Torva was on his way toward the market place on an errand from his little sisters. The two of them had heard about a place that was selling a new type of cake and they 'needed one of them so bad' and he was sent on his way. They were unable to go themselves because they were stuck cleaning after their last set of pranks. He'd much rather go and fetch a cake then help them clean so he was only to happy to run before they asked him for anything else. He had a hard time saying no to them after all because they were just too cute! As he ran off Svana and Eayolin were quick to follow, quite excited over the fact that Torva was running in general. They really didn't care where they were going, it was just the fact that they were able to run around with their owner. Torva looked over his shoulder, chuckled, then whistled to them, "Come on! Let's go and get some cake!" As he turned around again he found himself looking toward someone familiar there ahead of him. Giving a happy sound he picked up the speed a bit more times before he hurried toward the woman calling out, "Tyr! Tyr, hello! How are you? Want to come with us to get some cake too?" He'd had fun hanging out with her last time so he might as well invite her along to get the special cake.

Tyrithian paused as she walked, piper ridding on her shoulder when she heard a call from a familiar voice. She took a deep breath and sighed as lightly as she could, not succeeding very much. Tyr popped her jaw and looked at Torva as he ran over to her. "Why would you want me to come get cake with you?" She asked putting her hand on her hip lightly. Piper looked at Torva and tilted her head a bit, not knowing who he was but being a bit curious. She gently patted Piper on the head.

Torva gave the strong girl in front of him a smile as as she asked why he'd invite her along and he said, "I'd say it's because we're friends? I was told by my little sisters that there are some special, brand new cakes being made nearby and since I saw you I figured I'd let you know about the special cake and invite you along. I'd do the same for any friend." The highly suspicious attitude that Tyr gave off was kind of cute in its own way so he wouldn't let it get to him. Tilting his head to one side he asked, "When did you get a averin, Tyrithian? It's so cute! Look, Eayolin, she has one of your friends as a friend." The purple creature turned to look and went racing up the back of Torva to his shoulder, chirping away at the other averin in an excited manner.

Tyrithian relaxed a bit. "Alright, seems like something that would be fun to do." She said, raising an eye brow at the dorky boy in front of her. "Friend...?" She asked, confused even more now. When did they become friends? When he fixed her hand she supposed. She took another deep breath to stop of racing confused thoughts and did her best to relax. Piper looked at Eayolin and started to chirp back, excited as well. "I found her stuck in the mud at my mom's farm a bit ago. SHe was Chirping in a sad tone and I had to help her." She said, not exaggerating where she found piper as she saw no point in it even though some other people sure would tell lies about how they got their pets.

Torva nodded his head, "Of course! we're friends, Tyrithian." He said, giving the girl a smile, finding it cute that she was questioning that even after they hung out for an afternoon together. Maybe she just wasn't someone who was quick to making friends? No matter! Torva was the sort that wanted everyone to be his friend so maybe they would balance each other out? Giving a smile he asked, "That's a yes then? Great! We should probably get going since we are gonna be stuck in line for a while if the cake is as good as my sisters say it will be." Turning to glance at the pretty colored averin that was perched on Tyr he asked, "She was stuck? Poor thing. They tend to like to be up high so I wonder if maybe she fell or got chased. She's not injured or anything I assume? She seems to be in too good a mood." Picking up Eayolin from his shoulder he held the little critter out so that he could rub beaks with his new friend. Giving a laugh Torva said, "Awww, isn't that cute!"

"Al..right." She said, still a bit confused. She shook it off and looked back at him. She nodded, "Let's get going then." She said, more calm now that she is ignoring her confused mind. "Yeah, she's okay. She was just a bit frazzled and messy." She said with a chuckle as she pats her back gently. "Aww, they are very cute." She said, smiling slightly and letting out a soft laugh. It was quite cute and she wasn't hiding it, even though she normally hid that from everyone she's around. Piper chirped happily to the other Averin.

Torva gave a smile, glad to hear that she wanted to go with him to get cake, "I'm glad! I think that this will be a lot more fun with someone else to talk to while I stand in line. I mean I can talk to Svana and Eayolin but I'm sure if I did that for too long then people would think I was crazy or something." Something that made him chuckle just thinking about it. He could only imagine what those around him might think if he were to carry on a full conversation with the beasts. Eayolin moved to head to where Svana stood, climbing up onto the vedra's back and set to chirping at him, calling for Piper to join him. He'd been trained to ride on the vedra because it was cute according to Torva's sisters and he knew it was a way to catch interest for the troupe's various shows. Having her dancing around with Eayolin near to the circus tent was always a good way to draw people's eyes. He looked to Tyr and said, "She can hop up too if she wants." A comment that was followed by, "Heh, you're cute when you smile, Tyr." He said as he lead the way toward people were already standing in line, waiting for cake. Lucky for them it seemed as though the line wasn't too long yet.

Tyr smiles and chuckles, "That does sound a bit more fun than a cute bird that can only chirp back." She shook her head, easily being able to imagine Torva doing something like that on his own with his two birds. Piper chiped and fluttered her wings, looking up at Tyr. Tyr looked at her, nodded to her and chuckled softly. "It's alright." Piper hopped from her shoulder onto Svana's back, chirping happily. Tyr gently pet her with a smile. Tyr could feel her face heat up quite a bit. She stood up tright and punched him in the arm. "S-shut up, Torv." She huffed a bit and looked away from him, grumbling.

