Glen was admittedly confused. He didn't exactly remember entering the animal stables at all, but he chocked it up to the allergy pills he had taken this morning. In fact, he was really laying all of his confusing thoughts on them. Because he'd start to think "i'm not allergic to animal dander....am I" and then his head would hurt, and he'd gag, and so he just blamed those moments on the allergies, they could be quite fatal for him without the...pills? Yeah, he was on heavy medication he remembered or was he? this was all confusing, and it was time to stop thinking about it, he was approaching the lions, and you can't exactly afford to be distracted when near the big cats. The circus lions may be used to people, and admittedly rather friendly, but Glen was always on guard approaching them, treating them like his fear of....fear of what? Dammit, his head hurt again, but he plowed through it, stopping with his wheelbarrow of meat (and when had he grabbed that? Oh god, when had he just grabbed some damn meat in a barrow? He was losing too much time) and smiled gently at the lions, his stance and actions unguarded to show he wasn't a threat. "And how are you guys today, hungry?" He asked, looking towards them and their own seemingly excited faces, the sorts domestic cats would make when they knew it was food time and the human had the food bag. He reached with gloved hands to---oh, seems he already fed them (had he? had he really!?) the cats seemed fed and satisfied, and Glen calmly approached the lazy creatures. "I'm glad your all full, for tonight's performance , you'll all definitely need the strength." He made to pet the closest one, a lion who was stretched out sleepily, so it seemed. One second it was asleep and the next, snarling in a now frightened mans face. The blond backed up, trying to hide his nervousness. "W-what's up?" He said loudly, hoping to attract anyone's attention.

Had Alexandre not been coming back to the animal stables, having forgotten something back there which he needed, he wouldn't have seen the lion snarling at one of the others. That was...unusual. The lions were normally friendly, so were all the animals here, at least with the workers here as they knew everyone. Everyone took turns feeding the animals, didn't they? He was certain of that - right?
"What happened?" Questioning as he hurried over, while trying to seem like he wasn't hurrying over at all. Because to hurry over to help someone was not like him at all, and it never had been. He was the one who looked down his nose at everyone, and he always had. He was the one who thought he was better than almost everyone as well and that was because he was better than nearly everyone else here.
Though something in the back of his mind told him he wasn't...that he had made big mistakes. He just couldn't remember ever making a mistake, much less a big one, so that was all wrong and it was just part of that off feeling he'd had all day. It was just the butterfly's he secretly, because he'd never tell anyone, that he got every time they were doing their first nights performance in a new place.

Glen put a hand out to stop the approaching man. If the lions were angry, it'd be best not to aggravate them further right? ...Right? "I-i think i'm fine. Just stay, okay?" He backed up a bit further, until he was almost sure he was at a good distance from the lions paws. The paws that were right at his face!? He yelped, the lion seemingly taking a good swing at him, and closed his eyes, tor protect them as well as he could. But the feeling of large, thick claws and searing pain never occurred. Glen hesitantly opened his eyes to see the lions back as they were, sleeping and happy. He shook, approaching the other young man. "Did--they tried to scratch me right?" He asked, still pretty scared. "Because I know it was there! The lions paw was at my face!" He was frightened, terrified, this was exactly like the dog all over again...wait, what dog? That was a lion. What was he thinking he feared big cats not big dogs, didn't he? No matter, he found himself clutching at the other mans arm once he was close, trying to ground himself.

"Yeah....I saw it." He had and he'd been scared for the other, he wouldn't be able to move in quick enough to save him. But then...nothing. It seemed like some cut scene only it was poorly done. Like someone editing a video had cut a whole lot out, like the lions swiping the poor kid and then curling up to sleep and all. A whole lot was just not there.
"You're ok though." Alexandre stated while looking the other over. Scared the other was, clearly, and he could understand that. At least he wasn't bleeding or in the process of being mauled or anything. He was physically ok and the ashen blond didn't understand how. It made no sense to him.
"Something seems...off though." He said slowly, testing out the words and hesitant in saying them. He didn't want to seem like he was odd. But he was missing something - right? "Maybe you should lay down. I can walk you to your tent." And he needed a lay down also, because he had to be seeing things...or not seeing things as it seemed to be.

"I...I think that'd be best." He responded, distracted, trying to forget...whatever the hell was going on. He let go of the others sleeve, smiling apologetically. "A nap might help, you should probably lay down too when you leave because if we're both imagining something that's a bit..odd?" He really couldn't describe it, he was just concerned for the other as much as himself. Sleet Tempest Snape We can close this RP soon, would you like to do the honors of a conclusion or should i?

Which wasn't an impossible thing really. What was impossible, perhaps, was what seemed off. That didn't add up with being overworked, at least not to him.
"Come on, let's get you to your tent - lean on me and tell me which way we're going." Since out the back was a large community of little tents for everyone. It was winding little paths and tents everywhere. It was easy to get lost in and hard to navigate at times, unless you knew just where you were going. Kaname Kyoto We can end here or if you wanna do one more post to end it. Either is fine. ^_^ If somehow you wanna do a follow up or anything let me know as well.

Glen leaned on the other young man, emotional drain having sapped him of energy. Not far from here, just a tent to the left." He looked away, embarrassed. "Thanks man, for doing this." He stayed qqiiet after that, no matter how tired he was, that situation left him with alot to think about. He added "large cats" to some long forgotten list of the things to avoid.
