It was two weeks since she'd been brought in to the palace. During that time, she found out by the fabric master, that there were 8 different princes. Each with their own style very different apart. The master swept her in to make each of them one, it was better to treat them all equally but in their face, act like each one of them is more supreme than the rest. Of course, she didn't have to- but the fabric master pushed and pressed her. "You would in undoubtedly anger the others if you do not make one for each of them. It's proven dear- Do not cross any of them... " The master warned and it was because of his master before him, was in torture for quite some time. See, not all the princes were as sweet as the ones she had met.
Solair came in, and of course, he repeated to her to not make all of the princes' clothes- it was unnecessary. He brought her snacks when he could, he tried to spend as much time with her without making his brothers even more suspicious than they already were. He opened up, and Solair hadn't smiled like this in quite some time. He even tried to 'help' with making the clothes but he, of course, hadn't 'sown' a day in his life.
Today, he had something special planned. She was a fashion designer, and what better way to help inspire her than to bring in talent from here to her feet. Sol sprung out of bed, sent messenger birds, ordered food to be made and the designers to come. The morning was busy getting things ready, and of course, a complete secret from Rarity, he loved to surprise. There were no real doors anywhere in the palace except for his father's room and the gates around the castle. Everying was in simple open archways, privacy was not given here.(edited) Coming to where she was sleeping, he cleared his throat. "Miss Rarity?"
From beneath the pillows a head popped out- a long spiral horn with outstretched arms. "Morning Sol-"
"SINBAD!?!?!??! What are you doing here!? Where is Miss Rarity!?!?!?" Sol quickly stormed in and grabbed his brother from the pillows and proceeded to drag him across the floor. "What did you do with Rarity!"
The purple brother whined and tried to swat Solair away. "Hey hey hey~! I can't resist beautiful ones, and she has PURPLE~ Just like me~~~" He smiled then snickered at how Sol was getting so worked up over this. "You know. When girls have purple, it makes me weak, in reality- she is the one who came to me~ seduced me~"
Sol shook his brother. "WHERE IS SHE D< YOU MONSTER!"

The fabric master, while strict, only tried to do right by Rarity by showing her that if she acted in favor of every prince and only in the presence, would be the only way to keep her head on her body. These three days had felt incredibly long, but as Rarity was introduced to each prince, and of course, the twins and Solair once again as she presented each of them their outfits, she found herself in a bit more trouble than she bargained for. The fabric master's words rang in her ears, despite not being anywhere near her at the moment. In fact, Rarity had no idea where the master had gone, because she'd come in search of him to ask a few questions.
Two weeks had gone by and, while long, felt so much longer and yet so much shorter, mostly thanks to Solair. The white prince kept her entertained and only increased her determination to prove herself to his brothers. Whenever Solair brought her a snack, Rarity could only smile gratefully. She wasn't sure why but felt like Solair was practically glowing recently. It had only been a few days, but sometimes Rarity could swear she literally saw glitter and sparkles around Solair, and no, it wasn't because she had a crazy, dramatic imagination. She knew herself quite well, and honestly, Solair was very much glittering and sparkling.
There was a funny incident when Solair offered to help her with making clothes, only for the craziest mess to ensue. Rarity had finally gotten the insanity back to normal by that evening, but the memory caused a silly grin to paint her face. Solair's sincerity touched her. However, and she grimaced slightly, his "help" simply pushed her work further behind, so she had tried to convince him that bringing snacks would help her more than his trying to help her make clothes. Rarity looked at the clothes in her arms and frowned. Where was the fabrics master? She desperately needed an opinion on whether using ribbons or lace were a better choice for the outfit she held.
She continued on her search of the fabrics master, wondering what time it was. She had honestly been up late working on her latest masterpiece, and she had saved the best for last--not that she'd say that to any of the princes. Solair deserved the best from her, after all. As she walked down the hall towards her temporary room, she heard shouting. Two masculine voices were coming from her room, and Rarity groaned. Solair had opened up, but that also meant, it seemed, that he got into quite a few arguments with his brothers, especially concerning her.
