Something stirs you away from your task at hand. Perhaps you were sleeping and were suddenly awoken. Perhaps you were protecting your neighborhood, or perhaps you were turning in energy for your weekly quota. No matter what it was you were doing just moments ago, you were being summoned.
The song is off-key, lilting and uneasy, but it seems to be calling you. It is a hum, a tune you can’t quite place, but know it sounds off. You can feel it in your body and deep in your mind. Almost as if sleepwalking, many begin making their way through the city and towards the park where this strangeness all started.
Fifty-seven starseeds have been gathered at the base of the mysterious monument, drawn here by an eerie, bone-deep song no one else can perceive. You are milling about, almost waiting… but for what? There are enemies and allies among your ranks, but you feel no adrenaline in your veins, no desire to attack. Something seems to be lulling you to an odd dreariness. The moon is high in the sky on this crisp and clear night.
Without warning, the monument begins to glow with a bright, golden light. The light is warm but smells of ozone and static dances across your bare skin. Soon, you are all but blind and lose all feeling in your limbs.
You are drifting…
...and when you awaken, you are no longer in Destiny City as you knew it.
Sandy beige walls pulse with electrical veins, a mechanical hum heavy in the air. You and your now-comrades are in a large room, devoid of doors. Slitted windows align one wall, but some kind of forcefield seems to be keeping you inside. You can see out, gazing upon the moonlit park you had left behind.

[THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT]
You’re trapped inside the Monument! How did you get here? You’re not really sure, but there doesn’t seem to be any means of escape… for now. The following rules will apply to this event only!
You cannot power down while inside the Monument! You cannot leave the Monument by any means you can conceive of. There are no doors leading outside, and Chaos-aligned agents and senshi cannot teleport outside, even if they can clearly visualize where they would like to go. They will not expend the energy even if they tried to teleport, however. TL;DR - no teleportation, nothing happens. Chaos agents, corrupted senshi and Dark Mirrors cannot drain energy. Dark Mirror Senshi cannot mirrorwalk outside the monument or travel to Mirrorspace, and they cannot summon any wraiths. Likewise, Knights and Senshi cannot travel to their homeworld or the moon. You are effectively disconnected for the time being. Knight Summons cannot be used. You can go through the motions, but just like with teleportation, nothing happens. You do not lose any energy for trying. Personal Youma cannot be summoned into the Monument. They cannot hear your call. Knight Aspects are on the fritz and do not appear to work unless specifically noted. You can only interact with the people in your team for the time being. As far as you’re aware, the other people gathered at the Monument with you have effectively disappeared. Cellphones, tablets and other communication devices will work, BUT - only with the people in your team. You cannot call friends if they are not present with you. Your calls and messages simply bounce back.
[SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS]
Mauvians are trapped in the highest form they’ve achieved. This means, if they have access to a human or senshi form, they are stuck in it. Mauvians have unlimited kitty beams for the duration of this event (to aid in combat checks!) Our Resident 4th Stage Characters are also stuck in their highest form. This doesn’t apply to Camelot exactly, but… Sorry, Leto. You’re stuck with the big ol’ wings. No shifting between 3rd and 4th stage here. 4th stage characters can only use their special abilities (like crystal powers and Aspects) one time, unless specified otherwise. Chaos agents and senshi can teleport within the Monument itself, but even then, only to rooms you’ve been to and currently have access to. The same applies to Dark Mirrors who find a reflective surface. No Mirrorspace, but you can get from one room to another on a reflective surface if you can find one. Youma DO NOT hunger while in the Monument! Something about it seems to satiate the youma’s need to feed.

Your HP and numbers to generate are dependent on your character’s rank for combat purposes! These will be reiterated for each step of the climb, so don’t worry if you forget - I’ll keep them posted in easy-to-find spots in case it gets confusing.
This list will be reposted before every combat, so don’t worry about memorizing these numbers!

