The city of Jeldwin is not the place to be. Everything you can think of is wrong with it and its citizens are either rotten to the core or completely down trodden. Next to this shadow city is its polar opposite, North Park. Everyone hates the rich snobs from that place. Welcome to hell. Enjoy scream

NAME Kiyanna AGE 17 (senior in high school) RACE Caucasian GENDER female
FAMILY Has an infant half sibling. Mom is an escort and an alcoholic. Dad is remarried in the rich part of town.
BACKGROUND After Kiyanna's step mom found out she (the step mom) was pregnant, she threatened to leave her father if he didn't send Kiyanna away to boot camp (basically the step mom wants to have a family without Kiyanna / her dad's past). Due to lack of finances he decided to send her away to her biological mom's instead and pay her for her services once a month as a way to pay for child support and because she was the love of his life to begin with. Now Kiyanna lives with her estranged mom, unknowing of her parents deal. Kiyanna had attended private prep schools till her move and had always been an introvert yet short tempered book worm - which makes her appear snobby.
LOOKS: Red hair. Green eyes. Freckles. She can make even thrift store attire look like high end fashion.

Mondays were always the worst for getting out of bed in the morning. After just two days of sleeping in she wished to keep doing it. She had to help her family though. Mom was already off to work at the bakery for just today. She didn't eat breakfast, that was for the youngest of the family. Cloud had given him a five star meal of eggs, bacon, and toast with some jelly. She watched him leave for school and then started getting herself ready. There wasn't much to do. She ran a brush through her light colored hair and put some toothpaste in her mouth to brush. She'd just wear the clothes she'd slept in. Her jeans were dark blue, baggy, and had large cargo pockets, There was a tear in one knee that she never bothered to fix. Her t shirt was a v neck and long covering her butt. It was white in color and had dark blue double lines across the sleeves. She didn't bother wearing a bra, no one could tell anyway. She slipped a black over shirt on and left it open. Her dad was still passed out on the couch when she slipped on her black shoes and closed the door. She didn't bother with a bag since nobody brought books home and nobody read them anyway. She took in the morning air and listened to the gravel crunching under her feet. She avoided a few puddles and was passing by the shifty apartment building they lived near when she heard shouting. Not unusual at all for these parts so she kept walking until she heard a door slam and saw trouble. A new girl no doubt and she stood out terribly.

Kiyanna woke up to her sheets being pulled off her after her alarm sounded a second time. Her mom was louder than the alarm and Kiyanna couldn't imagine why she wasn't taking advantage of getting to know her estranged daughter. It's not like she wasn't getting child support. The scent of liquor answered Kiyanna's curiosity. "I'm up!" She yelled, kicking at the spot where her mom had been. Her shadow loomed in the door way as she continued her rant, refusing to allow Kiyanna privacy.
"You're taking forever to get up!" Kiyanna was already standing and ignored the comment while rubbing her eyes, hoping to clear her vision. "I can't believe after all those years of prep school you're this lazy!"
"We started an hour later, I'm not used to being up this early." Kiyanna tried being calm but this seemed to only irritate her mom more.
"Don't talk back to me!" Kiyanna glanced over at her mom as her frizzy strawberry blonde hair bounced erratically around her head. "I helped get you into that prep school!" Kiyanna toned out the rest of what she was saying as she struggled to put a bra on. "Don't turn away from me when I'm talking to you!" As Kiyanna grabbed a shirt, her mom grabbed part of it, trying to take it from her it ripped so Kiyanna grabbed a hoodie as her mom fumbled with the shirt.
"I'm leaving for school now." Kiyanna said as her mom threw her hands in the air, nearly spilling the last of her screwdriver on the floor. "FINALLY!" Her mom shouted as she let her exit her room. "I hope you don't make any friends!" Kiyanna opened the door and left, jumping a little as the door slammed.
"s**t, I forgot my backpack..." Kiyanna mumbled as she tried tugging her hoodie down, it refused to budge lower than her belly button. "Great start to the day." She wanted to shout it from the roof of any building in town and figured she'd spend her class time day dreaming of what building she could sneak into to do so.
Looking up, she saw another person about her age heading toward the school too, at first she couldn't tell if it was a girl or boy but saw slight bumbs under her shirt and wondered how her parents allowed her out without a bra. Kiyanna could feel her face tightening up as she tried forgetting about her mom but it didn't feel like it was much help. "Might as well stalk her to school and seem uninterested." Kiyanna thought, laying low as they continued on.

Cloud continued on to school. She made sure to keep herself within sight so the girl could follow her. They traveled out of the undeveloped part where the apartment was and found pavement. She walked in the middle of the street. It was a bit safer to keep away from alleyways. Every now and then she glanced over her shoulder or in between parked cars to make sure the pretty girl hadn't run into trouble. They passed by tons of bars and strip clubs that were always open. The closest thing to a store were the mini marts on each corner. Garbage lined the streets and clogged the drains. Even the air seemed to be clogged with smoke and unpleasant smells. Things cleared up a bit the closer they got to the school. A group of boys slithered out of an alleyway where they'd been smoking to gawk at the new treat. They started following her down the street and then started to close in. One slipped right passed her and blocked her way. "Well hello pretty thing" he smiled The others laughed from behind giving no room for Kira to slip away.

