Two years. That was roughly how long it took for the Sun to reach Intermediate. Sure there were others who rose quickly through the ranks but that didn't bother Kyle one bit at all. So long as Matt was with him and no one had any issues with his performance and progress, he was content doing things his way and in his own time even if everyone else zipped past him to move onto greater things.
Switching his Trainee coat for the Intermediate one that was issued to him, Kyle was all smiles when he stepped into Matt's room to show the older hunter his new coat. "What do you think? Does it make you giddy and lightheaded because my alluring charm has just gone up by tenfold or something as a result of this?" He asked gleefully.
