Noemi hadn't expected to fight again but it looked like she was going to place in like third or something if she won!
She smiled more at her opponent though, as she was currently cleaned of mud.
"Hello Mi...I mean, Seren!" She summoned her weapon, "Time for a rematch?"
She poked the woman to tell her she was ready!

Seren was REALLY pleased that for this battle, her last of the tourney, she and Noemi had been given something generally DECENT to fight on. No mud, no slippery sand... this was going to be a much better battle, at least from the perspective of clothing cleaning and slippery ground. "Noemi! We both did pretty damn good, and looks like! Let's see if you can beat me again." Seren couldn't help it... the poke actually kind of tickled, despite the discomfort, so she giggled as she summoned Diwata and returned the favor with a light poke. "Come on, let's get down to business, Noemi!"

Since Noemi knew what Seren's weapon was like, she wasn't as scared at being hit like she had been with Lydia and Nash, though Nash absolutely destroyed.
"We did!" The girl pinkened, "I want you to win again, but I will also do my best!"
She focused and then rushed the woman, swinging the trident up in a wide uppercut arc.

"I won't lie, I'd love to win, but... Most of all, I want a good fight. Every spar here is one more lesson learned that might save my life, down the line." She was a little sober in her words, but it was still true, and important. She was a Sun. Her job was being the heavy hitter. She needed to be able to make it out alive. She took Noemi's hit, and gasped a bit, then said "Nice hit!" As she pulled her sword back, trying one of her baseball bat-like hits, aiming for Noemi's side.

Noemi gasped as Seren's sword hit her side, and jumped back. The advantage of her weapon was it extended her reach, the disadvantage was that she was short so she was always hopping into danger.
Her nose scrunched up and she came at the woman again, this time, testing how far Seren's sword could hit at her if she hit from the FARTHEST away she could.

Seren blinked, surprised when Noemi suddenly moved back. The distance was a little awkward looking, in Seren's eyes, but the other woman managed to jab her with her trident, so it was a good move on Noemi's part. Seren hmm'd at the hit. It was a solid hit, but because of the distance, it wasn't as hard as it could be. Seren tried pulling her sword back into another swing, trying to use the full length of Diwata's oversized blade, but managed, instead, to swing it in an arc that might have whistled through the air OVER Noemi's head.

Noemi kept her distance, circling now to jab at Seren's side, since she didn't have to worry about mud or things now.
The hits were successful but they weren't power. She thought that was probably okay!

Seren watched Noemi moving, her lips curved into a frown of thoughtfulness and focus. This was proving a new kind of challenge... which she appreciated greatly. It just wasn't what she had been expecting, and she was now trying to figure out how to work around it. After Noemi's hit, she tried to move forwards, and under the Trident, but missed, finding the angle very difficult.

The thoughtfulness on Seren's face made Noemi's head c**k, looking at the woman.
This time, she rushed in, swinging the trident towards her hip where her large sword was not blocking.
Noemi was very focused, because her new friend had proven to be a truly hard hitter.

The trident struck true, and Seren hissed a little, more out of instinct then anything else. Even knowing, intellectually, that the trident was not going to hurt her did not prevent Seren's brain from thinking it was actually about to be painful. She managed to take advantage of Noemi being closer in, and turned the sword, swinging in. Unfortunately, she misjudged a tad, and instead of the edge of the blade, she managed to swat Noemi with the flat.

Noemi's move in did prove fruitful, as Seren clipped the edge of her fear shield.
At the same point, Noemi also had more room to attack as well. She turned the trident, using the staff part to attack the girl's shoulder.
"S...Sorry!" She didn't realize she hit so hard.

Seren winced at that hard hit, and moved back, trying to get a better angle to go from. "No apologies needed, Noemi! This is a spar, and you're doing REALLY WELL. That's why you're here, after all! To fight, and show us all what you can do. And here, you are showing you can do what needs to be done!" She took a soft breath, then pulled her sword back coming in at an arc to hit low, but hard.

Noemi struggled to stop any huge hits, so when Seren's sword came-ah-swinging, she took the hit full and hard, being knocked back and rolling on the ground.
"That was good..." She managed to say as she rolled up and towards the huntress again. Her swing was weaker since the hard hit.

Seren took the next hit, as well, and had a feeling, unless a miracle occurred, she was about to lose this match, too. Still, she had learned a bunch of new stuff from the way Noemi fought, and that was more valuable, in her mind, then winning a tourney. "You're doing really well, Noemi!" She responded, enthusiastically, as she made her next swing. It wasn't as good, and she was, honestly, ready to go home and REST.