Acrucis 60/60 HP
For the first time in a long while Hannah had actually gone to bed at a somewhat decent, if not early, hour. However, it wasn’t really a conscious choice. The plan was to do some studying and maybe spot clean her room a bit. But with Sheena curled up on her feet with pillows piled high behind her; Hannah kind of set herself up for failure.
No more than fifteen minutes and half a dozen yawns later she was out. Her last conscious thought being that her coffee was going to get cold yet oddly enough it really didn’t matter.
Between the exhaustion from class and clinics, not to mention the towers odd appearance, Hannah didn’t even recall dreaming when she woke suddenly. Almost as if her phone alarm alarm had gone off, one moment completely gone the next moment she was wide awake; no startling dream about falling off a cliff or being chased by a youma, just a strange sounding melody and had it not of been for Sheena’s weight against her leg Hannah would have assumed this to be a surreal kind of dream.
Rubbing her eyes, the need for sleep still tugged at her consciousness but that sound… it called to her in a way she couldn’t resist. And so, with a sigh, Hannah slowly got out from under her covers, careful not to sturr the mauvian, and escaped outside. Despite it being spring the weather was still nippy especially at night; regardless Hannah powered up once she was a safe distance from her home and in that half awake half asleep like state she followed the haunting melody.
The minutes that followed passed by in a blur; different auras began spotting the edge of her awareness, some order several not; yet oddly it didn’t matter all she cared about was finding the source of the song. One moment she was passing by a bakery that had closed several hours ago, but the storefront still smelled of fresh bread, and the next moment she was standing next to the mysterious monument as it began emitting a bright light.
Then nothing…
When Acrucis finally came to, and the spots that clouded her vision finally dispersed, she glanced around the room. Where are we? What is this place. she wondered, not wanting to bring attention to herself by voicing the thoughts that were likely on everyone else's mind.
Through the window she could see the park where they had all been standing but it looked different somehow; almost like the time she had fallen through a mirror by mistake. Granted that was years ago but the sensation of otherworldliness felt just the same; akin to an out of body experience but not, in truth it was hard to explain.

He didn't know why he ended up at that part of town, walking slowly into the park where a massive monument stood. It reminded him of the Washington monument, though he'd never seen it in person. It bothered him in a way he couldn't put his finger on and that feeling grew as he caught sight of other powered people arriving around him, approaching the obelisk the same way.
Fafnir would have fled, if he could have. He might have even struck out, but something stopped him before thought could become action. Standing there on the grass in his dark purples and blues, he could only stare as the glow rose before them, blocking out everything else.
For just a moment, he wondered if this was the end of them, and part of him welcomed it...
It felt later that he woke up, or just opened his eyes, and found himself in a room he'd never seen before. Stone stretched over head and below him as Fafnir groaned and rolled onto his side, blinking bleerily at a collection of other downed figures. He tried to speak and failed, dryly clearing his throat before running his tongue across his lips.
"Where are we?" He finally croaked, unconsciously echoing Acrucis's thoughts. Moving slowly, the corrupt pushed himself up onto his hands and knees, looking slowly over the others here with him. Not all were chaos, and that was enough to make him very, very wary.

Super Sailor Lacrimosa
Despite having investigated the weird monument that had shown up some time ago, when it yielded no real danger at the time Melody had sort of forgotten about it. She hadn't entirely but it had been put from her mind when there was more to focus on in her life.
Such as how she was supposed to be snuggling with her cat-son in her large bed that she was going to miss when she could find an apartment she liked. She'd actually been finally dozing with said cat-son atop her hip when she felt something calling to her, pulling her from the beginnings of sleep. She needed to go...? She thanked her house's layout that her parents slept a little further from her room so that when she henshined up and made her way to the small balcony she wouldn't be seen.
Of course it only ever worked best at night when there wasn't a risk of being walked in on by her parents or being seen by passing people. Like tonight.
Figuring it best to take Itsuki with her, she'd scooped up the cat and followed the song which would eventually lead them to the monument. With several other powered individuals?? Brown eyes turned to look around them, hoping to find some familiar faces in the crowd. Not that she really stood a chance to figure it out when the monument flashed and she was sure her world had gone white. Or dark at least? Regardless the waking world was something she was no longer a part of for a time.
When she awoke her first thought was to search for the cat she'd brought with her, Lacrimosa sitting up and looking around for her beloved cat-son. From what she could tell there were not nearly as many people in the room with her as there had been when they'd gathered and worry filled her as she stood. Would she and Itsuki have even ended up in the same room??
"Itsuki?" she called out, not seeing him at first.
It didn't help that it was distracting to look at the room she was in, trying to figure out what was going on with the walls and the lack of doors. And people were starting to wake up as well. She didn't like the look of this at all...
Gomorrah didn't know what the ******** was going on.
Ever since this piece of s**t magical monument bullshit appeared in the park, where he'd met that b***h that attacked his husband, things had been awful. There'd been a talking cat who's a** had sat on his clean counters. Itsoomi or maybe it was Itookpo, he couldn't remember.
And now there'd been some weird ******** music that had lured him out of his house and then he was trapped in some shitty a** space that looked like a child had decorated it with it's bland and beige walls with no doors and some crappy windows that reminded him that he was trapped.
Not to mention he was packed into a room with a bunch of shitty people he didn't even care about.
He felt weird, stormy eyes flicking across the faces of the gathered, arms folding over his chest.
If he was here maybe....
There he was.
Pushing through the people, shouldering them and generally being inconsiderate of their personal space as long as they were between him and his favorite person.
"P--Sodom," he called, immediately reaching for the man when he was close enough.

