[PRP] Shouldn't be doing this... [Nafasi/Sezulwini]

Leaving the pack without an escort was prohibited. She knew this, and wanted to try. She had to try. Surviving on her own was something she had to prove to herself, and to her mother. Everyone knew why she was suddenly Heir. Her elder sister had fled the pack completely because of how hard their mother was breathing down her neck about the lessons she had to learn to become Queen. Honestly the yellow female wanted to bolt, but she also didn't want anyone else to have to deal with this weight. It was a heavy, heavy weight, the title.

"Imagine how mother feels," she muttered to herself, dipping under a fallen log along the pack borders. Not too much longer now and she'd be in completely new territory for herself. It was near nightfall, the crickets were chirping, and the air was sweet with the promise of spring rain.

Sezulwini was out wandering he didn't have a direction he wanted to go, so he quickly found himself at the border of a pack land. He didn't know anything about the pack that lived there. So he stayed on the other side since it was not his home and he did not want them looking on him as an invader and attacking him. Sezulwini had been traveling as a rouge since he was young because his mother died when he was young and he never knew his father. So he had learned to take care of himself from an early age,

He breathed in the air that held the promise of rain as he moved along the border and then spotted the yellow female he wondered if she was a border guard. He bowed his head to her and said "Greetings I am Sezulwini. I am just passing by. I mean your pack no harm." He also hoped she knew he wanted no harm to come to him since he would be helplessly outnumbered by whatever pack lived here. He looked past her wondering what her home was like. He had never been part of a pack so knew nothing about that sort of life.

The sudden voice that came out and spoke to her made the yellow female jump and yelp. She was very clearly not a guard from that reaction, and the fact she really wanted to jump in the nearest bush and hide until this stranger went away. It was different meeting pack members versus rogues. But she wanted to do this.

She forced herself to calm down, her blue eyes closed, several deep breaths were taken. After a sigh exhale, she opened here eyes and looked around and spotted the male that was talking to her. He wasn't a pack member, but his coat was beautiful. Nafasi found herself wandering closer and looking him over. He was the complete opposite of her in every way. She was sunny and yellow, with sky blue eyes. He was the night sky, quite literally, and even his eyes were dark. her ears perked forward as she started to relax.

"I'm Nafasi. ....You should move a bit away if you want the pack to think you're harmless." She had to keep her voice down. Guards could be headed here because of her yelp.

Sezulwini was somewhat relieved he hadn't run into a guard but then who was this female and why were they wandering the border was that safe for a pack female?? Then again rogue females traveled the rogue lands alone every day. But had this female been raised protected? Were they softer of foot then the rogue females? Many questions ran through his mind as he stood there staring at her. Before his brain clicked and he heard what she had said. "Oh, I'm sorry." He moved back from the border a bit but still looking at the female. "So what brings you to the border if you are not a guard Nafasi? Are you a hunter perhaps?" He asked curiously was this female strong or was she a protected flower looking for a bit of adventure?

She watched as he backed up, and stayed on her side of the boarder. She didn't know this male, and he could honestly attack her at any point. Nafasi sat down on her haunches, blue eyes staring out at this other dog while she tried to figure out what he was doing here exactly. Not many dogs found their pack, even by accident.

"You don't need to know my rank," she said easily enough. Nafasi didn't need to spread that she was heir to the throne with anyone. "You also haven't introduced yourself. Why should I talk about myself further?"

Sezulwini blinked at her when she refused to tell him anything and he blinked again when she said he hadn't introduced himself. "Did you not hear me when I introduced myself as Sezulwini and said I meant you no harm??" He was rather confused by this female. Perhaps she was the mad female of the pack and that was why she wandered the edge of the land alone undefended. Sezulwini decided he would reserve judgment of the level of her sanity till he could get her to speak more of herself or perhaps he would simply move on.

Oh she messed up. The yellow female flushed hard and looked to the side. She hadn't heard him! She wasn't used to this. It was more pressure than in the pack. Okay, no. She had to do this.

Her blue eyes turned back to him and just gave a little noise. "I apologize. I ...wasn't listening apparently. Sezulwini? Okay." She mentally said his name a few more times before she relaxed again and just let her tail move very slowly behind her. He probably thought Nafasi was crazy. She certainly was acting like it. In the pack she didn't have this kind of anxiety, this kind of mistake.

"I ...want... to prove a point to my mother. She thinks I can't... make it by myself."

Sezulwini cocked his eyebrow "How do you intend to prove to your mother that you can take care of yourself? Hunting? Going off on your own into the rouge lands?" Sezu pondered to himself and to her. "I warn you the rouge lands are not to be taken lightly there are dangers out there. Lions, hyenas, other packs of wild dogs. " He didn't want to see this sweet female dead food for the birds in the rouge lands it would be a waste of a life to just prove herself to her mother.

"That's exactly how." She was trying so hard to build confidence in herself. The yellow female knew she could do this.

"I know! But I need to prove... to everyone that I'm a lot stronger than the think. I want to show her, that I'll be the best leader I can be." Nafasi just let it loose that she was the Heir of her pack, even though she'd just literally said he didn't need to know. Then again, maybe he would think leader of soldiers or something.

"Thank you for your concern, but you can't scare me off of this path."

"Is doing it alone the only way to prove yourself?" He asked her simply "There is nothing I can do to stop you.." He said since he wasn't a member of her pack he had no right to run to her family even if he knew them and tattle on her not that he would anyway.

Nafasi paused a little when he asked if she had to do it alone. While she wanted to say she did, the yellow female knew her mother had help from her first daughter, and some of the pack mates from the past pack. So her ears flicked back and forth as she considered his question.

"No. I don't have to do it alone," she responded, finally. "....I just don't know anyone. I don't want to bring anyone from the pack. They'll stop me..."

He nodded understanding "Then if you'll accept I will go with you and teach you to survive in the rouge lands." He said simply.

Blue eyes stared at the starry night male and just gave a low noise. She wanted to say no, but she wouldn't.

"....Thank you. I... I would really like you as a teacher, I think." He'd been really nice so far, not pushing her to go back to her pack, not pushing her for more information about her.
