saw nothing amiss, though when he looked at the book again, it seemed like such a simple thing to do, the Chouba no Kage. INDENT[ Ϋ ] Haruto landed upon another technique, one to match the other two he learned. Dokuji no Onsei. Chakra collected around his voice box, as he focused on understanding the technique. It would enable him to change the sound of his voice, either to imitate someone or scare someone. Applications of such a basic genjutsu could be numerous in a wide variety of situations. Instead...Haruto coughed. What would normally have been this petite boy's stifled and small cough turned into a demonic rumble that seemed to whisper terrors of wild creatures into the space around him. More people got up and left at that. Haruto looked around, and realized he should take the scroll with him. He wound it up and left quickly, realizing finally that he was actually using those techniques. He got outside and sighed. Haruto surprised himself with instinctive use of genjutsu...so he realized he should pursue that path perhaps. - [Voice of the Peculiar Learned]
Once again a portal opened in space and time, but now it opened over Uzushiogakure. At least it put Cobalt on the bottom this time, as Sumika flopped onto her large panda's back in the middle of... the library? Ew, she hated this place. All musty and dusty and what have you. She'd have to figure out who the hell was making those portals and tossing her through them, their taste was trash. Dropping her on Kanzaki, a fight with Kurama, AND in the one place she wasn't technically allowed to be loud? Bad taste top to bottom. She crossed her legs for a moment, chin in hand, pondering something, before heading for the door and nearly trampling someone in her hurry to exit the repellent space. "Ay!Carefulnow!Cobalt'strainedbuthe'llstil-Whothehellareyou?" She asked, realizing she hadn't just almost stepped on some bumbling civy looking for a light read. Sea-green eyes arched an eyebrow in the boy's direction as the panda sniffed at the strange person. It was perhaps not as exciting as it was back in Konoha, when Sumika was younger, but even though her uncontrollable rambunctiousness had faded over the past five years, the sense of curiosity and silliness at its core still burned strong. And new shinobi? Well, consider her interest piqued. Also someone had told her to watch out for enemy spies trying to undermine Uzu's burgeoning shinobi and she'd taken it a little too seriously. There was a reason she was still a genin, at least part of which was because in matters of critical thinking, the still rather diminutive puppeteer was far from the brightest bulb in the shed. Put her in a fight? Force of nature. Plop her down in front of a Towers of Hanoi puzzle? Tears or something broken in less than five minutes. "You'renotaspyareyou?TheytoldmeIcouldfeedspiestothebigguyhere." She said, scritching the bear behind one of his big, round ears.

Saiko found himself in the academy of Uzushiogakure soon after leaving the Hospital. As he entered he noticed that there were a few other people there, primarily Sumika and a genin he didnβt recognize. The man nodded at the two and walked past them to find a quiet place to train. He was always quiet and preferred to not talk unless he needed to. Once he found a place that he could train he got to work. Scrolls would be pulled from the many shelves of the academy and read through as Saiko went to work. It had been a while since had trained and he certainly missed it. It was a good time to get stronger so that he could further protect the Kazekage in case the UHV decided to try and finish what they had started. With the Kazekage in mind, he realized he needed to get done as quick as possible. As soon as he was finished reading, he would quickly go to practicing the different techniques. It was easier to learn than he before as he got more experience. With a little effort he had already trained several jutsu.
The man wasnβt quite finished yet as he still had much to learn before he could say he was finished with his training. More and more scrolls would be pulled from the academy shelves so that he could read through them. Saiko could feel the power growing within him as he trained the techniques, preparing himself for any possible outcome. The man studied the techniques until they were engrained in his brain, eventually practicing them to make sure he understood the fundamentals of each of the techniques. This was going much quicker than he had ever expected. With a lot of ninjutsu trained up, Saiko decided to move over to the Dojo to practice some Bukijutsu that he needed to train.