She had discovered that she was often the center of conversation with the brothers, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, regular meetings, random meetings, and so on and so forth. Solair had warned her several times never to be alone with any of his brothers for longer than necessary, but when some of them--especially one in particular--kept trying to slip into her room, in bed with her, Rarity found it difficult to keep her promises to Solair.
She finally arrived in front of the door to her room, which was slightly ajar, allowing her to peek in and see who it was, confirming who she thought it was. She pushed opened her door and with a light bang, it announced her presence. "Your Highness Sinbad, Your Highness Solair, good morning. It's an honor to see you both. Why am I bestowed a visit from both of you?" Rarity tried to real in her sarcasm when she spoke to the purple brother, but smiled genuinely at Solair.

Solair shook his womanizing brother to a pulp until his ears finally arrived of the voice of the girl he had been taking time from. "Rarity!? I mean, Miss Rarity!?" He smiled widely and dropped his brother against the floor. "I thought my brother was ...was... You- and-" Looking at both of his hands and immediately he went to rubbing the back of his head.
"My lady~ I have a surprise for you, I came looking for you and found~ Uhh... I will tell the acting king to make sure he doesn't wander in your room again." He smiled apologetically.
Sinbad growled at his younger brother and hip swiped him out of the way. "Miss Rarity~ You were absolutely missed last night. Your radiance, your presence has been breathtaking and yet we have been gone too long without basking near one another. I would like to invite you to dinner tonight." He smiled and offered his hand. "Let us make good of this time while you are still here at the palace~"
Sol pushed his brother and growled. "You are!" He whimpered a little, but Sinbad put his hand on his brother''s face. "Please brother, step aside and let a real male take this one. Plus, She is a rare gem and needs someone with more experience, dear beloved brother." Chuckling softly.
Finally, Solair came out with what he wanted to tell her. "Lady Rarity..." He bit his bottom lip and took in a deep breath. "The surprise is waiting for you out in the gardens... Please... take your time."
Sinbad bowed his head when his brother left and truth be told, he crossed his arms and rested on his own hip, stopping Rarity from following Solair. Looking deeply at Rarity. "You have remarkable talents Lady Rarity, but one I do not admire... is the one you have over my youngest brother. He is easily the most beloved prince of us all and your stay here has made him smile, and that is something none of us has seen in a long time. So...consider leaving relatively soon.. I would hate for him to get too attached to someone whom will need to leave back to their own homelands. To leave him seeking your attention for this short of time, yet for his innocence he hadn't ever known what it is to LIKE someone- let alone anything more. It is cruelty miss Rarity.."
Sinbad softly brushed his finger tips against her cheek, then softly cupped it and lifted her face. "You are indeed a beautiful creature, but like so, be aware of your effect upon others." Taking her hand and kissing it softly.
"Now if you want to use me as your scapegoat...I would be happy to oblige."
In the halls close to the gardens and near the kitchen, Solair growled and with everything gripped his fist. "She... is free to speak to who she wants, when she wants, and so is my brother... I don't... know why I am.. feeling this way.." Sighing softly. His servants surrounded him with questions about the show. He responded to their questions and let them leave, except one servant whom stayed by him and walked with him. "Prince Solair..." She stopped him and bowed before him.
"I don't want to trouble you.... but know that we haven't you smile so much, awakened, and enjoying yourself. It is truly been an honor, and a blessing to see you like this." Softly smiling.
Solair was surprised at what she said, it had been quite some time that someone brought up his awakening. He softened his features and softly smiled at her. "I hope I live up to everyone's expectations of the youngest of the Princes.." Walking with her to the gardens where he approved of the stage and them awaiting Rarity's presence before starting...

