Rarity hummed to herself cheerfully as she walked along; having reunited with Rainbow Dash had brightened her day significantly. She missed the rest of her best friends, but with Rainbow Dash, she hoped to eventually find the others and then Pinkie Pie would throw a big party as she always did. Pinkie was always such a lovely dear and did wonderful parties! But what was most shocking to Rarity was that Rainbow Dash had found a boyfriend. She had always thought Twilight Sparkle would be the first, seeing as she was a princess and all, but perhaps such things were more complicated than being a simple ulaya. But, there weren't any such rules of royalty such as that, as far as Rarity knew. Oh, she had new little ones to dress up eventually! Rarity was quite excited. She definitely needed to hurry and get through the rest of her projects to start on new clothes for the new little dears!
Though the news certainly made Rarity quite happy for her friend, she couldn't help being a little envious. She had always wanted for such a pure, beautiful love, but she knew better. She had seen the worst kinds in her travels as a fasionista, so she knew she had to be wary. Rainbow Dash was so lucky to have found a dashing gentleulaya to have saved her from being stuck in ice! Rarity knew that Dash often went on crazy adventures, but she hadn't realized her friend had been in so much trouble. That hurt Rarity the most, that she hadn't been able to help her friend in her time of trouble. Dash was the type for all action and thoughts later. Lost in her thoughts, Rarity didn't pay attention to her surroundings.

The sands were vast, and beyond the forest, a wonderful palace placed ever so convientantly. It was a place for the lost, it was a place that beyond the mountains and when you lost the ability of direction, you found Solair's home. With his two other brothers that fretted for his health he wasn't ever left alone for too long. Magically entrapped by a young seer's staff- now, would seem you get smothered in extra security. Being the youngest was rather daunting in addition to all the fuss and fret. His wings tucked under many clothes, and a hood over his head to make sure he wasn't spotted by the guards as he went in between the commoners and in to the market place where the scents and sounds made you forget about your troubles. Too overwelmed with his fascination for being back amongst the living, but still used to playing tricks on ulaya when no one could see you.
Oh the complexity of his mental state. He touched an apple and was immediately called out. "Hey- you bruise'm you buy'em!"
Solair's ears flattened. He had forgotten his own stash of money to bring to the market. Solair smiled softly, bowed and put the apple down. "Thank you good sir, I apologize." Then went on to look at the long sashes, and cloths. An assortment of different colors that attracted him towards.

"My, it sure is getting hot around here," said Rarity, coming out of her stupor and realizing she had perhaps wandered a bit too far. However, to her utter delight she also had happened to wander into a bazaar, one of her most favorite places to shop. They had all sorts of interesting things to look at, from food to antiques to rare cloths. Rarity had a strong love for various scarves, so she was super excited to explore and discover some new scarves.
"I'm ever so lucky I wandered into this place!" She exclaimed to herself, trying to control her excitement. She looked about herself, taking in the sights and smells. The sound of a seller caught her ears, and Rarity could only shake her head. Sometimes customers like to touch and feel things to make sure the item was genuine! Goodness, sometimes these shopkeepers were a little ridiculous.
However, Rarity couldn't fault them. She got a little crazy herself when her unfinished products were touched by her sister Sweetie Bell, but she knew it was just because Sweetie Bell looked up to her and so while she scolded her sister sometimes she loved her dearly. After all, Bell was the only sister she had, besides her sister-friends. She continued wandering around, until she bumped into someone because she had gotten distracted but an interesting assortment of jewelry. "Oh!" she gasped, "I'm so sorry!" She turned to apologize to the stranger, and froze. The stranger was rather a handsome one, and he had quite a beautiful golden horn, and... Rarity found herself gaping.

He brought the sashes up for his examination, some shimmered a certain way while the others were just enough suade. In his fascination, he hadn't noticed someone next to him, but when they bumped into him he took a step back and held out his arm enough to catch the other's fall.
"I'M so sorry!" He bowed significantly, but when he rose, his eyes of amber gazed into hers. With pure innocence, he smiled. "Please, let me help you. You, are new here, right?"
He knew his people, and from the looks of her, she was not one of them.
"We wear shaws to protect from the sun's intensity. I'd suggest this~" He pulled a sash out that complimented her cutie mark. A soft blue color, and in exchange. He went up to his ear, unhooked and gave the merchant his earring.
"Woah woah! What else does you want~"
Solair lifted Rarity's hand and inched her towards the merchant. "Make her look like one if us, protect her from the rays~"
"RIGHT AWAY! RIGHT AWAY!"
Cloth flew from one end to the next and finally was pushed out.
While they were dressing her, Solair rubbed the empty space where his earring once was.. noting that he would need a replacement then taking another mental note of taking gold next time he decided to leave the palace.
"Take good care of her, you hear me~" He bowed to the merchant and walked away, trying to figure out a plan in getting back into the palace without being noticed.

