The Alpacas were right where Trouble thought they'd be. In a field. Behind the field was a house. A small, near pristine house. Trouble ran her hand along the fencing as she prepared for magical visit with her sister. All she had to do was summon her.

"PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!!!!!!" She screamed. And in the process, nearly knocked her poor little brother into a surprise induced heart attack. The poor man needed to lighten up.

Pelagious clutched his chest as the tiny terror tot simply giggled. Damn children. First chance he got, he was pawning her off on whoever wanted her. His poor little heart couldn't bear the stress of raising anyone but himself.

"Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip???!!!!!"

Pū shut her eyes and for the first time in her life, prayed for own death. Between the lack of sleep, the yellow child unending hyperactivity, and the blue demon's constant arguing woth the small yellow child, she was actually beginning to believe that she required death to end her unrelenting agony.

It also didnt help that Pū had been designated to carry the stuff. Which meant her tiny frame was boggled down by a large backpack filled with ridiculousness, a small napsack full of childly things (she hadnt really cared to peak, she just assumed) and her own knife set, strapped across her chest.

As she struggled up the beaten narrow path, she prayed that this "pip" was a dragon coming to eat her. Maybe then she could get some rest.

"PIP?! WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?"

A pebble flew from the nearby bush. The small gray stone flew in the direction of Pelagious. Not at, that was important, mamma said she couldn't throw rocks AT others. There was nothing said about throwing them in the direction of, her aim might not be the best. That or the pebble really liked Pel.

Giggling followed, eyes glittering with mischief.

The game didn't last long, one green haired child jumped out from her hiding spot calling out, "Sister! I missed you!!" Running forward with her arms out, Pip went to hug the sister she hadn't seen in forever. Like forever forever!

Never far away, Alma heard her daughter's name yelled clear across the pasture. The next project was well into the planning phase, just needed Zofie and Stia to approve it. The wait drove the nymph crazy so she worked on making her bricks until it was time to work. Bricks were less consuming.

Looking up, the first worry was Pip had gotten herself into trouble, again. Only the voice wasn't one she recognized. Up in the air instantly, Alma took off in blazing speeds to check on her little angle. Seeing her helper from the waterwheel relieved her tremendously.

Pel uttereda very undadlike oath as a something caught him on the underside of his mohawk with a loud thud. Turning around with a hand to the wound, his eyes widened with fear. It was the other rotten spawn of the forest. Dear goddess, he was gonna cry. He literally dodged off the side of the road as the gigglebush apprached.

"Not today, satan!" He cried as he dove.

"Piiiiip!!!" She cried, intercepting her sister and latching on like a hermit to its shell. "Omghowareyouimissedyousomuchlookibroughtfriendsitssogoodtofinalyseeyouagain" she said all in one breath.

Pū blanched a little at the site of a coming pae. A large, very agry flying pae. Eyes wide, she decided to do what the blue dude did. She dove off the side of the road and hid in the bushes

The big one that helped with the wheel that she did NOT make fall took a funny dive with the cat thing. The act caused her to pause and tilt her head. That was a bad idea as the sudden weight of a sister knocked her flat on her tush.

There was a moment of silence as the shock of falling wore off followed by peels of laughter. Holding on to her sister tightly she giggled out "Imessedyou!" One breath between giggles followed another line, "Iamwellhowareyou? Why do you live so far!" Whining out the last part, the shear unfairness of her sister living so far was enough to make the child want to cry.

Alma landed two feet away from the girls to look around for the other two pae. The unnatural blue radiation from the shaking bush was a clue enough that he was over there, "Hello!" Her voice carried as she greeted the bush without batting an eye at it all.

Pip looked up, her eyes following up to Alma, "Mommy!" Gleefully pulled from her whine, she introduced them again, "Sister, this is my mommy, mommy this is my sister!" for emphases she held her sister tighter ready to burst with happiness.

Trouble paused hugging her sister long enough to wave at her new mom - in - law. "Hi, Mom!!!" she shouted, before waving at the two shaking bushes. "This is my dad and my Pū!!" Then she resumed hugging her sister.