Barely another word has passed her lips before the brothers were shoving each other around to garner her full attention. Rarity struggled to keep the laughter and amusement out of her expression as she watched until each other had straightened himself out. "With all due respect, Your Highnesses," she managed to get out without laughing, "I think it's rather strange for the both of you to be in my bedchambers." She was about to point out that it was rather unbecoming of the acting king, Solair's brother Sinbad, to have been found in her bed of all places.
However, before she could make a snide remark, Sinbad approached her as he first did when they first met--and had continued to meet to her chagrin--and being his fliratious self, grabbed her face. Out of the corner of her eye she watched as Solair exited the room, and then her attentioned returned to Sinbad, who was still holding her face. Her eyes brimmed with fire and determination despite the warning Sinbad issued. "I beg your pardon, darling!" She almost snarled, and snatched her face away from Sinbad's grip. "I will only leave when His Highness Solair asks me to leave!" She replied haughtily. She wasn't offended that Sinbad flirted or touched her so much as his warning about getting too close to Solair.
"You can't manipulate others like this!" Rarity glared at Sinbad, not caring how rude she was being. "I can choose to go where I please, and I certainly won't leave just because you're threatening me, and yes, I do believe you are threatening me, my flirtatious prince." Her rudeness was probably going to land her in the dungeon, but she'd managed it this far without being thrown there--yet. The acting king and his twin had already threatened her the first time she met them, being manhandled rudely. At any rate, Sinbad intruded into her privacy first, so it was payback. "I shall join you and your brothers at dinner, Your Highness." Her tone was clipped and short.
She swiped aside the curtains hanging in the archway to her room that served as a temporary sort of "door" only to see Solair speaking with a beautiful servant and the smile he gave her, and Rarity's heart lurched. She was about to call after him, but stopped. No matter what Sinbad or the other brothers said, Rarity was staying purely for Solair. She wanted to be his best friend, his closet confidant... She paused, not allowing the thought to go further. Shaking her head, she glared at Sinbad and then flung curtains closed, nearly ripping them off from where they hung. "Of all the nerve...!" she muttered, and quickly chased after Solair. She was rather curious about the surprise he had mentioned.

Sinbad tried to get in to her room last time while she was in bed, he ended up running for the hills after being hit by her hooves several times. He shuddered at the memory but that didn't stop him from TRYING to stay the whole night and wake up to her. It HURT. When it was announced that it was 'weird' to be in the bedchambers, the brothers had looked at each other. Sin was ALWAYS like this, oh how many times he got in trouble for such things! But Solair looked, devastated.
But as the brothers had their play fight, Solair storming out.
When she said he threatened her, Him, Sinbad!? He looked shocked at her, frowned a little. She looked so angry which made him feel bad... he never wanted a girl to be mad at him. He ran after her and grabbed her hand after the curtains flew from her fury. "I only mean to protect my innocent brother's heart. I warn, because he did not get the chance to harden. Beloved, Rarity, my kid brother is fragile... and if you knew his secret.. You would not fault us for being so protective..Just.. Don't hurt him."
He decided that it would be best to let her go.. so he did. Releasing her from his grip so tenderly... He smiled at her. He hoped, deep down, she WOULD stay for Solair.. and make him smile of all the days to come. But not without flirting with her every step of the way of course, just to tease Solair! This time, he would not follow, instead, he would detour and get a better view of what Solair had in store for the sweet, Rarity.
When Rarity came in, the garden was full of exotic flowers, and a stage with sparkles and shine. As soon as she came, someone cued to Solair and he turned around. Smiled. Bowing his head, there were only a few choice seats, and that was for the designers to sit in with just 15. 8 reserved always- if the other brothers decided to come, one for Sol and Rarity had the choice to choose where to sit. The brothers however, didn't all make it and there was of course, empty spots. But likewise, Sol offered her a front seat. At which, once she sat down, an announcer came out.
"Our show today, is to honor a very special guest. A foreigner from another land of great fashion. Today, we put to you on a show, that will show case our world, our land, and out people. We hope you enjoy Lady Rarity!"