She was so stunned at the male's looks that the whirlwind of activity didn't phase her until she realized that he was leaving. Realizing he had given her a beautiful, soft, and light shawl perfect for the current weather, she turned, thanked the shopkeeper once more and went chasing after the stunning creature. "Wait!" She gasped. "Please wait!" He had already gotten a head start so she was almost running to try and catch up. His smile had temporarily blinded her--or was that the sun?--so Rarity could only hope that perhaps this was her chance at her own romance, must like Rainbow Dash.
"Please wait! My name is Rarity!" she called after him. His amber eyes had glittered like the most beautiful gems she'd ever discovered, probably moreso, but Rarity understood the differences. Nothing material would ever compare, but the male had also given her inspiration, and she feared if he escaped she'd lose her next bit of inspiration for her next clothing line. She was constantly working to come up with new ideas, and she just so happened had needed a new muse and now... and now... the beautiful male was leaving!

His mind was off making plans to get back inside before he ended up taking off all his piercings only to hear vibrations directed at him. when you're in limbo for so long, you 'feel' the world in a different way. As she directed her words 'at' him, he turned and was met with the same girl he helped. Completely 'missing' her name, and he homed in on her emotions. How she expanded so much energy by chasing him, he bowed as low as his hips were.
"I'm sorry, did I do something wrong??" He brought himself to height, which he then noticed that he was significantly taller. "What is it?"
He offered her a hand and brought her closer to him to avoid being bumped around by the crowds of the bazaar. He pulled his hood over him more just in case someone would recognize him, and took a step back in between shop merchant separators. "Hmm." He smiled a little with how the merchant ended up dressing her.

"Oh!" Rarity found herself to be a rather nervous wreck. Not only was he a gentleman, but she could just simply swoon at... well, everything. "No, darling, you did absolutely nothing wrong at all!" She finally exclaimed, composing herself. "My name is Rarity, and I was coming to thank you for your generosity!" She smiled at him, supremely aware of his touch when he pulled her away from the crowded bazaar. "What's your name?" she inquired.
He was quite a bit taller than her. Not quite the "dark" part, but most certainly tall and handsome. Rarity found herself trying to keep herself from blabbering useless things. "I must say, you found me something simply gorgeous!" She attempted to keep the conversation going. "You were in quite the hurry! Did you need any help? Anything at all?" She was now somewhat in his personal space, but she didn't mind. What girl would mind being so close to someone like him?! Well, minus the girls who were in love with others, of course.

"Then why were you chasing me~" The inquiry was then pacified by her blurting out her mind, which took him back a bit. Rarity, that was an interesting name.. at least she was polite, which was a plus when in this type of place in the city. His feet felt like running faster, but his good nature kept him still. He looked about suspiciously, now she was asking too many questions which made him take a step back and sigh.
"You are...welcome I guess?" The thankful part was very foreign to him since no one had manners as commoners.
"What can I say, I've seen quite a bit of fashion, and when I see it` I just -see- it. And I saw it on you, plus you needed to cover yourself. Can't have you waltzing around looking like a tourist because these guys would also run you into the ground for 1 apple." He gave her a nod.
"Um... " He looked around, and with her being new around here.. "I'm... Rialos. And I'm trying to get into the palace~ see. I left my mother's pendant in there while I was visiting~ and you see... I kind of don't like commotion, so I don't want to just waltz in there... Just want to get in~ and get out~ not a big deal~?" Which he also didn't realize, that his innocent chatter of going in and out of a place in that manner sounded more like a thief than a common folk. If someone overheard him, they'd probably call the authorities and have him locked up for even the thought of just -getting in and out- of the palace...
"If you could help- Your debt will certainly be repaid!" Although he didn't really think of even asking her for such a thing. Innocence had a way of sounding.. quite different.