Pelagious was silently praying that he remained unnoticed. But alas, it wasn't to be. He heard the shouts and the introductions, and try as he might, he couldn't keep the tears in. The gods had decided to punish him today. He was in the underworld and the unsavory part at that.

Slowly standing, he blanched a deathly pale color when he seen the flying task master from the wheel incident.

"YOU!!!!"

Pū heard everything. And unlike the blue devil, she had decided to put viewing holes in her bush. So she could see. And there were MORE. More devil's. More children. Muttering fowl curses to herself, she began to attempt to sneak away, bush and all. She was going home. She had had enough.

Sister? Oh Pip talked a lot about her sister over the time she's lived with her. That made this girl her other daughter? Just as happy she opened her arms to the little girl, "Hello there, I've heard so many good things about you. Can I have a hug?" Then brought her dad and her poo? Looking up in the direction the child was waving, a familiar figure popped up.

Eyes widening and an even bigger grin she called out, "My helper! You were fantastic before. Did you catch the building fever and want to build something else?! I have plenty of projects!" He had done so well in the past that he was instantly hired to work on other jobs around the ranch.

Having her sister back was one thing, but sharing her mommy or sharing her sister? Smile twisting a little but she just hugged her sister tighter. That was until she had a new daddy. Finally letting one arm go of her hug, she waved to the blue man calling out, "Hello blue daddy!" She was still working on her Mommy's friend, so this man had to be a second daddy.

Pel stared at the demonic builder lady like she had grown a second head. Him?! Build things?! Had she finally lost that other screw?!

"Nope. Trouble? We're going home. Collect Pū, and your things. Nope. Not staying." He mumbled, turning around to search for his Kitty companion.

His eyes grew even wider when the other little trauma causer called him daddy. He whirled on around and held up his finger to make a point but for the life of him, he couldn't get words to come out. So he merely standing there, flapping his lips like a fish outta water, eyes bugged out, staring at the demonic duo of nightmarish terrors.

Pip giggled and turned toward Alma. "So what you got to eat around here? Daddy didn't pack enough snacks and I'm starved!" She exclaimed in feigned childlike innocence with a few smacks to her belly.

Pū was still trying to sneak away. She was making it too. Slowly but surely. A moving bush.

Alma just laughed, bending her arms at the elbow and making fists towards her head to emphasize her biceps. Building with stone all day did wonders for the physic. "You did great before! We'll get you here in no time!" Eyes closed as she cheesed hard at her daughter's word choice. Chal was her special forever, Pip seemed to understand that and worked hard to bond with Chal. That she distinguished Pel as a different daddy just made her proud.

Side effect of that pride was missing Pel's reaction.

Her other daughter asked about food brining her eyes wide open. "You came here without enough food?!" Horror in her voice ringing clear as a bell. "Well we can't have that. Ms. Zofie just made bread, we have a few sweet things for amazing little girls and a good lunch just waiting!" Walking towards the house she paused and waved through, "Come on girls lets eat, blue daddy too and pu can come!" Zofie loved guests it would be no problem to feed them. Couldn't have any of her kids going hungry could she?

Pip saw the plan formulating, looking to her sister with a wink, "Go on I have this!" Taking off with as much power as her little wings could manage, the green child approached Pel and flew up enough to put one little hand around his finger, "Come on, Blue Daddy! Ms. Zofie makes yummies!" There was a little tug and wide eyes just staring at him as if to look into his soul. Thankfully for the little girl she couldn't actually see that far. Somethings are not meant to be seen by innocent eyes.

Calling out she added, "You too bush! Come eat!" Oh she saw, she saw.

Pel simply could not compute. The building demon and the tiny terror tots were just to much. If it had been any other world, he would have smoke coming out his ears.

Following blindly, he only nodded at the purple twins words and trudged behind the floating fiend, still flapping his lips like a fish.

Pū was gonna make it. She was gonna make it!! Wait. Was the lady talking about food?! It had been days since she had much more than forest rats to eat. Bread?! Fresh out of the oven? Pū leapt out the bush and raced to follow the yellow mini-ogre and the flying builder. "®£¶π@+#&!!!"

Foooooooooood!!!!

