Physical Description: N'veen is average height with dark red hair and blue eyes.
Personality: N'veen is loyal to his family and the people he calls friends. It doesn't matter if they're right or wrong, publicly he will always be on their side. Privately he may ask them what in the name of the First Egg got into them. He is a fierce fighter and loves to train, both with and without his dragon. He likes to keep fit and not just because the ladies (and gents) like a fit body. He's eager to prove himself and his dragon against Thread but he isn't interested in responsibility, only notoriety as being the best. And he is very confident that he's the best, at anything and everything he puts his mind to. He's flirtatious and knows he's worth the time.
On the other hand, N'veen is irresponsible. He'd rather party and have fun than do anything remotely responsible. The exception to this is fighting Thread, though he's been known to miss a practice run or two. He's brash and speaks his mind. This has gotten him into trouble before and is likely to do it again. He is quick to temper and brawling is his favorite way to handle disputes. Now that he's back at Western, he may calm down with his cousin's influence.

History: Naveen grew up alongside his cousin Navarian at the weaver crafthall, though he was always a little wilder than his cousin. His parents were good at what they did and never hurt for marks though some times were thinner than others. They had a fairly good relationship with their son, though they worried about him ever settling down and being less wild. Naveen got into everything and was almost always in trouble until he learned how to talk and charm his way out of it. Though they never really talked about it, Naveen knew his cousin wasn't always happy at home so he would always try to pull Navarian out to cheer him up. They were really more like brothers than cousins and Naveen didn't know what he'd do without Navarian at his side.
When he wasn't with his cousin, Naveen was as far from the crafthall as possible. He didn't have the patience or the skill to be any kind of weaver ad he dreamed of becoming a dragon rider. He wanted the respect they were afforded and he wanted Harpers to sing about him and his adventures when he was older. He wanted to be known all over Pern! Instead, he helped out around the hall and made a few marks doing manual labor. It sucked and he hated it, but it was work and gave him something to spend during Gathers.
When Navarian was searched instead, Naveen was hurt and jealous. Outwardly, he congratulated his cousin and wished him the best but inside he wanted to know why he hadn't been searched too. Wasn't he good enough? And then a little over a Turn later, another Searchrider came and it was Naveen's turn to go. His parents were sad to see him go but hoped that the work would help him mature. He was glad to be reunited with his cousin, and spent his time toeing the line as a Candidate. He never quite got into trouble, but adults tended to keep their eye on him to make sure. He still found ways to have a little fun and learn everything he needed at the same time.
At his second Hatching he watched his cousin Impress a brown and was happy for him though again, he felt that spark of jealousy. He cheered for N'var and watched him walk off the sands with his dragonet. He was distracted for a while then, thinking that he would have to wait for his dragon, and was smacked in the gut with a dark brown head. I've been calling you, mine, weren't you listening? Zheth was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his life and he knew when he looked into those rainbow eyes that he would spend the rest of his life making sure his dragon knew that.
After they graduated, N'veen took off from the Weyr. He wanted to see what else was out there and how better to do that than on the back of a dragon? He wrote his cousin and his parents at least once every four sevendays until Thread fell. As much as he didn't want to, as much as he'd rather stay away from the Weyr and continue partying, N'veen and Zheth felt a responsibility to their home. Besides, N'var needed someone to look after him, right?

Physical Description: An average sized brown, Zheth has thick, muscled legs and neck and strong wings. He's a dark shade with misty lighter colors in places.
Personality: Zheth is a laid back, relaxed kind of dragon. He likes to go with the flow and just have fun. Zheth has mounds of patience when it comes to others. He doesn't mind explaining things two or three times, and he adores answering question after question from the little ones. He's always willing to try new things, especially if they sound like a good time! New experiences are a curiosity he will never tire of. He's dedicated to his rider and their Weyr, and works hard to stay in fighting shape for Thread. He doesn't want to let anyone down, especially N'veen (though his rider assures him he could never let him down).
At times he can be easily distracted from whatever he's doing or talking about, especially if he spots something shiny. When talking, he tends to go off on tangents as he thinks of things, his mind working a mile a minute. Though his mind races, his body tends to laze. He likes to be comfortable and will lay in the sun as long as N'veen allows him to (which isn't often, sadly). He likes to collect things. Pretty, shiny, interesting things. To the point where N'veen had a special bag made for him to hang around his foreleg so that he could deposit his trinkets when he found them. At home he's got piles of things, separated by what they are. N'veen plans to make him some kind of shelf or bowls or something so he won't trip over them when he goes into Zheth's weyr.
