Kim was looking through her photos and information on the monsters she had already met, or at least caught an image of. It was time for her to add to the guide, though the weird chickens she and Rhys had found were still some of her favorites.

Hmm, yeah some of the weirdest monsters she had come across were when she was out with other people. Maybe she could find someone to go with her? She tapped her phone and brought up the phone book, then looked down. Rhys.. yes, he had worked well with her. The mopped up monsters fast.

She tapped in a message, looking it over before hitting send.

Kim had to fight laughter at the message that Rhys sent back to her, she glanced around covering her mouth with one hand. She was walking down the hall, and yes, people were used to others talking to 'themselves' (their weapon) but she was still trying not to be too weird.

She headed toward the portal room and punched in the message:

Kim was checking the various doors as Rhys arrived and turned at the sound of his voice. She waved at him, made a note on a flip pad she was holding before hooking it back onto a hoop on her pants. "Hey, glad you made it though you didn't need to rush.". She brushed her hair back and smiled. "Ah, actually I intend to pass through several of these. I need to see as many things as I can. Hopefully most will be distant observations, though we will need to face a few for resistance and battle information."

Kim was making sure all was said, she didn't want Rhys feeling like he was walking into a trap. "If things get too rough we can bail at any time."
