She'd promised the other woman soup during speed dating, and the only thing Joy wished was that she'd have the time sooner to actually make good with the offer. Given the somewhat shy impression she got from the other woman, Joy decided meeting up at the cafeteria would be best.
She came with several small microwave-safe tupperware containers, each holding a different sort of soup. Some had clear broths, others had more stew-like liquids, Joy came with variety in case Jolene was picky or had an appetite like Kai. All she needed to do was wait for the other woman to arrive.

Jolene did arrive and in swift order as soon as she knew she had been expected. "Sorry if I'm late." She greeted before being immediately distracted by the various plastic tubs. "What... what's all this?" She looked startled honestly and peered around anxiously. "Is there a party? I didn't know... I didn't bring anything."

Joy chuckled as she shook her head, "Dehins," she said then translated "I mean, no, relax, come take a seat. I just made a lot of little batches of soup."
She gestured for the other woman to sit down across her from the table. "Didn't know what sort of flavor or texture you liked sos I figured why not bring lots?"

"I'm not fussy about foods like that," she assured but still took a seat. Her eyes glossed over the huge assortment. She may have been a little overwhelmed by choice though and quickly placed her attention back on the host to see what they picked. Surely it wouldn't be too offensive to pick the same.

Joy was glad and more than a little relieved as she began to pop off some of the lids, "Good! I still made single-ish servings so if you wanted to bring some to your dorm or oh wait, do you have a refrigerator in your dorm?" she asked, remembering that not every trainee had the luxury of space or appliances.
"I think I know some people have those personal fridge-types. Maybe you can ask around about models although runic-ing those are gonna expensive." She winced at the price, recalling what she had to pay for her replacement oven.

"I do not," Jolene sounded almost surprised that was even a thing. "Do they even have electrical down stairs aside from the lights? I honestly didn't think to look. Not that I'm complainin' mind! I love my room. It's so big." No. She wasn't being sarcastic either. She eyed the containers as they were being opened hungrily. "You went all out though, I hope it wasn't on account of me."

Joy looked genuinely surprised, "You mos def lucked out if your room's big! Mine was this tiny thing, it could only fit just a bed and there was barely enough room for my stuff." What she did not mention however was her stuff comprised of a fairly large amount of shoes that she never wore for practical reasons.
"You could give it a look see, or if you like any of the soups, you can just ask me for more. I love cooking for people!" She beamed.
