Rhys took every chance he got to be out in the training field or in the gym, and today was really no different. The days were almost stringing together because of his very regimented nature, except as opposed to his previously very dreary perspective of the world, things were...better now. Much better. Not that he did anything to show off or make it obvious to anyone that that was the case, but he did find more reasons to smile now. Even with small things like having a good "sparring" session against one of the dummies out in the fields.
It probably made him look a little bit creepy. Not that he cared.
He went on, wailing against said dummy, practicing maneuvers that he thought might be useful in a real fight. It'd be better, of course, if he found someone he could really spar with, but his luck with that had always been s**t and that, unlike his perspective, had not changed at all. Eventually he stopped for a water break and took a seat, dismissing Zephira in the process. It was only then that he spotted someone just a way's away, and he perked up.
"Yo!" he called as he tried to wave them down. "You, yeah you!"
He couldn't tell who it was.

In response to her normally training time, Noemi was in fact NOT training. Instead she was reading a book on different survival medical treatments and walking the field just in case. While the training field was a great place to practice battling, it was also the best place to practice emergency healing techniques.
What better way to help her practice not panicking then panicking on the training field when trainee's got a bit rambunctious?
She was also on her way to deliver a new Alpaca to Shu's door, so between the book and the Alpaca, the girl's hands were full. At first she didn't hear the voice, but then froze like a bandit caught in the act as it got closer.
"Um...Yes?" She turned, looking over and her eyes widening as she saw the very man, while sporting intermediate colors, she had tried to smother with an alpaca plus. The closer he got, the more nervous she did until she blurted, "It's not for smothering you!"
