History: Born into the Wonka Pridelands, Dawn is quite the pampered, protected, ignorant young lion. She, unlike Brooke (who she is yet to meet), knows nothing of the world beyond her father's pridelands, having a full belly, and playing like the carefree lioness she is. She has no thoughts of ever leaving the pride. At least, she seems to have her mind fixed on living forever as the little princess of Wonka's pride. Her idea of her future is perhaps a little light hunting, but mainly lazing around near the water and having a good time. Her, frankly, narrow-mindedness has not kept her from considering that she might one day meet a handsome young lion and fall madly in love with him, but it has barred her consideration of that fact that she may eventually leave the pride with a lion she would call her mate.
Personality: Dawn rarely ever takes things to heart. She will fend off insults with a mere laugh and forget about it. She is fickle, and she tends to change her mind at every possible turn. One moment, she may be thinking of what to eat for dinner, and the next, she could be focused entirely on the fact that one of her siblings (namely Damian) had on her father's coat, which she wanted to rip to shreds.

Kitkat: Dawn's mother. And to Dawn, the most motherly mother in all the Wonka Pridelands (which is much like the world to her, due to her being quite the ignorant little cubbeh xD).
Willy Wonka: Dawn's father. She doesn't like his top hat. If it fell on her, it would eat her up like a monster. Her father wears a monster! gonk

History: Brooke's parents were rogues. Her father, Aniko, was an irresponsible, careless young lion, and after her mother had their cubs, he disappeared. Vanished one day, never to be seen again. After Aniko left, Brooke's mother, Brio, became ill-tempered and disdainful. She was still young, like the lion she had thought to be her mate, and she was inexperienced. She couldn't very well take care of a litter on her own, even if it was just two cubs. She would leave them by themselves, barely bothering to find them shelter, and hunt, leaving little for the cubs. Before long, Brooke and her sister became weak. They toddled slowly after their single mother. Brio seemed to one day decide to teach the cubs how to hunt. It was early yet, and they had barely the strength to follow her. But she taught them, regardless. They learned how to hunt. And from a young age, they practically took care of themselves. Brio no longer really provided any food but leftovers, and that was not enough for the two of them.
Then Brooke's sister fell sick. The two siblings were incredibly close to each other, and Brooke refused to leave her sister's side. They would sit in a shade while their mother reluctantly hunted for them.
But one day, there were giant roars that echoed around the cubs. Brooke and her sister sat, terrified. Then their mother emerged from behind some bushes. She snatched up Brooke's sister in her jaws, quite roughly, and commanded Brooke to follow. Brio took off running. Her very life depended on it, and her mind was off of Brooke. Brio didn't bother to look back, and before long, Brooke had lost her.
Since then, Brooke has wandered on her own. Living by herself has taught her to be wary, cautious. Of everything. She makes little friends on her ways, and she is lonely. She is, however, fiercely loyal to any and all she calls her friends and allies.
Personality: Living on her own, Brooke is extremely defensive of herself. She knows not to trust anything until she has gotten to know it, and even then she will hardly ever consider anyone her 'friend.' She is immensely loyal to all that matter to her, be it a little bird, or even a whole pride of lions. She may seem friendly, but her instinct of self-defense, honed to perfection, could tell her to strike at any second. She is alert, aware, everyday and every second of every day. Her instinct to defend is great, and she is a good fighter because of it. She is witty and cunning, and a stealthy tracker. Her refusal to be bullied and picked on makes her retaliate, be it with words or actions. But behind it all, she is honest.
Acquaintances
Queen Elli: A wonderfully nice lioness who made Brooke feel loved and at home for the first time in her life.
Rackna: The king of the old pride. Brooke hasn't gotten to know him quite well, and so far, he's so big he's a little intimidating.
Rellick: A boisterous, mischievous young lion. Not a lion anyone would expect Brooke to consider her first friend. Now he's the king of her new pride, and boy, she's proud.
Brazen: Quieter than Rellick, and perhaps (at least to Brooke) more sensible. Strangely, the lioness seems to prefer something about Rellick's noisiness to Brazen's calm. Most unexpected, even to Brooke.
Jadera: The beautiful sister of Rellick and Brazen. Brooke would be hard pressed to admit it, but to her, Jadera is exactly what a princess should and would look like.
Areli: She hasn't formed much of an opinion about this lioness yet.
Amaree: Brooke hasn't known Rhee for long, but she has a good impression, and already, she feels at ease around the lioness. She likes Rhee, and will help her guard her secret crush on Rellick for as long as she needs to.
Jax: That little lump of useless, sneaky, stalking, hiding, scavenging excuse for a lion! Ooooh, this little this may be cute and smooth-talking, but he's a right little nuisance!
Nuka: She thinks he's a one-feathered, winged retard. Maybe she's right.
Jaharaa: She and this little Nuka think they're the best, and Brooke hates lions like this. She hates how they act coolest, and then chicken out. And she hates their attitude.
Revyn: Just SUCH a better first impression of this cub than Jax.
Jayvyn: This big black lion really gets on her nerves, and she really doesn't know why. Smooth-talking and undeniably quite handsome, isn't that something every lioness likes? Perhaps not Brooke.
Shey: How can this be her sister? Isn't her mother... dead?