Kiyanna wondered why the other girl didn't walk on the side walk, a few cars sped past her, honking and shouting profanities, she simply kicked their bumper or slammed a fist down on their hood with a chuckle. "Show off." Kiyanna whispered under her breath, rolling her eyes. "She'll probably get run over one day for being so careless." She thought as a boy blocked her path. Her jaw clenched as he called her a pretty thing, her spine tensed as she heard two more boys laughing behind her.
"I'm Hector. What's your name?" The guy blocking her way leaned in close. He obviously didn't care about hygiene. Kiyanna pursed her lips together as her eyes darted to Cloud and then back to Hector. "If you won't give me your name, how bout you tell me if the carpet matches the drapes." All three teens laughed. A smack could be heard down the entire block, echoing off the buildings. A second thud sent Hector to his knees. "Damn Fire-Crotch, someone's got a short fuse!" Hector echoed.
"They should call you Echo, that's what you sound like when a girl hits you." Kiyanna shot back. Hector's friends could be heard saying "ooo" under their breath. "And you -" She turned at them, finger pointed, the skinny one tripped backwards as the other one tried hiding around the alley they just came from. "- two are pussies..." She chuckled before looking around for the girl she was originally following.
"What's going on over there?" Cree asked Cloud, walking up behind her from an ally way on the opposite side of the street than Kiyanna, Hector and his posy. Cree's blue hair was crazy bed head, he shook his face so his bangs would move outta his vision. "Think the new toy needs help?" He whispered, assessing the situation and assuming she had it.
Kiyanna finally spotted Cloud and saw there was a guy with blue hair next to her. He was very cute, she could feel her face burning up.
"Help me up at least?" Hector asked, trying to flirt one last ******** off..." Kiyanna stammered, stepping around him as quick as possible.

"Doesn't look like it" Cloud chuckled a little "Then again Hector has never really been a challenge" She reached forward and ran her hands through his hair really quick giving it a far less messy appearance. "Its definitely a Monday. You didn't even bother with your hair" She smiled some more and stuffed her hands into her pockets. They watched Kiyanna step around the trouble maker. She continued on the way to school but crossed over to the new girls side. It was only a block away. The school was a straight solid wall of white and windows. There were wide cement stairs that led up to the front doors. Sitting on the steps were two groups of people that were talking amicably. Cloud went dashing up to a young man with long blonde hair and bright green eyes, He was wearing a black hoodie with studs on it and a black tiger shirt. His jeans were skinny and black as well. Cloud gave him a soft kiss on the cheek and he slapped her softly on the butt. "Who's the girl?" he asked pointing to Kiyanna "Don't know yet. She followed me here like a puppy" Cloud teased A second boy who looked far less charming stood up behind them. His hair was cut short and black. His eyes were a simple brown. He had on a leather jacket, dark blue shirt with a skull, and torn light blue jeans. He had an eye brow piercing and a lip piercing. "You going to teach the puppy tricks?" he asked "So far she's fine on her own" Cloud said "Hey Cree you catch her name yet? Or are you loosing that sweet charm of yours?"

Cree rolled his eyes as the two other guys chuckled. "It's still here." He shot back sarcastically while grabbing his crotch. The guys chuckled again as Cloud rolled her eyes with a smirk and a quick 'yea yea' in response but eyed him as if you say 'prove it'.
Kiyanna walked up to the sidewalk lining the front of the school and felt the color run from her face as she looked at the metal detectors inside the doors and bars on the windows.
"Hey 'fire crotch'." Cree called out as if mocking an old friend. "I think your hair stole the color from your face. If you need help getting it back, come find me." Cree winked just as the bell rang. Kiyanna felt her face flush. "That's my girl!" He pointed at her with one hand as the other tested over his chest. With that he headed into the school, he needed to plot his next move.
Kiyanna let out the air from her lungs as most of the students vanished into the school. Cloud still sat on the stairs. "Is the office by the front door?" Her eyes were pretty much begging cloud for help.

"Come inside pup" she laughed a bit "We dont bite. much" She easily passed through the metal detectors and then turned to the right. The office was there. A stern looking woman was sitting behind a small open window. "New student" Cloud offered and got no reply The woman just blew her gum into a bubble and let it pop. Cloud leaned against the opposite wall and let Kiyanna explain who she was. The woman rolled her eyes a bit and handed her some papers. "Now scram" she growled and closed the small window. "Whats your first class? I can get you there too if you need" cloud offered

Kiyanna felt her arms shaking as she held up her schedule. "Uh, um, sorry one second..." she mumbled, glancing between Cloud and the paper. "Senior home room, PE, lunch, art, English..." the more she spoke the faster and quieter she got.
Looking up, her eyes met with cloud who seemed to be waiting patiently. Kiyanna's face flushed in surprise; maybe the girls were nice here after all, at least compared to the guys.
As Cloud started walking, keeping an eye on Kiyanna the second bell rang. "Crap I'm late - I mean we're late - oh s**t I'm so sorry!" Kiyanna apologized. As the door opened.
"Cloud You're late but I see you've brought some fresh meat so you're forgiven." Kiyanna couldn't control her face as the teacher stood in the doorway in a sensual pose and professional yet sensual work attire. Her jaw hung open in shock.

