Additional Plot Points
1. Split City ▬ Vale's widespread acceptance of faunus has caused a schism inside of vale. The elites have been divided into those who oppose faunus leadership within vale, and those who support it. It is believed that the bandit groups living on the outskirts are being funded by the racist elites. You can assume that roughly 40% of Vale's elites are secretly, or publicly racist and supporting the terrorist bandit group known as ₮hẻ Ṫriḅẻ.
2. ₮hẻ Ṫriḅẻ ▬ The most well known bandit group comprised of only the strongest. They are radicals that will the deaths of all who resist their anti-faunus movement. They will accept faunus as tools only, and ultimately plan to eradicate their existence from Vale. They have taken control of some dust mines and are believed to have many internal black market ties. They have gone as far as to invade beacon, kidnap and murder students, and even set off bombs on the campus killing countless students. Security has since tightened giving beacon a more military-esque feel. The headmaster, Aurtrox, had his own younger sister murdered by the Tribe and he will stop at nothing to destroy this villainous group.
3. Ṿσяα¢ισυѕ ▬ Also known as The Demon Clan. The 'demon' name is actually just a misnomer due to the fact that goats and sheep are often utilized to portray demonic entities throughout history and the primary members of Voracious are goat and sheep faunus and thus display the standard 'demonic' traits. The faunus often possess physical traits and semblances that are particularly well suited for extended combat (e.g., strength, endurance, pain reduction, ability/skill mimicry, speed or positional displacement, etc). These natural talents, combined with their fierce appearance and passion made them the perfect soldier. They were almost always the prized soldiers of any milita and many kingdoms would compare military prowess by the number of goat and sheep faunus they possessed within their ranks.
This clan was not forged from bravery and honor though, it was forged out of blood and desperation. The goat and sheep faunus, as powerful as they naturally were, preferred to live a peaceful life and most of them refused to join the military. When the grimm populations started to get out of hand the kingdoms drafted the faunus at unusually high rates compared to other groups and forced them into combat, but even worse, the bandit groups began to target the faunus for their slave trade. In order to survive outside the kingdoms the illegal bandit groups needed to become stronger and this proved an effective countermeasure to their problem. Soon the faunus became the most lucrative 'item' on the black market. More than 80% of all goat and sheep faunus were believed to be slaves at its worse. This is how ṿσяα¢ισυѕ began. A young demon faunus eventually started a revolt against their slavers. They formed a small group and called themselves ṿσяα¢ισυѕ, as they were eager to destroy and consume the system that so unfairly used and abused them. Ṿσяα¢ισυѕ was composed purely of demon type faunus to start and had a single goal; to stop faunus and human trafficking by any and all means necessary. Within a matter of two years they infected the entire kingdom of Vale and ruthlessly killed anyone in association with human trafficking. The government turned a blind eye for a long time as these criminal syndicates had long been a problem, but when Ṿσяα¢ισυѕ had finished its goal they moved to an even greater dream that the kingdoms were not too fond of; they sought to create a kingdom of their own. A kingdom ruled by demon faunus only, but accepted any and all who had been a victim of human/faunus trafficking into the ranks of their citizenry. Their power was great enough to spur a massive military strike on their base of operations. A bloody war broke out over the next year. Eventually ending in the leader being struck down and taken captive. The remaining clan was scattered across the four kingdoms and hunted ruthlessly. Few goat and sheep faunus exist today, and those that do are closely monitored by the kingdoms for suspicious activity. Most demon faunus either worship the Ṿσяα¢ισυѕ, or hold extreme disdain for them. Most goat and sheep faunus are believed to have returned to the distant mountain lands from where they originated. The growing grimm populations have protected them from the four kingdoms' grasp. Rumors have circulated that the leader of the clan is still alive under the protection of one of the kingdoms, but his fate is unknown.
4. Crimson Fang ▬ "We're better than humans. We Are everything humans ARE and more! Humans shouldn't just fear the Faunus, they should serve the Faunus." This belief forms the foundation of Crimson Fang ideology. They are A radical militant group that prefers to keep to the shadows of alleys. Most of them masquerade as normal citizens. They even have students within Beacon itself. Though, they usually muster their ranks from common faunus street gangs. The Crimson Fang is known for its clandestine actions in every tier of society and greatly feared among the lower classes. They have recently penetrated the elites and now have a several figureheads who support their ideology.
They are trying to usurp the government, by placing those sympathetic to their cause into power. This can be by financial backing, blackmail, "accidents" and the likes thereof. They are not above torturing and brainwashing to gain information necessary for their victory. They will stop at nothing to to turn Vale into a faunus kingdom.
Their leadership is a mystery, no one has directly met the leader of the Crimson Fang, but it's said if you did, you won't ever talk again. Some claim that Aurtrox is the leader of this faction, but he publicly denies it. Aurtrox has been known to publicly disparage this group and condemn their actions. Nonetheless, this group has gained momentum ever since Aurtrox has gained his role as Headmaster of Beacon.
5. THE CHASM ▬ Team YAAZ was undertaking a mission to defend and aid the repair of one of the perimeter walls when things went wrong. Large grimm, and a throng of small grimm attacked them. Injuring some of them severely. The throng of grimm came from a chasm that appeared out of nowhere. This chasm leads into a dark abyss that must be explored. What kinds of dangers could exist down there? Does it extend beneath Vale? Where does it lead?
