Essurio sat at her desk, staring blankly at the book in front of her. She was usually good at finishing her homework quickly, but her brain didn't seem to be cooperating on this particular afternoon. Her face contorted into an expression of frustration and sadness, wishing she could just focus her mind on the task. Feeling something soft bump against her leg, Essurio let out a small gasp and looked down, only to see two large, golden eyes looking back at her. "Oh, Lamby," She said softly, a warm smile creeping on her face. Sighing, she pushed her chair back, knowing she wouldn't be able to do any work in the mood she was in.
The hallowed walked delicately over to her bed, hefting her familiar onto the blanket with her. Sitting cross-legged with Lamby in her lap, she began to stroke one of the rammykin's horns gently. "I missed you in class today, Lamby," She cooed. The familiar bleated softly in return, shaking its tail happily. And it was true; Essurio had bonded surprisingly fast with the familiar, hating to ever leave its side. Continuing to smile down at her closest friend, a pleasant melody started to slip from her mouth. It had no lyrics, simply composed of 'la la la' to a pleasant, somewhat-melancholy tune. She was very quiet at first, but as Essurio got taken away with the song, her voice grew louder. It could undoubtedly be heard by anyone passing by, but she was so taken with it that she hadn't even considered that.Yushika
