Whimsical Blue I SUCK SORRY ABOUT THE WAIT ;; It had been a few months since the Mauvian realized he could take on the form the lovely Burmilla displayed to him all that time ago. Ever since meeting the cat called Ash, the lilac point had worked diligently to follow in her toebean footsteps. Not knowing exactly what needed to be done would be a deterrent to most, but Itsuki kept the image of Ash, stunning Ash with flowing blue hair and a cape, in his mind’s eye at all times. Ash (metaphorically) followed Itsuki wherever he went, and it was her brilliance and a sense of duty that kept the cat working as best he could. Several awakenings were tucked under his obi now, and his beloved Themisto was an eternal senshi by his own paw. Surely, Ash would be so proud! It was this desire to thank Ash and show her his new form that led Itsuki to the Mauvian Headquarters hidden in Destiny City. Scanners found his forehead star to be accurate and allowed him inside, not to be followed. Itsuki had sent her a message earlier, asking where she might be, and true to technophile fashion, she happened to be in the Headquarters workroom that evening. Kitty Communicators were so helpful! With a spring in his step and music in his little fuzzy heart, Itsuki practically danced his way into said workroom to try and find his senpai. She was distinctive, with a visor and silky coat with a pedigree to match. “Ash-denka~!” he called, padding around the main area first before poking his head into other rooms that Ash might seek for privacy. Ash-denka~! Ogenki desu ka~?”

The sound of poppy, high energy electronic music thrummed through the cat headquarters, no doubt annoying anyone who wasn't Ash and happened to be trying to use the shielded rooms there. The Burmilla wasn't particularly concerned with their like or dislike of her k-pop music selection because; A) she was in her OWN room, even if the door was wide open, and B) she was pretty sure she had headquarters to herself today.
The music helped her focus on the item sitting in pieces on top of her work bench, her little pointed ears trained forward with rapt interest. The cushioned stool she sat on, legs crossed below her, floated at the perfect height for her table, courtesy of the fancy tech she'd found and promptly claimed in this new wing. How it managed it's gravity defying feat, she had no idea, and some day she was likely to take it apart to see if she could figure it out... but for now, she appreciated taking advantage of the function it was designed for... she assumed.
The sound of a cheerful 'ogenki desu ka?' from out in the hall made her ears twitched above her blue curls and Ash drug herself out of her hyper-focused state to wheel about and blink bleerily at the door.
What time is it? Her muddled mind managed to garble together as she rubbed her eyes, knocking the visor on her head ascew. A tap of a finger dialed back the magnification she had turned up for the tiny parts she was working with and the humanoid Burmilla stretched, popping joints all down her back, through her knees to her bare, spread toes. It was a long, luxurious stretch, and by the end of it, she felt much more herself.
"Nani...?" Japanese was not her native language, but the response seemed appropriate, considering who she suspected that voice belonged to.

The k-pop didn't bother him at all, and in fact, Itsuki was so focused on trying to find Ash that he hardly noticed. Headquarters was a wonderful establishment for Mauvian kind, allowing them to work and sleep in peace and relative safety. When Ash had answered him, the little cat's trill probably alerted her to his excitement. Before thinking any further, Itsuki put the pedal to the metal and dashed in the direction of Ash's voice (and the music, of course). "Ash-denka~! You won't belie---" His sentence was stopped once Itsuki was sharing the room with the technophile, her human form on display in its full glory, just like the very first night they met. Itsuki was overjoyed. "Utsukushii!!" he cried, practically hopping up and down with excitement. "Ash-denka! This is what you showed me all that time ago, isn't it? And you can stay this way in Headquarters?? Sugoiiiii~!! You had said you couldn't keep that form for very long because it was very dangerous but it's so beautiful, Ash-denka!! You're amazing!! You inspired me so much that night! Domo arigato gozaimasu~~" Her cape, her visor, her thumbs and toes WOW!!

Green eyes blinked slowly, and almost, almost Ash blushed at the gush of attention she got when the little male cat rushed into the room. She preened, because of course she did, but it was more subdued than she would have otherwise. Sure, everyone loved her and she was amazing and beautiful and everything he said, but it wasn't often people were so... enthusiastic about it. It was almost embarrassing, in a good way.
Playing it cool, even as her silky tail twitched back and forth, Ash leaned back on an arm and waved away the compliments with slender fingers.
"Darling, Headquarters has shielding, you know. We can wear our human forms here and its safe as can be. I would be very upset if there was nowhere on this planet I could be myself." The Burmilla's ears twitched and she glanced over the younger cat, her fingers idly playing with a strand of her long hair. "You came rushing in here calling for me. Was there something you needed? Not that I'm not happy to see of you of course, or that you aren't welcome here or something..."
Her fingers flicked again to dismiss that, her voice stumbling to a halt. He was kind of young. And kind of awkward. And just... so full of energy, but she honestly couldn't say it wasn't rather nice to see him again. She didn't have a lot of... friends, in the Mauvian community, though she certainly didn't have any enemies. Just people she knew, people she maybe was okay being around, and people she wasn't. Itsuki was creeping himself into the space Snowball usually occupied, that of 'someone she might consider a friend maybe'.

