Witch/Mermaid Hybrid, High School StudentEmily rushed home, placing her bag on the counter in the kitchen. Her parents had already gone to bed, and she was free to do what she wanted for the night. Carefully, she took out the lamp, and examined it. She grabbed a book off the shelf, that was actually a lever to an secret library- filled to the brim with books of magic and spell scrolls galore. Cautiously, she took the lamp with her, and grabbed a book pertaining to magical objects. The object in question, was a magic lamp- when rubbed, it would summon a magical genie. She nodded at the pages, almost in approval as she curiously rubbed the lamp. OOC:

Felix  Genie ◊≈◊Profile◊≈◊The lamp was rubbed, and a young man genie around the age of eighteen with snowy white hair and crimson eyes was summoned from the lamp in a puff of smoke. "HEEELLLOOO-" "Oh!"He greeted, interrupted by the sight of a white-haired girl. "Hm. How lovely, my master looks like me!" He started, followed by a chuckle. "Sorry there, let me introduce myself. I'm Felix. I am a genie, and my job is to grant the wishes of my master.
Although, I must warn you. I can only grant one wish per day."

Witch/Mermaid Hybrid, High School Student"Shhh! My parents are sleeping!" Emily whispered sternly, as the white-haired genie had come from the lamp. She chuckled, as he complimented her hair. She knew what a genie was, and was glad to have him around. However, there was a slight problem- Emily wasn't allowed to have people over this late! She had to come up with a plan. "Any wishes?" She started. "Well, I haven't made a single friend in the time I've lived here.
I know I am asking a lot, but my parents wouldn't be too happy to have you around." She explained. OOC: Don't forget to quote me.

Felix Genie ◊≈◊Profile◊≈◊Felix raised a brow. "Overprotective, hm? Oh, what a shame."He replied, giving Emily a hug to reassure her. "Not to worry!" He said with a coy smile, ending the embrace as he floated in the air and made himself look human. The glowing smoke around him dissipated, and he stood firmly on the ground. "How do I look?"

She had never been hugged by someone outside her family- and she wasn't used to it. Afterwards, she watched him turn human. Even in his human form, he still looked like himself, except well, human. Witch/Mermaid Hybrid, High School Student"Call me Emily." She replied, thinking of what the two of them could do for the time being. It was friday after all, and as far as she knew, her family had no plans for tomorrow. Then, she clapped her hands together- An idea! "We can go upstairs. There is a TV in my room, and I know just the show to watch for the occasion!" She suggested, remembering her 'I dream of Jeannie' tapes she kept in her room. It was one of her favorite shows, and she wondered how Felix would react to it.

Witch, Emily's MotherAmelia had awoken from the noises going on downstairs. Thinking it may have been her daughter, she went downstairs to check on her. She put on her bathrobe before going downstairs to check. When she got down there, she was a in pure shock. Her daughter brought a boy into their house! "Emily..Who is this?" She asked sternly, placing a finger on her round glasses as she stared at Emily. She better have a good enough reason as to why this boy was even here in the first place.

As a precaution, Felix attempted to use a charm spell he learned as a Genie. "Salutations, Miss. You must be Emily's mother?"He greeted, holding a hand out for Emily to shake it.

"Your charm doesn't work on me you little creep!"She snapped, grabbing a dust from the pocket of her robe and blowing it in Felix's eyes. "Emily. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't ground you." She said, staring her down once more.

Felix Genie (In a Human disguise) ◊≈◊Profile◊≈◊Felix faltered, his hand getting tired and eventually falling to his side. The spell hadn't worked, and a dust stung his eyes. Soon he began to feel very sleepy. "Mut..muz zat..for?"He asked sleepily before falling to the ground in a deep slumber.

Witch/Mermaid Hybrid, High School StudentEmily was frozen in fear. She wasn't sure how to explain she wasn't in any danger. Then, her new friend impulsively attempted to introduce himself. She saw the spell too, and gasped, becoming more tense as she knew her mother was swift to detect it. "Mom! Wait!" She exclaimed, picking up the lamp that rolled out of Felix's hands when he fell to the ground. "I found this underwater, He's a Genie, but I wished to disguise him as a human....He's my friend" She explained, tearing up at the sight of seeing him knocked out. "look! I can prove it." She added, wiping a tear from her eye and pointing the lamp in Felix's direction, vacuuming him back into the lamp.

Witch, Emily's MotherAmelia adjusted her glasses. "I see. So he's a young Genie, then?"She asked sheepishly, realizing she had the wrong Idea about him. Amelia had originally thought he was human boy attempting to do questionable things to her dear daughter. However, this was not the case- Especially since Genies weren't human. Emily never lied as far as she knew, and trusted her daughter's word. Just in case, she looked over the lamp and Emily was right. She had found a Genie's lamp. "Well, good job for finding a Genie.
They are very rare, so take good care of him.
He is vulnerable in his human form as well.
My only rule is that you treat him as you would treat your brother." She requested. "I have an interview tomorrow at the school you two will be attending,
do be more careful and keep quiet, okay my sweet?"
