s p a c e r▬ ▬ ▬ { ☭ } Karcora L o r e m _ i p s u m _ d o l o r s i t↳↳ Wolfessmoon ★▕ Seventeen ⇒ Female ⇒ Beyond Comprehesion s p a c e rTHE GREY CLOVER PRINCESSRoleplay Sample: An excerpt from a different rp. Iazel trudged through the water, annoyed. When she'd taken the right side of the path, it just wound up in a dead end. Figures. Stuff like that always happened. So, now she was just making her way back. Passing by the room she'd been asleep in, she took a quick glance and noticed something she hadn't before- There was a door, although it looked like it had been sealed off some time ago. It looked like something one of her brothers would have carved. Looking at it bothered her. How did she miss that when she first woke up? More disturbing than that, though, was knowing she had a brother, but not knowing his name. Frowning, Iazel turned her gaze back forward, willfully ignoring the room. Maybe one day, she'd come back and try to figure out what exactly had happened. Or, maybe not. Quickening her pace, she walked through the ankle deep water and walked, walked, walked until the room was out of sight and out of mind. The waterway was nowhere as big as it used to be- Some parts seemed to have been sealed off. Once she got to parts she recognized, it was a piece of cake getting out. Just a few turns here and there, and she was out. Or, well, close. She could see the old entrance that she and her friends used to use. What were their names again? The brown haired girl, and the blonde boy. Playing in here all the time, splashing in the water. One memory that stuck out was pushing the boy in. When she'd gone to help him up, he pulled her in too. The brown haired girl had laughed so hard she seemed like she was gonna cry. A smile played at her lips at the thought. What the hell were their names? These people were important, so why...? As quickly as it came, the smile was gone and she was on her way, walking through the water and out of a square entrance. It seemed like there'd been bars blocking it at some point- Somebody busted straight through them, though. She took a step over the remnants of the bars and took in the sight of Traverse Town and how it had grown. Iazel was in the second district, she knew that. But only because she knew that this was where the waterway connected to. If she hadn't, she wouldn't have known where in the world this was, because she didn't recognize anything. Either a lot of time had passed, or there had been some recent remodeling, because she had no idea what building was which. Wasn't there a hotel somewhere around here? Maybe if she went there, she could get some idea of what year it was? At least she remembered the time when she went to sleep. It couldn't have been that long, considering the fact that she hadn't aged. One wayward glance into the water was enough for her to know that. It was like she'd only fallen asleep yesterday. She peered down into the water, reading her reflection like a book. Staring intently, it was hard not to notice the small purple portal open behind her. Whirling around, she faced the assailant- Heartless, she already knew that. Iazel's keyblade was already in her hand before she knew it, appearing in a glimmer of light as a bunch of Shadows pooled up from the ground. She narrowed her eyes. "Small fry. Don't you know who you're messing with?" She asked imperiously, drawing up one hand, letting it tingle with electricity. This would be way too easy. Flicking her hand like one might a flea, the wave of electric power splintered off and went up into the air. The seven shadows before her barely had any time to move before her expertly cast Thundaga shocked them off the face of the planet. From shadows to cinders, if she had to put it into words. If the Heartless here wanted to take her down, they'd need something stronger. As if on queue, more rose up from the ground, and Iazel smiled. She lunged forward into the group, sweeping Everglim back and forth like she was brushing away dust. After all, it was all they were to her- Dust. Weak. This warrior had slept for far too long. She needed something exciting, something big. "Something to die for." She whispered, cutting through the weak like they were meant to be culled. All the while, she made her way slowly towards where she thought the hotel was.

Karcora ☭ Chooser of The Slainthisisaspacer t h i s i s a s p a c e r THE GREY CLOVER PRINCESS tab tab THE BASICS tab ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄
☭ FULL NAME: tab tab Karcora
☭ NICKNAMES: tab tab Death Goddess, Battle-Maiden, Valkyrie
☭ AGE: tab tab Seventeen, in terms of looks.
☭ BIRTHMARK: tab tab Her birthmark is a clover, and is securely hidden on the upper back of her left thigh and is generally out of sight unless someone happens to get a panty shot angle.
