Quote: The New Year is nearly upon you; all around town, people are buzzing with excitement. Sales are aplenty and among some of the better deals is a popular new brand of champagne. The drink’s been getting a lot of attention and very good reviews; it boasts a guarantee for a magical evening. It’s a promise that holds true—sort of. Anyone who imbibes the champagne will be extremely in tune to their more romantic feelings. They may feel more open, more daring, or more flirtatious towards the object of their affections. Or, maybe a glass of it is enough to make them realize they have feelings for someone…Either way, after ingesting the champagne, romance is all you can think about. The effects last for only a few hours, so you’d better use that time well. The bottles are out of stock quickly, so you are lucky to have gotten your hands on one. Lucky, unless you made a fool of yourself in your romantic haze…

Ciaran wouldn't quite call herself a partier, but she did enjoy going out and getting her groove on. She was a sociable creature, and while she chose to video game as her biggest outlet, it didn't mean she was completely shut it. Her real friends had invited her out and she was going to take advantage of their wonderful kindness.
Her cellphone was packed into a small strap on purse along with her vital parts of her wallet, including one poorly made fake I.D. that stated she was 21 even though well....she was only 19. She only had it for house parties JUST in case cops came by.
Which is where her friends said they were going. A small house party out in the bluffs of Destiny city. Friend of a friend. Some high class fancy place. And boy was it. The house was a whopping 6 bedroom, 3 bath, with a pool and large yard surrounding it. It looked like something she would see from a high tier modern sims 4 mod player.
She whistled as she entered the dimmed room lights full of people who were already part of a clique and talking amongist themselves. For a small party, Ciaran had expected like 20 or less people and she was pretty sure there was more then 100 here. It was tight moving but eventually she was able to get herself a bottle of some champagne and retreat to a clearer area where, and she heard through the crowd, they could see the new years fireworks clearer. With her red solo cup filled with champagne, the blue haired girl too her first sip and then surprised by how good it was, took a bigger gulp.
It wasn't long before she was half a bottle deep and feeling REALLY good.

Austin had friends in the barest sense of the word. They were people that he knew and got along with well enough for short periods of time that made hanging out with them for a few hours not insufferable. He was a flake more than he wasn't, because he ran on his own time and schedule ignorant or uncaring about the time and plans of others.
Still, New Years was known as the day to party even among his racing buddies, who had invited them to one of the parties up by the university housing, so there he was.
The house was booming, bass playing loud enough to shake the walls with screaming girls giggling as they pretended to hate the attention their outfits got and boys who argued over sports and cars and politics.
Those were the kind of people he skirted away from, not wanting to get sucked into the arguments or to play the games of do they or don't they with and he hadn't had nearly enough to drink when it came down to feeling loose enough to enjoy the party. Which was what led him into the kitchen until he found himself the collection of beer of which he'd shotgunned one, then took another out to nurse with him.

Ciaran had finished her bottle by the time that she moved closer to the kitchen, wanting nothing more then another drink. Her friends were caught up in a heated game of beer pong where at least more then a half of the party was gathered around. Ciaran on the other hand was weaving her way through the groups to the kitchen where she bore witness to one giant man shotgunning a beer.
"Chug chug chug!!" She rooted over the kitchen island, before sliding over and stopping in front of him. Her normally too tall 5'11 frame still paled under the giants and she actually had to crank her neck up to look at him.
And boy she liked what she saw. Super cute, with pretty eyes and mussy curly hair she wanted to play with and wow, she must really be feeling the drink because she was currently all about this dude.
"Did you like....slide your height stats to the max or something?" She babbled, putting her arms on her hips and cocking them. She wasn't the most revealing outfit at the party, with her shorts, tights, tanktop and cute half hoodie. Blue hair fell like waterfall behind her back. "I'm Ciaran!" She would've held out her hand but it was busy bringing the red solo up to her lips to finish what was left of that fancy champagne. "Come around here often?" Did anyone come around here, she cracked a smile.

It wasn't odd that he'd amassed an audience when he downed the first beer, Austin Lynch was a man with a presence even if it was largely because he was the tallest person in the room. At six feet and seven inches, he was hard pressed to find someone taller than him, if not even his same height. It happened, but so rarely that he sometimes forgot they existed.
What he didn't expect was to be followed around by a girl who was...attempting to hit on him.
While it wasn't odd for girls to step his way for a good time™ he usually instigated most of the flirting. This was a nice change of space and it he was relaxed when he turned, beer held loosely by two fingers and his thumb, and gave the girl a once over.
"Almost," he cracked, wiry grin on his mouth when he lifted his drink to take a swig. "Austin, and that depends on the day. Don't think I've seen you at one of these before."

"Can't fool me there." She smiled sweetly at him, tapping the side of her head at his comment. "You'd definitely by the highlander kind of guy!" She was surprised he stopped though and since her glass was empty, set the red solo cup off to the side to join an already ongoing mash pit of people's drinks.
"Nice! Oh yeah, what kind of day you have to be in for these kind of things?" She didn't know how to flirt but she was trying to be polite. Plus her head was a bit fuzzy from the alcohol. Luckily she wasn't the kind to slur her words. At least she didn't think she was yet.
She was a bit slower though so she didn't make a complete fool of herself. "I came with some friends!" She brightly cheered as others did when someone made some amazing beer pong shot. "I've been to this place like...maybe once or twice. Kind of easy to sneak into house parties if you know one person." She did have much to do with her hands, so she crossed them under her chest.
"To be honest, I'm a gamer girl. These scenes aren't usually my dig." on a happier note, her smile turned to him again, "But I don't mind coming when I get to see like fully maxed studs! A+ character creation skills! On point!" She gave him a thumbs up.

Austin watched the girl with mild interest, though his gaze kept dropping down to her chest.
"The willing to deal with people kind of day," he answered, grinning over the lip of his beer can before he took another swig. "Must be your lucky day, getting the right, what's it, spawn to meet me." It wasn't his best pick up line, but he tried anyway and even winked to help it.
"Or," he paused, tongue slipping out to wet his lips, "maybe it's my lucky day, if you've got a low spawn rate in these parts." He played pokemon way back in the day but his other gaming was limited to race car games and some fighting games.
Generally speaking, they weren't his thing.
But he wasn't above pretending.
"Do you want a private viewing of what's beneath the armor?"

She didn't mind him checking the rack. It was pretty decent. That was, she wouldn't mind, if she wasn't currently checking him out from head to toe.
"Ohhhh. Thats fair there, good lookin'" She snapped her fingers at him, "Oh...s**t!" She bounced, "You're a rare spawn, that's amazing! I love those, the satisfaction of meeting one is so fun in game..." she waited, "uh and outside it too!"
Her smile was really wide and she rested her hand on his arm....and then squeezed. Holllllllllllllyyyyyyy s**t.
"Private?" She almost didn't comprehend, but it dawned slowly and she looked at her friends who were well....busy. If she disappeared, it wouldn't matter. Her gaze looked back up at him and the smile widened again. "I would be a fool not to take advantage of such a rare spawn." She opened up a way, "Show me the way good lookin'!"

It was settled well enough, with Austin slinging his arm around the girl's shoulder. They'd hit it off pretty well given how short of a time frame they'd known each other for. If she was down for some private time, then he had no qualms about giving her such.
So, he lead her off towards one of the many bedrooms in the house, careful to pick and unoccupied one so that she'd get what she wanted.
