Jin had been a healer in the Prism District for as long as he could remember. He had heard of the Great Weaver weaving b'alam knowing what they meant to do in their lives from the very start. Maybe that's what had transpired with the creation of him. He wasn't quite sure what to make of it,
but he had never question the talent he had been given. He did a good job,
tending to those who came to him. His tent was spacious and well lit and he had strict hours so he could maximize productivity while also maintaining his own well-being.

He would wake, eat and bath, then get to work. When his work day was over,
he would clean up, eat again and settle somewhere well-lit until evening fell.
The only interactions he had were with his patients or occasionally, the folks he traded his salves for other necessary items, like cloth or food. The social aspects of his life, platonic or romantic, were severely lacking, though he would not acknowledge such. He was a successful Tah. Anyone could see it.
Why would he need friends when he had success? So he kept working day after day.

And then one day, his schedule came to a stumbling halt. He was convinced there was something wrong with him. He gotten up that morning, but he didn't feel as motivated as he had in the past. There was a pain in his chest that hadn't been there before or if it had, it certainly had never hurt so terribly before. He closed his workshop for that day, something he hadn't done in...forever. It bothered him, but not as much as the pain he felt. Was he sick?

So he stumbled through the Prism District, seeking someone, anyone, who could help him. How was he, who never thought the absence of a friends was a problem, going to acknowledge that he was feeling lonely?

The air was crisp and fresh, filling every fiber of her being with the life that existed here in the Prism District. After having returned from traveling through the other districts Sitara, daughter of the ruling Magi, felt her paws pretty sore and went to the healer's tent to seek any type of aid he or she may provide. Being that she hasn't been in the Prism in a good while once she had grown into a young adult, the things around her have changed and progressed forward with bustling life and incredible skills of her fellow b'alam to make their lives easier. However once she had approached the tent of the healer...it was closed. Looking down at her paws she nodded to herself that she would endure longer as she turned away with the flow of her sheer scarfs and hanging crystals, her long braid main and pearls around her great horn began to draw attention and recognition amongst the others.

Sitara did not mind the stares or the glances of awe..she was the daughter of the Magi after all and her and her litter mates were among the most beautiful, according to one citizen she had encountered in another district. Lifting her head she greeted those that had stopped to stare at her, even stopping to speak a little bit with the citizens as her melodic voice carried over others who realized she was there among them. Excusing herself politely, Sitara gave a serene smile as she wanted to either look for the healer or simply find a place to rest. Yet one helpful citizen told her whom to look for of the healer as they noticed her having approached the tent. The Nan bowed her head to the citizen graciously that caused them to blush lightly then turned to find this healer.

It didn't take too long find the description of a healer with glasses, neck-length hair and a neck cover in green and gold. Grateful for the help from the citizen, Sitara made her way towards the Tah noticing that despite being surrounded by many citizens there seemed to be something solitary about the healer. Lengthening her strides Sitara reached up to the Tah's flank's speaking up clearly for him to hear her. "I beg your pardon, Great Tah, but are you the healer?"

Jin had been searching the paths of his district. Perhaps he was hungry, he had thought and was considering walking into another District to eat, when he was stopped by a fair voice. His tail bushed out in the recognition of a Nan's high voice and he closed his eyes. She who was behind him asked him if he was a healer, no, the healer. That must mean that she sought him personally.

She is a patient, not a Nan. True, she may very well be both, but to think of her as a Nan would curdle Jin's insides, leaving nothing, but awkward anxiety and that would help no one. She is only a patient. He insisted to himself and so he turned to her, ready to help.

Her appearance alone caused him to stagger. He pressed his lips together to prevent his maw from falling open. His tail looped around one of his back legs, in attempts to keep it from trembling. She wasn't just a Nan, she was beautiful. Looking her up and down, he quickly realized that she wasn't just beautiful, either, she was the daughter of the Magi.

Great Weaver... He sent up a prayer to help him get through this interaction and cleared his throat.
"Yes, I am a practiced healer; my name is Jin." He told her, relieved that his voice did not betray him. "My workshop was closed today; I did not intend to take on patients. There are many other capable healers in this district. However, the sounds of it, you are aiming to seek me out personally, am I correct?" He waited a beat and then asked. "Thus, I feel it would be rude to turn you away. Come, let us return to my shop, if you do not mind the short travel and on the way you can tell me what ails you."

Sitara smiled gently at the healer Jin before nodding. "Please forgive me, Tah Jin. I did not know of any other healers as I saw your tent first however I do not wish to trouble you if this is your day off. I understand that one should have moments of rest when caring for others." She said thoughtfully before tilting her head to the side. "It would not be rude to turn me away, Tah Jin. I will respect your need for rest..." Even if the pain in her paws were bringing her discomfort and it was shown by the lines around her eyes though she was doing a good enough job at hiding her discomfort.

"It is just my paws. They are sore and I'm afraid I have not been kind to them while on my pilgrimage throughout the districts as I've.....been stubborn to rest them and now I do not know if there is anything that will ease them." Light hued ears lowered slightly while her bi-color eyes of blue and orange lowered as well to the ground in guilt.

Jin listened closely to the Nantil as she explained that it was not him specifically that she'd been seeking out, so much that his tent was the first she had come across. His ears flicked at that, but he pushed it aside, especially when he looked at her now with a healer's eye. The fluttering in his stomach was still present, of course, but he was able to observe the lines around her eyes and the way that she shifted her weight almost imperceptibly, which brought his eyes to her paws.

She went on to confess that it was her paws that bothered her. She spoke of neglect to care for them. He didn't know what troubles she may have faced through her so-called pilgrimage, but he was certain the proper salve treatment would do just the trick.

"Are you able to walk on them for a moment longer? It won't take long to return to my tent from here. I will treat you, but you must take heed of what I tell you, for it's likely that one of the treatments you must take is to keep off your paws for a while. I will not treat a patient who will not listen to me." He warned, turning towards the direction of his tent, ready to walk on in that direction, if this Nan was willing.

After explaining her dilemma she listened closely and even observed the change in the healer by the manner of his warning to curb any temptation to cheat any treatment. Which of course Sitara was not going to do despite her heart tightening at the mention of possibly keeping off her paws for a while.

Pressing her lips, she nodded then followed behind Jin. "Yes Tah Jin, I am able to walk on them for a moment longer though how long would you say I would need to stay off them?" No doubt if he had to tell her as soon as possible she would have to take up residence here to heal before returning back on her journey to the starting point: Her home palace.

Then again...this could be an opportunity to immerse herself within this district as a citizen and not as the daughter of the Arch-Magus'. Perking up, Sitara smiled gently at Jin. "I will listen to you, Tah Jin and if it takes a good amount of time to ensure that your treatment is successful I will take up residence here. I do not wish to disobey and dishonor your kindness and help."
