Quote: The power’s out! On a cold day like today this is the absolute last thing you needed. But, despite how beautiful that ice on the wires is, it does not make for a friendly day filled with warmth and electronics! But, there should be trucks coming out soon to fix the issues, how do you cope with the slowly creeping chill? Are you the type to snuggle up with someone you care about and huddle down to keep warm? Or are you the type to get the heck out until it’s warm enough to once more inhabit your dwelling? Caliban huffed as he looked down from the rooftop that he was currently on. "Like I thought, looks like the whole city is out." He muttered to himself. The power had gone out suddenly in the store when he was working, and the owners had let him get off early because of it. They had waited a bit to see if the lights would come back on, but it looked like the cold had just become too much for the lights and they had shut down. Caliban didn't like it. Sure, there could be a simple explanation for it, such as the cables freezing and whatnot, but since he had been a senshi for almost a year, every time something seemingly innocuous happened, Caliban had always wondered in the back of his mind whether or not it was as innocent as it appeared. And so when he had been allowed to go home, instead of doing so, he had gone a bit away and powered up, hoping to see if he could get a better idea of what the situation was on some of the roofs. And to his disappointment the entire city was off. Not good. He thought to himself as he tried to see if there was anything going on. However, it was just too dark to tell. He growled a bit, and hoped off the roof, heading down into the street. They were pretty much deserted. When one lived in Destiny City, they learned that staying out meant trouble, as much as the Negaverse tried to hide it, it was known not to be out too late at night, especially when the lights were off. And it was a new moon too, which meant that it was too dark. Caliban wished that there was at least a partial moon tonight, but alas, it was not to come. And then, he felt it. Well, two things. One was another aura signature. But the other... it was something he did not want to appear tonight. He headed in it's direction though. If something was going on, then he needed to stop it.

Michiko frowned as she watched the lights go out in her house, she wished for the millionth time that her parents were home, then she went to look at the fuse box and saw the ice on the wires that couldn't be normal that just didn't happen. So she transformed into Sailor Dejanari and went out to look for the cause of the blackout. Jumping from rooftop to rooftop. She wasn't sure what she would do if she found a Yuma, she never was after all she had learned about them. Had they once really been humans, if they weren't dusted could they be saved? Dejanari stopped on a roof and sighed she was a lousy scout she didn't think she was brave enough for this job, how had she ended up in this position. Sumi had given her, her pen, but Sumi had felt that she was a scout before she had ever been able to transform into a scout. So that meant this was always meant to happen right and she couldn't run away from fate. She continued on her way feeling the auras in the dark cold city, even though the magic of her costume kept her warm she still felt like she should be cold. She shivered and headed in the direction of what she thought was causing the blackout.

Caliban got closer to where he was feeling the aura of the youma. He really, really didn't want to be heading this way, as youma seemed to be so unpredictable in what types they were, and the last one he had fought was made of pure stone. That was not fun to punch. Literally. He almost felt like his entire hand was going to shatter when he had tried punching it. So he was prepared not to try and punch this one until he knew what it was like. Getting closer, it seemed that he was getting closer to what seemed to be the power grid for the city, but the aura was a bit aways from it. Good, that means I won't be seen by any workers that might be at the grid. He thought as he moved in closer. Unfortunately though, what he could see where sparks coming from... something. It was hard to tell in the darkness. Suddenly though, the entire area lit up and Caliban hadn't shut his eyes in time, getting a full blast of the light that had just been shot out. He blinked a few times, trying to get the spots out that were now in his eyes, but couldn't. And that's when he heard a loud screech...

Dejanari was still learning about youma, what their powers were, how they fought. She had mostly only fought youma that seemed like wild monsters and she was nervous about trying to face one that looked more human. Worried she wouldn't be able to dust a youma that still looked human. Dejanari didn't really think much about the workers, she was more worried about a youma hurting a innocent civilian, that was the reason she kept fighting to protect those who couldn't protect themselves. She was not far behind the aura of another senshi when a bright light appeared at full force blinding her for a moment. She heard the screech, rubbing at her eyes trying to clear them to figure out what was going on she moved towards the other senshi slowly and said. "I'm Salior Dejanari." in a very soft tone.