"You can close your mouth now" Cloud put a finger under Kiyanna's chin "I know she's a lot to look at. Just don't sit on her desk." "Now Cloud that was a long while ago" she spoke softly "and was it really so bad" "No I suppose not but it was still a rather devious trick. Plus I dont want your pet attacking mine" Cloud put a hand on Kiyanna's back and gently pushed her through the door. Inside everyone was still talking freely among themselves. "Take a seat anywhere you like love" the teacher took her place up front Cloud went to sit with the two boys from before. They all shared this homeroom class together. She sat down on top of the desk with her feet in the seat. "I can't come out tonight" she grumbled "Since when do you have a curfew" her pierced friend asked "None of your business Justin" she growled The softer more attractive boy stroked her hair. "Its fine" he smiled "there will be other opportunities" "You're too gentle Griffith" Justin complained "How are we ever going to win?"

Eyes glanced up as loud voices became whispers and giggles. Kiyanna looked around and was relieved as she found a spot next to the guy Cloud called Justin while the other guy seemed to flirt with Cloud. The four of them created a square in the back of the room which comforted Kiyanna.
"Win?" She asked. The other three looked at her, almost shocked she spoke. "Win what?" She asked just in case her question wasn't clear enough and to prove she could interact. It seemed like everyone was sill starring and whispering.
"Hey!" A loud whip sound echoed at the front of the room. Everyone looked forward. Miss Teacher had slapped a yard ruler against the chock board. "New toys are for play time, aka lunch break," Everyone chuckled including Miss Teacher. "So now all eyes on me!" She nearly shouted playfully, leaning over her desk, her chest nearly popping outta her shirt.
As she covered previous homework, Kiyanna realized no one had done it but Miss Teacher didn't seem mad or surprised. They quickly moved onto the lesson plan: how to make it through a work shift in minimal pain. Kiyanna was shocked and again couldn't keep her jaw from almost dropping to her knees.
"Is she serious?" Kiyanna couldn't help asking Justin as the door opened and the blue haired boy from earlier walked in.
"Cree, late as always." Miss Teacher noted as he made his way to the back of the room. Other than that she kept teaching.
"Fire crotch." Cree stood next to Kiyanna. "You're in my seat but I guess this is my seat now." He motioned at the seat next to her. The student in it packed her things and moved to an empty desk; she seemed to act like her moving was for the better good and kept glancing at Cree as if love struck.
"You could have taken that seat." Kiyanna mumbled, glancing at the girl. "Or sat on her lap... it seems like she'd enjoy that..." the girl glared at Kiyanna as Cree refused to break eye contact with Kiyanna.
"I'm itching for you though." Cree replied.
"What is up with this school?" Kiyanna looked at Cloud, ignoring Cree. "Is there an over sexualized curse on the property or something?!"

"There is a fight night going on" Cloud said "everyone gets together and either competes or watches the fighting. We tend to participate." They were quiet for a while until Cree showed up. Cloud laughed at Kiyanna's suggestion. "maybe there is a curse but we like it that way" she said "Its high school. Everyone is screwing someone or multiple someone's" She glanced at Cree who could have any woman he wanted. "You're going to make every woman hate her" she warned playfully The lesson finished before the end of class so everyone was free to do as they pleased. Everyone started to gather around Kiyanna. Some of the students had friendly intentions while others had more devious ideas.

Kiyanna's face turned red at Cloud's comments, eyes wide as Cree smirked. Standing up, his body leaned toward Kiyanna; his eyes looking down at her as his hand raised to comb through her hair.
"Oh you know how petty the girls are around here." Cree smirked, winking at three girls who had migrated to the back to get a better look at Kiyanna. One girl stepped forward, touching Cree's arm.
"I'm not petty, am I?" The girl didn't hide her flirting. Cleavage jiggled as she flipped her hair while gently tugging at Cree's arm. Kiyanna couldn't stop her eyes from rolling, luckily she wasn't directly facing this girl, as she tuned she was awe struck by a black haired preppy goth in a spaghetti strap and short red and black plaid skirt with knee high leather boots.
"Oh you're the queen of petty and those are your slaves - run while you still can!" Cree laughed as the two girls glared. "Go back to cheer practice Leila."
"You have a goth cheer team?" Kiyanna asked, her voice a hesitant whisper. Cree laughed hysterically as the group of girls all stared her down.
"They cheer the fighters on in hopes to go home with the winner." A male voice boomed over Cree's shoulder. "That sex curse Cloud was talking about needs an outlet of some kind." Cree laughed at his friend's comment. "Watch out, this guy has won a few times." He wrapped his arm around Cree's neck before Cree pushed him away.
"Sam!" Cree shouted. "Shut up!" Sam's laugh echoed in the class as the bell rung.
