Tumblr: Marnie's an avid blogger with her array of multi-blogs she hits all of the categories; fandom-filled blog, fashion blog, food blog, and her personal one in which she connects with other tumblr witches. She thinks it's a great way to get a taste of the world without ever having to look up from her phone if she doesn't want to. You can always tell when she's on a Tumblr kick because her feed is flooded and she never tags anything.
Modern Witchcraft: Everyone's got something they believe in and Marnie happens to believe in magic. She also believes that magic is about intent, imagination, and belief so the technicalities are...eeeeeh. Her house is filled with herbs, candles, crystals, various plants and more. She's not an active practitioner, but she falls back on it when convenient.
Virtues:
Engaging: When she sees something she likes or finds interesting, Marnie zones right in on and it and makes a beeline for it. That means she's constantly engaging others in conversation or activities and once her attention is on you or a subject, she's committed.
Inventive: Improvising is a gift that Marnie was born with. If she doesn't have the specific tools to complete a spell or a task or whatever that's okay! She's perfectly capable of making do with that she's got around her and figuring out a solution in a pinch.
Flaws:
Inappropriate: It's not what you think. Marnie's responses to things that are considered high stress are often...inappropriate. She hardly reacts in ways that are considered socially appropriate. Someone in your family just died? Marnie's probably laughing about it until she realizes that's the wrong response and then she'll awkwardly offer to fix it, usually with magic.
Lazy: Marnie only puts in as much effort as she has to with most things. If she can scrape by with the bare minimum she's absolutely going to do it. The less effort required, the better.
