"What would you like to see first?" Ghanlia had brought a foreign lioness onto the soils of his lands without hesitation. The pride hadn't seen many outsiders, but that didn't mean they would lack courtesy. He thought of the dried meats and various mints he had waiting for them in his own den, let alone what the pride would have to offer publicly. He also thought of trade goods he'd have to get her something unique to the pride.

"There are the dens, traders, and a meal." He listed some options wistfully. "There are others, but I figure this would be a good place to start?" He smiled warmly and his pale eyes turned away from her long enough to stare at the direction they were headed. The paths were becoming a little more heavy with traffic now.

She thought about it for a moment, what would she like to see first. However at the mention of a meal she felt her stomach grumble in response. "I think food it is." She said with a light laugh. Typically she was stern but for some reason this male made her relax just a little. Maybe it was his eyes, or his complextion, whatever it was. She liked it.

"Have you always lived here?" She asked him curiously. She knew some joined prides and others were born there, she was curious if he'd always lived here or if he was a traveler once. And if so why would he settle? She supposed it could be asked of her as well, why stay in a pride when you could move elsewhere?

The laugh was like foreign music to his ears, even it seemed to have an accent of sorts. "Then food it shall be." He politely remarked and began to lead her in the direction of a main area to gather and dine.

His dark eyes gazed around and smiled at those they passed as they walked. There weren't many vistors to the pride and so when one arrived it was all attention on them. It seemed this was especially the case given the lioness's markings. They were peculiar to begin with and now she was traveling with a royal?

"Yes. I was born here." His answer was simple. "Were you born into your home pride?" Ghanlia internally scolded himself for not being creative enough to come up with a new question, but it was a good one.

"I was. Have you ever been outside of it before? This is my first time leaving the pride so it's been exciting to say the least." She commented wondering if he'd ever go on such an adventure in his life. "This is a very beautiful pride." She honestly couldn't imagine someone wanting to leave it. Though she found it a smidge too cold for her tastes.

She'd been used to the heat of the desert for far too long. That was probably the main reason she hadn't ever thought to leave. Some of her family had left with their mother and Huria sister so it would have been a possibility for her. "So all of your family is here with you?"

"No." The simple answer was heavy with unspoken words. Ghan hadn't, a day in his life, considered leaving his home. The world outside held his attention from time to time, but not enough to actually leave and adventure in it. His home needed him, his family did too. None of which he was about to admit to an unfamiliar individual.

"Why thank you, it is." Ghan spoke plainly now, but with a grin on his face. "We take pride in our homes." He spoke to her, but his gaze had turned towards the pride itself. "Not all of them, rumor has it I have a great many number of aunts and uncles out in the wide world. Though I haven't taken a moment to consider where they might be, or what they may be doing. I do hope they've found a place like this to call home - and I hope they are safe."

"What about your family? Do they reside with you in your home? Or have they left to find more?" Questioning her helped to tear his gaze from the pride and bring it back to her. He could only imagine that she asked about his family because her own had left her. Ghan allowed himself a moment to imagine the pride without his family. A hard thing to think of when his family was all so tied up in the royalty here.

"That's very honorable, most would die for a chance to get out of their lands. I've only left to guard those that had a purpose outside of our own." Feeling the need to explain her own actions towards the male. Having a look around she could tell that there was indeed much thought and effort put into the residence.

"That's wonderful to hear, that your family is quite large. Maybe one day you'll cross paths and you'll be able to hear stories of the lands outside of your own and perhaps what has been going on in their lives." It was likely she had family outside of the pride but she wouldn't truly consider seeking them out unless she knew they were close by. She had a duty after all.

"I believe that most of mine, aside from a select few, reside within the boarders. There are a handful that left because they didn't fit the acceptable colors that are needed to stay within our lands so I might seek them out if I come across an area they might have passed through." Answering him with a small smile. So it wasn't so much that they had left to find more, it was more that they had left because they had no choice but to.