Alphubel slowly woke up from... whatever had happened. He didn't know. All he knew was that before he had been talking to his older brother, and they were trying to decide where to go for Jason's (Alph) birthday. And then suddenly they were no longer in Tom's apartment, and they were in some... room. It was creepy and everything that had happened still hadn't caught up with his brain yet.
All he knew, was that he could feel different types of auras, which meant that he had been powered up somehow, and that his staff was laying beside him. He let out a quick groan before grabbing it, almost afraid that something would happen to it if he didn't keep his hands on it while powered. He was still getting used to being a knight, and the lantern that his weapon had previously been had been much easier to carry around and keep with him.
He got up a bit, enough to where he was on his knees looking around the room and he could confirm now that he wasn't alone. He mentally checked himself to make sure that he wasn't hurting anywhere, before fully standing up and looking around. It seemed that they had been transported... somewhere. He didn't quite know where, but he figured that mysterious obelisk had something to do with it. It had just popped up out of nowhere after all.
He sighed and leaned on his staff a bit, hoping that they weren't here to do some gladiator style fighting where they had to kill each other to survive.

Corrupt Sailor Sweetite
The first thing she noticed was that her head was not being comforted by the soft, down-filled pillow she was used to feeling when it came time to wake up every day. No, it was resting on a hard surface - hard and cold - and when she struggled to collect her bearings, eyes widened as hands splayed out across the concrete.
H-How... had she gotten there?
There were plenty of people around her, all bearing some form of powerful aura surrounding them. Sweetite herself could recognize fellow Chaos members in their midst but the knowledge that there were others among them left her feeling unnerved, especially without her General around for guidance.
"Where are we?"
The raspy voice was familiar, sending her heart thumping in her chest as rosy eyes darted around the room. They settled on a blue figure - regal, despite the struggling the corrupt did to lift himself up from the ground.
"Fafnir?"
Sweetite's own rise was far less than regal, feathers ruffling and shifting as she scrambled to make her way up onto her heels. She could only imagine how mussed her hair was but her appearance was one of the last things on her mind for the time being.
Heels clicked against the concrete as she closed the gap between her and the other senshi. She recognized him from Zircon's introductions, his uniform and horns distinct and easy to pick out from her descriptions. An associate (underling sounded so blasé) of Zircon's own General, Labyrinthite, and a fellow corrupt senshi. He might not know any more than she did about where they were but if he was an associate Zircon trusted to be around, surely she was safe by staying close to him...
.....right?
"I'm so sorry for disturbing you, sir," Her tone was apologetic, words rushed as her hands began to rub against her bare arms nervously, "I'm Sweetite, General Zircon's subordinate. I... I don't know where we are either."
What she really wanted to say was she was unnerved and terrified, but something about admitting something so intimate and vulnerable seemed to only bring about far more bad than good in their situation.

