Lime had been trying to wrangle a youma for the last 20 minutes. He had a plan to let it free at a local cafe midday but thus far? The youma had other plans, plans that included trying to get a bite out of Lime. He'd gotten permission to temporarily use a youma, but as it was, the youma didn't care.

Monsters didn't require permission, they required power to control and power was what Lime seemed to lack. The rope around the owl-horse like beast did nothing to restrain it so much as keep it from running. Lime hadn't even gotten it to that platform where he'd been told to wait for aid to send the youma top side. He was still stuck in a hall, youma tied to a gate from where it had been pulled up and out of a lower pit.

Lime couldn't figure out if he should have just left it or- Reaching for the rope, the youma's beak snapped at him once more.
"For ******** sake!" He yelled.
"You're supposed to attack people not us officers!"

He was not having any luck.

Lime looked over to the voice, not expecting any company. Plus, with all the ambient energy, it wasn't like he could sense anything. Well.
He could, but not very well.

"Really?" He motioned to the youma, who was screeching and trying to thrash its was out of it's bindings.
"You think?" Lime's irritation was easy enough to hear but the loathing look he sent the other man was hardly kind. Realizing he might have been rude and over stepped himself- "Sorry, but yes. I asked to get a youma for some starseed harvesting but they gave me this." As if the beast was not a youma.
"A freaking d**k machine that wants to eat me!" Granted most youma tried to eat officers but he'd been told this one wouldn't. (Maybe).

"And no. I was going to get a ton of energy and starseeds and fill my week quota. I want a day off you know and- Augh No! Stop that!" Lime reeled forward as a stay talon almost got his back. Thankfully, it had only managed to snag part of his coat.

"You ever had any luck with youma?"

"RIGHT?" Lime practically yelled. The youma was powerful sure, but it also wouldn't obey. It was too powerful for a basic and Lime hated to admit- he was pretty basic. "I just wanted to do my job. This is-" He sighed, stepping away from the thrashing monster. "It's not even fair." He muttered.

Lime looked at the other like he was nuts. Starseeds might not be required, but they got you in good with the higher ups. Supposedly at any rate. "I do starseeds because it's like a bonus, and, it keeps them from harassing me if just happen to uh, forget a week. Or decide to ******** off from a meeting." Which he did. Though, not any of the ones from the general kings. Generals? Maybe. Captains- haha good luck.

"I doubt I can work with this youma though.... and I can't just..ditch it."



"Can I?"

Lime looked at the other like he was a god send. Maybe he was, because as soon as the ditch it idea was planted.
"Help me get it to a rift portal and we'll dump it in the city. I'm ready to be done with this thing." He held up one of the chains that bound the creature, who eyed Paracelsian hungrily.

"If we move fast we can get this done in under ten minutes tops, I swear.

While they did manage to get it to a portal and dump it into a park, Lime suffered a few cuts and scrapes, having been the one to remove the chains. The second it was off the hook? It was rushing the nearest civilian with the intent to consume. Lime shuddered, glad he'd just have to make a write off about it.

"Uh." He looked to his new secret ditch the youma companion.
"I owe ya." He finished, holding out his hand for a breif shake. "If you need a thing, give me a holler. I'll help out. Tit for tat ya know?"

The matter settled, he went his own, way, hoping he'd just get a scolding in the end.
