Whilst his winter coat meant that Liryn didn't mind being out and about in the cold, it didn't mean that the small tabby bobcat mauvian actually liked the cold per se - rather it was more that he didn't let something like the weather being cold impede him from going about his day to day stuff–

And in this case his day to day stuff involved heading to Cat HQ.

It was plan B rather than plan A - because plan A had involved staying near to a heat source in the apartment that he, Orah and Arian all shared and maybe working on a few bits and bobs–

Well at least that had been the plan until the power cut out, but with the power out Liryn had decided on plan B instead in the hopes that HQ was at least warmer than the apartment.

He had run into Brioche along the way and two of them had ended up continuing on to headquarters together, with Liryn having to remember to slow down on his brisker trot from time to time so as to not leave his older and bigger friend behind.

But eventually they reached HQ and Liryn cheerfully let himself in, a part of him happy to get out of the outside cold - make that very happy to in fact.

Brr! It was so cold outside!!

One particular lilac point Mauvian came bursting into HQ, half-covered in a light dusting of snow. He'd shaken himself furiously just outside the door so as not to cover everything else in snow, and sought the warmth that only headquarters could provide. Zach's house was out of power at the moment, and he had departed with his father to do some Christmas shopping. The pair had come up with a plan before parting ways, so Itsuki wasn't wandering around all on his own.

"Konbanwa, minna-san~" was his cheerful trill, spying a few familiar faces (and a few new ones!) "Bernard-san! Maki-ko! Konbanwa~" With another shake, Itsuki trotted up to the Mauvian he did not recognize, with a lovely golden bracelet. This one was someone new!

"Konbanwa, Nya-san! Watashi wa Itsuki desu~" With a bow, the lilac point sought to introduce himself to every Mauvian he could. Best to learn each other's names and work as a team!

Based on breed, a Turkish Angora should be fine in some nippy weather but as Arthur, he wanted to be home. He had left to gather some last minutes things for the holidays when the snow really came down. Being all white made him invisible to people as he tried to navigate through the snow best he could but was almost stepped on or nearly hit. It was pitch out and he noticed the streetlights were out which meant his house night be too.

However, he reached a point where the snow was coning down heavy enough he was getting lost and changed course to the HQ instead. With his own device, he texted Mordred.

I got stuck in the blizzard and had to stay in HQ. I promise the moment the snow lightens up that I'll rush home. Be safe and stay warm. Love you.

Shaking off the snow he was surprused by all the cats here. Was it always this busy?

"Evening. Crazy weather we are having."

The Savannah Mauvian hated the cold. Though Réalta usually preferred to stay outdoors and find herself a nice small space to curl up in, the power outages reduced her options for warm spaces. The option to impose upon the few senshi she was more familiar with was not an option, as she deemed such a thing irresponsible on her part, and instead finally opted to venture to the HQ. A space she rarely, if ever, approached.

Which she was aware was a poor habit she should fix...

It didn't surprise her in the slightest to slip in and find herself among a handful of other guardians who had a similar idea, content with finding herself a spot near a warm gust of air and try to clean her necklace from the now melting snow that had clung to it despite her shake outside of the building. Water she didn't mind. Cold water...

Near a darker feline, she offered a friendly smile and a quick, "Hello," to the little one (Ichta) though kept a distance out of respect. Plenty warm enough without crowding into each other's space, after all.

As more and more cats came filtering in, Ichta bunched herself closer and closer to her vent of choice, looking over all of them with wide eyes and a half curious 'prrrt?' in greeting to each of them. Most of them seemed to have their own plans on what they'd be doing, though it looked as though a majority of them were there for the same reason; Warm vents and power outages.

"Looks like we may have a bigger outage than I thought," she said quietly, though to nobody in particular. Still, they will had power and if push came to shove, they could have always formed and enormous kitty-cuddle pile. Ichta certainly wouldn't have mind. Though most of these Mauvians were near strangers at this point.

Réalta's was given a sniff in her direction, ears perking at the greeting. "Hullo," she greeted quietly in turn. Itsuki's entrance caused her to perk up with some alarm. He was very friendly, she'd give him that, and it wasn't a bad thing. He was just a bit higher energy than she was used to. "Hello, Itsuki," she greeted to him as well before she looked over the other cats assembled.

"Think the power will be out all night?" she asked to all assembled. Though it was a very quiet question so it could have been missed.

“I am doing much better now that I’m inside,” Etoile chirped cheerfully, in response to Arthur’s question, “Though, I do hope that there’s food.”

Oh sure, Etoile had eaten earlier, but the Somali kitten was never truly full, and being parted from her beloved sweets was practically a death sentence to her. How would she survive?

More cats were filtering in, some Etoile guessed she may have seen before, if she thought about it long enough. Like her, it seemed that they, too, had been caught out in the snow.

“The power is out in a lot of places, I think,” she mused aloud, to the fluffy black cat that had followed her in.

Itsuki was so happy to see so many faces - both new and old. He sought to introduce himself to as many Mauvians as he could, considering this a wonderful way to meet new cats and make lasting bonds. Waggling his fluffy tail back and forth, the lilac point did his best to give everyone some sunny attention. The little curly kitten was bumped gently on the forehead, star-to-star. He was relieved to find that she was safe and sound, happy to keep warm on a vent in HQ.

"Maki-ko, are you keeping warm? There are so many outages around town! Do you think the Negaverse has anything to do with it? Or maybe it's the bag weather we've been having? Either way, I'm glad we have somewhere warm to go, no matter what. Are you hungry, Maki-ko?" To her question, Itsuki had to take a moment of silence to think. "Uwah, I hope not. I like the headquarters and all these new friends, but I also hope they have somewhere warm to go when the power comes back on. I hope it's not too long! We might need to go get more food~"

To the larger black cat, Itsuki beamed happily. "Bernard-san! I'm glad you're keeping warm! You're also so fancy, Bernard-san. I heard that you awakened Ker---err... Nix-chan! He's working so hard. You must be very proud, Bernard-san!" Indeed, the frog senshi was working diligently to improve his abilities and help the city become safer.

"Arthur-sama~!" came a greeting to the white cat with glasses. "It's go to see you! How are you? Is the power out where you are?"

To the new, lavender-colored cat (who was quite a bit bigger than Itsuki himself), the lilac point seemed very impressed! "Konbanwa, Nya-san~! Welcome to Headquarters! Oh, maybe you've been here before? But it's nice to meet you! Watashi wa Itsuki desu~"
