Soft static discharge was all that remained of the Containment Unit sent to subdue you. Its form was broken, reabsorbed by the tower before it could finish falling to the ground. The black panels beside each containment tube blinked once and went quiet, fading away to complete blackness. No longer did any foreign symbols dance across its screen.

Several moments passed in solitude, allowing you to catch your breath.

Then, a lilting, feminine voice could be heard echoing through the chamber.

[[If it's alright with you, could you come to see me, please? Thank you for your cooperation.]]

Part of the back wall gives way like flower petals blossoming - another door, perhaps an exit? The mechanical whirring sound is louder now than it's ever been before. You feel no fresh air, but the scent of burnt wires and ozone is heavy in this room.

Upon entering this new room, a huge monitor spans the entire 30x30' wall before you. Its glow is steady and pale blue, with multitudes of foreign symbols whizzing past at lightning speed. Before it floats a strange sight indeed - a young girl, perhaps no older than nine or ten, lacking a lower body and arms past the elbow. Her skin is tanned though mottled with an unexplained iridescence. Her long, pale hair sways with her slight movement, and she turns to face you. There is a strange, swirling globe in her chest.

[[Salutations, sentient biologicals. I am Biological Interface Unit Delta. You have resisted containment. I was curious as to why?

My programming allows me to interface with you in a friendly and polite manner. Our scans have concluded your default language is: English. Do not worry - I am not a unit capable of combat. Are your injuries causing you distress? There is a Biological Restoration Pad here in this room. You may use it, if you wish.]]

This is your chance to rest and ask Delta any questions you might have pertaining to the event! Delta will not harm you and has no desire to do so. The Biological Restoration Pad is a large, 10x10' green glowing square to Delta's left. If you opt to stand in this square, your HP will be fully restored.

Was that it, then?

Encke watched as everything around them went quiet, from just the general static noises to the panels. The lighting in the room seemed to dim just a tad, but perhaps that was because there was no longer an alien electrical AI trying to force them into tubes...

When a voice broke through, asking him--them--to come see her, Encke was instantly wary. This sounded like a trap, but he supposed there was nothing else they could do. The voice revealed an exit to some other place, and the only other option he could see was to continue to sit in the room until he inevitably died of thirst. There didn't seem to be any other available exits, anyway...

He sighed and headed through the doorway.

The large monitor was fascinating, and reminded him of a few things he had seen on his own comet since he had gotten the power back on. That included the language he couldn't recognize, unfortunately. Encke hadn't often seen monitors that ... big, though, on his comet. Whatever society this monument had originated from, it was clearly technologically advanced. If the thing hadn't just been trying to kill them, he might have asked more about their technology. Hell, he was still tempted to ask, but he wasn't sure if he should engage just yet.

The girl who ... floated in front of them made him uneasy. She looked human, but she also seemed very much not human. For one, she was floating. She was another one of those units, from what she said, which probably meant that she was just another AI, but he wasn't sure why this form was the one decided...

It seemed that she wasn't going to try to harm them, though. Maybe he should try talking to her.

Her question was an easy one to answer. "Because we didn't want to be contained. We have lives to live, outside of here." Encke tilted his head. "Why do you want to contain us?"

Anser jumped back when the standing deer alien suddenly shifted and blasted out energy into the ceiling, but soon found herself relaxing when she realized that it was defeated.

They had won!

"Go us!" declared Anser, because they had won, and Anser jumped up and pumped a fist into the air in victory. This may have been the second time that something weird had happened to her after going out at night after becoming a senshi, but it was also the second time that they she had won after she had gone out and something weird happened. Maybe this wasn't so bad?

As long as she kept at it, she couldn't lose!

It didn't quite hit her that they were trapped in there until a feminine voice opened some sort of hidden flower door. She pursed her lips and went into the door, unable to help her curiosity.

"Whoa--"

That was a big a** screen. Her video games would look so cool on there!

It was too bad she didn't have her portable system on her in this form, or maybe she could hook up her game and play some 'Kart. Maybe she could just take the screen... There was a globe-chested floating child that was trying to talk to them, though. Maybe she should do that first. And then ask to borrow the screen.

(She sort of realized that borrowing the screen was likely impossible, but it wouldn't hurt to ask ... probably.)

Unlike the really muscly super senshi (did all super heroes get that buff, or was it just some? She hoped it was all of them--) Anser zoned in on something less obvious that Delta had mentioned. If it could detect English, maybe it also knew other languages? That would be cool.

"¿Habla español?"

Oh no, she was actually a cute little thing. As cute as a disembodied torso of a young girl with a penchant for speaking politely could be, anyway.

Paracelsian made a thoughtful noise as he mulled over his questions. This Delta was curious about the resistance, not angry or upset about it. Perhaps her mind was young like her body was. Was she a research unit? Some kind of AI experiment that went a little too far? Man, he'd read a few too many science fiction blurbs recently. She was offering a healing pad over there, too. That was nice. Magic, science, some combination of the two? What a fascinating world indeed.