INDENT[ Ϋ ] Haruto hadn't noticed or heard anyone talking to him, but the smell caught his attention. He lifted his head and looked around, and found a bear in very close proximity to himself. He yelped and jumped back, and fell on his rear. It only took a moment of panic before he spotted the girl on top of the bear. He pulled his headphones of quickly and in a panic made a very dumb statement, "Y-you're on a bear!" He was very much scared and racked his mind on how to get a bear away from him when he just...curled. "Don't...don't hurt me." He quietly muttered to himself while wrapped up like that. He had no idea what to do right now.
Sumika's head tilted to the side as the boy literally lost his s**t at the sight of Cobalt. Well, that was a first. "Hmm,youdon'tseemlikeaspy.Kanzakididsaythespiescouldbewilythough.Orsomethingweirdlikethat." The woman said with a curious tone, sliding off the panda to go inspect the boy. She poked him a couple times in the leg with a boot before her chin descended into her hand once more. Ohwell,offtojailwithyouIguess.Letthemsortyouout. Sumika added with a sudden shrug as she motioned for Cobalt to pick Haruto up and ferry him off for processing. All in a good day's work as far as she was concerned. Now, she could use some training while she was here. Kill two birds with one stone, stop a spy learn some jutsu, what could be better? All of the adoration and none of the work, boy Cobalt sure was useful now that he was all big and whatnot.

INDENT[ Ϋ ] This time Haruto could hear Sumika. Jail? Spy? He was still processing this information when the bear picked up him. "Wuh? Hey! No, I'm...I am not a spy! Well, technically yes but I work for Uzushiogakure! Headband proof and stuff!" Haruto pulled out the headband and pointed at it, while dangling from the mouth of a bear. "I am Haruto Koizumi. I just finished the fast track at this academy. Please let me gooooo...." He almost started whining. He was confused and scared because a panda was carrying him away to jail when he did nothing wrong, on top of his own weird things in the library. "Why are you so mean...." This last phrase was quiet and clearly full of a bit of whine.
Sumika snapped and the panda stopped in its tracks. Calmly she examined the headband, looking from it, to the boy, and back to it again... several times. "Imean...IguessSanneversaidanythingaboutspies." She admitted as she brought her hand up to her cheek, bunched up her fingers, and then spread them apart. Cobalt immediately dropped the boy in response. "Youcouldhavemurderedsomeoneforitthough.BackwhenIwasinLeaf,somegirlgotblastedinthefaceonamission,dudeleadingitjustfrozeupandIhadtorunaway." She said, hands mimicking the effect of someone getting shot in the head. "Prettyeasytogetaheadband,but,Iguessitdoeslooknewish.Anywho,I'mSumika.OftheIronSand.AndthisisCobalt." The woman said, gesturing with a wide smile towards the bear before holding out a hand for Haruto to shake. "Ofthe...well...Cobaltwhereareyouof,exactly?" She asked, absentmindedly leaving her hand sticking out there.

Jove walked through the halls of the Academy and stood in front of the massive window. Though it had been five years, Jove reminisced over the deep sienna landscape of Sunagakure. The rolling sands and warm breeze was something that that she missed. Jove gently tapped on the window that gave her the view of the verdant emerald that spotted the landscape; the architecture of Uzushiogakure wove through the forested chasm. This was her new home, her heart was in it and she was going to protect it. She stepped away from the window and went to a desk, she looked through and found a blank sheet of paper. Joves mother was a talented origami artist, doing small origami reminded her of her mother. She sat on the edge of the desk and folded the paper corner to corner. She gently licked the crease to make a finer edge. Overlapping her edges and creating a fine crease, the edges sharpened. Soon, a small crane stood in her palm. With a gentle exhale, the crane began to glide bout the room; landing on the floor in front of her.
In her excitement, she took another sheet from the desk. Again perching herself at the edge of the desk, she now held the paper in the palm of her hand. Applying a minuscule amount of chakra into the paper. In a blink of an eye, the paper folded into a crane that took flight into the air. Using the ebb and flow of her chakra, the small paper crane flew about the room. She guided it back to her, landing and unfolding next to her.