Sol smiled, the announcement was perfect and the designers clapped and smiled to the foreigner. Then the show started! An elegant line, a beauty line, an exotic line, a shaw- only line, and a dancer line! All with designers so unique, exotic and mystical. Their patterns, their designs, all had versions of reserved and the rebellious side ( those without shaws or covers for their heads ). Each more unique than the rest...
Sol filled with pride as they walked the line. He loved his culture for the passion in their clothing and the history behind it. He wanted to show that to Rarity.. show her the world HE grew up in.. up until the accident.
The twins were there, One pale and One tanned, cyan headed twins. both clapping along with every model that stepped across the stage. In the midst of the exotic line, he looked to Rarity... to see if this was 'fun' to her.. if she liked this.. Nothing matter more, than her reaction..

She still hadn't forgiven Sinbad for entering her room without permission, but it wasn't as if she could lock the door or anything. After all, everything in this country looked as open as could be. Rarity didn't mind, in the end, because everything in this place was beautiful, including the princes... Rarity admitted to herself that all the princes were delightful to look at, though some weren't exactly easy to get along with. She sighed to herself as she settled in for a great show. Solair kept surprising her at every turn, and she anticipated that this show would continue to show off Solair's innocence and sincerity.
Everything just glittered and sparkled around her as Rarity got absorbed in the fashion show. She hadn't expected anything so nearly wonderful as this, and she turned and smiled wide at Solair. "Oh, Solair," she said, breathless from the awe, "you didn't have to do anything this... this... wonderful!" She hadn't realized she'd dropped the honorific, but her gaze remained glued to the stage as model after model came out to show off the various styles of the country she was staying in.
Rarity decided that the elegant line and the exotic line were her favorites, although the shawl line was wonderful as well. However, none of the shawls matched the shawl that she'd received from Solair. To Rarity, it was the most beautiful shawl, and nothing else could compare. She kept that to herself, however, because Solair seemed to think nothing of it when he had first bought it for her. She frowned, thinking about how she would have to try and retreive the earring he'd sacrificed to buy it for her.
During some breaks when she wasn't busy with the princes, she had visited the bazaar regularly, attempting to find Solair's missing earring. Her thoughts were interrupted when she noticed the twins, and she tried to keep her grimace out of Solair's sight. She wasn't fond of the cyan-haired twins. She understood that all of the brothers were extremely over-the-top-overprotective of Solair--she wasn't sure why--but at the same time, she felt for Solair.
Solair deserved the same amount of freedom his brothers had, and his innocence was one of the major reasons she felt that Solair ought to up and leave, travel around a bit. Being worldly would help with his maturity, not to mention he could learn the duties of a prince and how to act in a different set of public places. Rarity didn't voice her thoughts, however, because she didn't want to offend any of the princes further than she already had by staying. She clapped her hooves in appreciation. "That was a wonderful, beautiful show, Your Highness Solair," she smiled and bowed to him. "You've given me so much to think about. I believe I shall reward you." She winked at him playfully as her horn shimmered, in which she pulled out a simple golden bracelet, horn-crafted into perfection. The bracelet was braided, inlaid with silver pieces and single alexandrite gem in the middle. Rarity had hunted for that gem for a few days just for this gift.
"Please accept it, Your Highness," she said, trying not to sound emotional. In a few more days, she was going to pack up and leave. She was nearly done with all the clothes she had promised the princes, and Sinbad's words were hitting her hard from earlier that morning. "Shall we all head to dinner?" She turned to look at the twins so she could hide her tears and instead maintain a serene expression.

The show, was a hit, even to the servents. When they finally ended, and all the models began to mingle. It was obvious that the princes became the center of attention. It was Rarity that made such an announcement, and everyone turned, silenced, and watched the interaction between them.
She was giving him a present..