Torva gave a smile, watching as Piper went to join Eayolin on Svana's back, "Wow, that is way too cute." He said, grinning before he turned to look over at Tyr, just in time to get punched in the should by the rather flustered looking girl that didn't seem to appreciate being called 'cute' by him. It only made her that much cuter but he didn't say as much, certain that she would probably punch him again. Likely in a more delicate place then his arm. Giving a smile he said, "Alright, alright. Peace, Tyr." He said, lifting his hands up to wave them in a playfully defensive way before giving another laugh. Leaning against the wall of the building they were waiting at he set to gathering some power into his hands, summoning up a trio of balls made of water and set to juggling them. It was way to distract himself from the wait as well as to entertain those that were waiting with him, "I'm getting closer to being able to do this with fire, Tyr. Don't worry though, once I figure out the trick you will be the first one to see it."

Tyr grumbles at him, crosses her arms. "They are cute." She mumbled and looks at the birds. Try glanced at him and watched as he juggled the balls of water. She relaxed a bit and lowered her arms from their crossed position. "I feel quite lucky, Thanks." She said, quite happy although she keeps her self from smiling to much now. She couldn't help but crack a little smile, not noticing that she did.

Torva gave a smile before he continued to juggle, giving a bit of a grin as he realized that he was starting to get a bit of attention on him as he did so. He rather loved the attention since it was something that he'd grown up with along with the rest of his family, "So what do you plan on doing in the future, Tyr? What I do is pretty obvious but you... well, I have to say I'm pretty curious." Looking up at her he gave a smile, "Something involving pure physical strength I'd guess, as well as some fighting, but any other ideas? City guard? Fighter for hire? Back alley fighter?" He listed the first things that came to mind but he found himself thinking that she could probably do more then that. She seemed smart as well as strong so it would be a waste for her to just a mercenary if you asked Torva. He wondered if he could talk her into taking on a job guarding him when he went to Tendaji. Once she got to the point where she had a weapon and rank at least. Maybe, maybe not. Seemed a tad selfish on his part when they still didn't know what was to be done against those bug mages. Just thinking about them caused his nose to wrinkle just a tad since it kept him from traveling earlier. Something he'd say now was a good thing since he'd met so many people he might not have met if he'd left Belrea already.

Tyr glanced around and stepped to the side of him to let the people who were watching hav a better veiw of Torva and his juggling act. Tyr crossed her arm and had to think on the question for a minuet. She knew that she loved to fight, that was obvious, but what would give her the leeway in not getting in trouble from as many fights? The glanced around as she thought on it. She shrugged a bit, "Hired guard would work nicely. I get to fight people and get paid." She said and looked at him, chuckling a bit. "Does that sound a bit selfish?" She asked, honestly wondering if it did sound bad the way that she put it. "Plus if I did do that I would be able to learn about people, like the people that I would be hired to guard." She said, liking this plan now.

"Hired guard? That makes sense and it's a good line of work to get into. Especially these days. I hear that those bug mages are trying to make a mess of things. It's why people are being so careful and on edge." He said as he continued to juggle, giving her a glance, "You should consider coming to try out as a guard for the circus, you could double as an entertainer if you're as strong as you look I'd bet." Torva glanced to the side, his eyes going wide, "Ah! Look, it's about time for us to get to go in, Tyr!" He said, before he cast a secondary spell on the water balls he held before throwing them into the air, watching as they burst into snow that fell around the group. As everyone watched he moved forward, closer to the door, only one person between them and sweet, sweet cake now. As they waited for the last person that stood between them and their sweets to go he turned to Tyr and asked, "What sorts of things would you want to know about those you guard?"

Tyr's eyes light up a bit, glad that he thought that it was a good idea to become a hired guard. "Yeah, those Bugs have been a real pain in Tendaji from what I've heard." She groaned a bit and shook her head. She glanced at him, raising an eye brow, "What all would I have to do to become a guard there?" She asked, more courius about that then her chances of becoming an entertainer at the cercius because she doesn't even know what she would do there if giving the chance beside guard. Tyr watched the snow a bit before she caught back up with Torva. "Awesome, almost there." She said, glanceing around at the shop. She thought on his question a moment before just shrugging, "I would just want to know about the people paying me, so that I know that I'm not working for the bad guy." She said and looked at him.

"I've heard that they were causing some problems here in Belrea as well but I've yet to really see one of them myself, nor have I met anyone that's run into them personally." It made him curious what they were, what they wanted, if the guards would take care of them or not. He supposed they'd just have to keep their ears open if they wanted to learn about what was coming next. As Tyr asked about the job he gave a humming sound, "I suppose the first thing involved would be meeting with my grandfather. He's the one that is currently in charge of everything to do with the troupe. He can be a bit of a hard a** at times but he's a really good guy." He said, giving a bright smile thinking about the man, "After that it's probably a matter of meeting some of the others. You kind of need to get along with those you look after. At least you do in our group since everyone is supposed to be at least friends, if not like family." Giving a nod of his head he said, "I can assure you that we are the good guys. Back in the day, like a few generations ago, the group had some swindler types but that's all in the past. My great grandfather and grandfather both have done everything in their power to make sure that the group was completely legit, no more tricks. At least none of the false kind, only the fun kind."