Trouble giggled when Pip and Alma both welcomed them and helped her punish her daddy. The poor old man didn't know what was good for him. Would do him good, socializing and not stalking.

Zipping ahead, she came level with Alma and reached out to grab her hand. "Daddy likes to work. He said he had a blast last time. He was just in shock over being asked to work again." she said with a faux innocent nod. "He's like that, Mommy. You have to sneak it up on him."

Then she smiled to herself. Yes. She could probably get two days of visit in this way. She was rather proud. But first things first.

"Who's Ms. Zofie?"
PostPosted: Thu Mar 08, 2018 3:47 pm

Pip hugged Pel's hand and gave it a pat as she happily lead him right into the house pleased as peaches.

Alma held the little girl's hand and nodded along to everything she said, "How could he not? That wheel project was amazing! Oh and he did such a great job! You girls did wonderful getting stones!" It had been a complicated project dealing with falling water and the heavy wheel. Most of the villagers didn't seem interested in helping to get it back up. However, Pel was the man of the hour along with Chal and the other traders. True example of what happens when everyone works together!

Calling behind her she said, "Don't worry, blue daddy I have plenty to keep you having fun!" Giving a whoop she threw her other fist in to the air beaming. With her other daughter's question, she answered, "Ms. Zofie runs the Ranch with her love, Mr. Stia. Ms. Zofie loves to cook and entertain. She'll adore you, I do!" It didn't matter one wit that she'd really just met the girl formally, already loved her.

