Quote:
Being bitten by a giant spider is uncomfortable enough, but worse than the sharp pain you feel on impact are the linger effects of the bite. Being bitten can cause nausea, dizziness, fatigue and hallucinations. These symptoms can begin immediately after being bitten or can manifest up to a few hours after the toxins are introduced to the bloodstream. These symptoms may only last for a few hours—or up to 72 hours. You, or someone you know, has the misfortune of being bitten; no medicine seems to help this ailment, so you’re stuck weathering this one out on your own.

Stupid spiders. Stupid maze. Stupid citizens of Destiny City for not realizing that certain things shouldn't be done near Halloween. Okay so the last thought was pretty uncharitable but in her condition she wasn't feeling very charitable. After being thoroughly examined and then rushed to the hospital Rayna had to keep a tight lip on the fact that she was seeing things that were not even there. The staff at the hospital were adamant that she rest and recuperate lest she tear open the stitches they had used to close up the hole in her side where a nasty spider had bitten her and the wound in her shoulder. The doctor who had tended to that wound had prescribed physiotherapy as there was concern over the damage that had been done. But first she needed to heal before even thinking about PT.

Resting at home had become unbearable with her hovering parents asking if she needed anything almost every hour. What Rayna needed was some fresh air and after a large argument with her parents that foresaw a grounding in her future she grabbed her coat (and secretly her henshin pen) before exiting the house.

Finding a secluded grove saw Rayna transforming into her powered identity, Myrrha, Super Senshi of Scents. But the discovery upon transforming was almost enough to seemingly break her spirit. Dizziness and nausea were still plaguing her and as she watched a rather blackened sun dip below the horizon, it looked like the hallucinations were still present too. Groaning softly Myrrha pushed off the stump she had found and after swaying back a forth a few times attempted to find a place where she could be free from seeing and hearing things that weren't really there. At least while powered the aching pain from her shoulder and side seemed less but perhaps that was just an illusion, a farce.

Without even realizing it Myrrha stumbled onto a city street. Dressed as she was would be enough to draw attention to herself but locked in a world of audible and visual miscues the senshi didn't even seem aware of where she really was.

After the absolute mess at the Bootanical Gardens event, Jada's first action had been to find Giulia and hug her until the little girl had wheezed and practically begged her to let go. But what was she supposed to do? Jada had let the six year old out of her sight for one brief moment, and next thing she knew the gardens were being attacked by giant spiders (and lord above she should have expected it) and the power was out and everyone was screaming and shouting and all Jada could think about was how would she explain this to anyone, later? Probably the same way she had explained it to the police- clearly, the punch had attracted car-sized spiders, ocifer, the gardens really needed better pest control! Yeah, that was going to go over like a lead balloon if she tried to explain it to anyone but the foolish paparazzi and the hard-nosed cops trying not to roll their eyes. Though, technically, it wasn't a lie by any means. But they were going to make excuses for whatever happened anyways, so why bother? She might as well have some fun with the truth and let them do their thing.

The next day Giulia had been ill, rashy and vomiting, exhausted. Feverish and just generally displeased with everything that life had to offer. Luckily the symptoms had been over and done with fairly quickly, though how and when she had been bitten, Giulia couldn't say for sure. She thought she had dodged the teeth, but no one had known. The whole day had been holed up in the house, and- and finally, Jada couldn't do it anymore. She needed to get out, to stretch her legs, to walk off the remaining vestiges of worry and anxiety, and maybe hunt down a bug and punch it in the face until it made up for the way Giulia's poor, puffy, tear-streaked face looked. Jada hated it! So she had grabbed her coat and her henshin pen, and left Giulia to Aidan and Amelie's capable hands. There had to be something that she could do that didn't involve sitting and twitching and stuffing tea and crackers down the throat of her child. She'd take anything at this point, really- anything at all.

As she was walking, she found that anything she could do, and it took the form of someone that Jada hadn't seen in a while, and never before when she wasn't henshined. Was that Myrrha? What was she doing, stumbling down the street like that? Was she drunk? Injured? Whatever it was, she was going to attract some attention if someone else came along and saw her like that. It wasn't a good idea to just leave her here, confused... So she moved closer, waving her hand to try and get the other woman's attention. “Hi!” she said, cheerfully, and tried to move in the other woman's path, concern written across her face. “Hi, you don't look so good. My name's Jada. Do you remember me?” Would Myrrha remember that night on Scylla, when they had swapped names? Would she be able to connect the well-kept woman in front of her to Scylla?