The brothers didn't know quite what to do. They took this gesture as her showing him affection, openly. Solair looked at her, surprised, and his cheeks blushed so much that he couldn't contain the silly plastered smile on his face. Sure, he was given gifts, especially after his ordeal. But.. this was the first time that he had shared such a bond with someone and they in return, showed him 'affections'. His gesture to take this gift, meant that he accepted her 'advances'. He held the bracelete dearly. "My lady." He bowed to one knee. Their customers were indeed vastly different.
He put the bracelet on and looked up to her. "I accept."
His brothers were in shock that their young brother would accept her advances to pursue, and they all began to speak amongst themselves. His pale, cyan haired brother slammed his fit in to the table and knocked over a few plates before storming away. His counterpart spoke with the other brothers that were present. Sinbad was above them in the balcony and leaned over the railings. Smiling. 'I guess she is staying.' He smiled widely, speaking to himself, as he turned and walked away. His arms behind his head as he seemed a lot more light hearted that his brother finally found love. Most if not all the brothers were mostly bacholars with prospects up the yin yang!
When he rose, he couldn't help but laugh a little.. "I am so happy...thank you. Surprised. But happy."
After this short time of them spending time, { Darker Cyan Twin } Balthazar took a step forward. After speaking with the brothers, and upsetting his own twin set. He bowed his head to them.
"I approve of this....you may proceed with this proposed courtship. Accepting both the responsiblity of having overseers to make sure the this union is suitable." Bowing. "I hope you two will find this union suitable...and an agreement can be met." As acting king, he put his hand up in approval. Then began to try to rally the rest of his brothers in the dinner area. Some of his brothers were congratulating him, some clapping, while others just left.
Solair didn't know of their customers, he vaguely remembered SOME of this, but not all, so in essence, he was just as innocent as Rarity was, even baffled the way his brothers reacting to her giving him a present. All he knew was, he was so overly joyed to accept a gift from her, It was beautiful and he felt so treasured.
"I shall treasure this greatly."
He whispered to her, but when his acting king brother came and announced such strong words. His cheeks flushed. "Wait- wait~ brother? Wait- I don't think, I don't understand... Are you accepting-" But his brother had already walked away with the rest of his brothers. He looked to Rarity, BURNING RED.
"Um... I ..." Chuckling nervously. "I guess they...don't hate you anymore? I'm sorry for them- I just- I don't- Um..this..." He looked at the bracelet, grinning like an idiot.

When Solair bowed to her, Rarity nearly lost her composure and flailed. She didn't think that he would take her gift so seriously. She'd been planning to give the gift as a token of friendship and a reminder that she'd be his friend through thick and thin. She jumped when the lighter-toned cyan-haired brother slammed his fist into the table the princes all sat at. She blinked in surprise as he left, broken plates in his wake. "Wh-What?" She was horribly confused.
She blinked down at Solair, still confused, but smiling. "You're welcome, Your Highness. I made it as a token of friendship, sometime to remind you that I will always support you and be your friend. I'll always be someone you can talk to about your trou--" She was interrupted when the acting king, the darker toned cyan-haired twin, announced his "acceptance" and bowed. "W-Wait a minute!" She cried, but apparently, she wasn't heard.
"Wait!" Rarity was slowly starting to connect the pieces. She frantically tried to get Balthazar's attention. "Your Hi--Your Majesty, I do declare that you're misunderstand--" She was interrupted when Solair, who was, she could swear, literally glowing kept smiling at her and told her he would treasure the bracelet.
She whimpered. What just happened? She needed to leave in a few days to check in with her friends. She had been planning to return after a few days, but now she had another mess to clean up! A misunderstood mess! Whatever sadness she'd thought of at parting was shoved to the far reaches of her mind. Solair didn't seem to understand the consequences of her actions. Rarity wanted to turn back time and start over.
She should have given the bracelet to Solair in private. Rarity sighed. Now what was she going to do? She was still confused as to why the princes took her generosity as a gesture of... affection... when she had plainly proved to all of them she was normally of a giving nature. "Darling, I think we have a little problem," she started, starting to feel achingly guilty. And then her stomach growled. "Um..." Well, she would figure out this mess later. "Let's go eat, darling. I'm quite famished."

