Theater - Fleur had been involved in theater ever since she was little. Preschool skits became grade school projects, and then productions, until she was good enough to get a scholarship to Crystal academy and then DCU. It’s her passion. Acting is her favorite part of theater, and what got her into it, but she’s learned the behind the scenes roles as well over the years, and has found she’s a decent director. Her goal is not to be a broadway star but to start a theater of her own. For now, she’s taking odd jobs in various theaters in Destiny City, mostly acting but occasionally as crew or front of house as well.
Animals - Fleur loves animals. She pampers them and croons over them and pets them until their owners politely shove her away. When alone with them, it's not uncommon for her to talk to them, often as if they can really understand her, not that she'd ever admit it. Even around other humans she turns into a smiling, occasionally squealing mess when around animals. She wasn’t allowed pets when living in Crystal’s dorms, so she spent a lot of time volunteering at animal shelters and even had a few jobs walking dogs. She’s living at home at the moment, so while she doesn’t have as much time to spend with other people’s pets, she does get to spend a decent bit of time every day with her family’s golden retriever.
Archery - Once, archery was just Fleur’s way of letting off steam and having something to write in the Athletics box of applications. Since becoming a senshi, she’s started taking it a lot more seriously. She practices several times a week, sometimes with others and sometimes alone, and she is no longer simply decent. She’s good. That’s on the archery range, at least. She has yet to practice on moving targets, although she’s become increasingly interested in doing the research, if nothing more, on actual, literal hunting.
Virtues:
Prepared - Fleur does her best to be ready for anything. She’s the type to always have sunscreen and bandaids in her purse and write down time slots for running lines and hunting monsters in her day planner. She keeps her things exactly where she knows she can find them and rarely loses them. She is always at work on time, she follows up with her commitments, and she does her best to keep herself in decent health. She also tries to think things through before jumping into them.
Brave - Fleur has seen a lot, so it takes a lot to shake her resolve. A little unpleasantness is not going to slow her down. She knows that often, the only way out is through and she is will bite down her fears and do what she needs to do. She will pull all-nighters. She will fight. She will bleed. Once Fleur manages to put her mind to something, she's not giving up. Even if it becomes complicated, unnecessary or dangerous, she's likely to finish her task.
Polite - Fleur has a firm grasp of basic social skill, as she enjoys conversation. There’s always a warm smile on her face. She never interrupts people. She has learned that there is a time to talk and a time when the best course of action is simply to listen. She says things like “Please” and “Thank you,” and she means them. However, for Fleur, politeness is more than just following the rules of etiquette. She does her best to be sweet and pleasant when around those she wants to please.
Flaws:
Reckless- Fleur prepares herself the best she can and then throws herself into situations she may or may not be able to handle. She does not give up, back out, or run away under most circumstances. During her downtime, she does her best to keep up with self care, but when she’s in the thick of a project or a battle, she doesn’t care if she gets run down or hurt. As she’s a fairly ambitious person, she gets in over her head and often does end up getting run down and hurt or simply can’t do some of the things that she would like to.
Strictly Professional - Fleur has a firm grasp on textbook social skills, but the careful way she always speaks can come across as not quite genuine. There’s always a polite smile on her face… but rarely a real grin. She has a tendency towards formal language. Most notably, she’s quite guarded and tries to avoid sharing personal information or bringing up unhappy topics with acquaintances. If she does end up showing anger or sadness when among friends or allies, she becomes very uncomfortable and embarrassed.
Critical - Fleur has high standards and it is very easy to disappoint her. One of the main issues with this is that it makes it very difficult for her to make decisions, as she can see the flaws in every outcome. This also applies to people. She is quick to form casual relationships but very slow to trust because she’s seen people flaws. If she puts her trust in someone and they do let her down, she does not take it lightly. Of course, the one she’s most critical of is herself, leading to a lack of self-confidence.