Jax and Cade are possibly what could be called twins. They are more half-siblings that brothers. Their mother had been wandering alone when she was ambushed by a rogue young male. It was spring, and the lion force-mated her and then ran off.
Their mother, unaware of the fact that she really was pregnant, continued travel the desert lands alone. Two days after her scarring encounter with the young rogue, the mother met another lone lion, wise and caring, and they had fallen in love in no time. Being spring, their mother and this new lion, the love of her life, mated.
Not long after, the lioness found herself pregnant. She and her mate never settled down in one spot, but stayed in a corner of the desert until the cubs were born. The two looked nothing alike, and were nothing alike either. While the dappled gray Cade looked like the lioness and her mate (The mother was white, and the father was gray), and was calm and serious like his parents as well, the golden-brown Jax was energetic and bore no traits of the father.
Jax was all about having fun, and he didn't care how he had fun. He was easily influenced by others - so much so that his parents shielded him from the world exclusively. They wished for him to remain a good-hearted and caring lion, and became overprotective. Jax was kept away from other lions for his entire cubhood.
Cade was all about learning and being good. He stood firm for what he believed in, and he was stubborn and rarely changed his mind. He knew what was good, what was bad, and how to keep himself out of trouble. He was very dependant on his doting parents, and in being like this, he picked up the habit of being overprotective.
And that could have been the end of it. Two parents, two cubs, lived happily ever after. But it wasn't.
The twins' mother had never told her mate about the day she had met the rogue lion, and when she saw Jax, she was horrified - he looked so much like that rogue lion. This she kept to herself for as long a time as possible, until she could not anymore. She mulled about it day and night, and became paranoid that her mate would find out. She was on edge all the time.
But her mate took it worse than she had thought he would. He was angry - oh, so very angry - and left her and the cubs without a second thought. He had first thought to kill Jax, but the lioness had defended the cub.
The lioness then confided in Jax. She knew that this cub had to be the son of the rogue lion, and so she told him the truth. Jax, who had never been a big fan of his parents for their having kept him from knowing others, was disgusted with his mother. He drew away from her, gradually, and became distant, like a shadow to the three of them. He hunted himself, slept on his own, never cast a second glance at his mother at all. He blamed her for what had happened, and he wanted to meet his father. He blamed her for what she had done. And he didn't blame her former mate. He agreed with him. And had he not been but a cub, he would have run off too.
Cade, on the other hand, was never told the truth. He believed his mother right, and was ever more loving to her. He blamed his father for walking out and abandoning her and the twins. He did not understand why his father had left for no reason - to him, he had left without warning.
As the twins grew up, they drifted apart.

