Day #1 Theme: Lion
Comments: Caught this up on day 16.
Definitely not my usual style but I kinda like it.
Comments: (catchup) Possibly more of a tunnel than a cavern :/ This is a view from the Robbers Cave at Hafod in mid Wales. The other end opens out behind a waterfall that drops into a hole in the hillside. It's one of my very favorite places anywhere.
Comments: This is a real house set in a wooded valley in Mid Wales. I spent many nights alone here; as housekeeper and general dogsbody. The central windows on the middle floor belong to a room that despite everyones best efforts remained locked, I have no idea if they ever got in there. A lady can often be seen staring out. Tiny running footsteps can be heard on the middle corridor and staircase, and a little girl laughs on the servants stairs at the back. The Gentleman owner, who built the house in 18th Century often follows visitors (and me!) around the house and in the dead of night horses hooves and carriage wheels can be heard racing up the driveway, despite it now being tarmac.
NB I NEVER draw landscapes so this is totally outside of my comfort zone!

Day #9 Theme: Head / Art Collector's Requests - Chihiro for Ariciel
Comments: Inspired by Ariciel's character Chihiro. I'm trying to stop drawing big fat outlines round everything. Not sure if it's working :/ This is definitely still a Work in Progress!
Comments: It started off sketchy and then all got a bit abstract and weird. Definitely needs tweaking some more.
But look! No big fat outlines xd

Day #11 Theme: Trilobite Bright
Comments: Just a quickie today, got to take hubby for his pre-op check up so I've got a nice 200 mile round trip in the car rolleyes I'm quite pleased with this though, considering my complete phobia of anything that looks like a woodlouse O.o
Comments : I really wish I'd been able to have a go at this on my computer but I'm not at home at the moment so in having to go old school. Will definitely be re inking and colouring this when I get home!
*edit* Got home and cleaned it up, much happier now biggrin Here's the original just in case anyone wants to see it...