At first Myrrha wasn't sure where she was. There had been a black sun going down over the horizon that lead to a sky full of flashing pinpoints of light that actually hurt her eyes. Eventually it got to be too much for her when the light flashes were accompanied by the sound of nails on a chalkboard which played havoc on her ears and even raising her hands to block out the sound did nothing. Perhaps it was by chance that she was able to break out of that overly stimulating aural and visual treat. Now it looked relatively normal: the sky was a dusk-time wash of colors, leaves on the trees were a funny shade of red, not autumnal colors but like blood red. The most alarming thing though was the figure that came dashing up to stand right in front of her.

Myrrha startled at the sight of the entity that stood in front of her. The embodiment of pure darkness. Light was being absorbed into the figure and even as "Jada" spoke to her all Myrrha heard was an unpleasant wailing sound. Narrowing her eyes she saw this "thing" as the enemy and inhaled deeply before doing what any good senshi should do ... rid the city of such a unnatural being.

Not even sure if the being had a sense of smell Myrrha pointed at the area in which it stood and suddenly called out the most basic of her attacks.

"Myrrha's Unusual Odor!"

It was her profound hope that her attack would hopefully drive the being away.

Quote:

Sailor Scout Attack: Myrrha's Unusual Odor
Myrrha concentrates her energy and calls out her attack. She points to a single enemy and sends the energy in their direction. If the energy hits the target they will find that their sense of smell has been dramatically increased. They could be overwhelmed by scents found around them, be it good or bad. This attack duration would last 20 seconds. Generally the target has to be within a six-foot radius to Myrrha when she calls her attack. Any target outside this radius will either escape the attack entirely or only be partially affected.

Locked in the hallucination as she is I don't know if Myrrha would still see Jada as a threat so I'm not sure if the magic would actually work on her but there'd be the realization that Myrrha is definitely not alright.

Something was wrong, and Scylla's brow furrowed with concern as the other senshi came to a stop in front of her. There was something almost vacant in her expression, and Jada reached down into her pocket, where she typically kept her henshin pen, treating it with the same demi-callousness as if it were a regular ballpoint inkpen. She'd never gotten into the habit of purses, though, and carrying it in her sock wasn't very easy to access if she was trying to be sneaky. But something in the vacancy there, in Myrrha's usually-intelligent face was aalarming, and given recent events...

It seemed that gripping the pen was going to be for the best. Eyes narrowed blearily in her direction, and Jada had almost no time to do much of anything. The attack hit her square on, and thank all that was holy that she wasn't powered up when it did. The sensation was too much, as it seemed like her nostrils flared to life. She could smell the swampy area near them, the rich scent of her perfume of choice, the stinging scent of something not unlike onion, or garlic; so many scents that she could gardly identify. Her eyes teared up, ger gag reflex kicking in, and she staggered. "Holy s**t, Myrrha-" she hissed. And she let the name spill from her lips in a choke, "Rayna, it's me. Scylla."

She couldn't see anyone around, or smell them, presumably. The stink of car oil, and emissions and pollution, and she choked again, coughing hard, lifting her hand to her nose. Oh dear god, she'd never be able to use scented hand sanitizer again. "Seriously, come on." her hand gripped her pen, and she called her power to hand, Jada replaced with Scylla in an instant. But not quite the Scylla Myrrha might remember. Her tiara was gone, a symbol glowing across her forehead. Her eight-pronged bow had some small details, embroidery that wasn't there before. But it was close enough that apart from the glow, she should be recognizable. Or so Scylla hoped.

Was it the use of her civilian name that might have broken through her hallucination? Or was it when Jada powered up into Scylla that the shadowy being suddenly transformed into one of glorious starlight? Or was it that faint jolt of recognition of an intriguing energy signature that finally saw Myrrha regaining enough sense of self to recognize the real danger was being out in the middle of the road while she was transformed. Anyone could have noticed her. Being of a higher power rank now she was sure that the signature she was "broadcasting" was stronger than if she was still just a basic senshi. The strange, vacant, look in her eyes cleared for but a moment and she gave her head a curious tilt to peer at the senshi standing in front of her. Scylla?

