Additional information: The weapon is designed to function both as an artillery piece and as an anti-tank vehicle, With a similar hull to the M1 scorpion, it deviates by being slightly larger and having a massively oversized turret, designed to fire either low velocity 155mm howitzer shells as a self propelled artillery piece, or high velocity 155mm howitzer shells as an anti-tank weapon. The weapon represents a significant improvement over the 120mm and 130mm rheinmtall guns, and uses nearly 100 pounds projectiles that require an autoloader to properly function. The autoloading system is a belt fed conveyor system with a temporary rotary magazine, similar to a revolver, that temporarily stores rounds before loaded in to the firearm. Up to 8 rounds can be stored in the temporary revolving mechanism to speed up the rate of fire, however Due to the unmanned turret significant savings in size can be made, but due to the massive volume of ammunition being stored this is largely lost. Significant means are undertaken to reduce the recoil of the weapon, including a recoiling barrel, a massively oversized pepperpot style muzzlebreak, and more importantly a forward reciprocating mass, powered in part by the expanding gases of the round, to help push a mass forward to counteract much of the felt recoil of the weapon. Despite all these measures, the vehicle still possesses substantial recoil, and uses it's large mass and track system to help mitigate this.