Caliban was glad that the other senshi was here, and if he remembered correctly, he saw her being attacked by spiders a while back too. The spots in his eyes were finally starting to fade, and he could just make out something coming towards them, with a bright light on it. " Caliban, good that you're here." Or at least he was pretty sure, one never knew if a fellow senshi was going to be more trouble than they were worth. However, he coudln't dwell on it, because the youma was coming ever closer, and Caliban was finally able to look at it. It looked like walking electrical wires. Definitely not something one wanted to punch right away, lest they be electrocuted. "Shoot, this is going to be tricky. Your attacks ranged or something? I can punch it, but I'm pretty sure I would also be electrocuted, and I'm not sure how much power that thing has." He didn't want to make her feel as though he didn't have her back, and stayed with her.Midnightglow18 Since I'm unoriginal, I'm making it look like a pokemon : P

(Looks perfect to me for a blackout youma XD go idea) She nodded to Caliban and then looked towards the youma that looked like it could cause a blackout in a heartbeat. Dejanari nodded and said "Yes my attack Raspberry jam smash is a throw attack." She said softly "I have enough power to do it twice, but shouldn't we seek out some rubber gloves or try to kick it first to weaken the youma?" She wasn't a very experienced scout but she wanted to help the best she could. She didn't believe this one had once been human it looked far to strange to her to have been a human right? But what if she was wrong. Still, though this couldn't go on the city would freeze all the civs helpless.

"Kicking it might be a better idea." Or at least he figured it would pretty much be impossible to go and find some rubber gloves in the area. It's not like they would be lying around. "How about I distract it, and I can use my boots, and then you try to attack it, and then I'll follow up with one of my attacks?" He at least hoped she agreed to it, because it seemed that the youma had finally caught onto the fact that they were there, and was now heading towards them, though more at a slow jog than a full-out run.

Dejanari nodded listening to the plan it was a good plan or so it would seem and she hoped it would work well. She moved into position and waited for Calian to distract the youma then she jumped to attempt to kick the youma. She was still learning all this fighting stuff, in her normal life she never thought she would be trying to protect the city like this.

Well, it seemed that the other senshi was willing to follow his plan, and so he started to yell at the youma, getting in front of Dejanari. "Hey, you!" Not that it would know who 'you' was, but it at least might turn in his direction from the noise. And it seemed to work as it let out a small screech, holding out one of it's arms, like it was about to grab Caliban. Caliban used his boot to try to kick it out of the way, and was thankful that he at least was in a bit of shape to be able to kick in the way he did. The arm was knocked away, but the other one shot out, heading straight for him. He hoped that the other senshi was at least readying her attack!

Sailor Dejaniar got into position after she had attacked the youma with a kick, she moved to get ready to do her Raspberry jam smash. She ran and jumped up bringing down her ball of magical raspberry jam ball flying straight for the youma. She wasn't sure if it would be enough to dust the lights out beast but she could hope. She cried out "Raspberry Jam Smash!!" Her fighting style wasn't very elegant but she was still learning and her skills were slowly improving. Her first battle she had no idea what she was doing.

Caliban was a bit surprised at how high the other senshi could jump, and made sure not to look under her as she went up. Luckily, it seemed she hit her target squarely, and the youma stumbled back. Hopefully one more hit should do it. He thought as he yelled out "Seal Matrix!" and punched it in the head, now that it didn't seem to be coursing with so much electricity. He thought he felt a bit of a jolt, even with his gloves on, but as soon as he had landed his attack, the senshi was dusted! He sighed, running a hand through his hair before looking at the other senshi. "Thanks, I don't think that youma would have been so easy to dust if you hadn't been here." He said, giving her a small smile. Help was always appreciated when it came to this sort of stuff.

Dejanari smiled a little at the thanks, she was glad they were able to take care of the youma together. She wasn't sure what else to say. "It was no problem." She said softly. "Umm well, I suppose I should be going.."

Caliban nodded. "All right then. I'll see you later sometime then probably. Feel free to talk if you need it." He said, before taking off, glad that it hadn't become worse, glad that he could go back home and finally sleep for the night. Midnightglow18 All right, last post from me, thanks so much!