☭ GENDER: tab tab FEMALE
☭ SEXUALITY: tab tab While Karcora herself does not seem to hold any of these feelings towards people, she understands them quite well and is very, very perceptive when people feel them. Generally, she considers herself above these feelings unless something really gets through to her, so we'll just call her demisexual for now.
☭ HOMEWORLD: tab tab Valgarde
tab tab A DEEPER LOOK tab ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄
☭ PERSONALITY: Duty driven and bold, it's hard to come by someone who works hard like she does. As one of the youngest Valkyrie, she is constantly trying to prove herself as someone who will do what it takes, no matter the cost. However, unlike the rest, she has an odd moral compass that holds her back from doing such a thing, and will often hesitate if the next step for something is an action that's less than honorable. She is brave beyond words, and will face any true threat with nary a second thought. Her fellow Valkyrie describe her as noble and queenly, though most of the time, this is kind of just an act. To strangers, she will be as queenly and commanding as possible, but once people get to see past this bitchy exterior, they will see a warrior who has hope for a better future and is quick to acknowledge her own mistakes and just as swift to try and correct them. However, this does not change the fact that her goal in life is to bring back the worthy hearts of heartless and freshly fallen warriors back to her own world to fight and feast eternally in the halls of Valgarde. The people she likes must be wary, because she has no qualms against bringing them back to her world if they fall in battle.
She is quick to defend anyone she has claimed as a warrior, and is especially defensive if the unworthy are attracted to them. Any person she considers unworthy who is trying to pursue a romance with one of her noble warriors will be met with an icy, vicious Valkyrie who will make sure they know their place, time and time again, making it clear that she is the ultimate cockblock. She does not defend the unworthy unless someone she likes does, as that is not her job. This is more due to her mindset as a Valkyrie, since they are taught from creation that the weak aren't worth bothering with, since they'll just go wherever weaklings go after death. She has no problems with people dying, and seems to be unaffected by tragedy, although this could change depending on who she hangs out with.
☭ BIOGRAPHY: tab Before we talk about Karcora, we have to talk about Valgarde, and why Karcora collects the hearts of the fallen. Valgarde is an eternal battlefield for the gods and the dead, shepherded by the Valkyrie. Once, long ago, it was normal world where people happily lived about their lives. Time passed, things changed, and it became the wartorn battlefield it is today. Every day, there is a battle, and every night, there is a feast. The souls of the slain constantly switch sides and wage war without a second thought, as do the gods who govern it. Originally, the Valkyrie were there to bring the worthy of that world back to the battlefield, but as time went on, people dwindled out. The world itself is completely desolate of human life, now, with the actual people existing high above. The Valkyrie, having exhausted their supply of people, were sent out to the other worlds to take their fallen and bring them back to Valgarde to join the everlasting glory.
tab Karcora is one of these winged warriors, and thus it brings us to her task- To collect hearts, of course. The journey out into other worlds revealed a threat worth fighting- The Heartless. While the rest of her comrades could easily slay them, Karcora was the only one who could slay them and release a heart. Adding onto the fact that several of the Valkyrie did get their hearts taken, Karcora is currently the only one allowed to go out into other worlds and bring people back to Valgarde, since she is the one who is best equipped for it.
tab Now, she has traveled very far from her world, and is currently exploring and enjoying this new form of freedom. And, of course, is always on the prowl for more warriors. She is unaware of her status as a princess of heart, and quite frankly, doesn't know what they are anyway. She also does not know that the keyblade is a special weapon, and could use a couple lessons on what exactly it is and what it is made for. Anyone up for some expositional dialogue?
tab tab THE POWER WITHIN tab ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄
KEYBLADE:: tab tab ☭ Einherjar tab tab tab ☭ Divine Right: All emblem heartless slain by Karcora will be sent to Valgarde, denying them their right to go to Kingdom Hearts. tab tab tab ☭ Ethereal Blade: Any attack done by Karcora, be it magic or a simple swing of her keyblade, is true damage and is not stopped by armor or any types of resist, including reflect and it's higher forms.