Had Scylla been here the entire time? Where did that mysterious shadow figure run off to, and for that matter where was the other one, the one that was made of stardust. Peering around Scylla's frame the younger senshi's brows furrowed in thought. Finally it was a quiet, unsure, voice that piped up as Myrrha straightened and glanced to the Kraken senshi, "Where am I Scylla? Why are you here?"

It was almost as her entire evening had been a blur. She could remember powering up but from then on her journey had been a massive blank. Had it been another round of hallucinations? The thought that even after twenty-four hours she wasn't clear of them was disheartening. She could live with the rest of the symptoms that had started after being bitten by one of those spiders but these hallucinations were now placing her in possible harms way. That was something that was not of the good. Not at all. Her gaze took in the street beyond and then back to her friend. Something was different about Scylla and yet it seemed vaguely familiar to Myrrha. It had to do with her power signature.

It took a few moments for the other woman to recognize her, just enough time for the senshi of the kraken to wheeze off the last of the attack that had hit her. Lord amighty, she didn't want to be on the receiving end of one of those closer to anything stinkier than this. Talk about sensory overload! She took the moments that she had with cleared nose to blink at the other senshi, taking in some of the changes that had occurred since last they met. Myrrha was stronger, it seemed, a growth which pleased Scylla to see.

Her confusion was concerning, and Scylla reached out with a slim arm, offering it to her as she seemed to be a bit discombobulated. "Looks like you went for a walk," she told the younger woman with as reassuring a smile as she could summon; "I was out for one myself. Are you feeling alright?" Clearly not, since she'd been attacked, and the senshi gave a small cough. "Come sit with me over here." it was only half a question and half a kidnapping, as Jada reached out with slim hand to grip at Myrrha, attempting to guide her away from the visible edge of the road, and towards the wood.

Probably not the safest, but she felt much more confident about fighting giant spiders and swamp monsters with her magic at hand. "Are you okay, Myrrha? You seemed a bit..." her lips pursed, considering. "Off." You attacked me was an accusation that went unspoken for now, for later it could serve as explanation if asked. "Sit with me. Relax."

Still blinking away the vestiges of the things that she had seen Myrrha attempted to even out her breathing as at one point the sense of solid ground beneath her feet almost disappeared. Closing her eyes against the sensation helped to ground her but the hand that was gently gripping her arm was probably the most helpful. Slowly the sensation faded and then vanished to which Myrrha was grateful for. Fatigue set in and almost docilely she let herself be towed off the street to where Scylla indicated she should sit. At the sound of a gentle voice talking to her Rayna glanced to her friend. It wasn't an illusion, that was good. Listening to the words the teen seemed to clue in that more conversation had slipped by and with a little bit of difficulty she remembered what Jada had said at the beginning.

Rayna gave a soft sigh before wincing as she tried to shift positions. The wounds from the spider were still tender. Her mind tried to process the evening and biting her lip she tried to piece together her evening. "I assume you heard what happened at the Botanical Gardens, with the spiders," Rayna hoped that it was common knowledge with her side at least about the events that had transpired. Her voice went a little softer, "I was there. I saw them: up close and personal. It's not something I'm ever going to forget. I was alone in the maze and was set upon by one the spiders. It really got the jump on me. Before I knew it the thing had me pinned to the ground."

There was a sound like a choked off sob as Rayna remembered with clear intensity how helpless she'd been at that moment. Her voice cracked a little as her tale continued. "I was thinking at that point I could maybe still free myself and get away but then it decided I looked like prey as it managed to sink its fangs into me. Things were a little hazy after that but some people I guess heard me as they came to my aid. They drove the spider off and got me out of the maze."

Rayna stared at the ground with interest as something wriggled by her feet. The girl looked away before wrapping up her tale, "I was at the hospital but discharged and tonight had to get away from my hovering parents. After that I don't really remember much. I just wish the world would stop spinning though."

Closing her eyes against the dizziness Myrrha would have toppled over had she not placed her hand down at her side to ground herself. Her voice was strained now, "worst thing is, I powered up and I still feel like I've been chewed up and spit out by something larger than me."

