Entry 1
Couldn't you picture yourself flailing out onto the ice, yelling ATTAAAAACK?
No? I seriously could. Before I moved here, I played this sport called hockey. Best. Thing. Ever. Except for Pokemon, of course.
And trust me, you could TOTALLY scramble onto the ice, flailing and all, and yell that. It would be fine. Hey, might even scare your opponents.
Anyhow, I'm trying to get myself psyched up. Janaff and I are going to start traveling soon... I'm kind of scared. He's not the strongest of Pokemon. What if we run into trouble early? That could be scary. Not to mention, a little dangerous.
Maybe we should wait? ...
-Uncertain in life, not on the ice... ~Vicky.

[[*swears* I had a post all typed out and then I pressed something and then it all VANISHED. -not happy-]]
Wow. So it's been, like... a grand total of two years since I've taken pen to papers, hasn't it? It's been quite a while.
Janaff and I have taken to adventuring, but we've certainly been taking it easily. I, myself, have been dedicated to training hard each and every single day, as that is what athletes do. I have always been an athlete and aim to always remain one. Janaff, on the other hand, was not meant to be a sprinter or a hardhitter.
Thus, why I've decided to let him take it a little slower. We've been focusing more or less on strategy over cardio and pure, physical strength, as that is his strong point.
I aim to attain a suitable sweeper at some point, but... we'll have to see how that goes.
It seems to me Janaff has been growing restless lately, and that we may be long overdue for a battle. In any scenario, I do think it a good idea to end our prolonged vacation and start getting to work.
One thing's for sure: I am definitely looking forward to it.

[[PRIOR to the capture of Effrei & Shaydd]]
Hey again, precious journal o' mine!
So, upon taking a cue from Janaff, the two of us set out to begin our journey anew! Maybe we'll eventually set about collecting badges and whatnot but, for now, I do think that our main mission will be focusing upon our bond and pokemon and trainer [friends, if you will], and expanding our happy, little family.
As it were, I ran into a most intriguing pokemon the other day - a cubone! But something was definitely wrong with this one. From what I'd always heard, they were generally depressed lil' pokemon, you know? But this one... Holy crow, this one was bouncing off the walls! I had a hard enough time containing it when it decided it was going to follow me into the pokemon center in the town next door. Sheesh, she [haha, just now determined the gender @.@] sure is a fireball, that one.
So, she followed Janaff and I into the place and went about trying to sack the place, and apparently it was only because her bone club MADE her do it. I managed to calm her down with a bit of poke'food [tranquilizers slipped in, perhaps? Nah, I wouldn't do that! ...], and janaff helped too, with a Sweet Scent. Thus, cubone sound asleep, I made the capture.
Interesting day, to say the least.
Why do I attract all the crazies, though?

[[Prior to the capture of Shaydd]]
So, our little team is getting a little bit bigger, day by day! Well, maybe day by day is exaggerating just a little bit but... in any case, on my way back home [to rest for a few days], Janaff and I stumbled upon this vulpix. He was sleeping! Can you imagine that, a vulpix, sleeping out in broad daylight, in the middle of nowhere?
In any case, I figured he was probably sunning or something or other, and that he probably had a trainer around, somewhere or other, but further inspection revealed that no, he was quite alone.
And so I approached carefully, not wanting to spook the poor guy. However, soon as I was within a few steps, he jumped flying awake and was in quite the defensive stance. Now, I've never really had a creature growl at me and bare its fangs like that, so this was quite frightening.
Janaff saved the day, however, leaping in front of me protectively. It was sooo cute... But really, this was a fire-type we were dealing with, and Janaff was pretty small. What good can a plant do against a fox? So I sent out Siron, our new cubone friend.
From my new, closer vantage point, I could tell that this vulpix was in serious need of help. His coat was rather muddled, a curious sight for a pokemon that's believed to be so vain. And he looked so groggy, as if he was weary of something.
Nevertheless, Siron fought him and won. He was just too weak and tired to put up much of a fight. That, or he just didn't care.
In any case, now I've a vulpix to call my own.
..SQUeeeeee.. Okay, all done. : )

[[ .___________.! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet]]
Heya Journal, long time no see (yet again!... oops).
Things've been going all right. Life's settled down once more, but that doesn't mean the training's any less intense. And hey, I've got news! Three of my four friendlies have evolved: Janaff is now a gloom [who still wants to fly...], Shaydd's a haunter [have I mentioned how much I love ghost-types?] and Siron is now a marowak [... maybe a little bit less crazy than she used to be, though I wouldn't swear on it by any means]. Effrei's still... Effrei. Sulky little bugger. I hope he's not jealous about not evolving yet -- his day will come, eventually, I am sure.
In the meantime, I guess he'll just have to deal, lol.
Ew, did I just write that?
Anyway, moving on... There's this stargazing seance coming up soon that I'd like to take them to. I remember we found Shaydd on such a night -- I hear there were clefairy out on that night, too, come to think of it. But, anyway, yeah! Am looking forward to this, and I hope they do too.
Til next time~