MAGIC:: tab tab ☭ Faith tab tab ☭ Aeroga tab tab ☭ Reflega tab tab ☭ Stop tab tab ☭ Sparkga
SKILLS:: tab tab ☭ Nibelung Valesti: :: Karcora will soar high into the air, charging her blade up with divine magic before diving down onto group of enemies and unleashing the magic in a shockwave. tab tab ☭ Wings: :: While it's less of a skill and more like something she was born with, Karcora does have wings and is able to fly. She cannot hide them, either. When in flight, she can launch feathers as projectiles and make them home in on foes, dealing moderate magic damage per feather that hit.
SUMMON:: tab tab ☭ Ghost of Foes Past :: All Valkyrie must go through a test before they gain their title. Karcora's test was a dragon. Needless to say, it lost, and its soul is hers as one of her person warriors. tab tab ☭ Steadfast Steed :: For the sake of her lesser friends who cannot fly, Karcora can summon the dragon so that they can get places faster. It can also bring them safely to other worlds, so it's pretty useful. tab tab ☭ Guardian :: The dragon will spread it's wings and bodies around the area Karcora tells it too and defend it for two turns, functioning as a shield.
tab tab MY MANY FACES tab ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄
tab tab ANYTHING ELSE? tab ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄
☭ CRUSH: tab tab tab Karcora does not have a crush
☭ OTHER: tab tab ☭ Enjoys making and breaking ships.
tab tab ☭ Will slaughter the unworthy if they even think of flirting with her warriors.
tab tab ☭ Does not take no for an answer and will 100% take your heart when you die regardless of what you said.
tab tab ☭ Once someone is unworthy in her eyes, they will be unworthy until she undergoes character development.
tab tab ☭ Enjoys trying out new food.
tab tab ☭ Is not afraid to land a killing blow.
tab tab ☭ Will blow you off and ignore you if she thinks you are unworthy.

"The extent of truth shall never change." Mᴏᴏᴅ: Calm, sorta. Dᴏɪɴɢ: Honestly she's just kind of zoning out. Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Halloween Town, Graveyard Nᴇᴀʀ: Nobody worthy
≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎☭≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎
Dangling her feet off of the roof of the mausoleum, Karcora's head hung down and her wings were wrapped around her. Wreathed in shadow, she had the appearance of a gargoyle, and would probably give a heart attack to anyone who happened to pass by and look up. She, herself, was currently lost in a daydream, or a normal dream, considering the dark sky above. Then again, you had to be asleep for one of those, and she was very much awake, for all it was worth. The Valkyrie did not come to this world often. She did not like the inhabitants, not even the ones who seemed almost worthy. They just seemed kind of off, in her opinion. But the graveyard held within had a special kind of peace to it. The silence was deafening, and pure. Lost in her own little world, she drifted in and out of her imagination, planning and plotting for the future she hoped for. One where glory could be found by everyone, perhaps even the unworthy... As lesser and undeserving as they were. Maybe they could serve mead, or something.
No, no, that wouldn't be right. Knowing people and their strange, strange hearts, they would probably fall in love with one of the worthy or something. Ugh. The thought sickened her. Every day, noble warriors were brought down by the weak people they had attached to them- The unworthy were parasites. Weak friends, constantly schmoozing of their well-to-do hard working comrades. Wives who did nothing but simper and cry when their husbands went off to war. Husbands who did nothing but leach off of the success of their wives. If the unworthy were ever to enter Valgarde, they could never be allowed anywhere near the worthy. It would just be chaos. Everything would go to brittle and bone within a week if such a thing were to happen, Karcora was sure of it. She'd heard the stories far too many times to think otherwise. All the people who met their end, just because they couldn't keep it in their pants. With a shudder, she pushed these god-awful thoughts away, sending them to the back of their mind where hopefully they would be erased in due time and forgotten forever.
Instead, she focused on her home. Those pure and wild halls, crowned with the glory of battle. The song of war was as sweet as any sparrows, and it called her home. Gods above, she just wanted a fight. A real fight. Not these worthless scrimmages with the heartless. A battle, a sparring session even. Most duels she had partaken in had gone to the death, but for obvious reasons, she would settle for simply going to first blood. Just something to remind her that above all, she was still a warrior of the highest caliber, trained in the halls of the mighty. But here, so far away, the pickings were slim. It bothered her, how weak and unprotected the other worlds felt compared to hers. But it felt like they had never seen war, either... And how could they, when they were so small? All the threats came from beyond, and judging by the nature of the Heartless, once they showed up, it seemed to be too late to fight back. Bits and pieces of her wondered whether or not this would be the case if these people were better prepared, but considering how many of her fellow Valkyrie had fallen against them, she doubted it.
