Since coming back to the house, Regan would've said it had gotten more lively. Prissy and Suri were quite the pair together, and she had heard through some small grapes that the two had quite the grudge with each other over some sort of food. Which made her curious is Suri was the one that left all the frozen meals in the freezer?
Not that she had cooked a couple for both her and Prissy and Chase. They were delicious and easy on the stomach, and Regan wasn't used to overly rich decandant flavors either. Her diet always consisted of easy to eat things. Crackers, tuna or bland foods.
Even now, as she came to the kitchen to peek in the fridge, she pulled the makings out for a very plain ham sandwich. Something, she thought, just to fuel her through another couple of hours. Her gaze trailed over leftover pink and red valentines candies, some pristine and some destroyed.
Another exciting thing had happened in the kitchen, with the chaos cats they all knew making this their personal puking spot during christmas. It made her wonder if the kitchen was cursed.
After she finished her sandwich, she cocked her head at one of the boxes, leaning over to read the label that clearly said:
To: Theodore, The candy King
From: Lace! Happy Valentines day!
Who was the candy king Theodore? Wasn't....Wasn't Theodore Prissy's cat?

Theodore planned his days in the pack mansion carefully. There were two cats who were conisdered regular occupants besides himself that he didn't care to deal with on most days. Momewrath was simple enough, he was clearly a cat with an attitude that liked that stupid man his mistress was infatuated with, but he couldn't talk and knew when to slink off.
The same couldn't be said about the turd mauvian that thought he was hot s**t.
Thinking about him had the persian making a disgusted face as he padded into the kitchen, hat on his head and bowtie pristine.
Immediately he took note of the stranger in the kitchen and pink eyes narrowed as he carefully slunk forward to retrieve the treat the less turdy kitten had left him.

Regan felt the change in silence almost immediately, mostly because she was used to the quietness in the kitchen, and soft padded feet disturbed it.
She expected to see Silk padding in, because she didn't know much about Theodore beyond that she saw him at the Christmas party. He seemed not to get along with the smaller kitten, but she supposed that was the way of cats.
Her head turned to look down, and offer the kitten a corndog when she was welcomed instead with a dapper hat and bowtie clad fuzzier cat. Her gaze lingered with it before she took the box labelled to the candy king.
"Candy King?"

Theodore knew that the waifish blonde with blue frost tips lived in the house. He knew that she existed but his interactions were minimal. She was quieter than mice supposedly were, only appeared when stupid Chase called for them or when she needed something, like food he supposed, and he'd yet to interact with her properly.
Parties weren't the best for proper introductions when someone insisted on being extra and bringing a new member into their pack during one.
She at least was smart enough, unlike some creatures to recognize his air of regalness and at her tentative question he held himself taller and straighter. With his chin tipped up he managed to look down at her while looking up at her.
"Who is attempting to address me?"

She wasn't sure how to respond to 'attempting' since she was addressing him. So instead she hid the corndog back in the microwave, intent on to call Silk back down at some point and let him know it was there instead.
Her gaze didn't leave the guardian cat with his fancy hat and regal like appearance though. She had to carefully tread on this one. Unlike Faust, she didn't think she could bribe Theodore with food.
Her hands reached over and brought the box down to him.
"This was address to the Candy King. I was unaware we had royalty in the household." She tilted her head, "You're Theodore, Prissy's guardian, are you not?"

The box piqued his interest and without much thought, the persian was trotting forward, nose wrinkling as he sniffed the air and then the box once he was before it. "I am the Candy King," he proclaimed proudly, entire body shuffling with pride when he tossed his head back while being mindful of his hat.
"I am privileged to serve Miss Prissy, yes," he answered, making sure that Regan understood that being in Miss Prissy's company was something to be treasured from his tone alone.
"Who are you?" Pink eyes blinked, narrowing when he went to sniff her hand.
He had, of course, seen her around before but they'd never really been introduced. Not even at the party where that one man was brought into their folds.

She didn't understand how a cat could have so much attitude in one little body, but here she was. Meeting Theodore, Silk AND Faust who all had attitudes for cats. She truly just didn't understand.
"It's nice to meet you, Sir." Regan inclined her head respectfully, though it was mostly because he was in fact Prissy's cat and she didn't want to ruin the friendship between her and the pink haired woman. She also wanted to be friends with Theodore, since she felt the mauvians were easier for her to talk too.
"My name is Regan. Sailor Adamantine." She answered, though nothing in her face changed as she spoke. "I'm the senshi of Stardust. I was one of the original members of the pack....." She cocked her head. "Should I address you as Candy King or by your name.....?"

He liked this one, she knew how to show respect where it should be given!
Behind him his tail flicked and pink eyes blinked at her, nose twitching as he trotted slightly closer. He might have been expecting her to get down to his level or for her to pick him up and place him on the counter so he was more her level, it was unclear and he didn't voice either expectation.
Theodore simply expected his new friend to be clever enough to understand what he wanted.
After she introduced herself he took time to regard her carefully. "You may call me Theodore. Or address my by the title of Candy King, but nothing else." No, being called anything other than his full name, Theodore, was something reserved for his senshi and only her.

Regan wasn't sure what she should do when he came closer, and while Silk didn't mind being picked up, she didn't think other cats felt the same. She instead brought herself down, folding legs to rest under her, politely resting her hands in her lap.
The urge to pet him was higher now that she was closer, and she wanted to tell him how adorable his hat was, but didn't think that appropriate to an intelligent being like himself.
"Understood Candy King." She opted for the more formal title, "How long have you been Prissy's cat?" She cocked her head, "How did you know that she was your senshi?"

Theodore was pleased when Regan came down to his level and crossed her legs in a manner that appealed to his inner cat and the desire to make a comfy lap a place to rest. He did not yet move to claim a temporary throne yet, he was far too dignified for such things.
Instead, he listened to her questions and thought about how he wanted to answer them.
"As long as I have known her." Which was about as long as he had been in the city and been part of the negaverse. "It was instinctive, I simply knew." It was a simple concept to him.
He had come looking for his senshi and once Miss Prissy had powered up and revealed herself he knew, somewhere in his core, that she was the senshi he was looking for.
Satisfied with his own answers he pushed his paws against her legs and worked to climb into her lap.pixie nyxie could probably wrap soon?

"I suppose thats a trait that seems common among cats." She wondered if she would ever have a cat that instinctively knew they were hers. Silk was the packs, but at the end of the day, Silk had chosen Laby as his human, and that was okay. Regan was more then content with both Theodore and Silk's attentions. Sometimes even Faust was good too.
As Theodore worked his way into her lap, Regan realized she was not stuck in the position and she dare not move to disturb the cat. A small petite hand came to brush along his fur and she smiled.
"Prissy is very lucky to have you, Candy King." She kept her pets light and chose to simply enjoy that she was able to enjoy a talking cats attention. Silk's corndog and the candy box forgotten until Theodore tired of her attention.