Shielding? Itsuki remembered hearing about that but... probably forgot it, as it didn't apply to him at the time. The fact that Ash could assume, and keep, her human form would be remembered this time around. Itsuki was certain his mentor and teacher would be pleased to know her student had been paying attention the night they met, and would be paying close attention thereafter. The Burmilla had inspired him to achieve greater heights, and he had no one to thank but her. "Ash-denka! Ie, I don't need anything! I just had to show you something!! Ash-denka, you'll be so proud~ Watch!" Chest to the floor of Headquarters, Itsuki's fuzzy butt wiggled for a moment while he counted down in Japanese. "Ichi... ni... san!" With a tremendous backflip, the little Mauvian's body glowed with a lilac-colored light, changing shape and size until the form that landed was barely recognizable as Itsuki. At five-foot-four, a young man of maybe sixteen years stood before the beautiful Burmilla with a smile as bright as the sun itself. "Yatta! Ash-denka, I did it! I did it! You were so beautiful that night that I said to myself, I want to be as amazing as Ash-denka someday! And... I worked very hard, just like you said! What do you think~?" emotion_yatta

Ash wondered if this was how teachers felt when a young student came rushing to show them their first stumbling attempts at something they had learned. Or maybe older sibling was a better way to think of it, since she didn't really feel like she had taught Itsuki anything. Just imparted information he probably could have found out on his own...
She was still musing over it when he wiggled and jumped, suddenly flashing light in a way she recognized. THAT pulled her attention and she pursed her lips in an 'oooo' of unfeigned delight. He had learned how to take human form!
Ash clapped her hands together as she bounced to her own feet... only then realizing that he was taller than she was. Not by much, but he still had a few inches on her. She fought the urge to scowl peevishly, schooling her face back into her pleasant smile. It wasn't his fault, really. If they could change something like that, she would have done it already, after all.
"Ah, congratulations!" She said as she wiggled from foot to foot, putting aside the height difference to get back to enjoying the accomplishment. It seemed like everyone was managing human form these days, but she still remembered when that had seemed like a rare and special goal. It meant more of them were out there, doing what cats did best, and helping Order to defend this planet.
And who wouldn't want fingers, really?
"I think its wonderful." She said with a firm nod, her hands finding her hips. "I'm sure you worked very hard for it. It means you'll be even more valuable now to the senshi you help."

"Uwah, you really think so, Ash-denka? It's not as beautiful a form as you have, but... I'll be second-best!" emotion_kirakira Human hands on human hips, Itsuki rocked back and forth with pride. His outfit was more street-chic than technophile, but that's what made each Mauvian so unique. No two really looked alike, as far as Itsuki was aware. Ash, being his mentor, was his absolute favorite. "I've been working hard, awakening senshi and trying to direct Themi-chan along his path. He's an eternal now! And Lacri-san is a Super now, so... that's very good, isn't it! I don't have as many senshi under my obi as you do, Ash-denka, but maybe someday, we'll be tied." Maybe, maybe not. All Itsuki really care about right now was the fact that the Burmilla was pleased with his progress. One thing that tickled the back of his mind was something Ash had mentioned in passing the first night they'd met. "Ash-denka, you had said there was something after this? What could that be, Ash-denka? Surely you would know. You know everything!" And, to the lilac point, that wasn't a brown-nosing compliment. As far as he was concerned, Ash really did know everything!

Ash practically swelled with the praise he heaped on her, shamlessly bathing in it.
Not as beautiful a form as you have... She pursed her lips as she ran her hands through one of the tails of her blue hair before giving it a flick and a shake of her head to settle it. She was beautiful, she knew that, and she was quite pleased he recognized it. No one else paid her quite as many compliments or... fawned as much as Itsuki did and Ash half wondered why she didn't spend more time with him. Quenton was ever attentive, as was Colin and Nadia, but none of them were quite as... enthusiastic about it.
"Oh you. You're going to give me a big head." She said as she waved her fingers at him. Her smile faulted when he suggested he might reach as many senshi as she had, but again, she pushed that aside as a selfish thought and focused back on what he was saying.
Some question about something after this? Ash tapped her lips for a moment before she answered, feeling suddenly coy. So there was something she could still do that he couldn't, how marvelous! Something for him to grow in to and something she could still feel good about knowing. Someday, of course, he would have everything she had, but really that just meant she would have to settle for taking pride in having helped him along and seen him grow. That's how she looked at senshi, wasn't it? He didn't have to be different.
Ash flicked her hand up and a shape spun into it, twirling around her delicate finger before she caught it, spaghetti-western style. Sleek and flashing little lights, she winked as she brandished what seemed to be a... ray gun. It fit her hand perfectly, all shiny and bright.
"Well now, see... there was an asteroid that fell in the city a few years ago, and we've found that if you can get your paws on a piece of it... you can access a bit of the power that senshi use. Here, let me show you." She grinned as she twirled her gun again, and when she caught it, she leveled it at the other cat.
"Ash power, Make-up!" The smaller female said as she lifted her gun, pulling the level to make it whiz and whirr above her head. Her form broke apart like pixel bits thrown in a blender, but when they fizzled back into her place, she had a new outfit to slow of and the aura she had always given off had dampened itself down to something a bit more manageable.
"Ta-da!" Ash said with a happy squeal, stroking a pose with her legs apart, hand on hip and the gun up by her face. "Mauvian Sailor Ash, reporting for duty! Pew Pew!"
She laughed as she played with her gun, looking far too smug for her own good.
"So, what do you think?"
