Shinsuke Nakamura, CWF's 2018 Royal Rumble winner was backstage becoming prepared for his match tonight. He stood in the locker room, isolated from the rest of the men and women performers to do his stretches. Nakamura would stretch his long legs, often used to deliver intense and vicious kicks to his opponents in the style he adopted, Strong Style. A style of wrestling introduced by the great, legend, the first IWGP Heavyweight Champion Antonio Inoki. And now, decades later it is carried on by another Japanese star into the states. Shinsuke Nakamura would place his gear out on the floor, admiring the red and black colors that became synonymous with his character. Shinsuke would change into his gear to become ready for his match, drenching his hair in water to give a rock star look. A CWF crew member came to the locker rooms to inform Shinsuke his match would be coming up soon. Nakamura would get into the zone, while walking through the backstage area of the arena to the gorilla position. Shinsuke warmed his muscles up in gorilla, while being talked to by a producer. Shinsuke got ready for his cue, ready for the crowd to explode in happiness.
The lights would go out, as the beginning guitar of Shinsuke Nakamura's theme song, The Rising Sun, would begin. Green audio waves played on the visual screens on the stage. A few seconds into it, flashing red dots would replace the audio waves, before a flashing of red light appeared on the screen. Silence ensued only for a few seconds, and when it broke the name SHINSUKE NAKAMURA would appear on the screen. In the center of the stage, stood Shinsuke as strobe lights hit his body, making it hard for the fans to see him completely. This wasn't an entrance for those with epilepsy. Shinsuke moved his arms and hands in stiff movements. Nakamura would walk from out of the shadows, allowing the lights to return and his video packages to appear on the screens around the arena. He made his way down the ramp,doing his signature taunts that were much like dancing. "Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL! The winner will go on to face the champion of their choosing at WrestleMania. Introducing first, from Kyoto, Japan.. He is the winner of the 2018 CWF Royal Rumble... Shinsuke Nakamura!" Shinsuke's hands made movements similar to conducting a band or drumming, his arms crossed. He would make his way all the down the ramp, his movements being intensified. He turned the corner to the steel steps. He would then climb up the steps, and entered the ring. On one of the sides of the ring, he would grab the top rope, and hit his signature YeaOh! taunt, bending backwards with such flexibility. A single spotlight hit Shinsuke, presenting his graciousness. Shinsuke's entire body would hit the mat. He would then get to his feet, and back into the corner.

Aleks Mason had arrived to CWF, looking to win the CWF Championship from his greatest adversary, yet came up short. He entered the Rumble match, but was eliminated by The Game. However tonight he would receive one last shot. If he could beat Shinsuke Nakamura in singles competition, Aleks Mason would go on to the MAIN EVENT of CWF's WrestleMania. Since his shoot promo, Mason had arrived to every show without Alyssa Blaire, even tonight. Mason stayed secluded in his locker room the entire night, preparing himself for the match by doing various warm ups, getting into his gear, and trying to get into the dangerous zone he had been in the night he won his world championship in another company. Mason was shadowboxing when a CWF producer knocked on his door to inform him his match was up. Mason would grab some athletes tape as he made his way out the room. While he walked backstage towards Gorilla Position, Mason would be wrapping his fists up. By the time Aleks got to Gorilla, Shinsuke was halfway through his entrance. Mason would pace back and forth, waiting for his entrance.
Mason's theme song would hit, without its usual intro, and his graphics would appear on the screens. Pushing through the curtains, Aleks made his way into the lights and view of the cameras. Mason stood on the top of the ramp, staring down his opponent in the ring. Without a single thought, he began marching his way down the ramp. He refrained from looking at fans, or even letting them touch him. Once down the ramp, Mason would leap up onto the apron. Despite usually displaying his respect for the ring by wiping his boots, he would not do so tonight. Instead, he would simply enter the ring and quickly charge towards Shinsuke, however the referee would push him back into his corner. Mason would stand there as his theme faded away, awaiting the match to begin.

Shinsuke Nakamura would stand in his corner across from Aleks Mason, someone he has never met inside the ring. He would brush his hair all over to one side, while the referee checked if both men were ready. Once they were, he would signal for the bell to be rung. Shinsuke would leave his corner, circling the ring.

Mason would exit the corner, mirroring Shinsuke around the ring. He'd be the one to move in first, attempting to collar-and-elbow tie up to begin the match

Shinsuke would accept the lockup from Aleks. As the two struggled for control, Shinsuke would begin to push Aleks towards the ropes.

Aleks would be pressed back first into the ropes. The referee would begin his count for Shinsuke to break, otherwise he'd be disqualified

Shinsuke would hear the count from the referee, and before the count of 5 Shin would release the hold, laying his head on the chest of Aleks Mason and swinging his arms around.

Aleks would feel relief as the hold was released, but then Shinsuke would place his head on Mason's chest. Aleks looked down at his opponent with a look of confusion as the fans cheered these mind games. Mason would mouth the words, "What the ********> before shoving Shinsuke off of him.

Shinsuke would stumble back after being shoved. He would push his hair out of his face, lean his upper body back, and taunt Mason as he yelled, "COME ON!"

Following Shinsuke's taunting, Mason would come towards the Royal Rumble winner with a quick strike.