History: After his father ran off and his mother told him the truth about his heritage, Jax became spiteful and harsh. His reaction to his father abandoning the family and the truth about his mother was almost immediate. He was often in trouble, befriending 'bad' lions and learning bad habits. He became what many call a 'bad boy,' always getting into trouble and with a devil-may-give-a-damn-for-what-happens-to-other-lions attitude toward almost anything. As he grew older, he drifted farther and farther away from his mother and his halfbrother twin, wandering about for the most part of his cub- and teen-hood.
Personality: Jax's life is all about having fun. He doesn't commit himself to anything he does, but rather, does a lousy job in everything he does. He naughty, and likes it. He thinks life's all about the fun, and he doesn't give a damn how he gets to have fun. He's easily influenced into doing bad things, and while his ability to differ good from bad is still sharp as a tack, his will to do anything about it has faded to nothing. He knows the hardships of life, and he knows how to deal. He takes things and he turns them into fun.

Cade: Ah, the little prude of an excuse for a lion - especially the lion to be Jax's 'twin brother.' To Jax, Cade is scum. Anyone siding with his mother is no lion he likes. The you-should-take-life-seriously Cade gets on Jax's nerves, and despite family relations, Jax hopes there will never be another day where he will turn around to see this dappled gray felon.
Brooke: Oh, jesus, this little *beep* of a lioness! She's still young, but she's as spunky and annoying as anything. She steps on people's tails and grabs them as if they were mere dead animals. This lion's MEAN!
Areli: Already like a new mom to Jax, especially in the first part of his stay at SS. She's the first lion he met in SS that didn't yell at him first thing. Oh, good luck to this lioness who's taken little Jax on!
Aygra: Another little cub to play with
Revyn: Is the big black lion REALLY Revyn's MOMMA?! o.o;

Rellick: This big red king scares Jax a little. The mere mention of Rellick yelling at him is enough to shut him up until he knows Rellick isn't around.

History: After his father left, Cade became very confused. He loved his mother, and he could not figure out why his father had left. He stuck by her, long after Jax left, and became the 'dad'. He looked after his mother and himself, forgetting his thirst for knowledge, becoming a tough young lion. He took everything upon himself, and for a while it seemed as if everything would be okay. Then one day, he woke up to find his mother gone. He looked everywhere, and when he finally found her, she had been crying, and she'd told him to leave her. He was horrified, but he knew his mother was right. It was not natural for him to have stuck by her for so long, taking care of them both. So Cade left his mother, with whom he was deeply attached. He was wounded by her driving him away, and grew solitary, wandering alone, making friends and learning all he could. He would sometimes stay with a friend's pride for a few seasons before moving on again to learn.
Personality: Ever since he had been born, Cade had loved to learn. The thing he loved to do most when his father had still lived with them was to go with one of his parents each morning to learn about life. After his mother drove him away, he dedicated his life to learning, often drawing into himself so much that he would forget what it was like to be in the company of other lions. His travels and learning has made him a wise and kind lion, often helping others out. However, in his wisdom, he can be ignorant in the ways of others. He does not know how to handle others very well, having spent so much of his life buried in his studies.

Jax: This lion's life is so much about party, he spends so much time and effort into having fun, but it often seems as if he isn't having any. He's harsh and spiteful to Cade and his mother, and he lived as if he weren't a part of them. However, he is still Cade's brother, and despite the differences, Cade loves him like a brother.