Was it just her, or did this guy seem nervous? "Well, Rialos," Rarity felt the name on her tongue, testing it out, "I would be most pleased to help you after you helped me!" She smiled brightly. She figured if she smiled he'd feel less nervous. After all, she most definitely didn't mean any harm, and most definitely was not deeply interested, and was doing a horrible job at hiding it. "Oh dear! You left your mother's pendant! Well, shall I accompany you to the palace? Perhaps I can help you search, I'm quite an expert at looking for jewelry, you see!"
Rarity reasoned that her limited power to discover gems would likely help poor old Rialos out. "Er... but would it be all right for us to go to the palace? Back at my old home, entering a palace was freely given and while I deeply love and respect my sovereign she treated us all equally and did her best to listen to our problems if we couldn't solve them ourselves and..." She trailed off, realizing she had started babbling.
How mortifying! Rarity blinked and tried to play off her babbling. "Well, then, darling, let us off to the palace! I'm sure with another pair of eyes we shall discover your mother's missing pendant!" She declared determinedly. "After all, I must pay you back for this beautiful shawl! And then I actually request a little favor..." She quieted, wondering how she'd ask him to model for her as she did her work.
"So," she was seriously bouncing from topic to topic here, "which way to the palace, my dear Rialos?" Rarity rather liked that his name also started with an R, like hers, but at the same time, she felt like the name didn't quite fit the beautiful male before her. He just seemed so... well, otherworldly, and certainly nothing she could really touch, per say, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to try!

Solair nodded a few times in agreeance with her. Could she help him retrieve the pendant? Even better! He preened at his plan going rather well. Til she got in his face, which he moved back and gave a small nervous laugh. She was extroverted for sure, and that was one thing that a few of his brothers had as a trait. "You have your own sovereign? You see, the palace of ours, our king, well.... at the moment he is on a trip. But usually he has a pretty good ear, just rather have it by appointment so he doesn't get overrun~ which is probably why he had so many kids." Then he saw himself leaking too much information about himself, and although he THOUGHT that- he never really SAID that about his father. One of them would soon inherit this kingdom and there were plenty of brothers willing to fight for it.
Solair, wasn't one of them.
"Since it's by appointment only, and the fact that the king is away, it's better to not raise any alarm. Sneak in. Get in. Get out. If you can help me with that, then.." He didn't even know how he would thank her, but he would. Probably buy her more clothes because it seemed to be something she was so grateful for.
Solair pointed towards the north. "We follow the bazaar all the way down, then we should probably climb up to the top of these homes because its quicker. Then you'll be able to see the palace from up there." He gave her a nod.
"So... you in?"

Rarity laughed at how Solair spoke. If she didn't know any better, she'd think he was a very handsome thief. Well, there wasn't anything wrong with handsome thieves, so long as they were stealing for a good purpose... probably. Well, thieves were a little... she wiped her mind of the strange topic it was going through.
"Your king is on a trip? He can do that?" she said aloud in wonder. So many kids? "How many kids does the king have?" she asked curiously. If he didn't want to answer that was fine with her. "Appointment only, is it? Well, that's too bad, I'd have enjoyed meeting your king," she said as kindly as she could. She thought for a while what Rialos wanted to do, and decided it couldn't hurt. "Well, let's go!" she grabbed his arm and began dragging him towards the palace. "The longer we wait, the less light, the less time!" she declared like it was a motto.
"You may have to keep me focused though," she apologized as she dragged him through the bazaar. "If I see beautiful things, I might, ah, lose focus..." Speaking of, she had just spotted a lovely pair of black socks. Were they made of silk!? Oh, the things she could do to upgrade those socks! Oh! And did they come with an outfit? True to her word, Rarity let go of Rialos to go and check out the stores as they kept going through the bazaar.

"Yea, he can- because all of his kids. And to be honest- I'm unsure of how many~ there is already a lot of us- I mean, there is already a lot of THEM. Yea- meeting them will make your head spin I'm sure. A HELL of a LOT to take in!" He shook his head and acted now completely off, she was TOO easy to talk to, damn foreigners! Before he could dig himself further in to the hole- she grabbed him and dragged him along.
Caught by surprise, when he was dragged along, speed was definitely her strong suit, enough to knock the hoodie off of him, and with his iconic spiral horn that shined so brilliantly within the sunlight.
"THERE HE IS! STOP THEM! STOP THAT KIDNAPPER!" A guard caught them running passed a pair of other guards. Then a whole group of them who had been looking for the prince ALL DAY now got their eyes on him AND the one trying to steal him away! When he heard their battle cry, they abruptly stopped at a merchant. Crap!
"Rarity! Rarity why did we- Oh My- Come on! We gotta go!" He pulled her arm and began running through the bazaar but it didn't take them long before they were tackled to the ground. Sand lifting beneath their feet in the scuffle and both were thrown over a shoulder to each guard.
"Damnit~ Damnit- No unhand her! She is innocent!" "No! She is the kidnapper and she will be force under extreme charges!" Putting a bag over her head just to try and calm her down as if she were an animal...
And along they went, bouncing on the shoulders of the guards all the way up to the palace. Which once there, Rarity was thrown against hard, yet smooth flooring...