Bal had already ushered his other brothers and from his announcement made things even louder with his brothers. This was a glorious day indeed for them, one of their own- but of course, they didn't want to overbare their younger brother with such an intimate moment. Or so they thought.
Sol was positively radiating. "Really this.. show was just to inspire you.. and hadn't been able to get you any gifts.." He would have showered her with gifts if he had been very allowed. .He was more absorbed with her gift, the fact that he didn't give her a gift- now she was fretting and she was looking like she was about to cry. "Wait... wh- what's going on. " Softly offering a pet on the head.. "If.. it's about what my brother said.. I don't listen to half of what they blabber about anyhow."
He preened at her and began to walk her to dinner. When they got there, there was a table set just for the two of them. The brothers- no where in sight. It had a candle and all.. and the servant whom Sol had been talking to was awaiting with a platter for the both of them. When the servant looked up, she looked at both Rarity and Solair, it looked as though she were forcing a smile.
Sol of course, hadn't even realized it was the same servant and helped Rarity in to the chair. "My brothers... really are something else.. I can't believe they .... exaggerated. The gift is beautiful but they are acting so weird." He sat down after Rarity did. The servant set the plates before them. Then stood back away from them.
Sinbad was above them, watching. He had his filling with a friend already.. but who came up next to them to watch them was the pale cyan haired twin. Arion. "You know... she does have a good heart.. she is giving.. She wants nothing more to be his friend, and now with such a gesture. I assure that Solair ..most likely would be happy..."
"Females are decieving creatures brother. She doesn't want anything but to use him and leave, or capture him like the other did. Am I the only one who remembers what it was like without him?"
"Arion... give her a chance.. she may surprise you~!" He smiled at his brother. "Solair deserves to be happy after what happened.. " Sinbad patted his pale brother with a wide smile.

Rarity didn’t know what to say or how to react. She blinked at the setting that loomed before her and Solair, enticing yet intimidating. Obviously the setting was going for a romantic flair, but while Rarity knew she was crushing a little on Solair, in no way did she consider her feelings full blown love. She liked Solair a little more than as a normal friend, but for intents and purposes, she considered Solair just that: a friend. Besides, and Rarity could practically feel her heart shatter, Solair only looked at her as just a friend.
“Darling, you know you don’t have to give me anything,” Rarity said, smiling somewhat half-heartedly. She was truly happy that Solair was extremely happy with her gift to him. “...Your Highness Solair,” she paused, not sure what to say when Solair told her to ignore his brothers, “...I wouldn’t want to ignore them too much. They’re just looking out for you, after all.” Rarity figured Sinbad would be okay with the announcement Balthazar did, but Arion was the one who hated her the most. Rarity sighed. She still hadn’t been able to convince Arion that she all she wanted to do was make friends with Solair.
As she and Solair ate their fill, she looked around to see a servant she had seen that morning standing quietly to the side. It was the same servant Solair had been speaking to when she had left her room in a huff, and Rarity felt her heart twinge again. She was still trying to glue the pieces back together. She wasn’t sure why the brothers would all support her being with Solair when they’d tried to warn her off initially.
In fact, besides Sinbad and possibly Balthazar, Rarity didn’t think she was going to stay around much longer because she didn’t feel especially welcome. She had bore the remarks for as long as she could for Solair’s sake, but her stress and worries were building. Normally she’d be melodramatic and cry out all of her woes, but she had constantly felt as if her life was on the line (which it probably wasn’t, but she wasn’t sure). Not to mention she was worried about her friends back home. Did they wonder where she was?
She turned her attention back to Solair. “Your Highness, tell me more about your customs. I’m afraid I don’t know much, but your brother declared us together.” She didn’t know want to ruin Solair’s innocence. It was what made him absolutely adorable and utterly charming, to the point that Rarity somewhat understood why his brothers were so protective. Rarity wanted, no, she needed more answers as to why the reaction of the brothers was so intense earlier. She had an idea—it made her blush—but she knew that, between her and Solair, it didn’t mean anything more than confusion. “I really appreciated the fashion show, darling,” she continued, unable to stop smiling at Solair. “But I do believe that I need to know more about your culture and customs to make more outfits with the flair I’d love to add!”