Something was terribly wrong with Rayna. As the other woman leaned against Scylla, it was obvious- affection was one thing, but this fatigue was clear. It seemed for a few seconds that she would begin shaking in the next moment, and Jada's brow furrowed, lips pursing in concern. "I was there at the gardens," she said in response to the other's explanation, "I saw that it was a madhouse. I was so busy looking for my ward that I hardly noticed anyone else." Concern thinned her lips, and small, delicate hands guided the senshi of scents down towards the ground, so that she could perhaps try and relax, try to get back some energy.

Which... energy. Perhaps there was something that she could try and do for her companion. She'd been feeling an abundance of it, lately, and siphoning it to Caedus' crystal while she slept only did so much. "I am glad that someone came to your defense," Jada said after a moment, meaning it, "I'm sorry I didn't see you. I am afraid when- my ward, she's my little sister, and when she's in danger... you know how it is to worry about family, I'm sure." What if she didn't? What if Rayna was an orphaned only child? Bless.

"I have something I'd like to try, to help you maybe? I... haven't, before, so I don't know if it will work, but I hope so." she bit her lip, dropping to a sit next to Myrrha. "Trust me?"

It was getting harder to concentrate on what Scylla was saying to her. Her hands came up to rub at her temples before sinking back into her lap. There had been something earlier that Myrrha had picked up on, something that was now different about her friend. Attempting to name what the difference was proving difficult. The word that Rayna was looking for was stuck on the tip of her tongue. It had something to do with the subtle glowing marks and energy signature. She had seen it before, hadn't she? Just after she had been awoken? A late night meeting in a park, stumbling across another senshi. Almost a whisper Myrrha whispered the comparison that came to mind, "You feel like Maia,' if that was at all possible. There were massive similarities. However the senshi of scents had no time to think upon that anymore.

At Scylla's retelling of her own time at the Gardens Myrrha began hearing the smallest amount of a skittering noise. Almost absently did she reply to Jada's comment about family, "keeping my mom and dad in the dark. It's not safe for them to know," and she flapped a hand in response to the question asked of her, "I trust you."

It was about this time that Myrrha noticed what was behind the noises she was hearing. Tiny black spiders, way smaller than those at the gardens had begun to climb all over Scylla's body. Her eyes grew wider before she jumped up. Did Scylla not see them? Did she not mind? Was she really not Scylla? All the tiny arachnids turned as one and waved their legs at Myrrha mockingly, taunting her to do something about their presence. Knowing that spiders did not smell meant that only force would reveal her answers. Acting on autopilot Myrrha's hands came up as if to launch another round of her magic but it was going to be a ruse. Even as she began to pretend calling her powers forth her right arm was coming up to deliver a strong blow to Scylla's upper body in an attempt to squash the little monstrosities or at least figure out if they'd found a new way to torment her. Knowing the attack was unexpected Myrrha just hoped that the little buggers would be squished to smithereens and finally grant her some peace. It was the perhaps the last straw when she glanced back up with clearer eyes and she sank to her knees, ashamed of her actions. There were no spiders, none whatsoever. Only Scylla ... whom she had just struck out at. What was happening? What was truly real? Would Scylla retaliate? Myrrha's whole body tensed up as if expecting a blow. Maybe at least she'd find a little bit of sanity.

A small litany of two words began to echo in the stillness, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

Infinities
I figure this will probably be Myrrha's last real hallucination. Considering all that's happened, all she's done, she's starting to think that she's snapped.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 04, 2017 1:13 pm

Even as they spoke, even as Scylla was trying to help the girl sit comfortably beneath the branches of a tree, she could see whatever fever had come upon her friend earlier starting to return, and the girl lifted her hands, rubbing at her temples. "I feel like Maia?" she repeated, and then reflected on the last time- ah, yes. Now she remembered. "I'll.... I don't have a good explanation for why, actually." there had to be something more she could do, and she pressed her fingers to Myrrha's forehead, checking cautiously for a fever. Hmm, perhaps a bit high, but with the explanation of the spiders, she wasn't surprised. People who got bitten by normal spiders sometimes had a hard time fighting off the infection.

"I never told my parents either, or any of my siblings. I never even told my best friends. The only people who knew were the people who were in the war."

And then Myrrha punched her in the chest.

Scylla wheezed, stunned, coughing out. That had hurt a lot more than it had any right to, and instinct had her pulling her most familiar weapon to bear, the ground shaking around them as a tentacle rose from- wherever they hid, when she wasn't using them. It went to push between the two women- not an assault, but a shield to keep Myrrha from hitting Scylla again.