She'd been sitting here for too long, stuck in her own thoughts. Now she was all stiff. Still, it was easily remedied. With a yawn, Karcora looked up to the sky and stretched out her legs and her wings at the same time, enjoying the feeling of her joints cracking and moving. Letting her legs go back to dangling, she kept her wings flared out, savoring the gusty fall winds. The valkyrie stayed like that for about thirty seconds before she scooted back and climbed to her feet, standing atop the roof without a care in the world. It was time to go- She'd had plenty of time to think. Now, she had to resume the hunt and keep searching for hearts to send back to the eternal battles of Valgarde.

"The extent of truth shall never change." Mᴏᴏᴅ: Calm, if a bit thoughtful Dᴏɪɴɢ: Watching the stranger- Stealthily Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Halloween Town, Graveyard Nᴇᴀʀ: Nobody worthy...?
≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎☭≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ Just as the Valkyrie was about to lift off, a stranger appeared in the graveyard. She didn't recognize him as one of the world's inhabitants- Not that she really knew them that well. All she'd ever done was just... Inspect them, a bit. Quite frankly, Karcora had never even spoken to single one. She wasn't even aware of the fact that they knew that she was there, or that she came around from time to time. She folded her wings behind her in apprehension, pretending not to see the strange boy as he waltzed through the graves, having very clearly spotted her. If he was trying to be subtle about it, it wasn't working at all. She, herself, remained stealthy as she gauged whether or not he was a threat. Karcora had been praying for a battle. Was this the answer? Even as he moved towards the center, she refused to give any sign that she'd seen him until he was out in the open, plain as day. His strange mask bothered her, just a bit. She hated not being able to see the full face of people- It made it harder to understand their intentions.
It would be so easy, just to fly away and not bother with this person. She'd gotten what she came here for, and was certainly in no mood to spoil it by chatting someone up and learning more about them, only to find that they were unworthy. Moments like that just spoiled her day. It had been happening more and more, lately, too. Days where she went to worlds and found people she genuinely liked and enjoyed fighting alongside, only to judge their spirits and learn that they weren't the type that could be sent back to Valgarde. But... What else did she have to do? Just do some worthless busy work, like brainlessly slaughtering the heartless? No. She'd give this stranger a chance. It was only fair. Not bothering to fly down, she jumped from the roof of the mausoleum and landed on both feet with a cat-like grace, barely even making a sound. The tips of her wings trialed behind her as she purposefully walked towards the boy, her head high as she inspected him, making sure to be very obvious about the fact that he was being examined.
Finally, she came to a stop about a foot away and looked him right in the eye. "Does your mask hide something you don't want people to see?" The Valkyrie asked, not even bothered to introduce herself. In full Halloween Town garb, she looked much more intimidating than normal, what with her large sharp horns and a resting b***h face. More importantly, she seemed to be completely aware of it, and was definitely using it to it's full potential. "If so, it works well," She stated, not giving him a chance to answer. "Because I cannot read your intentions at all." As she spoke, she started circling the boy like a shark, peering at him intently as though he was some kind of puzzle, just waiting to be taken apart and deciphered. But, judging by the glint in her eyes, he was one of those super easy four piece puzzles made for children at best. "So, I have to ask. What brings you to a place like this, all alone?" Looking around to the graves, she stopped near one and swept some of the dust off with one hand while the other was behind her back. "Perhaps you came to mourn?" ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎☭≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ 𝕜𝕒𝕣𝕔𝕠𝕣𝕒, 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕥𝕣𝕦𝕖 𝕧𝕒𝕝𝕜𝕪𝕣𝕚𝕖 OoC:

"The extent of truth shall never change." Mᴏᴏᴅ: Calm, lost in history mode Dᴏɪɴɢ: Explaining and probably going overboard on it. Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Halloween Town, Graveyard Nᴇᴀʀ: Nobody worthy...?
≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎☭≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎
Thoughtfully, Karcora ran a hand along one of her horns. "The question I asked was not personal, nor were yours. I wear these things simply because they pop up for no reason when I visit this world, and cannot be taken off." She explained cordially, ignoring what she supposed was an attempt to insult her, or perhaps to get her to back down. She didn't even bother giving his odd speech about weirdness any acknowledgement, if only because it was just... Odd, to repeat the same thing twice and act like it was a good segway into explaining things. So far, from this interaction, she felt as though if she were to judge his soul, it would be considered unworthy. Especially so, when he asked if she was pretending to be the angel of death. The question made her c**k her head. "Angels? You mean the Malakhim, I assume?" It wasn't a question- They were the mostly commonly known angels of the man-made religion, Judaism, very much resembled the Valkyrie in terms of having a human form. The rest of the angels simply didn't match. Cherubim and Seraphim and the like were far too horrific for their own good, and she was glad that they were simply fairy tales in the end, nothing more than things made up by humans with too much time on their hands. "The angels of the third sphere have never been involved with death- They, being the closest with humanity, were always set as intermediaries of a sort. However, they did not have wings, as many once thought. It was a good try, though." That would surely set this young man straight.
Leaning against the gravestone, she continued, caught by the topic. "Likewise, the devil's appearance is subjective. Mortal scriptures say that he was one of the Seraphim. If so, then this is a very, very shoddy costume if the intent was to be him." The Valkyrie was on a roll. Nothing was stopping her now. Once she got onto the topic of mortals and the religions they had made up long ago, nothing could stop her until she was done. "The Seraphim had at least six sets if wings- My one could not compare. They also never wore clothes, for they had no need to. Their wings covered every inch of them from sight, from their head to their feet..." She started pacing back and forth in front of the tombstone now, full on lost in a world of scripture and legend.
Finally she was brought ought of her reverie when he mentioned the heartless. Judging by the fact that he summoned his weapon, he seemed to think that she had something to do with them? Karcora stopped and looked him dead in the eye. "The reason that trash isn't here is because I already slaughtered everything in this graveyard and sent their hearts back to The Halls of Glory." She stated, pure honesty in her eyes. "And I am most certainly not a Heartless, yes. I am a Valkyrie, the only one wandering between worlds currently. It is my job to bring the worthy back. That is my only duty. If you thought you would find an ally in me, you are sorely mistaken." Her eyes fell to his keyblade, and her gaze softened. "However, you won't find an enemy in me, either." Unless of course, he did something stupid like smack her with the blade. But Karcora was six feet tall and built like Adonis himself, so hopefully he wouldn't. Not that she seemed to expect anything like that, but one could never know. "The reason I asked about mourning is because that's the reason humans visit graveyards, is it not? I've no reason to do such a thing." She seemed puzzled as he answered. "You think it's creepy here?" The Valkyrie chuckled. "Such honesty is refreshing. I, personally, think it's rather peaceful. It reminds me of home, although the grounds certainly do need tending."

Karcora let the boy speak his peace patiently, not responding visibly to most of what he said as she thought about it. It wasn't like it was that complicated- She knew that there were many, many strong heartless. Things that towered over her and had massive holes in their chests. But they fell to her blade, all the same. Perhaps the boy couldn't fight them alone, but she could. Easily. When he pointed his keyblade at her a second time, Karcora made up her mind- She didn't really want to bother with this young man. Even if he did prove worthy, he didn't have a personality she liked. So, for once in her life, she didn't judge him. Instead, the Valkyrie reached out and patted him on the shoulder. "I can return home any time I'd like. Just because you can't doesn't mean others are in the same boat." She stated before kicking her feet on the ground, spreading her wings fully as she lifted off and took flight. There was no way the boy would catch up, not with her flight speed. Karcora sailed through the air and sped off, flapping her wings with gusto. She had better things to do than sit around and chat with children. At this point, slaughtering heartless would be better than sitting around listening to some kid make assumptions like that. It wasn't the first time she'd been in such a situation. But something told her that there were greener pastures elsewhere. She just had to find them. For now, though, she sailed far above the world, heading off in a new direction.