History: Coffe had grown up in what had used to be a tribe territory, although the humans had left long before. The smell that encased the land, however, was always thick with woodsmoke, dogs, people. The smell of woodsmoke, Coffe soon learned, seemed to have a great calming effect on her, and the woodsmoke controlled her once-fiery temper, turning her into the easy-going lion she now is. Because she spent all of her babyhood in the abandoned tribe camp, all the new scents in the world that she had barely come to grasp hit her hard when she decided to leave her parents, and she was especially sensitive to the smells.
She found a collar with dog tags one morning, and slipped it on by accident. The jangling, she found, was quite entertaining, and she never quite bothered to try to remove it.
She was also teased since birth about her strange, fluffy sickle tail, carried up and over her back like that of a Shiba Inu dog.
Personality: Calm, and level-headed, Coffe rarely ever gets angry. She swallows retorts, and harsh words with nothing but a strange smile, and a somewhat eerie glint to her eyes. She is wise, and knows enough to never regret her own decisions, and to trust her instincts to their fullest. She is not at all boring, however, and her greatest hobby is to run and play all day, without a care in the world. She loves playing little games with other lions. She also has quite a quick wit, which she rarely ever puts into play. She prefers to zone out whenever she is picked on about the collar and jangly tags hanging from around her neck, and her ability to ignore things she does not wish to hear has been maxed up. Her sense of loyalty is strong, and she treasures her friends far beyond anything else, although it is all too easy to distract her. She is a natural at hunting, too, keenly picking up scents from far off and following them for long stretches of time. She has a strong sense of leadership, although she prefers sometimes to follow rather than to lead.
However, the teasing she received as a cub and teen has driven into her an almost savage sense of warfare and darkness. As it is, she has grown up alone and has instilled within herself a rather masculine air, strong and fearless and perfectly trim, ready to fight at all times.

History: Shey's parents could very well be the same ones as Brooke's. Her mother had a litter of three cubs, two of which were stillborn. Although she had little motivation left to raise the cub, she did anyway, and Shey found herself in good paws for a while. Then one day, her mother came home from a hunt with the carcass of a zebra in her jaws. One of its hind legs had been snapped clean off, obviously by the lioness's teeth, and when she dropped the food in front of Shey, she turned and paced anxiously, shaking her head and muttering, as if waiting for someone. When she looked at Shey, the cub found a dull glare in her eyes that unnerved her.
So her mother fell ill. She had been kicked right in the head by the zebra that fatefull day, and it had knocked her funny. From then on, Shey kept a close eye on her mother. Although the lioness still seemed to hav the ability to hunt and provide the food for both, the cub would have to toddle out behind her into the danger to keep her mother from going the wrong way.
Then one day, when Shey woke up from a nap she had been taking with her mother, she found that the lioness was gone. Frantic, the cub had searched everywhere possible for her beloved mother, but it was no use. She was gone.
Personality: Shey's life was revolved so much around her mother, be it taking care of her or just spending time with her, that she knows little else. She lacks the exposure to what life really can throw you, and she doesn't seem to know it. She never wants to admit she's wrong. she absolutely must be right. She thinks it, it's gotta be what's real, right? She is never willing to accept new things, concepts or ideas, and she never wants to incorporate anything other than what she already knows into her life. She means well, however, and has a good heart, albeit a reluctant and pouty one. But having to cope with so much with her mother, she has grown to think that some things need to be about her for a change, and has a strong desire to be in the spotlight and not share it with anybody else.
She hates to have to rely on anyone else. Looking after her mother taught her to be brave, independant, and strong. To her, relying on others is a weakness, and she will all too often keep all her worries to herself.
She's quite mature for a cub her age, in a few aspects. She despises the game of tag, and she's more interested in lion cubs than lionesses, although for the world she doesn't know why.

Nala: She reminds Shey of her mother - sensitive, and so kind-hearted she would put a dying creature to rest instead of watching it suffer. Shey misses this kind of lion, and she hopes she hasn't driven Nala away from being her friend because of Jax.
Brooke: This lioness is oh so strange. Thinks Shey's her sister, does she? Well, that really isn't possible, now is it? Brooke is just so paranoid and self-involved she can't spot her own mistakes
Rellick: Nice guy.
Scribble: There is no way to describe the way she feels about Scribble. She'd never believed in soul mates until the day she met Scribble.

Personality: Sombra's biggest dream is to be free. All she wants is to be able to roam the land alone, with nobody to guide or stop her. But something about the collar that was bestowed upon her by her aunt Brooke during one of her visits (to happen) seems to keep her bound to the pride into which she was born, to forever stay beside her mother. She is shy and timid, so while all she wants is to be free, she does not have anywhere near the courage to break out of her mother's well-worn orbit to find her own.