Paul Jones was used to waking up in unfamiliar places.
He'd gone on one too many binges in his past, he'd fallen asleep on stakeouts and on buses or in stranger's cars or in other unsavory situations he didn't care to remember. Granted, most of those memories had occurred prior to his life straightening itself out so when violet eyes slowly pried themselves open, his first reaction wasn't to panic, but to groan.
How had he ******** up this time, was the first question to come to mind.
It didn't take a genius for him to realize that he wasn't Paul Jones, though, but the mysterious bullshit persona that he still didn't quite fully understand yet. His coat was beneath him, wrinkled and bunched up as he rolled himself over, doing his best to slowly regain full consciousness.
He couldn't remember s**t of how he got to this... wherever the ******** he was nor did he seem to know any of the other figures surrounding him. A wave of panic fell over him as he realized his last waking memory had been with his spouse who was no longer there but as the irritated voice called out his name from across the room, his heart settled back into place.
A hand appeared from the gathering before eyes settled on the handsome, pissed off looking face and Sodom couldn't help but grin as he hoisted himself up from his otherwise lax state.
"Miss me already?"
One beefy hand moved out to wrap itself around the taller man's waist as he finally took the time to examine the strange room they'd found themselves in. Whatever the <********> this place was, he was already feeling more relieved now that his partner in crime had been located.
.... that is, unless said partner in crime was about to have his safety endangered. Then all bets were off.

Mauvian Itsuki (stuck in human form)
Their scheduled evening snuggle was going very well, and the two were bonding while Zach was running errands for Miss Jada tonight. There were no distractions and plenty of lovely, warm blankets and soft, fuzzy cat fur. Itsuki figured this would be as close to heaven as he could get, drifting slowly into an easy rest.
Unfortunately, something was stirring from outside their home. Melody seemed to have heard it as well, and Itsuki was wide awake, ears twitching when she started to move. She scooped him up in the midst of the off-key song, moving to the balcony to henshin, unseen by her parents. Itsuki cloaked her signature to make sure no one else could discern where Sailor Lacrimosa happened to live. There was an unspoken understanding between the two, that this song must be investigated. It made Itsuki's ears itch terribly.
Gathered at the base of the monument, perched on Lacrimosa's shoulder, the true scope of this event came to light. Itsuki was stunned, counting upwards of thirty powered signatures on all his toes, plus ears and tail and was working on Lacrimosa's digits when they were all bathed in a warm, golden light. Everything went black.
When Itsuki awoke, he was flat on the floor of a beige-colored room, ears no longer itching, but...
Sitting up, Itsuki shook his head and realized... When did he turn into a person? OH NO. The power signature that he would give off in this form--! Ash-denka said not to use this form unless he was in space or in Headquarters!! In a panic, the Mauvian, curled himself up into a ball and realized he'd been in the company of Corrupt Senshi and their Negaverse counterparts. This was seriously BAD NEWS.
Lacrimosa's voice perked his lilac ears and he scrambled to his feet to find her while trying desperately not to run into any of the Chaos agents milling about. Being in human form meant he was easier to see... "Lacri-san! Lacri-san, nandesuka??" Being shorter than Lacrimosa by an inch or two, it was tempting to hide in her flowing robes, but as a Mauvian, it was his job to protect her. With this idea in his heart, Itsuki stood up straight on his bare feet, still not quite clearing Lacrimosa's head despite erect ears. "I didn't mean to become a human but... I... can't go back? Ehh...."
Some voices were ones he recognized. Ears swiveling, the Mauvian-turned-person recognized one particular Page and a lovely senshi he remembered. It was Sodom! He saved the Mauvian from Angelite not too long ago, and was... was that his husband? Taking up Lacrimosa's hand, her cat-son tiptoed over to Sodom's side and tapped him on the shoulder.
"Sodom-sama? You're here too? Daijoubu?"