She stood up and wanted to put her control of this paper to the test, she opened the drawers of the desk and used a single hand sign. The paper she observed contained in the desk began to flutter about the room and like the crane before the mass of paper undulated with the ebb and flow of her chakra. She waived her hand and the undulating mass of paper began to blend together then using the release handsign; the paper gained mass and created a clone of Jove. The clone stood in front of her and walk about the room. The chakra to sustain it was minuscule and it dispersed with a simple handsign.

The paper guided itself to Jove and laid flat on her skin. Embedded with her chakra it was now under her control.
INDENT[ Ϋ ] Haruto was moderately appalled by the story Sumika shared. Who could live through a life like that and still remain sane? But then again, this is the life Haruto himself chose. He was relieved to be let down as well. Well...uh...I don't have a pet, but I am really good with Genjutsu I guess? Someone said a while ago my bloodline makes me good with illusions." Haruto just shrugged and got up. He reached out and took Sumika's hand. "L-let's get along from now on, eh?" Haruto smiled a bit, nervous but hopeful. He wanted to make friends and get along as a shinobi, even if he didn't have a lot of experience. "I used to live in Konoha as well...before...that happened. But I was bed bound back then." Almost to emphasize the point, Haruto started to cough a bit. And by a bit...it was a full on coughing fit. He placed one hand over his mouth, and another on his knees bracing himself. When it finished, he closed his fist and shoved it into his pocket after quickly wiping his mouth. "I guess some of the dust form inside managed to get me, eh?" He tried to laugh it off. "So...what are you up to Sumika?
The woman seemed, confused that Haruto had a hold of her hand for some reason, as if she'd entirely forgotten the gesture she'd made. It took her considerably longer than one might have expected to process the question, only really snapping back when Cobalt nearly knocked her on her a** with a massive paw. "Oh,uh,trainingIguess?I'mnotreallysurehowIgothere,honestly." Sumika said as she rubbed her side. "Couldn'tyouhavejustgrowledatmeorsomethingCobe?" If she seemed to care at all about what Haruto had said about being friends from now on, well, she either didn't or it had gone in one ear and right out of the other. She was an odd, but useful, egg at the best of times. At worst she was outright destructive. Put simply, there was a reason why Sumika, at 21, was still a genin despite capabilities nearing the level of Konin ranked shinobi. One minute she was helping hold off the Kyubi, the next she'd have accidentally toppled a building by turning its supports into iron sand. "Anyway,Iguessit'stimeIactuallygotontask.IneedtobereadyforwheneverSanaeneedsme." She said with a wave and enthusiastic smile, turning on her heel to get to work.