His timing might have been a bit odd, but he stepped forward from the crowd, politely doffing his cap. "It's nice to meet you, Delta, though I wish it could have been under better circumstances," he said. "Do you know who put you here, and how or why?" It was a simple question for the sake of enlightenment. He wasn't about to get hostile or pushy with a simulated little girl.

Youma Koschei
HP: 29/60 -- 60/60 (square sitting)

They had made it elsewhere, another rabbit hole in which all parties descended into without a care, something Koschei found curious even as he joined them into the next room.

Upon seeing Delta, he hopped over and pecked at the interface before his attention turned to the restoration pad that had been pointed out. A happy caw was given before he hopped over, shoving aside anyone that sought to get in his way before planting his feathery butt upon it.

It didn't appear that he would be moving any time soon, perhaps to other's dismay.

"What of life seems containable?" He asked, head twisting until it was nearly upside down. "To what lies in this space besides another hole for the wanders to follow rabbits down?"

Oh, thank Christ.

Acubens stumbled into the room, her limbs still not totally responding to her after the shock from before. Keeping an eye on the General and Abstracta, she made her way over to the restoration pad. There was already what felt like a youma on it, and Acubens vaguely wondered what it was doing here and thought maybe she should be more wary of it, but truth be told Acubens was puffing and panting from that small jaunt and didn't care about much else besides healing. It wasn't until she got nearer that she wondered if maybe it wasn't some kind of trap... Acubens hesitated at the edge of the pad, suddenly realizing how convenient it was.

"I think... it would be best if we let the others do the talking," Acubens muttered to the two of them, making sure that she still had three mirror shards at her disposal just in case things went south again.

"Best not draw unneeded attention to us..."

DMS Super Mithra

Finally. Mithra thought as she went into the next room. She wasn't happy with this. With any of this. In fact, she was still pretty pissed, especially because she hadn't been able to get too many hits in on that creature that they had been fighting before.

For a moment, she hoped that this would turn into another battle.

Instead, some foreign computer form or whatever appeared before them, and of course, it had to look like a 'cute' girl. "Gag me." She muttered under her breath. She was glad that the first one to speak, a super senshi it seemed, got the question out that they were all wanting to know. There would be no need of her to ask it then.

Her gaze moved around the room, until she spotted, Acubens! She quickly ran to the other's side, glad that there was someone she knew here besides the other DMS that was here. She only lightly touched Acubens's arem to let the other know that she was here, before she listened to a bit more talking.

She made another disgusted face when the lieutenant greeted the creature like it hadn't just tried to kill them in the other rooms, and then put them in for 'containment'. She leaned over to Acubens. "Reminds me of when we first met that Queen." She whispered. It reminded Mithra too much of it. People who too easily went and trusted someone, even though they had almost just been killed by that someone. Did people not have any common sense anymore?! Or was it just because the thing that got them there was a 'cute' girl that all of a sudden it couldn't be dangerous?!

The most dangerous things usually looked the most innocent or innocuous!

Super Sailor Cor Caroli

Cor Caroli heaved a sigh of relief when a polite voice requested the presence of his group. Maybe this nonsense was something approaching over? Nah, it was never really over for a senshi, but any little break was welcome. He sized up Delta, giving her a wary gaze. She seemed innocuous enough, but anything could happen at this point, really.

"Hey, so, I've got a question," he said, stepping slightly away from the main body of the crowd. "What happens to the people who get contained? That might explain to you why we resisted. And if you still don't get it, I guess someone here can explain why it's bad to just shove people into tubes."

If Cor knew his sci-fi, this girl was probably operating under very alien logic, possibly very rigid alien logic. His body was still tense; for all he knew, Delta would activate some kind of wacky defense mode and there'd be another fight. This was the most ready to fight he'd felt in a long time, probably because the enemy wasn't part of a faction that he may or may not end up having ties with. Maybe he ought to keep an eye out for more alien invaders?

Page Gomorrah & a little Youma Koschei

Some chick in a flapper dress and a crack in her head had finished off the stupid dog thing that kept attacking him and his husband and he was grateful for that s**t to be over. Having thumped the man's chest, he escorted him into the other room that was filled with another suspicious technological creation, a giant a** bird that took up way too much space and some other pricks he didn't care to get to know.

He was mildly curious where bluesy with the good a** had gone but his hubby was injured and that got priority.

Which meant that as soon as Deltoid had mentioned a healing pad thingy, he was pushing people out of the way until he saw a group of weirdly dressed kids with metal bands on their wrists and one giant a** bird.

A bird that had turned it's giant ******** head towards the chick with all the brown hair and was attempting to peck at said hair before getting up and waddling ********.

"Move," he grumbled, carrying his much larger spouse over so he could be restored or whatever and then moved to find somewhere they could sit away from everyone else.