The candle light lunch in, was something he admired in the books his mother used to read him. This was suppose to be cute, and he found it perfect for someone as cute as Rarity. He gave a nod.
"Our customs?" His head tilted, a finger to his chin to recall but nothing outstanding came to mind except clothing.
"We all use covers to protect ourselves from sunburn and sand. Woman usually cover the whole faces with cloth and their hair for protection. Men usually do dealings and work. Woman can be heads but aren't usually. They make sure the next generation is prepared. Although ive seen some wonderful female heads that make big businesses. We as a whole love clothing. Especially patterns. Everything is in the details. Earnings are sacred... most do not have their ears pierced. Piercing means of higher nobility... jewelry shows status... " His mind kept digging.
(More)(edited) Then she shrugged. "Truthfully..." He sighed. "I am unsure of most customs that my kingdom has. In fact, im still trying to learn myself. Special tutors... Usually my mother would be helping but. I got sick for so long, that she too got sick. So..." He pondered if he should share, but why not, she was his friend. "My father left to find someone that could aid her. While we stay here... and guard the kingdom. So I haven't had her around, these tutors are too boring.. " heavily sighing over the fact. More) He started to eat and it was that, he did learn manners from his mother. Ate with delicacy.
"But I think I remember my brothers talking about courtships. I guess it's when we get girlfriends or something similiar... we are going to be going over that next week as I am a candidate like my brothers. Or... something. I dont worry much over that.." He smiled at her.
"Is the food good? Lots of spices came from the south islands! I was excited, its sooo good!" Times when food was involved, he seemed to be childish.
"Oh we can meet up with the other designers after this, ok?"

She blinked, surprised at how little Solair actually knew. However, she had a feeling that all his brothers, despite all of them being overprotective of the youngest, would have tried their best to give him all the necessary lessons befitting a prince, youngest or not. "Yes, I noticed everyone here wears covers! They're quite fashionable and useful, particularly because your country is so full of a hot, bright sun!" She agreed, smiling. She took in all the information that Solair gave, and immediately latched on to the information of his mother being sick, and his father being gone. She didn't comment on his family more than she had to--except regarding his brothers because she had no choice there--and she giggled softly. "Darling, I'm so with you. Tutors can be rather boorish! In fact, one of my best friends, Twilight, she's such a bookworm, she could lecture on everything from growing crops to how light bends."
Rarity's smile faded slightly at the thought of all of her friends. She hadn't been back home to see them, and she missed her sister, Sweetie Bell, but she knew she would see them all soon. She just wasn't sure how to broach the subject. She had been planning to leave to cause Solair less trouble, but somehow... She sat straighter as Solair mentioned "courtships." She stared at Solair, debating whether she should press for more details. "Your Highness..." She paused, and then blundered forward. "Are you sure you can't give me more details on courtships, darling?" She glanced at the bracelet she had given to Solair.
"Oh! Yes, darling, the food is simply to die for!" She began to eat more of her fill, realizing she had let her shocked thoughts get the better of her appetite. She wouldn't be able to do any sleuthing or figuring anything out on an empty stomach! She had the strangest feeling that Solair's brothers thought she had proposed to Solair, but she had only been given her new, dear friend a gift; a symbol of their bond. "Some of the spices are rather much for me," she admitted, making a face when she bit into a rather spicy one, "but yes, they're all quite delicious!" She almost choked on her food when Solair popped the news of the designers. "O-Oh! A-Are you serious!?" She had stars in her eyes now, questions from before gone. "Oh, oh!" Rarity began formulating all sorts of designs in her mind, and then without warning, hugged Solair. "Oh, you have no idea how happy I am right now!"
