You are in the Living Quarters of the Circus.

You do not quite remember how you got here, only that you ARE here. You're still in the circus. You're still a performer. But somehow, things are a little confusing...somehow, you have this feeling that you can't quite put your finger on like something is...off.

The Living Quarters are a series of small, 2-5 person tents where those that travel with the circus make their homes. They're all clustered together in a huddle behind the grand main tent, and although there isn't much, it's a place that feels warm and welcoming.

• 1 - You and a partner decide to take a nap in your shared tent. As the both of you go to lay down, you have a strange sense of displacement. This isn't your tent, is it? They all look the same, sure, but you're used to your tent. You know it. You've personalized it. Yet it feels...not quite familiar. Odd. Maybe you're not sleepy after all.
  
  
• 2 - You've grown up in the circus. You know your way around it like the back of your hand. It's your home. Yet for some reason, you can't figure out where your tent is. Maybe you need some help. Maybe someone can assist, but they seem just as lost as you are...it's a little disorienting.
  
  
• 3 - As you rummage through your trunk of things, you have a sudden feeling of dizziness, causing you to be a little off balance. You don't know why, but you feel like you're in the wrong place. That there's something off. Maybe you ate something funny. What were you looking for again?
  
  
• 4 - A memory flutters through your thoughts, something personal, something - meaningful. For a split second, you feel a sense of great yearning to get that memory back, an almost desperate sensation - and then it's gone, and you've been performing all day, clearly you're tired and need to rest.
  
  
• 5 - You could swear you hear footsteps outside of your tent, but when you go to open the flap, no one's there. It's a little unnerving. Maybe someone's just playing a rude prank. That's not very nice of them...
  
  
• 6 - You see something sticking out from underneath one of the cots. As you bend to grab it, you discover that it's a short length of aerial rope. Weird that it's in here...oh, well (+1 length of aerial rope, multiple people can get this)
  
  
• 7 - It's your turn to light all the candles around the living quarters to make sure you can all see where you're going. You can't find any matches, which is annoying, because you just had them like, two seconds ago. Didn't you? Maybe you should retrace your steps...except you can't seem to remember where to start. Where did you come from?
  
  
• 8 - As you sit in your tent, you pull out a little hand mirror to check to make sure your makeup and costume still look okay. It's strangely hard to focus on your reflection; in fact, it seems oddly distorted and blurry, and you can't seem to make anything out in the glass. Maybe you're just very sleepy and need some rest.
  
  
• 9 - For a few seconds, you have an almost overwhelming sense of nostalgia and wistfulness for - someone. Something. Somewhere. Where? Who? What? Nothing that's here. Nothing that's around you. Not the circus. Not that, because it's not - oh, someone's talking to you, you should get ready for your next performance!
  
  
• 10 - Something on the ground glitters oddly. You think it might be a piece of jewelry someone's dropped, but as you lean to get it, it feels like the very air around you ripples strangely. It's such a peculiar thing that your mind doesn't want to comprehend it, dizzy and muddled. Maybe you should sit down.
  
  
• 11 - One of the bulbs on the strands of lights around your tent keeps flickering in and out, in and out. Annoyed, you leave your tent and go to fix it, but for some reason, you can't seem to find which bulb it is. You're sure you saw it, too...
  
  
• 12 - A tall, redheaded man with a very attractive face walks past, head tilted up, blue eyes watching you with regal arrogance before he disappears into the tent. There's something odd about it...have you seen him before? You can't seem to remember...