INDENT[ Ϋ ] The young ninja just waved at Sumika. "Bye then. Don't get into to much trouble. I think I am going to try and train as much as I can for a while. Ya know, get good enough to actually serve." He smiled as he waved her off in goodbye, then sat down to read the scroll he had, pulling his headphones back on. If she wanted to get his attention again, she would have to yell or something.
The chiseled Jonin would enter the academy grounds, remaining out of the spotlight as best as possible. He had training to complete. He had not long since arrived in the village after his extended exploits in the land outside the walls. During that time he had not trained before today. He would set himself to work, practicing his Fire Release Ninjutsu. He would begin with the hellfire whirlwind technique, then move on to the Karyuu Endan technique, Flame Fist and Fierce Flame Fist.
He would grin, feeling excited to have access to elemental scrolls once more. It had been so long since he had been able to do anything outside of Taijutsu, which he would reserve only for the strongest opponents. This would cause a need for variety. Boredom set in with the lack of effort applied lately. He would stretch out once more, readying himself for the second round of training. Now he would continue the flame element training. Housenka no Jutsu and it's final form would come next, giving him access to much more powerful jutsu.
Next he moved on from the fire element. He would seek out something more. Something about his past. Over the last five years, he had learned he was an Uchiha. His lineage may be lost to him for now, but it was certain of his inherited power. With this in mind he would read tomes of the techniques held by clansmen. First the Lightning Seal Technique, a useful sealing skill. Then would be the Shield of the Storm God, a defensive Jutsu. Next, the Magatama and Amaterasu's blessed breath.
He would find the usage of fire fascinating and identifiable with his preferences. He would continue, utilizing everything available to learn from. Hidden Projectile arts, the Storm God's Bayonet, a Hidden Striking Technique and the final technique of that scroll held the powerful Incinerating Magatama dance. Masato found the new found scrolls that seemed to be hidden arts from previous scrolls he had read very interesting. A small pile of them remained to go through.
The next scroll he opened would lead with the art of Genjutsu. While Masato was familiar with genjutsu, he was by no means adept at it. This technique would require much more effort from him, expanding on his normal taijutsu focus. Continuing with his struggle was a technique that cast a hellish illusory technique on the foe through eye sight. The midsection of the scroll would return to somewhat more familiar territory. Two techniques that dealt incredible hot fire damage through the mouth and handseal combination.
Finally, he opened the final scroll that was available. Yet another powerful flame technique that involved forming hand seals and spewing fire. This time, the flames formed a powerful vortex that swirled violently, burning everything it was near. The final technique in the last scroll, the Uchiha Return. It surprisingly enough called for a large fan like weapon. He shrugged, realizing that his Bijuu Cleaver would be more than sufficient to create the counter technique.
Moving forward, he would utilize the Fuuton element scrolls. From them he would find the Nishido Ryu techniques that infuse wind into taijutsu quite useful. He would practice the motions several times, excited for the physical activity. Continuing, he would learn solo flight and the rasengan technique! With this rather diverse arsenal, he felt satisfied with the wind element's training.
Masato would begin reading and practicing upon his third element. The Lightning Release. This was one that he hadn't had much luck with in the past as it was astranged to him since his primary element was fire, secondary of wind. He had only learned himself capable of the Lightning release after exchanging bodies with Tetsuhiko several years prior. With this in mind, he would learn to resist the currents he would create, turn his body to lightning, How to encase himself in lightning like armor and to generate lightning when clapping. Satisfied, Masato would wrap up his training session and rest.

Jove a surge of chakra run through her and she knew that she needed for the training of her paper to continue. She lifted her hands into the air and the paper began to flutter around the small room. She felt as if the paper was easier to control and it took minimal chakra to do so, she naturally let her chakra ebb and flow. She used a single handsign and folded sheets into paper kunai, she went them into the wall. They dug into the wall and stuck, only with another handsign; the paper unrolled and fell from the wall. Jove felt like this was all to easy, it like nothing to control the paper in the air.

Her heart knew that she needed to be a complete master at her own craft. She expressed chakra from her body and released more paper into the air. It undulated and moved in the room, she used yet another handsign and some of the sheet of paper became butterflies in the room. They fluttered about and out of the window, she used a minimal amount of chakra and guided it through the windows. It took off into the air above the Village.

Jove pulled the paper in close and stacked it next to her, she knew that it would be time for her to learn other things. She looked at the wall containing Jutsu and looked it over, she wanted to learn something that was going to be of essential use to her. She had an affinity of being well prepared for the βJust in Caseβ instances. There were three on the wall that particularly piqued her interest, she pulled the scrolls from the wall and guided herself back to the small desk she was before. With the paper stacked neatly next to her, she opened the first scroll. She looked over the contents and pulled a small pen from the wall. Floating a sheet to the top of the desk, she drew the Enclosing Seal on her own sheet. She placed a Shuriken on top of it. With her right hand, she used the release handsign; with the left she gently touched the paper.
In a small touch of her palm, she Shuriken disappeared in a puff of smoke. The Seal slightly changed to signify the storing of the Shuriken. Though the trick would be summoning it back to her hand.

Knowing what she knew about the enclosing technique, she wanted to apply that to the unsealing of the Shuriken. She looked at the difference of the seal from when she placed the Shuriken and when it was empty. She channeled chakra to the palm of her hand and touched the seal once more. She Shuriken appeared in a puff of smoke underneath her hand. The seal on the piece of paper faded and disappeared, she would have to redraw it before she would be able to use it again.