"Oh, Rialos, just a mo--" He had grabbed her arm and had attempted to drag her away. And just as she was inspecting that lovely cloth she saw, her world turned upside down and she was manhandled in a way she did not appreciate. "Rialos, run!" She cried, struggling against the guards. "Unhand me, you brute! Fiend! Ugly creature! And unhand my dear friend!" She had realized all too late the two of them were captured.
She found she couldn't escape the grasp of the guard who had a tight hold on her. Rialos! She felt so ashamed that she had gotten them into trouble, although she wasn't sure how. They were just heading towards the palace after all... did they say... kidnapper!?
"How dare you claim me a kidnapper!" She cried with renewed energy. She was not a kidnapper! "I am a visitor! You awful brutes, let us go!" It was then she realized that Rialos's hood had fallen away, revealing his features in stark contrast, and Rarity wished she had a way to take a picture. Despite their struggling, Rialos's features were just breathtaking. Her vision went dark, and she realized they'd covered her face.
And then she was suddenly shoved onto a smooth floor, and as she tried to get her bearings, she realized they were at the palace. Her mind working quickly, Rarity put together various clues. Kidnapper... palace... guards... It can't be! She thought, and looked over at what she hoped was Rialos's general direction since her face was still covered. "Are you... are you...." she couldn't even get the words out, she felt tears starting to appear. She had always wanted to get into royalty, but not like this. She looked away and around, wondering what was going to happen. Hopefully she wouldn't be killed for accidentally spending time with one of the princes.

"It's going to be ok Rarity!" He said softly and tried as hard as he might to get away from them. "Let her down! Let her go! She is a foreigner!"
The prince had been revealed, and as he hit the guard and finally he let the prince down in front of a brother whom was acting like the king. Draped over the thrown as if he had owned it for far too long. He rose, and when he did his face was shown of much disappointed.
"Where did you find him?"
"The Bazaar, sir."
He looked to his brother, walked closer to them and touched the place where one of his earrings were.
"The place you were abducted... you returned there?"
"She has nothing to do with this- please let her go!" Solair growled at him.
"Let...who go?"
"The KIDNAPPER SIR! She was seen dragging the young prince and was trying to escape with him!" The guard answered.
"That isn't what happened!"
His brother lowered himself... and softly pulled the bag from her head... He, like his brother, was like seeing double, except a lot more serious and a lot more angrier. With cyan blue hair, and darker skin but a near carbon copy of Solair's face. "Hello, my apologies, for the manhandling.. If I had been the one to capture you, I would be more gentle." He offered a hand to lift her with respect.
"Explain to me what happened... Solair." He looked to his brother.
"I just wanted to... see the outside again.. without someone at my heels."
"Do you think that is wise, seeing as how you are quite frail at the moment. I don't trust that you know how to make suitable decisons, and for that-" Then another brother came out, this time, as pale as Solair and with Cyan hair, coming up from behind his brother.
"Dear brother... don't be so harsh. Surely you do not know what it feels like to be him since the incident. But even still.." He looked to Solair. "You must be more careful and inform others of where you are going. Do not leave without notifying one of us again." He came up to Solair and hugged him tenderly. "We would hate to lose you again, please do not let us worry like that..." This brother, didn't seem to even notice Rarity at all and poured all his attention to the young prince. In which he touched his face, kissed him on the forehead and hugged him again. They surely looked like they missed him..
"Brother.. Please tell, brother.. that He must let this foreigner go. I was merely showing her our beautiful city..."
The pale brother looked to Rarity, as if looking passed her, then looked at his other- stricter brother. "I do not trust females.. especially after what that ...princess did to him. I would kill her."
"Wait! No brother! Please- don't~! I trust her- she is my friend!" "Friends? ..... Princes don't have friends... they have followers, followers who would do anything to keep-"
"I will let her go... but she will be under investigation and can not leave this palace til we sort this out... But I do not see a reason to kill her, not yet anyways. It would also be a shame, if we did." He smiled to Rarity. "It was a joke, please.. feel free to roam the palace, but remember to not leave, til you give us every detail and we verify. Then you may leave. Please, for this confusion, come eat with us~" He smiled, which didn't seem like he often did. Solair sighed happily and unrobed from that tattered cloak to reveal a more fetching clothing of his status. All his jewelry in just the right place except for the obvious missing earring. He bowed his head at Rarity. "I'm really sorry..."