General Arsenopyrite

Arseno trudged into the next room, waiting for the other shoe to drop. They had just defeated some... thing, and now they were being led somewhere else. Anything could happen at this point, and he wasn't sure if he would like any of it.

And he didn't. As he watched with the others, the creature "Delta" had appeared and, if he was in agreement with his girlfriend who was in the room but he did not acknowledge, then they were both rolling their eyes. What was with weirdo aliens trying to look like cute little girls?

After this he was going to go and buy some dolls and then set them on fire just to see if he could released some of the pent-up anger that he had about this whole situation. It read to him like, 'I'm cute little alien girl who is trying to do something to you guys but you can't be mad because I don't look dangerous even though I just tried to kill you! tee-hee.' Though so far Delta hadn't quite acted like that, which Arseno was grateful. She had just asked a question so far, and he raised an eyebrow at the lieutenant who greeted her so warmly. If he could find them again, he would have a talk with that lieutenant about seemingly trusting enemies that had recently just tried to destroy them.

He shook his head. Perhaps it was the chaos that had worked it's way into his soul. He sighed and looked on with everyone else, the main question of his having been asked. As soon as that was answered, he would like to be taken home. He didn't care for alien races that decided that humans were experiments or whatever.

Captain Tantalite

Tantalite was ready to go home and soak in the tub for a few hours. Probably while finishing her book. While she couldn't truthfully say too much of her was sore...she'd taken a few blows that were entirely unpleasant.

Of course, it seemed there was still more walking to do before they could go home. And of course there was also talking to be done. She smoothed a hand through her hair, putting it all neatly black into place as though she hadn't been struck by a giant white-noise making containment unit previously.

Now instead there was a unit that looked like a little girl because of course it did. As to it's question? Well, she didn't particularly feel like giving it an answer - she'd simply not wanted to go into a tube!

The Unit calling itself Delta did not seem the least bit concerned with the nature of some of the questions it was being asked. At all times, the Unit seemed to have a slight smile to its face, though those eyes did not have any hint of emotion like a human might. It simply floated there, in midair, lacking the limbs that would make it appear more normal.

Sailor Dubhe - 48/50HP

The tall senshi was glad when Theta was gone. Freed of the threat and entering the new room, Dubhe was, at first, still on high alert. Her brain told her there was danger and her body wasn't quick to relax, but relax it did as she looked around, finally setting eyes on Delta. Although she knew absolutely nobody and had only met one person in passing, she wasn't foolish. People were asking questions, and with a soft breath, Sailor Dubhe began to sit, cross legged on the ground as she pulled her ponytail over her shoulder, beginning to wring it in an anxious tic. She didn't know what to do and didn't want to intrude, but when it seemed opportune, she looked, studying Delta silently for several moments in silence.

She let it-her?-speak, before pausing quietly.

"People don't like to be contained." Dubhe murmured quietly. She then looked to Delta sadly, head tilting with a sot of kicked puppy expression.

"What are you? Why did you have those things attack us? Why not try a more peaceful solution?" She finally spoke with a trembling tone, one that was poorly hiding the fact that adrenaline was fading, leaving a tired and somewhat saddened senshi. Delta seemed like a nice machine, and she felt a little badly.

"There's got to be kinder ways, at least..."

Sailor Ananke

Ananke stepped onto the glowing square. Taking a sigh of relief. Looking up she puffed her cheek and took a deep breath. "I... I don't understand this nonsense of deconstruction but what I do know is what you're doing here is not nice!" Ananke put her fists on her hips.

"I have been shocked many times and then there was a giant electric snake! Since you seem to know what is happening I can only assume you were the one who was behind this. Who are your parents? I wish to talk to them to see where you got this idea that it is fun to play with electricity!"

Camelot HP: 17

Camelot took a deep breath and sat down on the floor, watching the others as they spoke to this strange creature. He did want to get involved as well, but he was so tired and aching from the battle, he could barely keep himself focused. At least the battle had ended and no one ended up dead, which was always a win in his book.

It seemed there had been many others trapped in this place as well, as more and more people filtered into the room. He even spotted a very familiar little cat, who noticed him in the same moment and came running over to him.

"Camelot!" Hadaya mewed, rubbing against Camelot's knees and purring madly. "You're alive! So am I! We fought monsters! Did you know I can shoot lasers?!"

Camelot watched the excited cat with a very tired level of patience that only came to a person after they passed their limits. He nodded along to what Hadaya was babbling about, petting him lightly as he rubbed for attention, but would not really remember any of what was being said to him when asked about it later. Not that Hadaya would ever mind.

The Royal Knight watched the, seemingly, more friendly being that was talking to the others. This one, at least, was not trying to 'contain' them, but he was hardly going to consider that a trustworthy feature. He did vaguely hear something about healing, but that required getting up and his knees and lower back had shut off for the day.

No, the floor was good. Quietly listening from the floor and petting a kitty was good.

(if anyone wants to interact with him, get him some heals, or whatevs, feel free!)
