Late nights were of the norm for Liv. It wasn't because she enjoyed being social. No, rather it was due to her own curiosity that kept her up late at night, sometimes wandering the house halls to see who else was up. She was never one to socialize but judging character she was apt in. It was one of her favorite past times. And the night offered plenty of interesting creatures to study.
However; when lunch came around the next day, she found that she was too tired to eat decently. A small snack sufficed until dinner. Yet again, she went to the halls.
Like right now. She folded her legs up, arm looping around her knees. No one was around that she could see. Rarely anyone was. And if they were, it was easier to ignore them in lieu of slumbering. People minded their own business. It was nice.
With a wry smirk, her eyes drifted closed.

Nym was on his way to... well, no particular destination. He was merely wandering but if anyone were to ask, he had very important things to do and no time to talk to the likes of them. Except, now he was bored.
His yellow against black eyes fell on a slaugh. Was she... sleeping? His eyes narrowed and he stood over her, looking down at her. ”Are you homeless, bum?” he asked with a small, growing smirk. The likelihood of homeless on campus was low but that didn’t stop him from teasing. He tilted his head to the side. ”Or an animal that doesn’t like being in a bed to sleep?” he asked mockingly.

Liv cracked open a bleary eye. If looks could kill, she bet his a** would be on the floor. Homeless. Feh. She looked more together than he was. And more...pure. The girl's lips went from pursed to a sly grin. Without moving her arm, she kicked up and towards his stomach with a foot, giving him a push. He was fortunate enough that she wasn't wearing heels.
"Do you see any beds around here?" Liv snickered, raising her head to get a better look at him. He looked...similar to her. Odd. So odd. "Are you homeless?" her eyes roved around before she gave him a wide grin. "Because you sure don't know where you're at." She cocked her head to the side. "Are you lost little boy?" Okay, maybe she was a bit cranky.

Nym fell back and onto the ground, arms immediately circling his stomach. W-what had happened? Had she just kicked him?! Really?! What a brute!
He scowled at the female slaugh. He was only partially slaugh but that didn’t mean he was inferior. He was taken in by a high class family. Even on the ground, he turned his chin up, determined to look down at her from his nose. ”Little boy?” he scoffed with a roll of his eyes and pushed himself off the floor. It took a great deal amount of work to keep his face from twisting in pain. His stomach hurt. A lot. ”I have a place, girl,” he retorted with a sniff.

A grin formed on Liv's face as soon as she fell to the ground. Victory. She rolled her foot in front of the hybrid before placing it back down on the ground, now more alert than ever.
She raised a brow at the male condescendingly. What else would she be looking at? His voice didn't sound deep like most mature men her age. Obviously, he hadn't hit puberty yet. She couldn't even hear a crack in his voice. There was no facial hair on him. Liv cocked her head to the side. "Are your ears not working? You're a little boy." The only thing going for the hybrid was his height. She was sure that he was at least her height. How annoying.
Liv made a shooing motion with her hand. She was tired of this one. "If you have a place then go. You have no place here."

He was still a little boy to her. His back stiffened indignantly. What a lowlife, scum of the earth, b***h! His lips twitched into a sneer for a moment before he dusted off his clothes with measured strokes. He was trying to calm himself. The lesser was the man who lost his temper first. And he refused to lose his temper to this insolent brat.
”I can very much go wherever I please. I don’t see you owning this spot,” he told her shrewdly before a smirk came. ”In fact, I don’t believe you could possibly own much of anything,” he told her decidedly.

Liv snorted. "Really? Your mom and dad aren't worried about where you’re at?" The slaugh's eyes widened before she gave him a beaming grin. "That's right! You're homeless." The boy probably didn't have a family. What a pity. Except, she couldn't care less. The hybrid probably deserved it. He ruined her nap. Lunch was probably nearly over and she couldn't exactly sleep in the next class. Ugh. Why did he have to ruin everything?
"It's my spot right now," she raised a brow. Liv hoped he'd come closer. Another swift kick to his stomach was needed. Especially if he was stupid enough to come into legs reach. ”I own the clothes on my back. More than you probably own. “ The slaugh smirked. He wasn’t that good looking. ”Did you get that outfit from the trash? It looks pretty worn. Well used.” Liv tilted her head to the side, watching the other nightmare carefully.