Mithra groaned as she opened her eyes, wondering where the heck her comfortable bed had gone to. One minute she had been peacefully sleeping in on her bed, the next she felt cold, hard floor beneath her, and wondered for a moment if she had somehow rolled out of bed and her carpeting had disappeared.
That wasn't the case though, as she looked around her and saw that she definitely wasn't in her room anymore. She groaned. "Oh no, not again..." She said to herself, as she tried to pick herself up. This reminded her way too much of when she had been sucked into the mirrorscape and that stupid queen had kidnapped all of them. But this time it didn't feel like it was from the Mirrorverse. She sighed as she rolled over, now sitting on her behind and her legs stretched out in front of her, looking around.
She was not happy. Most of everyone who was here, she assumed against their will, were not any of her Dark Mirror allies, which made her even grumpier. She sighed, doing some stretches to make sure that nothing was wrong, before picking herself up and looking around the room a bit more. "Just need to find out who to punch..." She muttered to herself. Whomever had done this was going to get a punch in the face.
Hearing Itsuki's voice put her at ease and Lacrimosa turned from trying to discern the makings of the room they were in to find cat-son in not so cat form. Which explained why she hadn't taken note of him sooner, having been expecting him much smaller then he was currently. It hadn't helped that she'd gotten rather distracted trying to figure out the room they were in.
A glove covered hand moved to rest against his cheek before she pulled him into a small hug. She'd just been glad to know he was with her, not having to worry about them having been separated. She could worry about him here and not as opposed to not where she could see him.
"It's okay," she soothed, just glad he was alright. "I have the feeling that you're not in this form my choice and you may be stuck in it until we find out more about where we are. So deep breaths, okay? Everything will be fine."
She was going to make sure of it. There was no way she wanted to even think of having to relive any events similar to the circus, which she still found herself grateful that Itsuki hadn't been a part of. She just hoped for no major injuries to come to either of them lest Zach have a heart attack later.
Having been smoothing his hair while lost in thought, Lacrimosa found herself startled from said thoughts as her darling cat-son gently took her hand and moved them for someone he seemed to recognize. Which was a comfort to the senshi in pink as there didn't seem to be any faces she recognized at the moment.
A sense of both comfort and unease came at that knowledge and she wasn't sure how to handle that. Well aside from keeping herself close to the mauvian and making sure she could see him at all times.

Fafnir could count at least seven Order people by ruling out the Chaos dressed in black. The cat person was a surprise he wasn't entirely sure how to deal with... or entirely sure if the ears and tail were real, because how trippy would that be? Talking cats and ******** people with cat ears. This was his life now.
At least most of them were focused on other things for the moment. He kept a careful eye on the others as he pushed himself to his feet, his long hair trailing, as the only other corrupt in the group approached him. It was reassuring that he wasn't alone, but two against seven was not good odds, trained by Labyrinthite or not.
Fafnir?
"...Sweetite?" He had to dig into his memory for the mention, but he managed to pull a name out to put with the red hair. One of Zircon's, as she said. That made her pack, or close enough for this situation, and after giving her a quick once over, it also meant he was going to have to keep her close because if something happened to her, he didn't want to know what Labyrinthite would do about it. Training was hard enough, he wasn't inclined to find out what punishment was like.
"You're not disturbing me." He said as he reached for her arm, drawing her back towards the wall and away from the others. "I need you to stick close to me. Its just the two of us and there are seven of them, and god only knows what's going on. I need you where I can keep track of you, got ********, he was not ready for this. He hadn't done a solo mission yet, and here he was in the deep end. Another one of this new life's little delights.

As you milled about the beige-colored room, gazing out at Destiny City you left behind, something in the obelisk begins to shake. It’s deep and hidden but you feel the shockwaves like a small earthquake in your room. No debris is falling from the ceiling, but the light inside the room seems to dim slowly over time. Soon, barely any light could be detected save for the heartbeat-like pulsing of the electrical wire patterns scouring the walls, floor and ceiling. For a scant few moments, the shaking stops and everything is eerily quiet. You can hear your breathing and something that smells distinctively like burning wires reaches your nose.
Suddenly, the wall opposite the windows begins to lift, stone-on-stone grinding filling the room as light slowly floods your eyes. A whirring sound, though slight, seems to fill the air. Light pulses through the electrical wire pattern throughout this room.
This new room is similar to the room you were trapped in, but much, much larger. The ceiling is thirty feet high in this rectangular room, and a singular black door, eight feet tall, stands at the far end.
[THE FIRST TASK]
Once you set foot into this new room, several panels on the walls and floor begin to blink in various colors - red, blue, green, yellow, pink, purple, white. This pulsing begins for about one minute before ceasing. Every ten minutes, if nothing is pressed on the floor or wall, the pattern begins again.
You are to complete this complex pattern to open the door on the far end. Working as a team, you should be able to do it! However, if you take too long, the lights in the walls coalesce into a laser, zapping you. So… chop chop!
Welcome to your first task.

[Special Rules!]
Anyone with breath weapons or magic that slices, burns, dents or otherwise leaves markings will be able to use that magic to mark the order of some of the tiles. Each person can only use that magic ONCE, but everyone can add +2 to their next roll. If you are unsure about your magic, ask me! wink Super Sailor Acrucis has access to healing magic. She may opt not to roll to heal one person up to 10HPthree times in this room. You can roll once every half hour!