But Myrrha was sinking to her knees, and the protection was unnecessary. Probably. Still... I'm sorry. I'm sorry. "Shhhhh now," she said, and dropped down to her knees next to Myrrha, pulling her into a hug. "I'm fine. Come here, Myrrha." Not so that it can destroy. "Let me try and help you." she'd never done this before, but as she closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around the senshi of scents, it just felt like the right thing to do. It might not help with the fevers and the hallucinations, but if it could at least help with those physical injuries... Jada would take what she could get.

The rumbling of the ground caught Myrrha's attention at first as she knelt at Scylla's feet, still trying to apologize. Her hands went to her head once more before realizing that the shaking wasn't in her head at all. It was very real and as her mind began to comprehend what might be happening she caught sight of something that looked like a tentacle rise towards her and then descend back into the ground. Lowering her hands to her side slowly the teen winced as the stitches in her side protested the movement. It was about that time that Scylla had dropped to her knees as well and before Myrrha could say anything she found herself engulfed in a hug from the older woman. Still weary from everything that had happened there was no sign of protest as she took in the experience for what it was. Scylla was offering comfort, even after everything that had just happened. Why?

Hearing what Scylla was saying snapped Myrrha from her confused thoughts. Was wanting to ask how the other could help wrong? Her gaze, while still clouded from pain and fatigue, rose from the ground to meet Scylla's own. As her eyes scanned the surrounding area she grimaced before nodding her acquiescence. Her own murmured reply was both an affirmative answer and also a plea for assistance, "please?"

Although unsure what would constitute as help now Myrrha was willing to place her trust completely in the Kraken senshi.

Infinities

The other senshi nodded, and the gesture was weak and resigned- at best. For that reason, Scylla took a moment to try and re-position them into a seated position, settling Myrrha against the tree for support. It took a bit longer, but it was better than leaving her injured friend to balance herself on her knees. In the dirt! The two women had plenty of time, after all; Scylla wasn't going anywhere for the moment, and she hadn't driven, so it wasn't like her car was just sitting there running in the street with two senshi just chilling out nearby. Plus, Myrrha needed the help, and Jada wasn't exactly sure how well thsi would work, if it did at all. Hopefully it would be more of a success than failure, but it would be hard to predict.

Purple eyes closed, and she reached out to the sweet clarion call of her homeworld, feeling the energy brimming inside her that it offered freely and pulling on it; she imagined it not unlike she imagined like a skein of yard unrolled. Tugging what she needed, and offering it to the wounded senshi of scents. It felt... odd. Not wrong, but she also wasn't sure she was doing this right at all.

The loss of energy didn't make her tired, per-say; Scylla might not have even noticed it all that much if she hadn't been looking for it. It felt more like a relief, the loss of jitters that she hadn't even known were building in her bones. Hands steadied, and she exhaled, easily. "Can you feel the energy?" she asked, her hands pressed to Myrrha's arms, "Maybe you can use it."

tefla
This won't help with the hallucinations, but might help with the shoulder! These Senshi are able to transfer their excess energy to civilian victims and wounded allies. They must maintain physical contact in order to make the transfer, and as it requires intense concentration it would be impossible to accomplish in battle. The transfer would help with mild-to-moderate energy loss but would not offer a sense of full recovery in either case. It would simply decrease recovery time by half.

At first Myrrha wasn't sure what she was expecting to happen. Under Scylla's gentle urging Myrrha found herself in a slightly reclined position with a tree at her back to keep her mostly upright. Anything was better than the position she had been in earlier and at least being seated meant that there weren't any flashbacks to the time in the maze. Her gaze began to focus with more clarity than when she had left her place earlier but she was still feeling off. Throwing the idea out of remaining vigilant Myrrha allowed herself a moment to completely relax. Although it seemed like Scylla was actively concentrating on doing something at first Myrrha wasn't sure on what was supposed to be happening. The idea of being in such close quarters wasn't bothering her but the idea of another hallucination starting meant that she had to be hyper aware, didn't it?