Pip yelled out towards the house, "Ms. Zofie! My sister and Blue daddy came to visit!" From the home, the window and door opened, smells of baked breads and cookies wafted out welcoming the new 'family'.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~LATER THAT NIGHT~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pel crept along the hallway quietly as possible. He had his bag tossed over his shoulder, had waved goodbye to his two little criminal delinquents, and was currently attempting to leave. Well, sneak out.
His kiddos were smart. They could find their own way home. If not, they would be welcome here. Nice critters they could ride.
He nodded to himself.
This was self preservation. He wasn't gonna make it. They had him repairing a fence. A FENCE. His hands were made for silk and fleece. Not wood and nails!! His palms were blistered. BLISTERED!! His fingers had cuts on em and bruises where he accidently missed the nail. And hit his own delicate fingers instead. He held back a whimper as he thought about us poor hands.
Now. If only he could find his way out of this maze of a house without knocking stuff over. He had hit a table and a vase full of flowers so far and he was pretty are he was lost in the living room. At least, if the soft plushy things he kept hitting were any clue.
Man, how he wished he had better night vision. Or a flashlight. Oh wait! He did carry a flashlight. He grabbed in his bag and messed around until he pulled one out.
"AH HA!" He shouted, before realizing how stupid that was as his voice echoed. Looking around, he clicked it on and realized he was indeed in the living room.
So he quietly shuffled over to the sink and began to have a looksie.
"Has to be a pipe somewhere, right?" He muttered to himself.
Home with no wooden floors, just soft fiber rugs to spare little feet did wonders on hiding sounds. Small shuffling here or there but not so much as a whisper or giggle. That was until she was right next to Pel. Plotting and telling stories in the middle of the night did wonders. Taking as quite a deep breath as she could, Pip asked, "Whatcha doing, Blue Daddy?" Her tone far higher then it had, one hand making a show of rubbing an eye while the other hid behind her back.
Yelling naturally woke the very light sleeping Alma from her slumber. Untangling her arms from Chal, The nympth was up and zooming out of her room without more then a pause to open her door. It didn't take any time to find the two and instantly jump to the wrong conclusion, "You have dedication wanting to work so late!" Quick praise came pouring out as the red head seemed to gain more energy with each beat of her wings.
Pel was currently under the sink and oblivious to his wonderful pint sized stalker. Until she spoke.
"EEP!" -THUD- was the noise that came out of the blue pae as he squealed and raised up, only to hit his head on the edge of the sink as he went. Holding in barely repressed curses, he rubbed his head and stared at the green ogre that had caught him red headed. "Getting a migraine. Aren't you supposed to be in bed?" He asked. His shoulders sunk a little as he realized he wasn't escaping tonight. Unless.....
"I was trying to fix the pipes. Wouldn't happen... To know where any are, would you?" He whispered in a conspiratorial tone. Turning back to slide under the sink again, he pointed at the area where pipes were supposed to be.
"'Cause there is none, umm..."
He opened his mouth to speak again, when the flying abomination decided to make it's presence known, cause Pel to have another minor heart attack as he squeaked and hit his head on the sink AGAIN. This time the front of his head was the target of his startle reflex since he attempted to sit up under the sink.
Dear Goddess of love and patience, what in the name of all that was holy was with these pae? Didn't they ever sleep?!
Hearing te word 'work', he panicked full force now. Dear Goddess, she was gonna have him mending fences in the dark!!!
Turning to glare at the flying task master, he quickly denied that notion.
"NO. I was just....umm.....trying to see if you're piping was up to standards. Gotta have pipes." He declared, giving a fake laugh and hoping they bought it.
Trouble, rather like Alma in that she was a very light sleeper, rolled out of bed at the sound of a thud coming from the kitchen area.
Sneaking around a very hard snoring cat, (who seemed to have a few pieces of bread in the floor mat with her and was currently in a food coma) she squeezed thru the door and snuck into the kitchen area too.
"Daddy? Why are you having a party with me?" She asked, her face erupting into the cutest pout ever .
Pelagious jumped again at the sudden appearance of his own tiny terror tot. His head just barely missing the edge of the sink this time. 'Why couldn't pae sleep?!' He thought to himself.
Panic renewing, he quickly turned to the yellow fairy and shook his head. Last thing he needed was a 2 am party. "I wasn't. I swear. I was.....trying to see ......if they had .....pipes?" He managed to squeak out. 'Pothos help me out of this mess' he prayed.
Giggling for several moments, Pip smiled happily declaring, "Blue Daddy is funny!" Hitting his head like that, clearly it was meant to happen. Next question brought an answer with an exaggerated yawn rubbing her eye, "I need Blue Daddy to tell me another story." As it was, she'd be dreaming of grapes for ages more.
Midway through one more yawn he caught her mid motion. An owlish stare answered his question before her words were prepared. Bringing her hand up to her lips, one finger setting against the bottom lip as her head tilted to the side. "What are pipes?" Just what was Blue Daddy looking for?
Alma's turn followed a perfect imitation of her daughter, hand on lips and head tilted the same way. Only thing missing for the picture were those two pigtails swaying with the motion, her short bob didn't give the same impression. "Pipes? Oh those things they have in the City? We don't have them here." Not in the same way as the city in any case.
Curiosiy morphed into excitement as she asked, "Is that what you were working on, trying to bring pipes to the house while we were asleep? Oh thats sweet of you!" He did want to work that late at night and was just trying to make it a secret. Really, that was kind of him but he didn't have to!
Both of her girls were awake now, so both earned a soft pat on the head, act of affection sparing them being picked up and hugs.
Pip took her place at her sister's side, one hand on her sister's shoulder while her expression morphed into a perfect replica of the pouting face. "There is no party without my sister." Guilt trip this is your captain Pip speaking, hope you are enjoying your trip with no destination.
Pel started crying. There was no escape. Never. He stared at Alma. Then Pip and Trouble. The pipeless sink. And he wailed like a banshee. "How could they not have pipes?! Now it will never eeeeennnnddddd. Even my little hut has piiiiiiiiiiipes. Granted, I laid them down myself and I figured out the plumbing, but at least I had piiiiiiiiiipes! Now all I'll do is wooooooork!!!"
Trouble's pout quickly turned to panic as Pel finally had his moment of breakdown. They were gonna make them leave cause her lil brother couldn't handle a lil work. Rushing to Pelagious, she patted him on the shoulder.
"There, there. I'm sure if you asked, they could provide some pipes? It's not a party, but it's.....a step in the right direction?! Who doesn't want a house with indoor plumbing?" She offered, turning to Alma.
"Maybe we could get Daddy some pipes? He can make things go." She gave Alma the childish pout, but it was mixed with curiosity. She hadn't planned this, but it will work.