Feeling her breathing even out Myrrha as time passed the scents senshi almost felt herself nodding off before becoming aware of a sensation that something was happening. There was a small, yet growing, feeling that Myrrha wasn't sure she could place at first. If she had to describe it using her own words it almost felt like she was being given an energy drink without the undesirable taste. At least that is what it felt like. The idea began to cement itself that what Scylla was doing was actually giving her energy. But how was it possible? Did it have something to do with the new energy signature her friend was giving off? Closing her eyes and blocking of the need to analyze what was happening allowed the young woman to focus on the feeling of energy gently washing through her. It was alarming to realize just how much of a difference this was making. Already she could feel herself becoming more alert, more focused in thought as the fatigue that was plaguing her was being chased off and held at bay.

Perhaps it was too much to hope that whatever else was plaguing her would be chased away too but Myrrha thought that was unlikely. Although feeling more refreshed than she had in days there was still the lingering ache from her side and shoulder to contend with. With a small motion Myrrha gathered her legs underneath her and winced briefly before allowing herself to concentrate fiercely on what she wanted next. The wound in her shoulder complained loudly as she tried to mentally direct her body to try and do some mending of the injury. The fact that it didn't seem to work caused Myrrha to give an unhappy sigh. She reached up with her left hand to gently press on the injury and gave a soft sound of pain before lowering her hand. Opening her eyes the senshi of scents took in Scylla's expression before noticing the glowing markings. It was remarkably similar to Maia. Gently she raised her her gloved hand and gently traced in the air the symbol she was seeing on Jada's forehead. There was no touch involved and shaking off the mental musing Myrrha began to shift uneasily. Although still not one hundred percent and perhaps wondering how exactly it was that Scylla was boosting her energy levels was it safe to let the Kraken senshi keep up the transfer?

There was a little bit of worry that her friend and ally might overdo it. Raising her voice she reached out to tap Scylla on the arm. "I think you can let up now."

Changed my mind about one last hallucination.

This was harder than she had thought it might be, Jada reflected as she tried to focus on sharing. From easy and free, it grew like a groundswell, and from easy skeins of yarn it frazzled and frayed, testing her. Pulling her into it, pushing her away- it was like the tides she was coming to recognize, and it was fascinating. But now wasn't the time to explore, was it? She knelt there, next to Myrrha, struggling with something she didn't quite... What had she been told? The power to protect? Then why did it feel like fighting? Her natural instincts screamed that she needed to control what was happening, to guide it and push it in the way she wanted it to go... So she tried to relax her grip, not just physically, but on the warmth that flowed between her planet and Myrrha's arm. Let it flow, not try and force a river into the constrained shape of a hose.

The tap to her arm startled her from her focus and consideration, and the Senshi of the Kraken blinked as she opened her eyes to stare at the other woman for a moment. "Oh," she said dumbly, and blinked away that connection, trying to pull her hands off the power. For a moment it was like trying to let go of something sticky- wipe molasses off of her hands- but then the magic slipped away into the autumn air. "Of course. I'm sorry, I've not done this before. I didn't hurt you, did I?" Was it too soon to ask if Scylla had helped? She released the other woman's arm and slid back on her heels, considering the other senshi.

She needed to get Myrrha off the streets, to somewhere safe. "My home isn't far, if you are feeling up to the walk. You can take a nap before you go back home." If Myrrha had used her powers on family or something...

Myrrha was trying to get a read on just how she felt after experiencing whatever it was that just happened. The super senshi of scents could definitely say that she was feeling just a little bit more 'awake' after Scylla did whatever it was that had been done and for that Myrrha was grateful. The idea of being constantly worn down and still ill would have been a daunting thought to head back home with. Her gaze, while still weary, was beginning to focus with more clarity on just where it was she and Scylla were sitting. It was just off the side of one of the main roads in the city and she was startled. What had exactly happened from when she had gone out in earlier seeking refuge?

Her eyes widened infinitesimally before she chanced speaking. "I think I'm okay. Whatever you did I think worked. Although I'm still not sure on what it was."

Myrrha gave a small, testing movement of her arm and still found it to be tender. So whatever it was that Scylla had done it didn't take care of injuries. The senshi refrained from probing at her side. The idea that Scylla presented was a tempting offer. She had a feeling there was a good chunk of the evening that she would never really remember. With a hand braced against the tree that she had been leaned against Myrrha pushed herself to her feet and nodded at Scylla's offer. "I think that might be a good idea. I'm still foggy on what's happened tonight. The idea of a safe place to rest and fully recover would be sensible for me to accept. Thank you Scylla. Thank you for everything."
